Episode 133: As Cold as Pryce

Finally, Mew and her friends have arrived in Mahogany Town, where Mew hopes to earn her next gym badge to compete in the Johto League. However, Mew and her friends have a serious problem. Mew is holding Celebi in her arms as they walk to the gym.

"I wonder what's wrong with Celebi," Misty says, worried.

"She's been like this since what happened at the lake," Tomo says.

"And she's too nervous to talk," Jen says.

"And refused to go back in her Pokeball," Brock says.

Mew looks at Celebi, "I wonder what's wrong… hmmm…"

Sometime later, Mew and her friends arrived at the Gym.

Mew calls out, "Hello? I'm here for my gym battle!"

So far, no one is answering.

"Well?" Tomo questions.

"There isn't anyone around," Misty says.

"That doesn't make sense," Brock replies.

Suddenly, someone calls out, "Hey, there."

Everyone looks to the left and sees a woman wearing an orange and red striped bandana and red overalls nearby.

"Just asking, but are ya'll here for a gym battle?" The woman asks.

"Yes, ma'am," Mew answers.

"Sorry, but the gym leader's not here at the moment," The woman says, "His name's Pryce and I'm Sheila. Pryce goes up to the mountains every morning to meditate underneath the waterfall."

"Wow, that's impressive, to set aside time to strengthen your mind," Brock says.

"You said it," Sheila asks.

"Do you think we could meet him?" Mew asks.

"Sure, I'll take you up to the waterfall myself," Sheila says.

"You really mean it?" Mew asks.

"How cool is that?" Brock says.

Mew nods in agreement, "Thanks a lot, Sheila."

However, everyone looks and sees Sheila MILES down the road ahead of them.

Sheila calls out, "Yoo-hoo! Let's go! Step on it! Hurry up! Kick it!"

Everyone is baffled to see her miles away.

"How did she do that?" Jen asks.

"I wonder what SHE had for breakfast," Brock says.

"We better go follow her," Mew says.

Meanwhile, Team Rocket spies from behind the wall surrounding the gym

"I just knew that if we waited at the gym long enough, they'd show up," Jessie says.

"You're right again, Jess," James says

"Well, den, let's tail em!" Meowth says.

"Check," Jessie and James reply.

Meanwhile, Mew and the others follow Sheila as she nimbly leads the group to Pryce's location, though they're already exhausted.

"Sheila is one energetic woman!" Brock says.

"I'm really tired," Molly says.

Mew weakly calls out, "Wait up."

"Please slow down," Misty says.

Sheila continues on, "Ha! Well I'm just getting warmed up! You turtles better step on the gas!"

"I'm outta gas." Tomo says.

"Skwovet," (Same as the rest of us.) Skwovet replies.

Sometime later, Sheila comes to a stop.

Sheila sighs, "Phew! I just love a morning run!"

She soon sees and hears our heroes in a bit of agony.

"Ow, my legs!" Brock says.

"My knees!" Jen says.

"My everything!" Misty says.

"It's not easy keeping up with me. You want Pryce, he's over yonder," Sheila says.

The group looks to see him meditating under the waterfall, and to Mew and the others' shock, they realize who the man is. Celebi is especially shocked and becomes petrified again.

Mew says in shock, "Wait a second! We met that guy!"

Then Mew remembers what he has said before, "Being friends with Pokémon? How naïve. Humans and Pokémon are not meant to become friends."

"I never would've guessed that old guy is a gym leader," Brock says.

"He's not only old, but he's crabby as well," Misty says.

"And mean," Molly says.

"Well since he's the gym leader, I need to ask him for a gym battle," Mew says.

Celebi then panics, "No no no." and hides inside Mew's bag, startling the group.

"Celebi…?" Mew questions, "Are you okay?"

"She doesn't look good," Brock says.

Mew says in thought, "This is the second time she reacted like that." She then turns to Pryce, "Come to think of it, she reacted the first time we saw him…"

Meanwhile, Team Rocket shows up, completely wiped out

"Well, that's enough exercise for the rest of my life," Jessie says.

They quickly spot Mew with Sheila walking over to Pryce, the Gym Leader.

"A twoips plus one," Mew says.

"Who's that fellow in the falls?" James asks.

Soon enough, the two ladies approach Pryce.

