AND WE ARE BACK!
Someone wanted to know what
happened to Chisaki and what did
Nighteye see. In this chapter, you'll
see what happened in his vision.
I think you all will be happy about
this, honestly.
don't forget to comment and vote!
happy reading!
"The inmate is safely secured." A police officer was debriefed as he checked his clipboard with his captain.
After the arrest of Chisaki and his mafia, they had to be separated accordingly. In case he had any ideas on trying to escape.
Chisaki was currently strapped to a gurney from the neck below. Partially due to being severely injured and partially to stop him from using his quirk. Not like he could, he has no arms. But he was a genius and they didn't want to take any chances.
The captain shook his head diligently before tapping the back of the truck. "Okay, all clear to transport the inmate. Let's roll out!"
After he said that, the driver of the truck began driving out of the garage and into the road.
Chisaki was out cold in the back of the truck as the driver continued on. The street was a bit busy and that was mainly due to afternoon traffic in the city. It seemed like nothing could wake him up. Not the rattling of the equipment near him, not the clinking chains around his body, nothing. Not even the driver's whistling.
The driver began breaking away from the rest of the police trucks he was supposed to be following to the prison and took a road less traveled. Which went unnoticed by the other cops, somehow. The road he drove on had no other cars coming. It was like an empty highway road.
Chisaki only woke up as soon as he felt the truck start to slow down. He groaned, shaking his head a little. His broken mask was strapped to his face still and he almost forgot what happened to him. But then he saw where he was and he remembered everything again.
And now, he was strapped to a gurney, on his way to prison, and it was all because of a stupid teenager. He began to feel embarrassed and pissed off, all at once. He had to find a way to get out so that he can enact his revenge on that precocious little bitch.
But just before he could think of a plan to get out, the doors of the truck swung open, revealing a officer with his had in his face, hiding a head of long black hair that was tied in a low pony tail behind his neck.
"We're already here?" Chisaki asked sarcastically. "Didn't seem like a long drive at all. You mind not tying these chains so tight? Fucking killing me and this truck is filthy."
The officer didn't say anything but climb the truck and walk over to his side. Chisaki frowned, not liking that he was being ignored. "Hey, I'm talking to-"
"My apologies, Chisaki." the officer said. Chisaki squinted his eyes to get a good look at the officer. His eyes suddenly widened. His shoulders shook and his face turned pale as the officer took off his hat.
Only, it wasn't an officer. It was Kurayami Ishida. Disguised as a police officer.
Kurayami took off the hat and took out his hair from the ponytail, letting it fall all over his muscular shoulders. His skull face was on full display for him to see as he looked down at Chisaki with an unreadable face.
"Kurayami!" He exclaimed angrily. "What the hell are you doing?!"
Kurayami sighed, leaning against his bed, pulling out a black cigarette and lighting it with his pinky. He took a long inhale of it, allowing the smoke to fill his lungs before exhaling out of his nose. Directly in his face.
"This scene looks very familiar to me." Kurayami said, taking another drag of his cigarette. "Are you familiar with deja vu, Chisaki?"
Chisaki coughed as he continued to blow more smoke into his face. He said nothing as he stared at the grim reaper in anxiety. So Kurayami shrugged, continuing on.
"I am." He said, flicking ashes away. "I've lived this moment before. This will be the third time, actually...The first being when my father died...I was about 16 years old...The second time was four years ago...In Tokyo, Japan...You remember that day?"
Chisaki remembered that day. It was the day he was supposed to die. The mafia he was working under sent him to steal guns and other weapons from a rival gang. During the raid, someone from the rival gang planted a bomb under their getaway car.
It went off and killed everyone in the car except Chisaki. While he was on the verge of death, Kurayami showed up. At the time, Kurayami was working with the rival gang. But he was always curious about Chisaki, so he healed him. Allowing him to live. In return, Chisaki helps him get what he wants from the rivals.
