When their costumes came in, Shu saw the pure joy in the eyes of his dorm's students. Showing off the smallest modifications to amplify their quirk to small design details. Were pointed out among the gossiping and sheeting one after another that day.
"I can't wait for our first heroics lessons."
"I am leaning towards workplace training or the sports festival."
"What do you think the final exam will be like?"
"How about the U.A. school festival?"
Were of many statements made among the students that were already making plans on what they were doing. Who was going to do what we're being sorted into when the actual event took place. Put a smile on Shu's face since he only heard about this from his mother. Growing up in the States and away from the public was a simpler life without a flash of a camera. Small town atmosphere he lived in had a school that didn't sort one by their quirk into hero and support. You were raised side by side while learning to help one another.
"Mr. Ito," One of his students addressed him, "Will you be helping out with any of these events?"
He didn't want to answer right away when recalled a certain homeroom teacher and his offers. Always being asked if he wanted to help outside of his role as an dormitory advisor. Followed by an ulterior motive with a romantic sense from this person.
"Someone asked about me?" He acted dumb.
"No," The student pointed out, "We just thought you should be given a bigger role than the one you have here."
"The one I have here is good enough," He assured them, "Since caring and watching you all as you become heroes. Is good enough for me as g about your lives, ok?"
This got him the usual answer from them all about him needing to have a life of his own, or do more than play nurse maid and a shoulder to cry on. Which had him sighing before he quieted each one of them down. Avoiding the promise of Sunday dates with the youngest of Endeavor.
"Do your homework before lights out," He reminds them, "So costumes up and pencils out."
The whines and groans that followed when snapping of cases being opened followed. He pointed out where supplies to do one's homework were stored and where storage cases go. Not accepting a single excuse about one wanting to keep theirs. Before he made his way around the communal areas to see if they were kept tidy. Having to check to see if his new rules of keeping a shared spac clean had worked. Which seem to work with the girls and boys washrooms in an orderly manner. Along with the laundry area, where students cleaned their spoiled clothes and supplies could be found.
Had him with extra time on his hands to video chat with Shoto and his mom before room check. To his room he went while figuring out what he was going to talk about with Shoto. He knew the young man had an active life and couldn't always visit. Habit both formed to just call each other every now and then was started up. Which started to work besides trying to make Sundays actual times to go out. This warmed Shu's heart so much that he felt like he was on cloud nine now. To only have that mood crash and burn when he checked his private DMs in the privacy of his room.
"Why?" He found one from THAT PERSON.
He dared open the chat and found a rather uncomfortable picture of a certain homeroom teacher. Way he posed without a stitch of clothing was the way a bouquet of roses was held. Followed by the caption had Shu wanting to drown himself in bottom of a bottle.
"Delete." He erased the chat log after saving a copy.
He ended up putting his phone on a stand on his bed's side table before calling his mom. Laying on the bed while waiting for her to pick up gave him time to think a little. What came to mind was him ready to inform her about who was seeing romantically.
"Mushi mushi?" Aisling's face and voice had him smiling.
He breathed and started the conversation with a question about her day and how she was. She brought up how she bumped into Rei at the market. Two got to talking and she discovered that Shoto was seeing someone. This set the foundation for what he was going to confess to her.
"I am that someone." He spoke in one breath.
"Congrats!" His mother smiled, "Wait till I tell your dad."
"Better than you say it coming from a newsprint." He shrugged.
The rest of their conversation was short since she had a date night with Toshinori. Had her wishing him luck with Shoto before hanging up on her end. He gulped hard and ended up dialing Shoto's private number before the ringing started. Waiting for Shoto to pick up always worried him in ways. Had him wanting to calm his nerves the wrong way as stared at the screen. Waiting for an actual face to show up and not get sent a voice message. Which had him about to hang up after the third ring out of sheer frustration. When he heard a button being pressed and someone give him a moment to get presentable. Words as a raspy mumble followed by a rustle before the actual image showed.
"Sorry," Shoto was running a towel through his hair, "You caught me just coming out of the shower."
"Trying to seduce me?" Shu teased.
"More like I didn't want to miss another call from you," Shoto was relieved to see Shu, "Between public appearances and hero work, the times I get to you are Sunday now."
"I better be the only person," Shu wasn't quitting with the jokes, "Who catches you with your pants down."
Shoto couldn't help but laugh when he pointed out he was always the only person to do that. Which he pointed out he was wearing when he showed his full view. Only piece of clothing he had on was a pair of briefs and a towel around his neck.
"Only thing I could pull on," Shoto adjusted the view of his phone, "When I heard my phone ringing."
"You're tempting me," Shu bit the inside of his cheek, "Really bad."
Two ended up laughing before Shu told Shoto he told his mom about them after she admitted about knowing. Showing support he couldn't describe to Shoto when he spoke of it. Which had Shoto smiling and stating he just got done telling his own family. His dad froze from the shock of the news and his siblings were surprised.

Being able to sleep within the arms of a man one had come to love is a heartwarming thing. There laid Shoto a inch or two away from him on his side just sound asleep. In one of Shu's night shirts with All Might's face plastered on the front. Reminding him of the night, the two spent ending their latest date night. Trail of clothing led to the bed they now share made Shu seek out his phone. The sudden movement upward to the shelf where the phone rested.
"Hmm." Shoto burrows into Shu's side with eyes opening.
"Just calling my sponsor," Shu whispered, "Not like I am in any position to see him in person."
"May I meet him?" Shoto sat up now fully awake, "I know you're always talking about him when meeting with me."
"Dressed like that?" Shu pointed out his state of dress.
Shoto ended up blankly processing what they two just got doing after the date in Shu's room. Talking the two did just hours before while hands were held as they talked around. Some were about Shoto warning Shu about his family while describing them. His mother and sister were looking forward to meeting Shu. His brother and father were curious in their own ways. Another was Shu saying how his parents looked forward to seeing Shoto. Anything else was just how they were going about this.
"…." Blush that coated Shoto's face when he recalled why he was wearing Shu's clothes.
"Go back to sleep," Shu encouraged Shoto, "We'll do a rain check on meeting my sponsor?"
Shoto ended up not agreeing with him when he ended up just staring at him as he dialed, and place the phone back above their heads. Which linked up to a speaker with microphone capabilities beside it. Answering without looking at the face that greeted them and had Shoto sitting up. Where a face came into the person's view and had reviewing who they were.
"You're the son of retired Pro- Hero Yoroi Musha." Shoto was shocked over the reveal.
"You weren't kidding," This person waved at Shoto, "I am just plain Vice Principal Koshi."
"Where do I start?" Shu asked while watching Shoto, "I have an Unauthorized guest in my room or broke my celibacy vow."
"Second one can be forgiven and like I told you before," Koshi was amused, "Future you wanted with him is worth it, everything is ok."
"Am I missing something?" Shoto looked at the screen then Shu.
"Shu took a view of celibacy when he started seeing you," Koshi explained, "Didn't want to have intercourse of any kind until he knew you two were serious."
"So are we?" Shoto asked.
"Finer details need to be worked out," Shu winked at Shoto, "I am ready for your drama."
Koshi was the one that hung up when Shoto was the one that launched himself at Shu. Snuggling into Shu's side with the covering being shifted around. Which was welcomed by Shu when he wrapped an arm around him.
"Next Sunday?" Shoto asked him.
"Brunch here I come." Shu asked him.