"Hey, Pryce. This kid wants a gym battle with you," Sheila says.

"Hi there, it's uh, nice to meet you again. It's an honor to meet the gym leader of Mahogany Town. Pryce, I'm Mew from Pallet Town," Mew says. "And I like to battle you for a Glacier badge."

"I remember you," Pryce says. And I see you've still got your Pikachu and Eevee out."

"Yeah. Pikachu, Eevee, and I are really good buddies," Mew says with a big smile.

Byt Pryce says, "Ridiculous. A battle with you would be pointless."

"What? Why? How would you even know that without a battle?" Mew asks.

"Simple. In order to keep one's Pokémon in top fighting form, they must always be tense and on edge. But if you become emotionally involved with your Pokémon, it's that emotion that can cloud your battling judgment and cause you to make bad, dumb decisions," Pryce says.

"You're wrong! Pokémon and humans need to understand each other and be good friends so they can work together and battle at their best," Mew angrily says.

"Well, then, I'll just have to prove you wrong," Pryce says.

Then calls out, "Dewgong, go!"

And Dewgong comes out.

"Do you really think you can beat both of us in battle?" Pryce questions.

"You mean I can have a gym battle if I can beat you two?" Mew questions.

"Correct," Pryce says.

"Works for me," Mew says

But before she can do anything, Pink Celebi flies out, grabs Mew by her wrist, and begins to pull her away.

"Wait, Celebi?!" Mew calls out, being dragged away, "Where are we going? Celebi?!"

Pink Celebi says, "Come on, Mew. Let's leave. We can head somewhere else for a gym battle instead."

"But Celebi…" Mew questions.

Celebi begs, "Please don't battle him. Please…"

Seeing the Celebi, Pryce is shocked to see that it can talk. He simply calls back Dewgong while everyone is distracted and begins walking away without a second thought.

Mew notices Pryce leaving, and calls out, "Wait, Pryce! Where are you going?"

Pryce stops, and soon mutters, "I'm sorry…" and continues walking off.

"What?" Mew says, confused.

Mew then gasps in realization, "No… It… It can't be…"

Mew sighs and says, "Celebi, please let go."

Pink Celebi looks reluctant, but decides to do just that.

Mew then walks in the opposite direction.

"Where are you going?" Sheila asks.

"To find Pryce," Mew says, and runs off to catch up with him, Pikachu and Eevee do the same.

"Wait Mew!" Celebi cries out and chases after her.

"Hold on! It's not safe to go into these mountains alone!" Seila calls out.

But Mew and her Pokemon run off.

"Oh, brother. There they go again," James says.

"Then, here we go again," James says.

"Right!" the boys agree.

Meanwhile, Mew and her Pokemon follow Pryce.

"Pryce. Please slow down for a second. I need to talk to you," Mew calls out.

Suddenly, Pikachu calls out, "Pika Pi!" (Mew!)

"Eevee!" (Mew!) Eevee calls out.

"Mew!" Celebi calls out.

Mew turns her head, "Pikachu? Eevee? Celebi? Where you go?"

It's revealed that Pikachu, Eevee, and Celebi got lost, along with Team Rocket.

James calls out, "Yoo-hoo! Jessie?! Hello?" Then ducks into the bush he poked his head out of as Jessie pops up from the same bush.

Jessie calls out, "James, where are you?"

Meowth climbs up a tree, "Stop playing dese games."

"Hey. Didn't I just hear Meowth talking?" James questions."

Meanwhile…

"I can't see a thing through these trees," Mew says.

She suddenly hears Jessie's voice, "Now see this!"

Mew looks back as Team Rocket makes their move.

Jessie:

Prepare for trouble!

James:

And make it double!

Jessie realizes James is next to her:

Oh! Hello.

James realizes Jessie is next to him:

Hi.

"Team Rocket?" Mew questions.

Soon, Pikachu, Eevee, and Celebi appear from the trees and bushes.

Soon, Team Rocket are dressed in safari gear and holding nets.

Jessie:

To protect the world from woodland pests!

James:

To capture creatures from their nests!

Jessie:

To ensnare Pikachu in my net!

James:

And anything else we can get!

Jessie:

Jessie!

James:

James!