After he helped him, that was it for their acquaintances. But Kurayami had helped him with certain stuff as time went on. It was like a mutual agreement. He helped him out of death, Chisaki was in debt to do stuff for him.
Kurayami never really asked for anything from him. So why is he doing this? Well, simple...He was a virus he regretted keeping alive.
Chisaki was a virus in this world. And the longer he lived, the worse this world would get. He didn't believe in dabbling in fate but Chisaki was an exception he was willing to take.
"I'll let you know something I told my father before I watched him bleed out and die like the pig he was." Kurayami said lowly, leaning super close to his ear.
With a bone-chilling tone of voice, he whispered, "You can cheat your way out of a lot of things...But...Death always wins."
Without warning, Kurayami plunged his hand into Chisaki's body, as if he was phasing through him like a phantom. Chisaki began to choke and let out loud groans as Kurayami's eyes glowed.
Kurayami slowly pulled out what looked like purple energy from his chest. Which was his soul. He was ripping his soul from his body. The death symbol on the palm of his hand began to glow brightly as Chisaki yelled in agony.
"AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!" he yelled as his face became skinnier and skinnier with every tug.
His hair turned white and his skin began to decay. Kurayami yanked his soul out of his body with one last pull, holding it in his tight grip.
He looked at Chisaki as he drew his very last breath. Becoming a shell of who he used to be. A lifeless carcass with hollowed eyes that seemed to never end. Chisaki's soul was now his and his life was gone permanently.
Kurayami allowed the soul in his hand to seep into his hand as the death symbol glowed. He sent his soul straight to hell.
With one last sigh, Kurayami looked at Chisaki's dead body before turning and leaving. Once he hopped out of the truck, he closed it behind him, locking it tightly.
He took a few steps back before letting black fire erupt into it, setting the entire truck ablaze. The truck exploded with his body in it, allowing it to turn to ashes completely. Ridding the world of Kai Chisaki forever.
With one last look, Kurayami tossed the cigarette into the fire before turning to leave.
It is true with what they say...Death always wins.
It was Saturday and while most of UA were back in their dorms, there were a good amount of students getting ready for the School Festival. The month was almost up so everyone buzzed around like worker bees to perfect their sections and/or performances.
Mirio and Midoriya were tasked to watch over Eri and show her around while Aizawa was busy that day. So the two decided to walk her around UA.
They showed her where all of the students were setting up the festival, the beauty pageant area and even where the mechanics were. After taking a break, they decided to walk her to the upper floors of the school.
"Ah! Tomomi!" Mirio exclaimed as soon as he stopped the white and red haired girl walking out of the south wing's library. "There you are!"
Tomomi just left the library and was on her way to Gym Gamma when she spotted Mirio, Midoriya and Eri on the other end of the hallway.
As soon as she saw the little girl, her face brightened. "Hello~" She greeted, walking over to them.
Eri's eyes widened a little as she saw Tomomi. Feeling a little excited to see her, she ran up to her and hugged her waist as much as her tiny could.
"Eri seems happy to see you." Midoriya chuckled at the sight. It was a really cute sight to see Tomomi hug the little girl.
She seemed happy but she didn't have a smile on her face.
"Are you having fun with Mirio and Midoriya?" Tomomi asked, allowing the little girl to pull back.
Eri blankly looked at her fingers before shrugging, turning her eyes back up at Tomomi. "I don't know...Everything is happening so fast." She said truthfully. "I didn't see you at the hospital...I was worried."
Tomomi pursed her lips a little, feeling bad. After her hospital stay, she had to go straight back to school. She didn't have time to even see Eri before she left and she felt bad about that. Aizawa did keep her updated with everything that was going on with her. So it wasn't like she didn't know what was going on with her.
But still, she wanted to see her. Just her luck, she managed to run into them.
"Well, I'm fine, as you can see." She promised, moving a hair off her face. "And I see that you're doing fine, as well. What are you three doing?"
"We were showing her around." Mirio explained. "Miss Midnight told us how your class is the talk of the school. You're performing a musical number? That's awesome."
