I do not own Code Geass or any series /characters referenced in this story.
Hello to everyone reading this fic; before the story starts, I would just like to say a few things. This is my first Fanfiction, so I would appreciate as much feedback as possible it does not have to be positive, but I would like at least constructive criticism so I can improve both the story and my writing.
I have several other things to say, but they will be at the end of the chapter because after typing out all I had to say, I realized how long it would take just to get into the story. If you enjoyed the first chapter in my story, then the info at the end may interest you. To sum it up, Lelouch will be the best Knightmare pilot in the world once he reaches the age of 19/20. He will be just as smart, so he will be a more challenging opponent in my universe. I have not decided on a lover or lovers for Lelouch C.C., Kallen, Milly, and Euphemia are all options (lots of females in the show might be). Akito the Exiled is canon in this fic, or at least the characters will be. Most characters from Oz the Reflection will be in this story. I am unsure about all the characters from the Nightmare of Nunnally. That is a brief summarization of my ramblings I hope you enjoy.
Code Geass Lelouch The Demon of Britannia
Chapter One: The Diverging Paths
Holy Britannian Empire: Aries Villa [2009]
Marianne vi Britannia, the fifth wife of Charles zi Britannia and the Knight of Two, once again made sure that no one had followed her to the main stairwell of Aries Villa as she would have to kill anyone who saw this meeting.
"I was wondering what was this urgent business that you spoke of was? I made sure no one else is here. I even had Cornelia leave as well." Marianne said to the young child at the bottom of the stairs, dressed in elegant Britannian royal robes.
"Sorry for calling you here without Charles." The child spoke in a cold tone that you would never normally hear from a ten-year-old boy but, his true identity is V.V, also known as Victor zi Britannia, the older twin brother of the current Emperor. With a background like that, it was reasonable for him to speak in such a cold tone despite his youthful appearance.
"Is this about the Sword of Akasha?" Marianne asked because it had to be important if V.V called a meeting so suddenly.
"No, it is about Charles." Immediately Marianne was on guard for two reasons: One, Charles might be in danger, and two, the tone that Victor used was stuffed to the brim with jealousy.
"Charles has begun to change since he met you; he is becoming soft and holds far too much affection for you and your children." The amount of jealousy in his voice was enough to scorch the air, as Marianne could almost feel the heat radiating from the enraged immortal in front of her.
"At this rate, our contract will end up becoming undone, and I'll be the only one pursuing the world without lies!" Victor seemed to be leading up to something that wouldn't be good. With that, Marianne's brain was now racing, thinking about how to escape this situation.
"Ever since the time of legends and myths, it's always the woman who leads the man astray. Now you are doing the same to MY BELOVED BIG BROTHER, YOU WHORE! YOU DARE TRY AND TAKE HIM AWAY FROM ME!" Victor was out of control, his eyes had become wide, and his pupils dilated. It was not the look of a sane human or immortal.
"Lady Marianne, get away from him!" Two of the palace servants shouted as they ran down the stairs in a mad attempt to get her away from the clearly insane child that was threatening their sworn liege. One servant drew his pistol from his pocket and aimed at V.V. only to be quickly gunned down by the submachine gun hidden under Victor's robes while the other servant threw himself in front of Marianne.
"Out of the way, filth!" Victor screamed as he unconsciously unloaded most of the magazine into the other servant, who dropped down to the ground, dying with some satisfaction that he had at least protected his lady with his life.
After taking a long deep breath to get more oxygen to his brain, V.V began to speak once more.
"Now, I will never lose Charles to some slutty bitch like you!" Now that she sat defenseless before him, V.V seemed to calm down quite a bit because, as far as he was concerned, the only threat to his brother's love was about to be removed. No... the spawn of the witch before him could also take his brother's love, so they would have to get killed as well. It was rather convenient that both were in the same house as him right now. Unfortunately for V.V, who was amid deep contemplation of his next move, he missed the sound of scurrying feet and the gun of the first guard getting picked up and aimed at him.