Jessie:

Team Rocket grabs the goods at the speed of the light!

James:

Surrender to me, give up trying to flee, or we'll fight!

Meowth:

Meowth, dat's right!

Wobbuffet:

Wobbuffet!

(We gotcha!)

Dumbfounded, Celebi asks, "Why are they in hunting gear?"

"They want to capture you with Pikachu and Eevee, and that's never going to happen," Mew says.

"Pika Pika!" (Not in your lives!) Pikachu says.

"Eevee Eevee!" (Not in a million years!) Eevee adds.

"Nevah say nevah, my friend," Meowth says.

"Yeah!" Jessie and James agree.

Wobbuffet suddenly trips, causing Team Rocket to trip with it as they go rolling past before crashing into a rock.

"Not part of the plan," Team Rocket says.

"Peel me off the rock," Jessie cries out in pain.

"Come on, guys! Let's get out of here!" Mew says.

Then she and her Pokemon hurry off and past Team Rocket. Soon enough, they end up reaching the edge of a cliff.

"Woah. That's a big drop," Mew says.

"Eevee," (A big one.) Eevee says.

"I can't even see the bottom," Celebi says.

Team Rocket shows up behind him as Jessie chuckles.

"Nowhere to run," James says.

Now kindly hand over your Pokemon and we'll be on our way.

But before Mew can do anything…

"Hold it!" A familiar voice calls out.

Everyone looks as Pryce shows up.

"What kind of total idiots would forcibly steal another's Pokémon?" Pryce demands.

"Pryce," Mew says, surprised.

"Well, how many kinds are there?" James asks.

"Back off. Mind your own business," Jessie says.

"Besides, we're da smart kind of idiots," Meowth says.

"Yeah!" Jessie and James agree.

Jessie calls out, "Weezing, Smokescreen!"

Weezing launches the attacking, blinding Mew and the Pokemon.

Pryce grabs Mew's arm, "Quick, Mew, come with me!"

"Okay," Mew calls out.

Suddenly, the ground breaks beneath their feet, sending them plummeting into the chasm.

Celebi flies down and uses her Psychic powers to save Pryce, Mew, and the others. And soon enough, they all reach safely on the ground.

Mew turns to Celebi, "Thanks Celebi."

"You're welcome," Celebi says.

But becomes nervous seeing Pryce and hides behind Mew again. Pryce however stares at Mew and Celeb. Mew does the same.

Back up on the top of the cliff…

"Well, as good Team Rocket members, we should follow them," Jessie says.

"But it's so far down," Meowth says.

"Meowth, you're the one who told me to give em the Great Weezing Smoke Out," James says.

Meowth angrily shouts, "And would you jump off a bridge if I told you to?! Huh?!"

"Probably not!" James argues.

"Would, too!" Meowth argues.

"Knock it off. Act your age and not your shoe size," Jessie shouts.

Soon, the rest of the gang show up.

"Team Rocket?!" Brock questions.

"Why are you three sitting on a cliff and arguing?" Misty asks.

"Did you happen to see Ash, Pikachu, Eevee, and Celebi?" Tomo asks.

Jessie and James panic, "Us?! Of course we haven't! And we sure aren't! Toodles!" and run off.

Meowth is left high and dry.

He soon panics, "Me? I don't know nuttin about no twoip or no Pikachu or Eevee, no or Celebi, no dat old man or dat dey dis here cliff."

"What, Meowth?!" Meowth demands.

"Uh," Meowth nervously chuckles, "Gotta blast," and runs off.

Everyone looks down into the chasm.

Misty calls out, "Hey, Mew!"

"Pikachu!" Brock calls out.

"Eevee!" Jen calls out.

"Celebi!" Molly calls out.

"Hey, Pryce!" Sheila calls out.

"Is anyone down there?!" Tomo calls out.

But all that they hear are their echoes.

"Phew! I'd say that sure is some nasty drop," Sheila says.

"We've gotta go help them," Misty says.

"Right," Tomo says.

"But how?" Jen asks.

Soon, Sheila says, "Hey, there's a small gully over there that we can climb down."

Down at the bottom of the chasm, Mew is comforting Celebi who is still kind of scared.

"It's okay, Celebi. It's okay," Mew says.

Pryce remains silent, but soon speaks up, "So, your Celebi seems shooken up, huh."

