Katherine Grace Teller groans against her pillow as soon as she heard her alarm going off. She reached over and slams the alarm off as she slowly opens her eyes and groans again as she noticed it was already six in the morning and she only had about an hour before she had to ready for her morning class.
" Oh, good your awake." Katherine heard her roommate and best friend say as soon as she walked back into their dorm room." I brought you some coffee." She said as she placed the hot coffee down beside Katherine's bed.
Katherine sighs softly as she sat up and reached for the cup." I think I need like another two more hours of sleep." She mumbles as she took a huge drink of her coffee and closed her eyes as she could feel the warm liquid sliding down her throat.
" Well, that's what you get for waiting until the last minute to study before a big test." Tracy said with a chuckle as she took a drink of her own coffee before setting it down on her desk before finish getting ready for work. Luckily for her, her classes are only in the afternoon.
Katherine just rolled her eyes as she set her cup down." Whatever, besides I had lot going on these past two weeks. Not to mention I had to turn my report in for the next issue in the School's newspaper. " Katherine said with a shrug as she got up from her bed and walked over to her dresser and pulled out an outfit to wear.
" I still don't understand why you wanna be journalist. I mean you could be something more exciting, maybe like a doctor. I hear they get paid really good." Tracy said with a grin as she took another drink of her coffee.
Katherine snorts as she shook her head." Being a Doctor was always my mom's dream. My dream was to be a reporter for the Charming Newspaper. I remember when I was little girl every morning during breakfast, my dad would always read the newspaper and I would ask for the newspaper so I can read the news too. I even pretended that I was a reporter and I would interview my uncles at the club house and then I would write it all down in my journal at night before bed."
" What kind of questions would you ask them?"
" Katherine just shrugs her shoulders as she puts her shoes on." Just random things, like what they had for lunch. Silly little things like that." Katherine smiles at those memories as she used to review some of the guys just for fun. The one person she was never able to interview was her uncle Happy.
" Wow, I never realized how much being a journalist meant to you."Tracy said with a small smile." Did you ever wrote for your High school paper?"
Katherine nods her head. " All four years, and I plan on doing it for the next three years and then after College, I am gonna move back home and start working at the Charming Newspaper." Katherine said as she grabbed her purse, her cell phone and her keys.
" Are you still thinking of going back home during the summer?"
Katherine just shrugs her shoulders as she opens the door to their dorm." I don't know maybe. I haven't really thought about it . I gotta get to class. I will see you later." Katherine said as she walked out of the dorm and headed out towards her car.
Katherine hasn't been home since the Holidays last year and as much as she loves being around her family and the club, she's just not sure if that life is really for her. She always knew her brothers would always choose the club life over a normal life, especially Abel. But a life of Samcro isn't what Katherine wanted. She wanted more. She wanted a life of her own.
Back in Charming Tara was awaken by the smell of eggs, Bacon and potatoes along with fresh coffee. She sat up as she couldn't help but smile as she watched Jax placed the breakfast tray over her legs as she sat up further against the headboard. " Breakfast in bed? What did I do to deserve this?" She asked as she took a drink of her coffee.
" Nothing really, I just thought I would do something special for you that's all." Jax said softly with a grin as he leans down and kisses her passionately and deeply." Thank you for making me the luckiest man for twenty years babe." He whispers against her lips as he kisses her more passionately and even harder this time as he groans against her lips.
" Mhmmm, anytime." Tara responded back with a smirk as she kisses him quickly before she took a bite of her eggs.
" So, have you heard from Katherine yet?" Jax asked as he stole a piece of bacon off of Tara's plate.
Tara shook her head as she took another drink of her coffee." Not yet. But I'm sure she'll call though, when she's not so busy."
" Yeah probably, I should get to the clubhouse soon. We got church and then we gotta meet up with Alverz at Disoa." Jax said as he put his cut on and leans down and kisses her gently and tenderly." I will see you later babe."
" Bye baby." Tara said as she kisses him back and watched him walk out of their room.
After class Katherine walked into the student lodge when she noticed Jason Wilson, a fellow classmate the Editor for the blaze. Katherine took a deep breath as she walked over to him." Hey Jason." She said with a friendly smile.
" Hey Katherine." He replied back with a smile.
" Hey, I was wondering if you were able to get my report, the one I did where I interviewed the football team, into this week's newspaper?" Katherine asked. She remembered handing the report in. She just hope Jason was able to fit into the paper.
" Yeah, it's in and I gotta admit. It was good. Your defintently a good reporter. Now I got a question for you." Jason said with a smirk.
" What?" Katherine asked as she crossed her arms over her chest as she waits for his question.
" Would you go out to dinner with me?" He asked with a huge grin over his face.
For months now ever since Katherine started writing for the Blaze, Jason has been trying to ask Katherine out and as always Katherine has been turning him down. Katherine brought her shoulders up as she shook her head. " Nope, sorry. " She answered as she dropped her shoulders and walked away from him as she went towards the counter and orders herself a coffee.
" Oh, come on Kat. Just go out to dinner with me and I promise, I will be on my best behavior. "
Katherine sighs deeply as she had to think about it for a moment." You promise to keep your hands to yourself and do you also promise never ask me questions about where I am from? Or questions about my parents or my family?" Katherine questioned as she crossed her arms over her chest. As much as Katherine loves her parents and her whole entire family. She doesn't like talking about them with other people mainly because of the life she grew up in and she's trying her hardest to keep her life seperate from theirs.
Jason nods his head as he answer her questions." Like I said, I will be on my best behavior.I also promise to never ask questions about your personal life. I won't even bring up your parents or your family." He answered with a grin on his face.
Katherine nods her head as she was pleased with answer." Pick me tonight around seven and don't be late." She said as she turned around and walked away from his table as she walked up to the counter and ordered her coffee before heading back to her dorms so she can started studying for a huge history test she's gonna be taking tomorrow.
As Jason watched Katherine walk out of the student lodge he leans back against his chair as he placed both hands against the back of his head with a huge grin on his face as he still couldn't belive that Katherine Grace Knowles, actually agreed to go out to dinner with him tonight.