Tomomi smiled in pride. "Yes, we are. Speaking of, I was just heading that way. We decided to take an hour break. Aoyama can only use his quirk for so long."
"Are you joining the beauty pageant?" Midoriya asked. When he heard that there was a pageant going on, he immediately thought Tomomi would be perfect for the occasion.
Tomomi sweatdropped and grinned nervously. "No, I'm banned."
"WHAT?!" Mirio and Midoriya exclaimed in shock. Eri just blinked at them, confused as to why they were yelling indoors. "WHY WOULD THEY BAN YOU?!"..
"Apparently, I'm too pretty." She explained, shrugging. "I went with Kendo-chan to her practice the other day and she asked the coordinator if it was okay if I joined in. She gave me one look and said 'You're too beautiful, you'd be a huge disadvantage to the other contestants.' "
Now, it was Mirio and Midoriya's turn to sweatdrop. That reason seemed...unfair, to say the least. But they couldn't help but agree to it. Tomomi wouldn't have to do anything but smile and she would win. So they could see why she was banned.
'There is such a thing as being too pretty...'
In the course of a week, Tomomi juggled with practicing for the performance and helping the cheerleaders with their baking. They were doing a dessert cafe for the festival and because Tomomi was a part of the team, she had to help the captain Desiree with the baking and setting up. So she didn't have much time for herself.
Today was sort of a free day and she had questions about her quirk. So after classes ended for the day, she stayed behind to talk to Aizawa about it.
"Mr. Aizawa?" Tomomi knocked on the open classroom door, hoping she didn't wake him or anything.
Aizawa was grading papers when he heard Tomomi's delicate voice in his left ear. "Yes, Tomomi?"
"I have a question about my quirk." She mumbled, closing the door behind her. "Actually...It's better if I show you."
Aizawa, sensing that she was being serious, stopped what he was doing and gave her his attention. "Okay...?"
Tomomi walked over to his desk and stuck out one of her hands. Immediately, She allowed a small ball of ice fire to erupt from her hand. An action that made Aizawa's eyes widen a little. This was very new. When was she able to do this?
"What is this?" He asked, examining it.
Tomomi shrugged, looking at it. "I don't know...It doesn't hurt at all."
Aizawa hummed as he picked up a pencil. Slowly, he stuck the pencil into the fire and watched as it rapidly turned to dry ice, crumbling into nothing afterwards. It seemed like this fire wasn't hot but below zero degrees. Ironic but fascinating.
But it made him wonder. How exactly did he escape Chisaki? It wasn't a coincidence that they ran into her during that raid. She had to have gotten out somehow.
"Hmmmm...it seems like it's a new ability." Aizawa mumbled to her. "Tell me exactly what happened before the raid, Tomomi. If you need my help, I have to know everything."
Tomomi let the fire disappear before she looked at him sheepishly. "Well..."
That ended kind of serious, ngl.
But anyways, now you know what
Nighteye saw before he died.
The performance is coming soon!
I'm excited but sad. This book is
ending in one more chapter.

Hey everyone! This is the
very last chapter of Frost Bite.
I decided to skip the whole
Gentleman Criminal fiasco
because i wanted to give Tomomi
a break from crime fighting.
Also, she's still kind of recovering
from using Zero Degrees. A new form
of hers. So she can't fight anyone right now.
I want to thank you all for sticking
through this entire book with me,
the love you have for Tomomi and her
story is more than what I have ever
imagined when I got this idea and
I cannot thank all of you enough.
seriously, thank you so much for
everything you all have done for
this book and I appreciate you all
completely.
happy reading for the last time!
It was the morning of the School Festival and everyone rushed around in high spirits. Class A will be starting their performance at 10 am, then Class B will have their play performance, then lunch, and then the school's beauty pageant will begin. Of course, there will be fun mini games around, snacks and music all throughout the entire time there. Like a school carnival, really.