"Yeah, but I know she'll feel better soon," Mew says.

Then Mew asks, "So Pryce, what do you like to do?"

"Well, just a matter of knowing the right herbs to use," Pryce says.

"Sounds cool," Mew says.

Then Pryce says, "But, you know, I should be thanking you for the way you and your Pokemon reacted in a truly stressful scene."

"You're welcome. But I really owe it all to Celebi. The only reason I knew what to do so quickly is because we're always playing together all the time. Same with all my Pokemon.

"Well, Mew, perhaps you just might have something there. But as close as you are to them, you still have to maintain strict discipline in battle," Pryce says.

"Oh you," Mew says, rolling her eyes.

Mew then sighs, "Hey Pryce… I think I know why Celebi has been scared…"

"Hmmm…?" Pryce questions.

"It's because of you, huh. And I think you know as well…" Mew says.

Pryce sighs and understands where this is going.

"Celebi remembers you from a long time ago…" Mew says with a firm expression.

Then brings out the GS Ball, "And I believe you're the one who caught Celebi all those years ago."

Pryce sighs and says, "Yes. I did… It was a very very long time ago…"

Meanwhile, over at the gully Sheila saw….

"He may not look it, but once upon a time, Pryce was a happy go lucky guy. He always loved to train and play with his Pokemon. Why, they were just about as close as family, maybe closer," Sheila says.

"Wow! What happened?" Brock asks.

Sheila sighs, "Now everyone calls him 'icy' Pryce."

"Why is that?" Misty asks.

"He got that nickname a long time ago, from treating his Pokémon so icy cold and also cause he started specializing in ice types. One memory sticks in my mind," Sheila explains, sadly.

"What memory?" Brock asks.

"Yeah, Sheila, tell us," Misty asks.

Sheila finishes tying the rope and asks, "Now, who's going first?"

Brock and Misty chuckles sheepishly. Jen and Molly also feel uneasy about it.

Tomo raised his hand, "Can I go?"

"Well, how about you let me go first and you can come in after. I'll tell the story from down there. Here goes nothing!" Sheila says and jumps down the gully, "Yahoo!"

Everyone is left in shock from it.

Down in the chasm…

Mew and Pryce are trying to find a way out of the cave, and discuss Mew's interrogation. Celebi continues to remain close.

Mew is not pleased to hear Pryce's confession, "So you really were the one who trapped Celebi all those years ago."

"Afraid so," Pryce says, "I have no intention of keeping it. I only wanted to use Celebi's time travel powers."

"Her Time Traveling Powers?" Mew questions. "Why?"

Suddenly, Eevee says, "Eevee Eevee!" (Hey guys!)

Everyone turns to Eevee who is standing in front of the boulder.

"Eevee Eevee Eevee!" (I think there's a tunnel behind this boulder!) Eevee says.

"Really? Are you sure?" Mew asks.

Eevee nods in reply.

"Then that could lead a way out," Mew says.

Celebi stands in front, "I'll move it."

Celebi then hides her Psychic powers to lift the boulder and moves it out of the way, revealing the tunnel.

"Wow. There is one," Mew says.

Then turns to Pryce, "Do you know where this leads?"

"I've only been down here once before," Pryce says.

Suddenly, Pikachu notices something, "Pika Pi!" (Mew! Look there!)

"What's up, Pikachu?" Mew asks.

They look forward to it to notice something.

"There's something on the ground," Celebi says.

She flies over and picks it up, revealing to see some kind of anklet.

"Oh my," Pryce asks, surprised and rushes over.

He then asks, "May I see that?"

Celebi shyly nods and gives him the anklet. Pryce picks it up and instantly recognizes it.

"What's wrong? Have you seen that thing before?" Mew asks.

"Yes. This anklet once belonged to my Piloswine," Pryce says.

"Your Piloswine?" Celebi questions.

"Wonder how it got here," Mew says.

Meanwhile, Sheila tells the rest of the gang how Pryce got his nickname.

Sheila explains, "Pryce used to have a Piloswine that he treated like family. Until, one day, it just up and left."

"That's sad," Brock says.

"Poor guy," Misty says.

"Since then, Pryce just can't bear to be close at all to any of his Pokémon," Misty says.

