HERE IT IS! PART 2! THE ADVENTURE CONTINUES!

TO THE PEOPLE OF UKRAINE, GOD BE WITH YOU!
2024…
Mark Wulfson, the former human, now walking/talking Husky Dog, wearing a blue tank top with a fanny pack (or a bumbag), as he decided to have a less punky attire, was still saving the galaxy with his family, the Guardians of the Galaxy. After the battle of Earth, the year before, Thor had teamed up with them, and they set off on some adventures. Kraglin had also officially joined them, as Mark and some of the others had hoped that he'd help fill some of the space and void left by Gamora. At one point, Thor lead the group through fire, Mark stepped through the fire in between Groot and Drax. Meanwhile Thor got himself back into shape, putting in the hard yards, turning pains into gains, and never skipping leg day. He went from fat Thor back to fit Thor, eventually managing to pull the Benatar downwards a bit via a chain even with the engines running. But despite this, Thor was no longer really helping out, as he now tended to stay out of fights. One particular instance was when they were fighting opponents in a swamp. Mark was wearing googles from his fanny pack over his eyes, fired a few paw-blasts, before taking in a gulp of air and ducking under the water to see what was doing on, while Thor sat down and did nothing but watch.
Now they were on the planet of Indigarr, Thor having told them it would be a relaxing holiday, a break for the. But instead, they find the planet in the middle of a war between the people and a gang of furry bird like faced marauders called the Booskans. The Guardians (minus Kraglin) then got roped into the fight, ending up in the trenches with the locals. Mark was currently on Quill's (now sporting a beard) right, who was ducking behind a rock, Mark's size clearly helping him, as he just had to put his dog body against the rock (his head and muzzle facing leftwards at Quill's face) as Mantis was running down the trench, panicking about not relaxing, then an explosion boomed near them. "Hey, Quill, Mark!" They both heard Thor cry out. "What?" Quill asked, as he turned towards where the voice came from. "Yeah?" Mark added just after Quill spoke, as he moved his body away from the rock, turning his head slightly leftwards, looking over his left shoulder slightly and upwards, seeing Thor standing on the ground above them, wearing a beige and brown cloak. "Isn't this beautiful? What is that glorious aroma?" Thor asked, oblivious to the sounds of battle around them. "I think it's all the bodies!" Quill exclaimed, Mark nodding his head rapidly in agreement, as it smelled like that to him. "No, no, no. It's wonderful. I remember when we first arrived here. Ha ha. Just a bunch of foolish kids really. What did I tell you?" Thor replied as he stepped down into the trench and started walking down it, Mark and Quill stepped up to him and walked after him, Mark getting in front of Quill then then in between them, looking upwards/rightwards at Thor. "You told us we were going on vacation to Indigarr, and that we'd enjoy it, that it would be beautiful. You never said it would be a war zone!" Mark said loudly and frustratedly. "War zone? Ugh." Thor said back at him, while staring down at him, winching in disgust, as he looked past Mark to see some stretcher bearers carrying a wounded man holding what looked like his intestines. "Ew. Oh dear. I hope you feel better soon." Thor spoke to the guy as Mark heard a loud of shouting as he stepped his body to the right a bit and looked upwards/rightwards to see Thor's rocky pal, Korg stumble into the trench, Mark turning fully around. "Korgi, three you are! How are you?" Thor asked. "Uh, yeah. I'm good, bro. Thanks." Korg replied, holding up his left arm up and doing a thumbs up. "Great." Thor replied, before Mark turned around to face forwards again and started walking with them. They then came upon a dead local. "Look at this guy. Sleeping on the job, are we? Lazy bones." Thor said, shaking the guy's right arm with his right hand, oblivious to the guy being dead. Mark rolled his eyes. "Thor, he's dead." He spoke, his tone full of annoyance, holding out both his paws at the guy. Thor then let go of the arm. Mark couldn't take any more of Thor's behaviour. "Damn it. Hot zone. I told you." Thor spoke, as he turned around to face them, holding up and shaking his hands, before Quill then grabbed his cloak with his Quad Blasters. "Listen to me, man. You have got to get us out of here! Remember when you told us that this was going to be a safe vacation? I said, 'Are you certain?'. You said, 'Oh yeah, 100%.'" Quill said to him. "Out of a thousand…%. Besides, last time I was here, it was safe." Thor said back. "And when was that?" Mark asked. "12 AD." Thor answered before he walked away from them. His recent behaviour was really getting Mark's nerves.