Tomomi was excited. She really was. But as soon as she got to the peak of the crowd outside, she nearly made it snow backstage. Clutching her mic, she felt nervousness creep into her veins as she began wondering just how many people were really anticipating this performance.
"Hey, Avalanche." Kirishima called as he noticed his icy friend near the curtains. "We're about to start, Jirou wants all of us to get into places and-"
He stopped when he noticed said girl fiddling with her fingers and microphone. She looked extremely nervous and anxious. And it concerned him. She can fight in front of a crowd of a thousand people with no effort but when it comes to singing, it terrified her.
"You doing okay, sweets?" He asked comfortingly, walking over to her.
Tomomi suddenly noticed him as he leaned against a wooden post next to her. The stage was outside so the structure was different. "O-oh, Kiri-chan!" She said, noticing his presence. "My apologies, I didn't know I was standing here too long."
"You look anxious," He said carefully. "You're over here, shaking like a leaf. And it feels a little colder, now that I think about it."
She sighed, trying to gain back control over her quirk. As the sunny air came back, Tomomi ran her fingers through her curled hair. Courtesy of Mina. "I guess I'm scared of messing up." She admitted shyly, rubbing her bare arm. "It's ridiculous, honestly...At the Sports Festival, I was fine with talking in front of thousands of people. I was even okay with fighting...But no one has ever heard me sing before and...I guess I'm scared to do so."
Kirishima nodded. He understood her, completely. It's easy to block out people when you're in the middle of a fight but having to actually acknowledge a crowd of people. Filled with pro-heroes, students and teachers, it can mess up someone's mental state. But that won't stop him from comforting his best friend.
"Hey, look at me." He spoke softly, placing both hands on her shoulders. Tomomi raised her head to look up at him. Kirishima gave her a comforting smile. "You'll do great out there. You've been practicing like hell this past month and you've been through a lot, as well. I have no doubt in my mind that you will help us rock this place to the ground."
Tomomi's eyes widened as she suddenly felt warmness fill her up. The nerves were almost gone and it was all because of Kirishima's words. So, instinctively, she tackled him in a big hug. Her arms wrapped around his waist as her face was buried in his chest.
Kirishima was shocked, slightly. But he smiled softly as he hugged her back, placing one of his hands on top of her head. He was happy to help out his friends in any way he could. And he felt accomplished in knowing that he did that for Tomomi.
"Hey, you guys!" Jirou suddenly appeared, "Come on! We're about to start! Everyone's looking for you two! Tomo-chan, you gotta get up to the mic stand! Let's go!"
The two pulled away with smiles. Kirishima signaled to her that they were coming before looking back at his white haired friend. "Are you ready to rock, Avalanche?" He asked, holding up his balled up fist.
Tomomi smiled as she bumped her fist with his, "Ready, Red Riot!"
Outside, the crowd of students and teachers all gathered in anticipation of the much talked about performance as everyone on stage got into their places. Aizawa and Mic stood with Mirio, who hoisted Eri up on his shoulder, talking among themselves.
"Now, I really want to know how this will go." Aizawa mumbled, noticing the mixed reactions in the crowd.
Some students showed visible excitement. Some were grumbling and murmuring harsh words about the class. And he was no stranger to it. The events that happened in the past marked his class as the scapegoats for it. Everyone has blamed them for Villains attacking the school on multiple occasions and he didn't think it was fair at all. It wasn't anyone's fault that villains are deranged individuals. And it wasn't his class's fault that they were targeted by it.
But more so, he was more worried about Tomomi. Considering the fact that her body was still recovering from stopping Chisaki, he wondered if she should really be on stage at all. Of course, he would never want to stop her from having fun but...Still...He wouldn't be a good teacher if he didn't worry about his students.
"You're thinking too hard, Aizawa." Hizashi, aka Present Mic, interrupted his thoughts with a knowing grin. "She'll be fine. Miss Todoroki is a big girl. If she didn't think she would be able to do this, she wouldn't be on stage now."
