Oriana gazed at the window. Carina and Ariella stood from opposite sides of their mother as they also stared at the city from the window.
"There's a war coming, my daughters." Oriana declared. "Thanks to our unlimited resources, the heroes will not underestimate our coven's strength of power. We will use all the power to bring Ursula and her legacy, and this superhuman society down along with her. We'll give her one final fight that she'll never live to forget."
"So, the three of us will be using the power of Divine Trinity against Ursula." Carina said. "I'm all ready for my second rematch with her."
"Once Ursula and Luna are ours, the world will be in the palm of our hand." Carina continued. "Not even the great All For One and his pathetic underlings will stand a chance against our wrath."
Carina grew an intriguing smile, while Ariana looked away with a guilty expression.
At U.A. High, Class 1-A students stood outside as they found themselves facing against a horde of Villain Bots.
"We are the Skynet of this world!" The Villain Bots hollered. "Humans, you are terminated!"
Aoyama was the first student to jump in the air. He started slashing through several Villain Bots with ease. Instead of firing his laser beam, Aoyama managed to shape his Navel Laser into a cutting light blade.
"Navel Saber!" Aoyama said.
Sato, Tokoyami, Kaminari, and Sero looked utterly surprised and awestruck with Aoyama's improved Quirk.
"A new move!" Kaminari said excitedly. "Lucky! I want a sword!"
Hagakure immediately ran forward.
"Woohoo! Let's do this, Aoyama!" Hagakure shouted.
Aoyama swung his Navel Saber at Hagakure, who reflected and warped the shining laser of Yuga's Quirk to destroy more Villain Bots.
"The beam curved!" Sero said.
"Oh, yeah! That's the stuff!" Kaminari cheered.
"I learned to take light and bend it to my will." Hagakure said.
Aoyama then clenched his stomach by the strong effect of his Quirk.
Then suddenly, more Villain Bots charged towards the Class 1-A students.
"Tremble before us!" The Villain Bots hollered again. "This shall be known as Judgment Day!"
"Max viscosity! Acidman!" Mina yelled as she somersaulted downward from the air.
Mina generated a large amount of acid that covered her entire body into a vaguely anthropomorphic form. She touched two Villain Bots upon contact, which instantly dissolved them by her powerful acid.
"And that's a wrap!" Mina said.
"We killed it!" Hagakure cheered.
All Might and his Class 1-A students applauded for Aoyama, Hagakure, and Mina's Quirk improvements.
"Wonderful job!" All Might said. "Your Work Studies paid off. It's obvious you learned a lot from Equipped Hero: Yoroi Musha."
"He had lots of advice for supercharging our offense and defense, so we figured out new attacks and combos to keep up." Hagakure explained.
"Wanna know a secret about Acidman?" Mina asked excitedly as she walked up to Kirishima. "I got the idea from your Unbreakable!"
Kirishima gasped, but he puts on a happy smile on his face.
"Nice." Kirishima smiled.
"They have obviously improved. Now, show me what the rest of you have learned." All Might said.
"Got it!" Class 1-A students said in unison.
With that being said, Class 1-A began demonstrating their Quirk improvements.
Sato quickly delivered rapid punches and Ojiro swung his tail to demolish the Villain Bots in a close-range combat. They both learned about reading ahead during their work study with Lion Hero: Shishido.
We're using a flurry of attacks. Sato thought.
And predicting the enemy moves. Ojiro thought.
Shoji and Jiro charged forward at the Villain Bots with their sensory-based Quirks. They both improved their search skills during their work study with Killer Whale Hero: Gang Orca.
Our search skills improved! Jiro said.
Mineta quickly launched a large number of his pop off balls, trapping the Villain Bots in place.
"Take this Grape Rush!" Mineta yelled.
Sero wrapped the Villain Bots altogether with his tape, which allowed Kaminari to shoot his disc-shaped Pointers and released a large amount of electricity to finish them off.
"That's some quick and efficient teamwork!" Mineta said.
Mineta, Sero, and Kaminari learned quick and efficient teamwork during their work study with Mineyama Hero: Mt. Lady, who happened to be a member of the Lurkers alongside Edgeshot and Kamui Woods.
Tenya accelerated towards the Villain Bots with incredible speed and delivered a swift kick that destroyed them in a looser, but very fast footwork. He learned manners during his work study with Normal Hero: Manual.
Koda commanded a large group of pigeons to fly around the Villain Bots, distracting their focus on him. He learned communication skills during his work study with Normal Hero: Wash.