Bang! A bullet pierced V.V's abdomen, and he screamed in pain, looking over to see his attacker. Only to be shocked as a pair of beautiful violet eyes identical to his brother's looked back, fear and hatred both equally present in Lelouch vi Britannia's eyes as he shot his uncle in the face, 'killing' him.
Holy Britannian Empire: Aries Villa
30 Minutes prior to V.V. and Marianne meeting
Lelouch was not feeling the slightest bit tired as he walked around his home, pondering about his latest chess game with his older brother Schneizel. He knew he had lost around five minutes into the game and decided to try a new and brash strategy to glean a bit of information about his brother based on his reactions. It roused a decent response from his older brother, and Lelouch felt like he understood Schneizel a little bit better. He was suddenly forced out of his contemplation as he noticed a young girl sneaking out of her room at the end of the hall.
"Anya!" He immediately called out upon recognizing the only girl that visited his house who would not torment him and claim to marry him. "What are you doing up this late?"
"Ah, your Highness, I was going to go to the kitchen so I could practice eating properly; I was scolded last time by my instructor." The young noble seemed to have a blush as she responded, but Lelouch attributed it to the fact that she was caught sneaking out rather than her having romantic feelings towards him. Lelouch realized at that moment that Anya was the only normal kid in the house and likely the most normal out of all the kids he interacted with.
"How many times do I have to say this Anya, please just call me Lelouch. We have gotten to know one another very well these past few weeks, I would hope that after such a long time, it would disperse the formality between us." Lelouch said in a slightly annoyed voice, it was always a bother to be called in such a formal manner by someone so young.
"Ok, Le-Lelouch," Anya said timidly.
"See, that was not so hard, was it?" Lelouch said with a smile on his face.
"No, it wasn't, but my instructors said that if I addressed you in such a rude way, I could be executed!" At the end of her sentence, Anya's voice rose as she genuinely believed what her instructor had said.
"Well, then I will talk with your instructors tomorrow on how you can address my sisters and myself. Also, I can help you with your table manners as I have been taught how to eat properly my whole life." Lelouch said as he took her hand and began to lead her towards the kitchen.
"You don't have to Lelouch. I can practice on my own you should go back to bed." Anya protested.
"I'm wide awake right now. How about this if you beat me at a game of chess, I will go back to bed," Lelouch said with a confident smirk.
"Only if you don't get your queen and your bishops, I'll play you," Anya said, having already played Lelouch several times and lost miserably each time. Anya decided that she would need every edge in this she could get.
"Ok, let's head to my room; we can use my best board." Even though he lost some of his most versatile pieces, Lelouch still had that extremely confident smirk on his face. Anya silently pledged to wipe that smug smile off his face.
As he set up his favorite chessboard on his bed, Lelouch realized that two people playing on the bed would be difficult if they moved too much all the pieces would fall, so he quickly picked up the chessboard and brought it to one of the tables with chairs near his bookshelf.
A few minutes later, after Anya lost, she realized once again why the only person who Lelouch couldn't beat was the Second Prince Schneizel. Every movement on the board was calculated. He must have planned out how the game would go once she made the fifth move or so. The most frightening thing was that he would keep a conversation with the same confident smirk the whole game. He was unflappable, and it made her wonder if he was really ten years old, he was three years older than her, but she felt as if they were generations apart.
"You know, Anya you shouldn't get sad or angry over these games for a kid your age, you have been playing very well, in a few years, you could become a professional. Although I was handicapped, you still made the last game difficult." Lelouch saw that she was feeling down about her losses, so he tried to compliment her, so he may have exaggerated a bit. However, Anya's critical thinking and strategy were not bad at all with a bit of guidance; she could be as good as he said.
"Lelouch, you are only three years older than me, but you still call me a kid isn't that a little silly?" Anya asked with a bit of amusement in her eyes.