Aizawa folded his arms and grumbled. He hated it when Hizashi could tell what he was thinking. They have been friends for way too long, he believes. But he appreciated that he cared, anyways. Hizashi was a great friend.
"I'm not worried," He lied, keeping his eyes on the stage.
But his loud friend knew better. He was. He just wasn't the type to admit it, flat out. So he left it alone as the lights had gone out. The performance was about to start.
And there Tomomi was, center stage, in front of a mic as everyone suddenly began chanting her name.
"TOMOMI! TOMOMI! TOMOMI! TOMOMI!" the crowd of students chanted. It was mainly male students. Her beauty, alone, already captured their favor and hearts.
Tomomi took a deep breath as she looked around the crowd. She spotted both of her teachers in the back, she saw Mirio smiling at her. But it wasn't until her eyes landed on Eri. Who looked back at her with curiosity and excitement in her big red eyes.
For some reason, looking at her made her want to give out the best performance ever. Because she would do anything to see that same little girl smile. She wanted to erase the painful past she has been through and show her that she was not alone anymore. Eri had Tomomi. And for as long as she lived, Tomomi will always be there for Eri.
Tomomi smiled at her, thinking to herself. This one's for you, Eri...
As soon as the music started, Tomomi lost herself in the performance. Which helped a lot. Everyone loved it. Tomomi's singing really pulled together the song perfectly, everyone played their parts perfectly. Everything felt fun and wholesome.
Eri's eyes widened as Tomomi sang along to the lyrics in complete awe. Her voice was beautiful and she looked so pretty on stage. She didn't notice this but...her lips suddenly started curving upwards. It was slow but it was happening.
And for the first time ever in her life, Eri smiled. She smiled brightly and couldn't help but cheer with the crowd as she watched the pretty effects all around her and as she watched Tomomi smile right back at her...
No one else really noticed this but Mirio, who couldn't help but get emotional at the scene. Eri was smiling. She was really smiling. Like, this wasn't a dream at all! It was happening! And that's all he and Midoriya have ever wanted for her.
And it was all thanks to the girl on center stage and the class that put together this amazing performance.
After the performance, the students of Class A were immediately surrounded by other students, who were praising them for such a stellar concert.
"Tomomi, you were so pretty up there!" one female student gushed.
"Your voice is so pretty~!"
"Please tell us how you get so pretty~!"
"We must know your beauty secrets~!"
As appreciative as she was of their compliments, she nervously smiled at them while sweatdropping. She didn't have an answer for their questions at all. So she was stuck just thanking them for enjoying the show.
But it wasn't until the male students appeared around her, asking for a date with her that really got her to feel overwhelmed.
"Tomomi, please go on the ferris wheel with me!"
"What?! No! Tomomi, please date me!"
"No, date me!"
"Uh..."Tomomi stuttered out, waving her hands at them. "That's not such a-"
"Piss off, you pathetic extras!" Bakugou's voice suddenly interrupted them.
Behind Tomomi was the shadowy figure of Katsuki Bakugou. He looked menacing with his psychotic smile on his face as he loomed over his girlfriend. "Talk to my girlfriend again and you will be seeing the inside of your stomach!" He threatened crazily.
The small group of students all turned white before screaming and running away. Tomomi sighed, feeling relief as she could breathe again. She was not a fan of people looming over her like that. Even if they were just complimenting her.
Tomomi turned to her boyfriend and smiled at him softly. "Oh, my hero~" She swooned, standing on her toes to plant a kiss on his cheek.
Bakugou froze as soon as she kissed his face. He blushed red as he felt shy, all of a sudden. "YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I HATE YOUR SNEAK ATTACKS! STOP IT!" He yelled at her.
But she didn't care as she giggled while circling her arms around his and leaning her head in his chest. "You know how to make me feel safe with you, my love." She mumbled, leaning into him.
Bakugou calmed down and looked at his cute girlfriend. He couldn't stay mad at her and she was probably the only person he couldn't stay mad at. So he scoffed a little, pulled his arm back and wrapped it around her shoulders. Hugging her fully.