Clearer communication! Koda thought.
Tokoyami charged forward and smashed the Villain Bots with his Dark Shadow equipping onto him as an exoskeleton. He learned overall improvement during his work study with Wing Hero: Hawks.
Overall improvement! Tokoyami thought.
The Villain Bots began thrusting their appendages at Kirishima, who already hardened his entire body to maximum levels. But their appendages started breaking apart upon impact. Kirishima then shattered the robots' appendages with a punch and immediately charged forward. He learned how to make the opponent lose the will to fight during his work study with BMI Hero: Fat Gum.
Make my opponent lose the will to fight super quick! Kirishima thought.
Uraraka sprinted forward and floated high in the air. Tsuyu launched her tongue and wrapped it around Uraraka's waist, swinging her towards two Villain Bots. Uraraka then shot out two grappling hooks that clasped the Villain Bots, which immediately caught Izuku's attention with a gasp. They both learned teamwork and decisiveness during their work study with Dragoon Hero: Ryukyu.
Teamwork. Tsuyu thought.
And decisiveness! Uraraka thought.
Yaoyorozu spun in mid-air and opened her long, high-collared red cape that unleashed several explosive grenades towards the Villain Bots. She learned prediction and efficiency during their work study with Magic Hero: Majestic.
Calculation and efficiency! Yaoyorozu thought.
Katsuki propelled himself through the air with his explosions and unleashed concentrated explosions that demolished the Villain Bots.
Pushing myself to the max! Katsuki yelled.
Shoto completely obliterated the Villain Bots with the combination of his flames and his ice.
Increasing my speed. Shoto said.
Both Katsuki and Shoto, alongside Izuku, learned to level up their abilities and increase their speed during their work study with Flame Hero: Endeavor.
Then, Izuku sprinted forward with his One For All: Full Cowling. He sprang up in the air and wrecked one Villain Bot coming in his direction.
Down below, All Might watched intensively.
It feels like that was so long ago. All Might thought. You don't look back at me for approval anymore, do you?
Izuku lifted his left arm upwards and unleashed a wide range of Blackwhip, which successfully ensnared the rest of the Villain Bots altogether in the form of a huge ball.
I got tons of experience. Izuku thought.
All Might looked very impressed.
That's good. You don't need to. All Might thought. Keep going, young man!
Izuku then dove down and demolished the ensnared Villain Bots with a diving front kick. He looked back up and clenched his fist with a smile.
Aisha sprinted forward and soared in the air with her psychokinesis. Luna and Selene were levitated from the opposite sides of her while Diana flew above in her orange aura.
Diana dove down and manifested her red aura around her right side. She started firing a barrage of red energy blasts at the Villain Bots.
Brute determination! Diana thought.
Aisha zoomed down alongside Luna and Selene as she then propelled her friends at full speed. Selene quickly fired off a barrage of star-like orbs from her hands, destroying four Villain Bots in her sights. Two Villain Bots began launching their appendages towards Aisha. Aisha's entire body went completely intangible and the robots' appendages went through it. Aisha then lifted the Villain Bots into the air with psychokinesis and scattered them into broken pieces. They, alongside Luna, learned to level up their abilities and teamwork during their work study with Magician Hero: Tarot Chariot.
Maintain a sharp, focused mindset! Selene thought.
And heightened your observation! Aisha thought.
While diving down, Luna activated her Dazzling Trinity and delivered a swift roundhouse kick that wrecked one Villain Bot charging towards her.
Thanks for giving me tons of experience, mom. Luna thought.
After landing on the ground, Luna lifted her arms upwards and materialized pink exoskeleton armor around her arms. She leaped high into the air and delivered a barrage of powerful punches that easily destroyed the last remaining Villain Bots and broke them into pieces.
Luna's eyes looked down at All Might and brought out a smile at him.
All Might smiled back from down below.
I'm proud of you, Luna. All Might thought. Not only as a mentor, but as a father too.
All Might grinned for Izuku and Luna's Quirk improvement.
Afterwards, the maintenance robots began cleaning up the wrecked pieces of Villain Bots. All Class 1-A students finished showcasing their Quirk improvements that they've learned and achieved during their Work-Studies.
"Hey, Bakugo." Kirishima said as he approached Katsuki. "Are you good with fighting when it's cold out now?"
"I used condensed shots. Winter's crap!" Katsuki replied.
"Wow, Todoroki. You're hotter, cooler, and faster." Hagakure said.
"I don't know." Shoto said. "I'm still not able to catch up to Endeavor, though."