"Well, everyone I meet always talks about how mature I am, so I try to impress my mother and father so the nobles can stop calling me the commoner prince behind my back." Anya looked a little shocked at the last bit Lelouch let slip. He thought in grim amusement that she most likely believed that the nobles of the Empire treated all the Princes and Princesses with respect, but she didn't know how mistaken she was.
"I'm sorry for making you bring that up, Lelouch" Anya did seem truly sad as one would expect from a child. "I'll go practice my proper meal manners now."
"Nonsenses, who won the bet? Also, don't worry about the other nobles; my mother is the best Knightmare pilot in the world, and as the creed of the entire Empire is: "Strength makes Right," no-one can do anything to my sister and me. I will try to protect you as much as I can. You help me when Milly and the others chase me, I appreciate that a lot. I swear on my name Lelouch vi Britannia." Although he really did like Anya, he wasn't just protecting her because she would help him when getting chased or her friendship with Nunally. It scared him how few real friends his family had. If anything were to happen, likely only the Ashfords could be relied on especially if time is critical. The others were false-faced leeches that would turn on his mother as soon as she showed weakness. So, if he could make more real friends for his family, it would be easier later in his life as he gained more power and more purist enemies.
"Thanks, Lelouch!" Anya's face had a genuine smile that removed all the stress and fear that often plagued her face. She had to continually think about how her every action would impact how the noble society would view her and her family, now that weight would be partially lifted. Although she was completely unaware of Lelouch's other plans, he would treat her the same regardless because he genuinely liked her.
They stealthily snuck down the main stairs, not passing any guards, which Lelouch found strange as there were usually some patrolling the villa. However, with his older sister Cornelia as the head of the royal guards, he wasn't worried about his safety as she was a stickler for the security of his home. Soon the two were in the empty kitchen setting up a formal dining arrangement as Lelouch explained each utensil and its use.
"This is the Oyster fork; it looks like a trident. I think you can guess what it is used for, right?" Lelouch questioned his accomplice.
"Yep, the pizza!" Anya said with a big grin on her face.
"Good, my young apprentice and the rest from the left, in order are the soup spoon used for ice cream, the teaspoon used for mixing your soda, the fish knife used for poking your neighbors, the dinner knife which is actually only used at breakfast, and finally the salad knife which is used for the main dish." Lelouch immediately noticed what Anya was doing and one-upped her right away, and to add to the mischief, he said, "Actually, one of the things I said was true, and it is up to you to figure out which one is the right one." Naturally, all the things Lelouch said were fake, but if he said one was real, that would stump Anya.
"Ha! did you think I would fall for such an easy trap, Lelouch the wise?" She said with a happy grin on her face, yet a mocking tone was heard.
"No, not really, but…" Lelouch suddenly cut off as he heard a child screaming from what seemed like the main staircase, followed by gunshots.
"Nunnally! Mother!" Lelouch yelled as he ran as fast as he could to the grand staircase, Anya close behind him.
Before they had gotten far, Lelouch spoke in a voice that had absolute authority, said to the young Alstreim heiress, "Go and get the guards shout and scream, whatever it takes just get someone to help, please I have to go!"
"Yes, your Highness!" Anya said almost like a soldier, responding to the commanding tone of Lelouch, which was so different from the boy who was joking around a few moments ago it caused her to think he was a different person.
As Lelouch silently crept into the main stairway hall from behind the staircase, he thought he heard a child talking, but the tone was all wrong, it sounded like an adult with a high-pitched voice. He peeked his head out from behind a column and was shocked at the scene, he saw before him, his mother was sitting at the bottom of the staircase with a boy his age pointing an SMG at her with two servants dead at her feet.
Lelouch noticed one of the servant's guns lying on the floor close to him, and he knew what he had to do.
"Now, I will never lose Charles to some slutty bitch like you!" Lelouch pushed the strange statement said by the boy to the back of his mind as he ran and grabbed the gun. Its safety was off, and Lelouch took aim at the boy, his first shot hitting him in the stomach, then as the boy turned and looked at him, he felt a bit of familiarity as his second shot shattered his brains out.