"And you really know how to knock the anger out of a man, Frost Bite." He retorted, causing her to giggle once more.
She turned her head to look up at him with a smile. And just before the couple could kiss, someone interrupted their moment.
"Big Sister~!" it was a little girl's voice. Tomomi immediately recognized her voice as she turned to the source.
The couple saw Eri running ahead of Mirio with her arms outstretched and a bright smile on her face. Her eyes shined with excitement and awe as she jumped into her arms.
Tomomi quickly caught the little girl, holding her up and allowing her to hug her body. "Wait...Big sister?" She realized what she called her. She thought of her as her sister...And she was smiling!
Tomomi felt her heart becoming heavy as tears began to build up in her eyes. Eri pulled her head back to look at her. But as soon as she saw Tomomi's tears running down her face, she felt worried. But she was smiling, as well. So she was okay, right?
"Why are you crying, big sister?" Eri asked, placing her hands on her face gently.
Tomomi smiled at her through her happy tears as she pet the back of her hair. She looked at Eri with much love and care, it was hard to not recognize how much she really cared for the little girl.
"I'm happy, Eri." She answered, leaning her forehead onto hers. "I'm just so happy, right now."
Eri's smile returned to her small face as she leaned in closer to her. "I'm happy, too~!"
The scene honestly looked like a moment between a mother and her daughter to everyone that paid attention. And it got Bakugou thinking. What would life be like if he was married to her? If he had kids with her and had a home with her? He sure as hell hoped it felt like the scene in front of him. Warm, wholesome and happy.
And considering what she's been through, Tomomi deserved a moment of normalcy. She deserved to feel happy. In fact, she deserved everything in the world. And Bakugou was going to give her the world.
Though everything isn't perfect, lord knows he's far from that, it was comforting to know that even someone like him could have someone like her to love. It made him think...Maybe, he wasn't so unlovable after all.
Tomomi had taught him a lot about himself since they first met. She has taught him that it is okay to ask for help. It's okay to feel love and to be loved. But most importantly, she taught him what self love was. Though she may not know that she did, Bakugou learned that it's okay to be weak and feel weak.
And he was slowly but surely, learning more as he continued to love her.
With a small grin on his face as he watched his classmates all talk and laugh, he couldn't help but think about all that they have been through together. And secretly, he felt closer to everyone in different ways due to the events of the past. Though, he wouldn't ever admit to it, didn't mean he didn't feel it.
He sure as hell felt it. And he hoped that this feeling would stick forever.
After everyone cleaned up the stage after their performance, they had the rest of the day to enjoy the festival. And that's exactly what they did.
Bakugou and Kirishima started competing in a lot of the physical contests together, with Tomomi and Mina acting as their cheerleaders each time. Nejire won the beauty pageant, which Tomomi was extremely happy about.
Everyone had fun. It was all smiles and laughter throughout the entire day. At some point, the girls had to meet up with Desiree, their cheer captain, to help out with the dessert cafe the cheerleaders made for the festival and it was a hit. The most popular food stop in all of the festival.
They like to think Tomomi had something to do with the gain in popularity. Because as soon as she was dressed in their cute pink and white maid uniform, which was what they had to wear, students flocked the cafe so much, they had to use a waiting list.
( basically, it looks like this. )
"Welcome to the UA Dessert Cafe~!" Tomomi greeted, bowing diligently to a table of male students. "I will be your hostess for your visit~ Would you like to start off with drinks?"
The four male students were caught in a daze as they stared at her. Their eyes were heart shaped and they were smiling like lovesick puppies.
"So cute~" they mumbled in unison.
"What do you recommend~?" one of them asked in a love high.
Tomomi thought for a second with her knuckle up to her lips. "Hmmmm...I do recommend the caramel latte with chocolate flakes on top. It's really delicious and it goes well with Momo-chan's chocolate cake~"
"We'll have four of those!" One of them immediately shouted. "And we'll buy the entire cake~!"
