It was taking too long.
Ron wanted nothing more in the world but for this meeting to end.
He was sweating cold bullets down his neck, and whenever the wind passed, it felt like a winter gale. His leg wouldn't stop bouncing.
Merlin knows what would happen if he stopped moving his leg.
He wasn't even listening to whatever was being said in the meeting at this point. All he wanted to do was to bolt out of the room with his stomach feeling like lead was occupying it.
Was it minutes? hours? Ron had no idea, but he was relieved when he heard, "Meeting adjourned."
He wasted no time as he ran from his chair and went to a nearby restroom, but as his luck would have it, there was already a queue for it.
"Shite!" Ron cursed under his breath as he ran outside.
"The shop!" Ron said to himself as he ran to the joke shop. There were a lot of people today and if he could, Ron would've pushed them around and ran.
But he was better than that now.
Ron speed walked, jogged, and sprinted when he could reach the shop faster. He was now clenching his body and praying he could make it.
Once he saw the shop, he immediately entered and was about to be greeted by his brother.
"Ron! What's with the—" Before George could finish his sentence Ron pushed him aside.
"Out of my way!" Ron said as he ran to the backroom where the restroom was situated.
After a few moments and a flush, Ron came out of the room feeling refreshed and relieved. He walked back to the front and saw George manning the counter with a cup of coffee in hand. He stared at his brother before turning his attention back to his drink.
"Nasty."