Holy Britannian Empire: Aries Villa (Present time)
For a moment, Marianne was shell-shocked; she had just been saved by her 10-year-old son. Her firstborn child, who she had viewed as a pawn to be used by herself and her husband. Her whole life flashed by her eyes; she saw her parents die at the hands of the greedy Nobel that wanted their land to build a new mansion. The day she enlisted into the military and the long years she spent training, the day she first got to pilot a Knightmare, and the day she met Charles all passed in an instant. Then the day Lelouch was born, she had never felt such joy, and she was unbelievably happy, but she knew it was nothing more than a hormonal response to protect her offspring. So, she quickly pushed those feelings away. Marianne knew if her son became vital to her, then she might give up on the world without lies. She would always put Ragnarök first and her children second, even if it felt wrong as a mother.
After the realization of what had happened hit her, the cold-hearted Marianne vi Britannia died in that hallway, and the one who took her place was a woman who only cared for her son and daughter. She had finally become a real mother. Marianne had spent most of her life slaving away for either her goals or Charles', but now it all seemed meaningless in the face of the son that she gave birth to. Marianne's walls shattered, she felt like a monster, what she and her husband had been planning would strip her son of his own free will, not to mention the rest of the world. She needed to change and convince Charles to change as well before it was too late, with Victor's betrayal as an example of why the world without lies would fail, she had a chance to convince him.
She shakily stood up and hugged her son. Lelouch looked like he could pass out at any moment; he was pale as a ghost, and he had tears at the corners of his eyes.
"Lelouch, I'm so sorry for putting you through that, my poor boy, I'm sorry I'm so sorry," She kept repeating. Lelouch began to cry as he was held in his mother's warm hug; although he was extremely mature for his age Lelouch was still a child. As far as Lelouch knew, he had just killed someone if this was not handled properly, he could be extremely traumatized. After her son had calmed down a bit, Marianne stood up again and took the gun that Lelouch used to incapacitate V.V and unloaded the rest of the clip into the remnants of his skull, shocking her son, who had never seen the gruesome side of the beautiful and kind Lady Marianne. However, only she and Charles knew how quickly V.V could regenerate. Marianne would need to decapitate him soon before he regenerated and began to cause more trouble. Then Marianne went back to hugging her son, she then promised to herself that she would never lie to him again.
Finally, the royal guards showed up, with Jeremiah Gottwald leading the way and a small girl with short pink hair held in his arms. She recognized Anya Alstreim, the young girl who had visited Aries Villa to be taught in etiquette. The young girl looked horrified at the scene before her, and rightfully so, it was something a child should never have to see firsthand after all.
"Lady Marianne! Are you all, right?" Her royal guards immediately moved to cover her from the windows in case of another attack.
After a moment of consideration, she pulled the young girl into her hug as well as shocking Anya as well as her loyal guards.
"I'm fine call my husband on his emergency number and cut off that boy's head." Marianne's orders we followed without question, even the decapitation order on a childlike corpse.
"Your highness, may I ask what happened here?" Inquired Jeremiah as he looked around the base of the grand staircase and the two bodies of the servants who lost their lives in defense of their liege.
"The body of that boy over there was an assassin Lelouch killed him as he was about to shoot me." Marianne was still hugging the two young children as she responded to the loyal Knight's question.
"His Highness killed him?!" Jeremiah shouted in shock a ten-year-old prince with no combat training had just killed an assassin sent to kill an Empress of Britannia. The Prince would be a prodigy in any field he went into, and it would be an honor just to serve under him. The other royal guards also looked shocked while they had all lost to him in chess and knew how smart Lelouch was; they never expected that he would save their liege's life.
Less than 10 minutes later, the Emperor himself showed up with the Knights of One, Three, and Eleven as well as a task force wearing his personal crest on their helmets. His eyes widened as he saw the headless "corpse" of his older brother on the floor, and after a few tense seconds, he had a rough idea of what had happened.