Tomomi blinked for a moment, surprised that she got yet another big purchase today. It seemed to be happening a lot as she worked around the clock. She would greet customers, they would ask for her recommendation, she would recommend them something off the menu and it will sell out almost immediately. Everyone in UA must have really liked their baking.
She was happy that their hard work didn't go to waste. And that they were raising a lot of money. That money is going to help a lot of unfortunate kids in the city.
She wrote down their order and smiled at them with her eyes closed and her head tilted to the side a bit. "Thank you for your purchase~ You are helping an amazing cause~"
"I don't think Tomo-chan realizes that they don't care about donating." Jirou chuckled as she walked by with a tray of cocoa in hand. "They're only here because she looks cute."
"Who could blame them? The uniform does look extra cute on her." Mina said with a smile as she placed an order sheet on a metal counter. Sato and a few other male students were baking in the back for them.
"Oh well, we can say that it's for a wonderful cause." Momo smiled, holding a tray of cupcakes in hand. "And we are raising a lot of money, too."
After the festival and after everyone cleaned up around their stations, night time came. Eri gave a sad goodbye to Tomomi and Midoriya as she was being taken home by Aizawa. Who UA decided to place custody on. So really they were going home together.
But to cheer her up, Midoriya gave her a candy apple. Which might have started something. He probably became the reason she was soon going to be a sugar addict. But oh well, she's a kid. Let her have her fun.
After everyone got cleaned and dressed for bed, the common room was deserted due to everyone retreating back into their dorms for the night. The day was so fun-filled, it tired everyone out and they couldn't wait to go to sleep.
Tomomi sat in her dorm room, finishing her manga at her desk before she fell asleep. She began to think that maybe one day, she could publish her manga. But what should she name them?
She had to think of a name before she thought that far ahead, first.
Suddenly, there was a knock on her door. Frowning, she closed her manga and turned off her desk light. Who could that be? It was 10 at night. Everyone fell asleep already. But nonetheless, she walked over and opened her door.
To her shock, it was Bakugou. He was dressed in a black tank top and matching black sweatpants with house shoes on. His hair was slightly damped and slicked back, meaning he showered not too long ago.
"Katsuki-chan!" She said in surprise but was happy to see him. "How are you even here? You could get in trouble, you know."
"The cameras are down for the week." Bakugou shrugged as he walked into her dorm. "And Iida is snoring up a storm over on our side. Soundproof, my ass."
Tomomi closed and locked her door before turning to see that he was already in her bed. She couldn't help but smile a little as he quickly got comfortable in her blankets. "So you sought out my help for your sleepless night?"
"Are you gonna stop me?" Bakugou looked at her with a cocky smile as he lifted her blanket. "Come in. I'm tired and it's the weekend tomorrow. We can go to the movies tomorrow night."
She walked over to her bed and climbed in, immediately snuggling in his hold as he wrapped both arms around her body. She rested her head under his chin and basked in the warmth he provided to her forever cold body. It felt nice and comforting. The moon that shined through her balcony was the only source of light for them.
Just before she fell asleep completely, she mumbled under her breath, "I...love you, Katsuki-chan..."
Then she was out like a candle. Her breathing was steady and her consciousness cleared.
Bakugou smiled a bit, playing with a strand of her hair before getting comfortable in her blankets. He moved a piece of her hair from her face and placed a soft kiss on her forehead.
"Love you, too...Frost bite."
It's official...this is the end
I'm actually feeling very emotional
right now. Like, honestly...I never
ever thought this book would ever
be this popular on here.
But I was pleasantly proven wrong
by all of you. So again...thank you
so much for all of your support and
love.
Seeing you all love Tomomi was what
kept me from giving up on this book
and seeing you all express how much
you liked it has helped me so much.
With that being said, this isn't a permanent
goodbye, but see you later.
I will see you all in book two...
Remember, I love you and you deserve to
be loved. Don't ever let anyone tell you
otherwise.
Stay safe, everyone!
