"So, the Automat has pecan pie now?" Loki noticed as he took his piece. "Did you finally tire of key lime after all those eons?"

"Yeah, I took some time off to see things from a new perspective, sorta refresh my mind, and I figured now that we've got a new variety of timelines branching, a new variety of pie flavors would be fitting." Mobius answered, taking a bite of his pie. "We've got a flavor of the day thing going on, upped the limit to one slice per day: yesterday's flavor was cherry, tomorrow's is chocolate cream, today's was supposed to be strawberry rhubarb... but when I heard we were springing you, I sprung for the pecan, since you told me nuts are like candy for you."

"Marvelous choice, it's delicious. So, how's life on the timeline, Mobius?" Loki asked his best friend. "You finally tried out that jet ski, did you?"

"I did, and it was amazing! Man, what a thrill!" Mobius exclaimed. "But I don't think I need to say anymore, because next time, you're riding with me!"

"Ehehe. Oh, am I? Sounds like fun!"

"Yeah. It must have been... were you worried about me, about us, all by yourself in the middle of space for so long?"

"At first, but I could actually see you on the timeline from there, so my worries were put to rest."

"You could? Then why did you ask me if you already knew?"

"I wanted to hear the words from you in person, Mobius. I haven't spoken to anyone in such a long time, I'm... ecstatic that I have the chance again!"

"See, I knew he missed you too." B-15 remarked.

"Yeah, Loki, I can see how you'd miss talking..." Mobius sassed, but he added in earnest. "I mean, it's probably really easy to take just being able to speak with someone for granted."

"I mean, if I wasn't focusing all of my power on keeping the timelines alive, I'd have sent a duplicate of myself to meet with you all..."

"We understand." Sylvie replied, pressing her forehead to his. "You did brilliant, Loki."

"Yeah, joking aside, what you did for us, for all those people on the timelines..." Mobius sighed. "It was very brave and selfless of you; you've grown and matured so much since I met you, it's crazy! I might not be your father, Loki, but I'm sure your family would be damn proud of you: I know I am!"

Loki beamed and took another bite of pie, trying to hide his choked up reaction. Mobius just beamed back and ruffled his friend's hair, who flipped it back behind his head, chuckling as the happy tears came streaming down. "Thank you."

"Hey guys, we just found a reading of He Who Remains's temporal aura on the sacred timeline!" Casey announced.

"Really?" Mobius asked. "That's the first time he's shown up on the main timeline: he usually just pops up on the branches occasionally."

"What time period is he in?" Loki questioned.

"2027 AD!" OB answered him. "But... there appears to be more than one signature here... like he's got a group of variants with him!"

"He's amassing an army! War is coming; we have to stop them before they become too great!"

"Alright, let's go get him!" After Mobius quickly finished his pie, he joined Loki, Sylvie, and B-15 out on the field.

"Mobius, you're coming with us?" Loki noticed. "Are you coming out of retirement, or did you just miss going on missions with me as well?"

Mobius shrugged. "Maybe both. TVA agent or not, I still feel obligated to protect the timelines."

"Still, I think we need even more people than you four to take on these guys!" Ouroboros warned from the TVA. "We're reading five separate auras from the same spot!"

"Yeah, and I'm not much of a fighter, as you guys know by now. Hey Loki, maybe we could go recruit your brother? The Avengers are... well, kinda split up at this point in time, but Thor..."

"Thor's alive?"

"Yeah, he's alive. He's probably out adventuring in space now, but the people in New Asgard should know where!"

"New Asgard?" Sylvie repeated.

"Yeah, after Ragnarok, the surviving Asgardians resettled in the hamlet formerly known as Tønsberg, Norway."

"Where Odin and his army fought off the Frost Giants during the war." Loki added.

"Yup, that's the one!"

"Then let's be off" Loki opened a portal, but Mobius interrupted.

"Hold on! Norway is across the water, isn't it?"

Loki grinned. "Why Mobius, did you have a particular mode of transportation in mind to get us there?"

"You bet your sweet bippy I do! Oh, but… it can only hold three adult riders…"

B-15 sighed. "Then I'll meet you there."