"Bismarck, you will stay with me the rest of you perform a thorough search of the entire Aries Villa and its grounds. Loughty (Knight of Eleven), take the young Alstreim heiress and bring her to a hospital for a checkup; bring a few men with you. I would like to speak to my wife and son alone." The Emperor's words were loud and angry, they seemed to invigorate the house guards to another level, and even the old Knight of Three who was pushing on 60 got a little excited, opening his eyes just a fraction at the Emperor's unusual show of emotion. The guards left, and Edwin Loughty carefully picked up Anya and carried her away, followed by Bernard Armstrong, the oldest Knight of the Round Table.
"What happened, Marianne? Why is Victor here and decapitated?" The Emperor's calm and angry facade fell as he was alone with the people he truly trusted. His eyes held confusion, fear, as well as rage. The Emperor was clearly worried about what almost happened to his only real wife. He was also shaken at the fact that his brother was involved somehow.
"V.V tried to kill me, the jealousy brat," Marianne spat out in anger as she stood up, turning to face her husband, holding Lelouch's hand as he looked up at his father.
"I ki-killed him, so don't get mad at mom, he had her at gunpoint, so I s-shot him," Lelouch stated, trying to take all the blame as it was evident that the child, he killed was someone important to his father.
"You killed him!" The Emperor and Knight of One's stunned voices overlapped as they both were shocked to their core.
"Yes, Charles, he killed your brother, and I'm done with Ragnarök. I want to be a genuine mother to Lelouch and Nunnally." Two incredibly shocking statements were just said with little to no forewarning. It was apparent in her tone that Marianne was serious when she said that she was done with their plan to kill God.
The statement shocked the Emperor even more than his brother's "death" the dream they had worked on for years to create a perfect world without lies. Their whole lives were dedicated to Ragnarök, and his wife wanted to throw it all away.
"What do you mean, Marianne? We worked so hard we were almost ready; C.C. is willing and prepared. We have the location of over half the Thought Elevators. Why? What made you change your mind?" Charles was panicking at this point, what did this to his wife?
"Lelouch is the reason why if Ragnarök is completed, he will lose his free will. He would not even be the same person in a world without lies, neither would you, for that matter. I love you both, and I do not know what I would do with myself if something were to happen to either of you. You both are such important parts of my life. I never realized how much I would miss you if you were gone. If my son and husband lose their personality, I would hardly be a good wife or mother, and that is what I want to be now. If you think I will be a liability, then wipe my memory, but before you do that, Charles, please consider becoming a real father to your son. We have been planning something horrible, but we can begin to redeem ourselves starting by becoming good parents." Marianne ranted, trying to appeal to Charles' better nature that she knew existed.
"Marianne, this is a lot to take in all at once, but I won't wipe your memories. I will have to think about this for a while. With Victor betraying us, we can't use his code for certain, and we have hardly any information on the other Code bearers. We don't know where they are, how old they are, or even if some of them are real. Ragnarök is out of the question, for now, while I will not wipe your memory, my love, Lelouch's memory will have to be modified." Charles said with shock still on his face, but he was considering her words, it would take a while to make a final decision.
"No! I will receive the same treatment as Lelouch!" Marianne shouted as she stood in front of her son once again, shocking Bismarck and Charles. "Please Charles, your own brother betrayed us he lied to all of us. We need to change for the better if we don't want to be get betrayed again. Caring for Lelouch is the best way to learn to how to change."
The Emperor opened his mouth, but before he could say a word, he was interrupted by the arrival of Bernard Armstrong, who had completed his mission.