"Looks like you can use that dark energy stuff now." Mineta said to Izuku.
"Yeah. I'm sorry it was a pain earlier." Izuku said.
"It's all good." Mineta reassured.
"For real, man." Sero said as he walked up to Izuku and Mineta. "Get any better and you're gonna make my Quirk obsolete."
Jiro approached Selene and Diana.
"Your Quirks were amazing." Jiro said. "That was some pretty wicked power behind your Stellar and your Aura."
"That's because I kept practicing on projecting two auras at the same time. But I'm working on manifesting three or maybe four auras very soon." Diana said.
"I'm also thinking of new creative ninjutsu techniques for my Stellar Quirk." Selene added.
"You're literally becoming faster and stronger with your Quirk, Aisha." Tokoyami said to Aisha.
"Thanks, but if I want to match up to Chariot's speed, I still need a lot of practice." Aisha said.
"Wow! Your Exofists are totally amazing, Luna!" Mina said as she approached Luna.
"Yeah, I've been working on using them for my long and short-range attacks." Luna added.
Later that afternoon, Tarot Chariot and Luna sat across from each other inside the card dimension.
"Your father told me about your excellent progress on your Quirk." Tarot Chariot said with a smile. "You definitely come a long way since you first inherited Divine Trinity. When he told me the news, he makes it seems that there's no limit to your potential."
"Thanks, mom." Luna smiled back.
"However, that shouldn't stop you from improving your power to new heights." Tarot Chariot said. "You have to keep moving forward. During your time in class, I collected as many details of your moves as I can with my magic card. And I learned from studying your usage of Divine Trinity confirms my theory before. Your own output and control of that Quirk is much stronger than my own, including your aunts and your grandmother. It's no wonder Oriana was obsessed with you."
"Yeah, that does explain why she's always in my head before and during joint training." Luna said, crossing her arms.
"Since you developed Dazzling Trinity and Exofists, what new technique are you gonna learn?" Tarot Chariot asked.
"I haven't given much thought into that yet, but I did find an inspiration that I believe it might be my next technique." Luna replied. "I'll hone that technique once I return to work study."
Tarot Chariot grew out a warm smile.
"Can't wait to see it once you improved it." Tarot Chariot said.
Later that night, Luna, Izuku, and Katsuki walked together back to Height Alliance. Earlier, after Luna's private conservation with Tarot Chariot, Izuku handed a notebook to Luna and explained that it contained important information on the past successors of One For All. Luna opened the notebook and went over the pages, but she noticed that her father wasn't able to collect details from the second and third users. She even told the boys that the past One For All users got pretty strong Quirks and she excitedly can't wait for what Quirks Izuku will be learning next.
Luna opened the doors, where she and the boys saw their classmates already preparing for dinner.
"What were you guys doing?" Sero asked, holding five bowls with both hands. "The House Arrest Boys are late again, but it isn't like you to be this unexpectedly late, Luna."
"Sorry about that." Luna said with a casual smile. "You can say just we've lost track of time."
"Better hurry up and lend a hand." Kaminari said, handing a small tray of meat with one hand. "Otherwise, it's no meat for you."
"Right! I'm on it!" Izuku said.
Izuku sped away.
"Really? You think you can take meat away from me, Sparky?" Katsuki said, stepping towards Kaminari with a threatening tone. "I'll murder you."
"Now, Bakugo." Luna said, grabbing her boyfriend's right arm.
"Uh…" Sero said with confusion.
"He's a total villain." Kaminari commented.
"The more you help, the sooner you eat!" Kirishima smiled, holding a large bowl of vegetables.
"Let me change and I'll give you guys a hand." Luna said.
Luna quickly sprinted out of the kitchen and followed Izuku to the elevator.
Within half an hour, all the food were finally cooked. All Class 1-A students sat together inside the common area on green sofas and seats.
"Now, friends." Iida spoke, raising a plastic cup in his hand. "The long-awaited Work Studies Exchange and Starting the Term Off with a Bang Hot Pot Patry is ready to begin. Let's eat up!"
Everyone cheered while raising their plastic cups upwards. They began enjoying their meals while conserving with each other.
"By the time it warms up again, we'll be starting off our second year." Jiro said.
"Time sure does fly." Tsuyu said.
"You can say that again." Diana agreed.
"What a crazy buncha months." Uraraka said.
"Just think we'll be upperclassmen." Mina said excitedly.
"We won't see much of the newbies, though." Sato pointed out. "Hero students can't join clubs."