She took another time door to Norway before the gang hopped on Mobius's jet ski, sailing across the seas onboard the SS Glorious Purpose on their way to New Asgard, enjoying the cool breeze across their faces and the wind in their hair. As they exited the water vehicle, Loki dried them off with magic, and when they rejoined B-15, they proceeded to look around for information.

"Any Asgardians in particular we're looking for?" Sylvie wondered.

"Heimdall will know where Thor is, if anyone!" Loki answered. "He sees everything in the nine realms, short of what's shrouded with magic!"

"Oh, uh, actually, Heimdall is dead." Mobius stated.

"Oh. Well, that complicates things. He was lost to Ragnarok, I take it?"

"No, Thanos killed him. Wait, hold on... Loki, I thought you said you could see everything on the timelines!"

"You do realize there were numerous timelines growing at an infinite rate all around me! I mainly focused on you and Sylvie and our friends… and also…" Loki shook his head. "Just because I'm a god doesn't make me omniscient!"

"It's true, Mobius." Ouroboros agreed through the comms. "No one can see everything, everywhere, all at once: it would overload his brain!"

"So who else is there?" Loki pondered. "The Allfather and the Queen are dead, Heimdall is dead... maybe Sif or the Warriors Three would know?"

"The Warriors Three are dead too, but Sif... I don't think she's seen Thor in years, and I don't know where she lives."

"Then perhaps one of the servants, or one of the Einherjar? Mobius, I don't see anything around here that resembles a palace."

"Then we'll ask around. Come on!"

As they walked on, Mobius pointed out a man in a blue vest littered with colorful Asgard-themed buttons, leading a group of tourists.

Loki raised an eyebrow. "Are they seriously giving tour guides here?"

"I know, pretty lucky find, huh?" Mobius replied.

Loki rolled his eyes. "But we're still on Midgard, not the real Asgard, and I for one don't appreciate the Midgardians strolling around and snapping photographs of my people and their artifacts and possessions like they're at a zoo or a museum!"

"Hey, whatever gets us to the palace faster!" Sylvie argued. "They know who you are, 'Prince Loki': go ask him for directions."

"Fine. Excuse me." Loki walked through the crowd and peered down at the man's nametag. "I'm terribly sorry to interrupt, Darryl, but could you direct us to the palace?"

"Please, sir, be patient: the palace doesn't come until the end of t-"

"P-Prince Loki!" One of the native Asgardians exclaimed. "He's alive- again!"

"Hello!" Loki greeted. "Could you tell me where the palace is in this poor man's Asgard, or better yet, where my brother is?"

"Um, Prince Thor's not here, but the palace is there, and the king probably knows where he is!"

"The king? Wait, if Thor's still the prince… who's the king!?"

"King Valkyrie; uhm, a lot has changed since we last saw you, Prince Loki."

"Valkyrie?" Loki and Sylvie simultaneously repeated.

"It's a long story, but she's the last living Valkyrie." Mobius explained.

"Come on, let's go see her!" Sylvie urged them.

When they reached the palace, they found King Valkyrie in the middle of a meeting. She looked over and blinked. "Ah, finally, something to break up the boredom!"

"Pardon the interruption, 'King' Valkyrie, do you know where Thor is?"

She shrugged. "In space, somewhere."

"I know that, but where specifically?"

"I dunno, he moves around a lot. Try asking Axl?"

"Axl?"

"Axl Heimdallson: he's got his father's eyes."

"Oh, well that uncomplicates things. Where can we find him?"

As Valkyrie gave Loki the information, Sylvie eyed her blade, the famed Dragonfang. "So... you're a legendary Valkyrie?"

"Yeah."

"How many dragons have you killed?"

"Mmm... six."

"Epic! Do you know where we could find a dragon to fight?"

"Hey, what happened to 'the mission always comes first?'" Loki reminded her.

"I'm not asking for now, later! So, what exactly are the requirements for joining the Valkyries? How many dragons do I need to kill?"

King Valkyrie smirked. "I like her."

"Let's recruit her; she seems strong!" Sylvie suggested after they left the palace.

"I saw her in the TVA footage of my life." Loki recalled. "She fought alongside Thor and me... and I think the Hulk?"