Later, the battle was taken out of the trenches and above ground, the Guardians and the locals shooting their weapons. Mark fired paw-blasts from both his held-out paws, shooting the enemy at their stronghold, the local's sacred temple from a long range, when an explosion boomed behind him, the blast making hi fall onto the ground on his stomach, lots of bits of dirt falling onto his back, the rear of his furry head, legs, tail, and lower body. He got up on his hind legs, his front paws holding him up as he looked around. Nebula and Drax were shooting their weapons, Rocket and Groot were fighting over a pair of scopes. Quill and Mantis had gone to get Thor, as they clearly needed him to win the battle. "Hello, everybody!" He then heard Thor's voice say, so he looked over his right shoulder as he moved his upper body off the ground, up on his hind legs, then turned around slightly rightwards to see Thor walking calmly towards them. "Well, well. Look who it is." He heard Rocket say, as he kept his eyes on Thor. "How are we doing, guys?" Thor asked, as Mark saw Quill run ahead of Thor. "Terrible! We're all about to die." He heard Drax answer from where he was. "You said this planet would be a relaxing holiday!" Rocket spoke as Mark saw him now holding his blaster in the corner of his eyes, as then then ducked down behind a rock to avoid the blasts by bend his hind legs, placing his left paw on the rock. "I said it was going to be, 'Like a relaxing holiday.' But look at that resplendent skyscape. Three suns of Saturn. What could be more relaxing that that?" Thor asked Rocket. "An actual holiday!" Rocket spoke. "Die, Booskan scum!" He heard Quill yell out, before he looked rightwards to see some locals lead an important looking one, by the looks of his clothes and the hat he wore. "God of Thunder." The guy said, his tone rich in relief, as Thor turned around. "King Yakan." Thor greeted, his arms held out, as the group came up to Thor and stopped, as Mark, with his Dog-hearing, listened in. "You have finally joined our fight." King Yakan spoke in relief. "Well, as they say, better late than not at all." Thor replied. "That is very nice. As you know, we used to live in a peaceful oasis. But then our gods were murdered." Yakan explained. "Murdered?" Thor asked. "And now our sacred temple has been left unguarded, and Habooska's hordes took control of its power. It is our most sacred shrine and he desecrates it." Yakan added. "Not for long." Thor said, his tone determined. "Ahh…" Yakan spoke dramatically, which made Mark smirk. "King Yakan, tell them what happened here today. Tell them of the time of Thor, and his ragtag, motley crew of misfit desperadoes, turned the tide of the battle, and etched their names in history." Thor spoke as he walked onto a large rock, Mark watching by moving his head leftwards, narrowing his eyes in confusion at Thor's description of the group. "For the odds may be against us, but I'll tell you this for free." Thor continued. "Here it comes." He heard Quill say softly.
"THIS ENDS HERE AND NOW!" Thor proclaimed as he turned round to face the enemy, despite a hole being shot in his cloak. Suddenly he then got his cloak off dramatically, revealing his simple clothes (a white shirt, a brown jacket, and black jeans), the locals exclaimed in awe, before Thor threw his cloak away behind him, which, as Mark watch it fly off, flew into King Yakan, which made him smirk again before he looked back at Thor to see him summon his axe, Stormbreaker with his right hand. Then he held it up and lightning bursted out of it. Mark knew that there was anything that would attract the enemy's attention, it would be that. Sure enough, a few seconds later when Mark looked ahead, he them heading towards them in their vehicles. He then looked rightwards/upwards, to see Thor do a jump/backwards roll off the rock, landed on his feet, then the enemy started shooting at him. As the first vehicle approached, Thor used Stormbreaker to destroy it, then did the same with the next one, then the third, then did a big jump forward to take out the fourth. When one came up right in front of him, he caught it with his own hands, moving backwards for a few seconds, before he used his strength to slow them down, and threw the vehicle behind him. Mark saw it fly behind him, but kept his eyes on Thor, hearing the explosion of the vehicle landing behind him and them. Thor got himself back on his feet as the remaining vehicle approached him. Mark faintly saw a few bits of lighting on Stormbreaker, before he watched Thor throw at the vehicles, which destroyed most of