Back to Mew and Pryce…

Pryce explains his story, "Long ago, I was like you, Ash, and I loved all of my Pokémon like they were my family. And we also battled together heart to heart.

Flashback:

Pryce at a younger age and is having a Pokemon Battle with his Piloswine.

Pryce (flashback)" I'm right with you all the way, Piloswine! Yeah! Let's go! Take Down, now!

Piloswine charges in and nails a Nidoking.

Pryce: (V.O.) Fury Attack!

Piloswine hits a Golem with said attack as Pryce speaks.

Pryce: Now, show em your Blizzard!

The attack launches and nails an Ursaring before freezing it.

Pryce: Super job!

Confetti soon falls on the duo.

Pryce continues to explain, "Piloswine and I battled so well and so often that, before long, we had defeated every opponent from miles around. Things couldn't have been better. But one day, we were entered into a national competition. We were up against Magmar which, as you know, is a fire type Pokemon, putting Piloswine at a disadvantage.

Piloswine stomps the ground, ready to battle despite the disadvantage.

Pryce: Ha. Raring to go, eh, Piloswine? Take Down, let's go!

Piloswine charges.

?: Flamethrower!

Magmar fires, nailing Piloswine.

Pryce: Piloswine!

?: Now finish it off with Fire Blast!

The attack charges

Pryce: Piloswine!" Runs up to protect it, "Oh no!"

Soon, both Pryce and Piloswine bandaged after what happened.

Pryce explains, "Not only did we lose the match, but I was burned over most of my body, and in great pain." Aloud; in flashback, "I'm sorry, Piloswine!"

Piloswine soon gets up and leaves in the middle of a blizzard.

Pryce: What? Piloswine, where are you going? Come back!

But Piloswine doesn't stop.

Pryce: I tried to protect you, and this is how you say thanks? By just leaving me all alone? Why, Piloswine, why?!" drops to his knees in tears, "Piloswine!"

Flashback End:

"From then on, I stopped treating Pokemon as friends and my time with them was business and that's all. And that's when people kindly gave me the nickname of 'icy' Pryce."

"I'm sorry to hear it," Mew says.

Even the Pokemon feel bad.

Then Pryce says, "Enough of this. Let's get going."

Deeper in the tunnel, they find everything all frozen. Mew and the others continue to head to the only place they can go.

"But why would Piloswine's anklet be down here of all places?" Celebi asks.

"I'm not. Maybe there's a reason why he came here," Mew says.

"Maybe," Pryce says.

Then Mew asks, "Pryce, why did you create that GS Ball? Why did you want to catch Celebi?"

Pryce sighs, "Trust me, I was foolish back then. After Piloswine left, I went to find it after I was healed. I guess part of me didn't want to give up on Piloswine. When I heard of Celebi and the power of time travel, I thought if I use Celebi's powers then… I don't really know what I was thinking…"

But Celebi understands, "You wanted to go back in time to save your and Piloswine's friendship?"

"Guess that's one way to put it," Pryce says.

"But how did you get that GS Ball made?" Mew asks.

"Well, I've read about the power of Ho-Oh and Lugia's feather. It was mainly sheer luck that I was able to obtain them, but never see the actual Pokemon. So I've asked someone to help me make nets and the Pokeball out of those feathers. However, I wanted to do it in secret so I wore a disguise to conceal my identity. You probably understand the rest because that ended up being a terrible mistake," Pryce says.

"Yeah. You used those to capture Celebi, and wanted to use it to travel through time, but the GS Ball couldn't open at all. And somehow, you lost it at later, it ended up on Valencia Island where my friends and I got it," Mew says.

"Yes. Despite how I was, I still felt terrible for catching a Pokemon and couldn't let it out again. It was wrong of me to catch Celebi without thinking of the consequences, same with creating that GS Ball," Pryce says

"So that what happened," Mew says, "But still, what you did was really bad? Celebi was trapped in that thing for years."

"I know. I doubt even an apology could help fix the damage I've done. I'm just glad that someone like you was able to find a way to set it free," Pryce says.

Celebi flies to Pryce and says, "Mr. Pryce, I'm sorry I got scared before. At first I thought you were a bad man, but you were really a trainer that was broken-hearted and desperate to save your friendship with your Pokemon. It may take some time to forgive you, but I can accept your apology." Sounding shy, but feel more comfortable, "If that's alright."

