"Why do we have so many messages?! Seriously?!" X asked, quickly swiping his finger up on the tablet in his hand.
"Relax, X, we have fans!" Axl squeezed in, strutting in with his twin pistols in his hands, "You know, supporters! They LOVE us! I knew that I was famous! Now-where-are-the messages-for-me-and-me only?!"
He tried to take a look at the tablet, only for Zero to shove his face to the side.
"Down, boy! Lemme look!"
The red Reploid sifted through the endless amount of messages "Dear Zero, how in the HEC-K… dunno why they put emphasis on HECK here, but okay-"
"Wait, why did they do that?" X asked.
"I really don't know."
"Bro! Can you get on with it?!" Axl asked, popping in between the two.
SHOVE! The boy even let out a short holler in response.
"Anyway!" Zero continued, "How in the HECK do you swing your saber without cutting your hair? Do you even have all your strands? That's crazy!"
"… Now that I think about it… how DO you manage to keep your hair together? I never saw it damaged before," X chimed in, with a finger to his chin.
"I guess I'm just that good, I don't know," Zero said nonchalantly, shrugging.
"Funny question to get, though."
"I could've SWORN I saw some strands fly off whenever you swing! Like, there is no way you don't cut your hair by accident! I need to see it live!" His eyes widened at the saber mantled onto Zero's back.
"Seriously?" Zero asked.
"Listen. I'm an observer. Curiosity killed the cat, not my guns! I wanna see some work!"
"Would a demonstration really hurt? I just don't want him to damage anything," X added.
"Fine, fine. Lemme get this over with."
In the blink on an eye, the beam wielder swiped his weapon two and fro. The swings were so fast that he might as well created winds!
"It's like a light show! I should turn the lights off!" Axl said in excitement.
"Man, I can never use that thing right…" X said, thinking back to the time he wielded his friend's saber before. He could only throw out simple swings, nothing too impressive, unfortunately.
Finalizing his light show, Zero sheathed the saber onto his back. "Anyways! It's not that hard, it's only-"
He turned to look at his friends and paused in the middle of his speech, seeing their widened eyes.
"… Guys?"
A moment of silence passed, before strands of blonde hair began to fall from above. Zero checked behind him to see that half of his ponytail was shaved off, with burn marks indicating the saber was at fault.
"It's not that hard, huh?" Axl asked, looking at the raining strands with his hands on his hips.
"Don't!" Zero shouted, stomping his foot into the ground, which sounded off in the room of the headquarters.