them, save two, which then went to Thor left and right, heading straight for him. Thor didn't move except for when they were very close to him, so he jumped, and when they supposedly struck him, a large of white light appeared between them for a few seconds, which cleared away to reveal Thor was stopping them with his legs in a perfect split. Mark couldn't help but chuckle and grin. Mark could see faintly and hear the Booskans drivers were reeving their engines to deal with Thor, but nothing worked. Thor then jumped away (forwards) and the two vehicles rammed and destroyed each other. Thor then dealt with the larger, armoured like vehicle, by dodging its blasts, and then gave a powerful kick with his right leg, which sent it rolling away. Thor then summoned Stormbreaker with his right hand again and flew towards the sacred temple, the blasts the enemy fired from the top doing nothing. In his head, Mark began to worry. "Uh… is he going to go into the temple?" He thought in his head. "He's not going to go into the temple, is he? No." He heard Yakan ask/say behind him. Then he saw Thor fly through the entrance, several ascending blue lights flashing from the main spire in the temple, which made him cringe in worry. Thor flew out of the top, taking out the last of the Booskans, and their leader, before flying back to Mark and the others, before landing on the same rock. Some of the locals cheered. "Well done, everybody. We can collectively take credit for that because we worked as a team. We used our heats and our minds to defeat the enemy with minimal loss or damage." Thor spoke, but while he was talking, Mark heard creaking sounds coming from the temple, and a moment later, the main part started to fall down, breaking up into loads of pieces, the two parts besides it breaking up as well. Mark cringed again, and held his front paws on the sides of his Dog-face. "What a classic Thor adventure." Thor continued, completely oblivious to the destruction he himself had caused.
A while later, back on the Benatar, Thor and the Guardians were having to deal with the 'gifts' that King Yakan had given them, which were two giant Goats. Their size meant they took up a bit of space of the ship, especially in the main deck. But the worse thing about them was their loud, hysterical, endless screaming. It was clear to Mark that this was the King's idea of revenge for the temple. He currently stood in the corner of a beam, in between Groot and Quill. He held both front paws in his Dog ears, since, because of his hearing, the Goats loud screaming was driving him crazy. "WILL SOMEONE PLEASE SHUT THEM UP?!" He yelled, as he could not focus nor hear anything but their screaming. He watched what the others were doing, Quill and Groot were looking for something, most likely the remote for the distress signals, Mantis was pointing at the Goat Drax was holding with her right index finger held out. Rocket got up onto the desk, then Drax's Goat moved over to the other side of the table and kicked it away with its hoof, sending flying away, luckily Rocket jumped off and up onto the roof, just before the Goats hoof made contact. He then saw Nebula walk over with a blaster, Mantis walking up to besides her, holding how a smaller blaster. "If you two are after the Goats, do it!" Mark cried out. Then he saw Nebula shout something, but as she fired Thor moved in front of her and moved her blaster towards the roof, the blast firing just above Korg's face, making him fall to the ground. Finally, after a few seconds, the screaming finally stopped. Mark signed in relief as he removed his front paws from his ears. "Ting people. Meeting people. They're a great conversation starter. "Thor spoke. "And I've been told you can summon them with a special whistle. It goes something like this…" Korg said, before he tried several times do a specific whistle, but, according to him, none of the were right, so he said Mantis should try and have a go, but her's sounded even worst. Mark droned out of that conversation because he couldn't stand the mention of those Goats. "Oh, hey, guys." He then heard Kraglin's voice, which made him look towards the ramp to see Kraglin with a local lady. "Kraglin? You've been here this whole time?" Quill asked him. "Yeah, you said to stay with the ship. This is Glenda. We're married." Kraglin answered. Mark rolled his eyes while Groot scoffed. "I am Groot." He said, sayings that's funny, as Mark stepped forwards towards Kraglin, then stopped. "Kraglin, we've been over this. You can't just keep jumping into relationships on every planet we go to." Mark said, annoyed.