Pryce simply smiles and nods his head.

Mew soon notices something up ahead, "Look! Pryce, there's light coming from down there!"

And there is a light seen at the end of the tunnel.

"Great! Let's go find a place where we can climb out of here!" Pryce says.

"Okay!" Mew says.

At the end of the tunnel, they find a glistening ice cave.

"These rocks are covered with a thin layer of ice, which makes them sparkle like crystal!" Pryce says.

"It's not gonna be very easy climbing up these slippery rocks," Mew says.

Soon, the group spots something ahead.

Mew says, "Looks like there's something frozen in that ice!"

Pryce recognizes the shape, and is shocked, "It can't be!"

Can't be what?" Mew asks.

Pryce gets a closer look and finds that it's his Piloswine that's frozen.

"It's. My Piloswine," Pryce says, shocked and yet, relieved.

"Your Piloswine?" Celebi asks, shocked.

"Are you sure?" Mew asks.

Soon, Eevee notices something, "Eevee!" (Look there!)

Mew looks to where Eevee is looking, "It's holding something."

"Why, that's one of the herbs used for healing burns," Pryce says.

Suddenly, Pryce, Mew, and the Pokemon come to the same conclusion.

"Hey! I know!" Mew says, "Piloswine must've known that these herbs would help you, and came here to get em. But, it must have fallen down here when it was trying to get back. And Piloswine must have been frozen here this whole time.

Pryce is shocked, "You, did, all this, just for me?"

"Hey, you know what? Piloswine didn't leave you, it went to help you," Mew says.

Soon, Pryce, walks to his old friend and drops to his knees in remorse and tears, "I'm sorry. I should've known it. Please, forgive me, my friend. I. I'm so, so sorry! Piloswine!"

Mew and her Pokemon get teary-eyed at the touching moment.

Mew wipes away her tears, "Hey, Pryce. I think we should work on getting your Piloswine out of that ice."

Then calls out, "Cyndaquil, Flamethrower!"

And Cyndaquil begins to work on melting the ice until Piloswine is free.

"Alright, good work!" Mew says.

Then turns to Pikachu, "Pikachu, now use Thunder Shock."

Pikachu agrees, but it's not enough.

Mew says, "Eevee, help Pikachu out."

Eevee agrees and helps Pikachu out, and creates stronger electricity, but still nothing.

"It's not, working," Mew says in defeat.

"You tried. After all, Piloswine's been frozen for a long, long time," Pryce says.

But Mew says, "I, won't, give up!"

Suddenly, everyone sees Piloswine's nose start to move, shakes itself, and begins to wake up.

"Alright! Piloswine's waking up!" Mew says.

"Thank goodness," Celebi happily says.

"Oh my," Pryce says, and approaches Piloswine, "Piloswine, it's me. Remember?"

Piloswine confirms that it remembers.

"He remembers," Mew says.

"Even after all of these long and lonely years, you mean to say you still remember me?" Pryce says and soon hugs Piloswine with teary eyes, "Then it's true! Real friendships do go on and on forever!"

Piloswine agrees.

Everyone agrees.

Piloswine jumps with joy, but soon staggers.

"What's wrong?" Mew asks, worried.

"Not feeling quite up to snuff, are you?" Pryce asks his Pokemon.

Then says, "Let's use Rest."

Piloswine agrees and proceeds to heal itself via Rest.

"Guess after being frozen for a long time, his body needs time to function," Mew says.

"Wll Piloswine be okay," Celebi asks.

Pryce nods and says, "It's going to be just fine."

Pryce watches as his friend happily snoozes.

Just then, Pikachu notices something, "Pika?" (What's that?)

"What is it, Pikachu?" Mew asks.

"Pika Pika?" (Look over there.) Pikachu says.

Mew looks to notice some oval object near where Piloswine is. It is oval shaped, but it blends in with the ice, because of its shape and appearance.

Mew walks over and picks it up, "It's an Egg."

"Quite an unusual Egg," Pryce says.

Celebi leans her head against the Egg, "I can sense life in it. It may take some time, but I think it will hatch later on."

"Well then, it looks like we got a new friend," Mew says.