"Your Majesty, we have captured several suspicious trespassers on the grounds as well as others who were outside of the Villa grounds that appeared to be related to the others we captured. While we killed the majority of them as they tried to escape the grounds, we managed to incapacitate several of the more unfortunate ones to be interrogated, my Lord." The Knight of Three had returned with the Royal and normal House Guards carrying several unconscious figures that were either tied up or had their limbs broken. "Some of these men are clearly EX-Britannian special forces as they have the customary Britannia Crest tattooed on their left shoulders. They also had their tracking chips removed. I can almost guarantee you that if we were to look them up in the database, they would be registered as KIA or MIA." Armstrong clearly felt a large amount of resentment towards the men they had captured as his voice had rare traces of anger. They had betrayed their country by attacking the Fifth Empress, who also held the titles of the best Knightmare pilot in the world as well as the Emperor's favorite wife. The traitors to his country deserved no respect from him.
"Well done, Armstrong, bring them to the high-security prison in the Royal Palace. More men should be here any minute; they will replace you and the house guards as you bring the prisoners away." As the Emperor said, those words, multiple soldiers wearing strange robe-like uniforms walked through the doors to the main hall as if waiting for him to say that.
"It will be done, your majesty what should we do with the bodies of the remaining soldiers? I doubt Lady Marianne would appreciate such a mess surrounding her home." The Knight of Three questioned as he gestured for the various guards to pick up the prisoners and take them away.
"Don't worry, Armstrong, we will have something arranged for the corpses we wouldn't want little Nunnally to wake up and see a blood-filled battlefield first thing in the morning. Don't worry too much about the interrogations I will see to it personally that these men give up their secrets" Charles clearly dismissed the remaining soldiers, and as they left, he turned to his wife and son.
"We will continue this conversation tomorrow at the thought elevator so we can explain everything to Lelouch also, Marianne, tell C.C. to be there. Bismarck take my brother to the prison we made for any other Code Bearers we would come across, also begin to find out which members of the Geass Directorate are loyal to me and prepare to purge the rest." The Emperor's expression did not show anything, but his words did he was at least somewhat approving of Marianne's idea of abandoning the Ragnarök Connection. By allowing Lelouch to learn of Geass and Code, he was unofficially giving him a considerable advantage against his siblings in the bid for the throne.
End of Chapter One: The Diverging Paths
My continued ramblings from the beginning of the Story
I have a rough idea of where I want the story to go, Lelouch will be the best Knightmare pilot in the world (his strategic mind won't be nerfed in any way) his mother was the best in the world and in canon he was only mediocre maybe in the top ten in the world but, with this fic the KMF ranking will be like so:
1. Lelouch vi Britannia
2. Kallen Stadtfeld/Kōzuki
3. Marianne vi Britannia
4. Bismarck Waldstein (he will awaken both Geass eyes)
5. Suzaku Kururugi
I haven't decided the rest of the knights of the round or guys like Li Xingke and Kyoshiro Tohdoh but they will all be worse than these top five. I will most likely add some OC characters that are on the same level or better than the KOR that Lelouch will have to fight. I will try to make them full characters that have their own dreams and goals, so they don't seem like cannon fodder to make Lelouch look even stronger.
I still haven't decided what to do with Lelouch's love life, I am strongly considering the harem rout as an option unless the comments are strongly against it the only problem is who to include in the harem. A dedicated Lelouch is also a possibility but far less likely as he is a prince who should have more than one wife.
C.C.: I love how for the first time in centuries C.C. opens up to the contractor who promised her that he would make her happy. The fact that he basically purposes to C.C. at the end of Lelouch of the Re;surrection is a testament on how close their relationship is as well as how hard C.C. tries to get him back in the movie. They both have their unique quirks and C.C. teased Lelouch a lot during both Black rebellions. So, C.C. is a prime candidate for the wife of the Demon of Britannia as she is the witch who sets him down the path of destruction in the original timeline.
Kallen: The hiding behind masks connection Lelouch has with Kallen is beautiful, also how neither of them could tell the other how they truly felt is a very interesting concept. Lelouch becoming the Emperor only pushed them further away, but it was evident in the show, with how close they get. Their feelings are least somewhat romantic because when Lelouch is at his lowest, he asks Kallen to comfort him. The kiss Kallen gives Emperor Lelouch is a nail in the coffin for Kallen's feelings for Zero/Lelouch.