Then he walked past Kraglin and his 'wife', towards the ramp stairs and walked down it, took a step forward away from it, as he needed some air. The whole Goats thing had really burned his temper. He stood still where he was for around a minute, before he heard footsteps coming towards the ramp. He turned around leftwards to see Thor with a concerned look on his face, so Mark took two steps to his right, as Thor went over to the left of the ramp, Mark staring up at him, standing silently and still just as he had done. He heard footsteps again, looked over his left shoulder to see Quill coming down the ramp, standing in between Mark and Thor. "Thor. You gonna be okay?" Quill asked as he came down the ramp and onto the ground. "I admire your commitment to each other. It's a beautiful thing. Alas, it's something I'll never have." Thor answered, not looking at him. "Something I missed?" Mark asked, looking upwards/leftwards at Quill. "We received a distress call from his friend Sif, and he wants to go and help her." Quill answered, looking over/downwards his right shoulder. "Uh, guys, if I may?" Mark asked, staring up at Thor. "You may." Thor answered, as Quill nodded, so Mark stared at Thor. "For the first time in your over a thousand-year life, you no longer know who you are. Trust me, Quill and I have been lost before. But then we found meaning, we found family. Quill found love." Mark spoke, remembering how bad and unhappy he felt before he met the Guardians, during the first few months after he was taken from Earth and got the body he now has. "He's right. And yeah, that love got taken from me, and God, that hurts. But that shitty feeling is better than feeling empty. My hope for you is that one day, you will find something to make you felt this shitty." Quill added, now facing Thor. "I have loved before. It didn't work. They either die a grismal death or they dump you with a hand written letter. I don't know which is worse, but its why I keep everyone at arm's length." Thor replied, before he held out his right arm towards Quill, keeping an arm's length distance between them. "You've grown too attached. Damn it, I knew this would happen." Thor then said as he moved his arm down and took a few steps away from them. "You must go. I'll find Sif. You answer the other calls. The Galaxy needs its Guardians." Thor spoke. "Cool, yeah, we we're just leaving." Quill replied, pointing at the Banatar with his right index finger, before Thor turned to face him. "Shh, I know it hurts. But is better this way. You have to trust me." Thor said back, before he walked towards the side of the ramp, Mark looking leftwards to see. "To ease the pain, why don't you, uh, take this ship here, as a parting farewell gift?" Thor asked, patting the ramp with his left hand, Mark getting a bit bored of this conversation. "Oh, you're giving me my ship?" Quill asked, confused Thor had never owned the Benatar. "Yes, she's yours. May you make as many memories with her as I have. She's a temperamental old mast. Will serve you well in a tight pickle." Thor spoke as he walked towards Quill. "I'll start the ship." Kraglin spoke as he walked past Quill and Mark. "Thank you." Quill replied with a slight nod. "Goodbye, old friends." Thor spoke to Quill, then looked leftwards/downwards at Mark, who wasn't really in a goodbye mood. "Just take your stupid Goats with you!" He snapped at he turned rightwards and walked halfway up the ramp, then stopped and looked to see Quill and Thor handshake. "Human hand shake." Thor spoke as the ship's engines fired up. "Asgardian shake." Thor added, as then then grabbed Quill's forearm, as Mark noticed Korg was taking the Goats out of the ship. Then he started to whirl their arms round and around, then poked Quill's arm with his right index finger. "Into the snake, that you cannot trust. "Really dragging this out." Quill said back. "Finish, the classic Asgardian high one." Thor said, holding out his right index finger, which Quill touched with his right index finger, Thor separating his at contact with an explosion sound. Mark then saw Drax, followed by Nebula, walk towards the ramp. "Let's go." Drax spoke as he walked besides them. "Take care of my crew. This is gonna be hard for them." Thor continued. "Hurry up!" Nebula snapped, as he went by them. "Not her." Thor added.
"Remember what I told you. You ever feel lost, just look into the eyes of the people that you love. And they'll tell you exactly who you are." Quill spoke, staring upwards/leftwards at Mark (who was on the step beneath the one Drax and Mantis stood on) and the rest of the Guardians (minus Kraglin). Thor then started slowly moving his head and body leftwards, into Quill's gaze, so Quill moved his head/body leftwards in response, before they stopped, as Mark turned around and walked up the rest of the ramp, followed swiftly by the others. "All right, bye." He heard Quill spoke, before he heard walking up the ramp, which, as he heard, started to retract. The engines then fired, and then the Benatar left Indigarr, and Thor, through a jump point, onto their next mission.
And that's the first chapter done! BTW, "Bumbag" is what people in the U.K. call a "Fanny Pack". Sorry if it's a big chapter, but I just wanted to get the "Thor: Love and Thunder" bit over and done with, before I dive into my Supported Internship (in the U.K.). Sometimes I thought about including Mark in the rest of the movie, but thinking how much time it would take of personal life, as well as the cost-of-living crisis, as well as seeing the Guardians Holiday Special trailer on YouTube, (which surprised me), I gave that thought up. Sorry about the descriptions, but I just like it to be well described, and I don't fully remember how I described things in my last book. Please be patient for the next chapter, which won't be out until most likely next year.