Meanwhile, the rest of the group are trying to find Mew and Pryce. Jen lets out Swinub and Molly lets out Mamoswine to pick up their scent.

Sheila calls out, "Hey, Pryce?!"

"Mew!" Misty calls out.

"Where are you?!" Brock calls out.

Everyone continues calling out for the group.

Soon, Swinub picks up Mew's Scent.

And right on cue, Mew, Pryce, and the others walk out.

"Hey!" Mew says.

The group happily says, "There's Ash!"

"Are you all okay, Pryce?" Sheila asks.

"Great! We're just great! And look! My Piloswine's okay as well!" Pryce says as Piloswine comes out.

Everyone is shocked.

"Well, I'll be!" Sheila says, shocked.

"Is that the same one you were telling us about?" Misty asks.

"Piloswine," Sheila happily sas and kneels down to it, "Do you remember your old pal? It's me, Sheila. Do you remember?"

Piloswine nods.

"This is great! It's just a miracle!" Sheila says.

"Yes, it truly is," Pryce says.

Suddenly, Team Rocket appears, "Hello!"

Everyone looks and sees Team Rocket coming down in their balloon.

"The real miracle is that we haven't captured Pikachu and Eevee yet!" Jessie says.

"So prepare for another…" James says.

"Miracle on ice!" Meowth adds.

"Team Rocket!" Everyone exclaims.

Jessie calls out, "Go, Arbok!"

"Weezing!" James calls out.

Before Mew can do anything, Pryce gets in front of Mew and her Pokemon to defend them, "Stop! My Piloswine owes its life to Pikachu and Eevee, and I also vow to make amends to Celebi! Think you can steal it? You gotta go through me, first!"

"Make amends?" Jen questions.

"Why did he say that?" Molly asks.

Mew says, "Long story, but Pryce was the masked man who caught Celebi all those years ago. He actually wanted to use Celebi's power to go back in time to save his friendship with Piloswine."

This shocked the others.

"Well, well. The little old man's got spunk," Jessie says, "Arbok, go get him."

"You, too, Weezing," James calls out.

Both Pokemon charge in, but Piloswine looks raring to go.

"Oh, yeah! Ready for this, Piloswine" Pryce says, "Alright, use Take Down!" Piloswine charges and nails Arbok.

Then Pryce calls out, "Fury Attack, go!"

Piloswine repeatedly hits Weezing with the attack before landing.

"Yes! That's showing em!" Pryce cheers.

Mew and the others are amazed.

"Wow," Mew says.

Sheila nods, "Talk about your deja vu! I feel like I've gone back in time!"

"We will not be beat!" Jessie shouts.

"Put more pride in your stride!" James calls out.

Both Pokemon charge again.

"Ha! And now, Blizzard!" Pryce calls out.

Piloswine fires the attack and freezes both Pokemon solid before blowing them back to Team Rocket.

"Now, Pikachu, Eevee, Thunderbolt! Celebi, use Solar Beam!" Mew calls out.

And with that, Mew's Pokemon launch their attacks and Team Rocket is sent flying.

"Looks like Team Rocket's blasting off again!" Team Rocket screams.

Mew hugs her Pokemon.

"I declare!" Sheila says.

Everyone starts celebrating.

Later that evening, at the gates to the gym.

"I have to admit, that was some adventure," Mew says.

"I agree," Pryce says.

"It's still hard to believe you're the masked man that caught Celebi," Molly says.

"No wonder Celebi had a bad reaction towards you, but she seems to be better with you now," Brock says.

"I guess it's because of Pryce's real reason that she was able to slowly accept him," Mew says.

"Yeah," Pryce says, and sighs in exhaustion, "I think we've all had enough excitement for one day, "Then turns back around, "Why don't you get a good night's sleep at the Pokemon Center and come see me tomorrow?"

"Yeah. And if I do, then you'll battle with me?" Mew asks.

"You bet," Pryce says.

"Alright!" Mew says.

With that, Mew will be able to have her gym match. Thanks to this unexpected adventure, Piloswine has been saved, and it ended up melting Pryce's heart. And Celebi is able to slowly become more comfortable, after the truth is revealed. And now, Mew and her friends will get a good earned rest for Mew's Match tomorrow.