"Yep, go Team Revengers!" Mobius cheered.

Soon, they reached the house where Axl and his mom lived.

"You're alive?" His mother Grace spoke first.

"Sure he is, Mum, you know Loki's legendary for cheating death!" The teenage boy recalled. "You're looking for your brother? I can tell him." Axl gladly activated his sensory powers, linking to Thor's mind.

"Thor!"

"Axl, we're in the middle of a battle right now?" Thor told him as he and a young girl fought off a team of huge aliens.

"Can you tell me where you are, at least? Your brother is looking for you!"

"I'm on the planet... wait... WHAT?"

"Your brother Loki's looking for you. ...Uh, Thor? Hello?"

After a few moments of silence, the rainbow-colored light of the Bifrost beamed down outside of Axl's house.

"That'd be him." Mobius said.

"That was the Bifrost, wasn't it?" Sylvie figured. "I've never had the chance to travel by it, only via TemPad."

"Alright, here we go." Loki spoke to himself, hesitantly stepping towards the door, but when he saw Thor at the other side, he reflexively held up a finger, and his brother froze.

"What did you just do?" B-15 questioned Loki as she and the others looked around in confusion.

"I've stopped time for everyone except the four of us." Loki explained.

"Since when could you stop time? Did you learn from holding the timelines?" Mobius guessed. "Even our time sticks can't stop someone in time completely!"

"Actually, it came from that time slipping I experienced: I learned to control it, and now I have complete control of time: not only can I freeze it, I can freely travel through time and space, to the past, present, and future."

"Wow, that's amazing! You're gonna make all of our technology obsolete at this rate!"

Loki turned back to Thor and took a deep breath.

"Nervous?" Sylvie asked.

"You know the last time I saw Thor, he was dragging me back home in chains and a muzzle, after I had just tried to take over his favorite realm with an alien army... and I stabbed him."

"Oof... talk about a rocky relationship!"

"But that was 15 years ago from the time we're in now, and we're right here with you if you need us." Mobius comforted, putting a hand on his shoulder. "Yeah, Thor might be confused and angry to see you alive after he'd seen you die again, but putting it off won't do either of you any good."

Sylvie nodded and put her hand on his other shoulder. "Yeah, and you said your brother's soft: I'm sure he can't stay mad at you for 15 years, especially after we tell him you saved countless people across time."

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure saving timelines full of people trumps the amount that your alien army killed in New York." Mobius added."

"Plus if you say or do something stupid, you can just go back in time and undo it, right?"

"Hey, be nice." Mobius chided her. "Let's stick to words of encouragement, okay?"

"Those were words of encouragement: Loki, honestly, I think you're the one who's amazing!"

Loki beamed again at the praise, surprised at the sudden outright compliment from her.

"Yeah, and you've got a point about that power taking some of the pressure off." Mobius agreed. "Go on Loki, you've got this."

Loki nodded and exhaled. He unfroze time, and Thor noticed Loki, still in his silky time god clothing. He immediately stomped up to his younger brother, grabbing the back of his head!

B-15 moved her hand towards her time stick, but Loki waved her off. "Don't worry, this is just how my brother says hi."

Thor stared his brother in the eyes without saying a word. After a few seconds, he began to pat and poke Loki in different places.

"Now what's he doing?" B-15 wondered.

"Making sure Loki's real and not an illusion." Mobius answered.

"Ahhh, that figures." Sylvie said.

Loki chuckled as Thor continued his inspection, only allowing the tickling due to his acquired touch deprivation from his seemingly endless period of timeline sitting, and Thor finally stopped.

"You're real..." Thor mumbled in disbelief. "How...!?"

"It's me, Brother." Loki told Thor. "I'm here. Now, before I ask something of you, I'd like to remind you that you owe me."

"What? What do I owe you!?"

"One of these." Loki answered with a hug, his brother gladly returning the gesture, and they both began to weep with joy. Thor patted his brother on the back, and then he grabbed and shook his brother's wrists, checking for hidden daggers just in case. Finding none, he wrapped his arms around Loki once more, overjoyed that his brother had truly returned.