"We'll get some promising heroes-to-be. Cutie first years!" Hagakure said cheerfully.
"Calm down. We still have about three months to go. And don't forget that finals are just over the horizon." Iida reminded.
"Stop talking, Iida! You're ruining the food!" Mineta yelled.
"Words can't change the taste." Shoto said.
"You! How is someone so dense so popular with the ladies?" Minoru snapped. "Let alone, get a girlfriend?"
"Oh, man, Mineta. Sounds to me like you're concerned you won't pass." Jiro teased.
Aisha and Selene giggled.
"Uh, shut up!" Mineta retorted.
Izuku, Dark Shadow, and Kaminari laughed.
"Don't sweat it. I'm kinda worried, too, Mineta." Kaminari said.
Luna was chatting with Aisha and Selene. In her mind, she couldn't can't believe how her life has changed before her eyes. She had enrolled in UA High, where both of her parents became teachers and she's dating Katsuki Bakugo. She grew out a happy smile as she couldn't ask for a better path into becoming a future heroine.
Outside, All Might and Tarot Chariot sat together on a bench.
"There you are."
All Might and Tarot Chariot turned their heads to see Aizawa standing at the open door.
"What are you two doing? It's freezing out here." Aizawa said.
"Oh, not much." Tarot Chariot replied.
"You need us? What's up?" All Might asked.
"Yes. I have a message from Tsukauchi." Aizawa informed. He walked out and closed the door behind him. "He wants to postpone your meeting with Stain for now."
"Got it." All Might said. "By the way…how's young Eri and young Nico?"
"Sleeping like a baby." Aizawa replied. "My plan is to start Eri's formal training this week. And your wife will begin Nico's training as well."
"I'll help you." All Might said.
"Toshi, something's definitely bothering you." Tarot Chariot said concernedly.
"I decided to keep on living." All Might replied. "Thing is…How do I put this? I feel so powerless. Like nothing I try really matters. Every time I see our students improve, I'm tortured by the fact that I can't do more to prepare them for the future."
Aizawa stepped down the stairs and approached next to All Might.
"It would seem that you're still a workaholic." Aizawa said.
"What?" All Might said.
"You defended us almost on your own and later with your wife for decades. So, yeah. I'm sure it's hard to come down from that high." Aizawa explained.
"That's a little harsh." All Might muttered.
"Well, you can't expect the quiet Eraser Head to sugarcoat." Tarot Chariot remarked.
"But you are still able to help them." Aizawa added.
"Huh?" All Might asked in slight surprise.
"By being at their side." Aizawa continued. "Your presence is enough to inspire greatness. That's the truth."
"He's right, sweetie. You should sit back and put your feet up." Tarot Chariot said with a soft smile. "Don't you ever apologize for being alive."
"Thanks." All Might said.
The next day, Rhina watched as Coppelia began to project all the Six Sages' training and Daku's robotic schematics on the holographic screens from her eyes. She was trying to gather as much keen information as she could.
It looks like Coppelia has successfully recorded everything without being spotted. Rhina thought. It's only a matter of time before the Amarante Coven unleash an attack on society. Until then, I need to send this intel to Tarot Chariot as soon as possible. I just hope her daughter and her friends, along with the rest of our allies, have enough time to prepare themselves for what's coming.
Three months later, it is the beginning of Spring Break for Luna, Diana, Selene, and Aisha. But as they started walking through the cherry blossom trees, they collectively stared at the messages that they suddenly just received from their phones. They read that they are summoned to an expeditionary operation during their Work Studies.
"Seriously? It's spring break, for Pete's sake. Can we just enjoy it before going back to our work studies?" Diana complained.
"Tell me about it. I was so looking forward to relaxation." Aisha agreed.
"It says our work studies are gonna be an expeditionary operation." Selene said. "I think Chariot's agency is going on a work field trip."
"I wonder what it could mean." Luna pondered.
On that day, Tarot Chariot stood on the top of the Might Tower. Earlier, she had informed her hero course students and sidekicks that they are actually summoned for a joint operation with the pro heroes.
"At the foot of the enemy territory, there are heroes and sidekicks in preparation." Tarot Chariot reported. "But for now, we'll be in charge of evacuating residents from our position."
Morganite, the Shiroibara Quartet, Cleopatra, the Roulette Twins, Malachite, and Dazzler looked silently determined.
Little do they know that the Amarante Coven and the Paranormal Liberation Front are plotting their war, and the harrowing incident that would shake superhuman society that will never be the same.