Milly: She is also an option, but I don't see how she can compete with Kallen and C.C. We never get to know if she loves him or only sees him as a friend or brother, however many Fanfictions have her in the harem, but few have her alone with Lelouch if I do a harem then she could be put in as a look into noble life and society. I believe she liked him as a child, so that could evolve into a deep love for a mature Lelouch or die out with time. There are also some photos that Lelouch looks through in R2 that have him, and Milly lost in one another's eyes, but that is just a photo.
Euphemia: The obvious one with Lelouch staying in Britannia is Euphemia. I know they both had feelings for one another. Lelouch even says that Euphemia was his first love, but the whole incest thing is kind of weird, and in this Fic, he will view Charles as a true father, so Lelouch would most likely not think of their relationship as morally right. I will, however, have Euphemia be wholeheartedly in love with Lelouch. She and Nunnally will be the two most important things in Lelouch's life, followed by Marianne, Charles, and Cornelia (not in that order necessary) so regardless if she ends up in a relationship with Lelouch she will still be a big part of the story.
Now on to major story changes:
Nunnally will not be blind or crippled in this story; she will also have a genuinely loving mother and a loving father alongside her brother, who she treasures the most. I am considering having her going into politics like the female version of Schneizel however less ill-intended and manipulative. Instead of Lelouch trying to make the world a better place for his sister he will be making the world a better place for all Britanians.
Characters like Akito from Akito the Exiled will be in this fic I have also decided to put in Marrybell mel Britannia from OZ but I am unsure about others from the whole OZ manga universe. I also have plans for the Irregulars, but besides them, I will most likely not include any other Nightmare of Nunnally characters, but like most things, in an unwritten story, it is subject to change.
There will be other Code bearers who will be in various nations and they will have their personal plans and goals. They will be varying in age the oldest will be over 3000 years old while the youngest will be V.V I'm not sure how many I should have no more than 20 but no less than 7 or 8. I may mess with cannon a bit where a Geass user may receive multiple Geass abilities from different Code bearers, but it may make the already OP Lelouch unbeatable. Once again this is subject to change.
I have a problem with the lack of Knights of the Round Table and Princes and Princesses in the cannon story, so I've decided to fill all the ranks of Knights of the round and give Lelouch several older siblings. I have backstories for most of the Knights of The Round Table and a few Princes and Princesses. They aren't perfect however I do have a general personality decided for almost all of them it could just be a few words like; "is extremely arrogant and stupid" or it could be a little more depending on the character.
I will try to keep the story and characters as close to the original as possible, as well as include scenes that mirror the show. The iconic first Geass order of Lelouch will still happen as will other key scenes like the invasion of Japan. There will be a bit of a timeline change as well because Lelouch won't be sent to Japan as a political hostage the tension between the two nations would naturally rise. While I will be trying to keep the story as close to the original as possible in terms of characters and important moments, I will have a much larger scope and scale compared to the original series Britannia is a global nation so this story will also take place across the world with Lelouch visiting at least ten countries and spending a few chapters in each of them. Below is a list of the Knights of the round as well as a list of all of the Princess and princesses in front of Lelouch

I might add a list of high-ranking nobles if this story does well or if the few people who like it want me to make some more characters up.
Now onto the boring stuff about me, I have had the idea of this story floating around in my head for a few months, and I finally decided to write it out. I am uncertain how often I will be updating this story as I am also working on another fanfiction right now, so depending on which one I have more ideas for, I will work on it more. Also, my grammar and overall sentence structure need work, so if there any grammar gods reading this, then I would appreciate the help. There are lots of ideas for this story floating around my brain, so unless the story is poorly received, I will continue to work on it. If anyone has names of characters that will have minor roles, then please comment them because I have no confidence in making up random names.
