(Que Dragon Soul English Version)
Don't stop, don't stop, we're in luck now
Don't stop there's so much to be found
We can find paradise, all we have to do is go, go
Free your soul!
The first scene showed Planet Vegeta being destroyed, before a lone space pod escaped the planets destruction, before making its way to a new planet.
The next scene showed Arlic and Rimuru, in his human form, staring down each other with smiles on their faces, before both of them flared up their powers and a bright flash of light appeared, blinding everything around them. The title of the story appeared in the center of the screen.
Mysteries abound, made of a deep energy (Energy)
Foes all around, but I will go fearless and free
Arlic flew across the sky, with Rimuru in slime form on his shoulder, as both of them were smiling at the new world the two of them called home, before they were joined by all of the friends they have made in this world.
I'll give you strength, you give me love
That's how we live (That's how we live)
Arlic and Rimuru sat next to each other as they were eating a huge feast offered to them, but then paused when Shion came up from behind Arlic and hugged him, pressing her breasts onto his back, much to his embarrassment. Shuna came up to his side, holding onto him and giving him a flirtatious smirk, causing Shion to glare angrily at her.
Rimuru looked at him in slight envy, but then paused when a bunch of goblins came and hugged him from all sides, much to his embarrassment.
Our courage won't fade if you're with me
My enemies will never win
In a darkly lit room, the four Demon Lord Clayman, Carrion, Frey, and Milim watched a crystal ball that displayed an image of both Arlic and Rimuru, fascinated looks on their faces.
We will fight for love and glory
We will live to tell the story
Arlic charged head first into an army of Orcs, blowing several of them away with a single powerful punch. He yelled and unleashed a wave of power that blew back almost all of them. Rimuru dodged several strikes from the Orc Lord Geld, before turning into his Slime form and activating the Skill Predator, completely enveloping the large Orc.
The screen was split in two as one half showed Turtles and the other half showed Lord Slug, both having malicious smirks on their faces. Both halves then changed to where one side then showed Doctor Wheelo and the other half showed Cooler.
There is nothing we can't live through, nothing ever dies
We will rise again!
Milim looked down at Arlic from on top of a cliff with a battle hungry grin, while the young Saiyan looked up at her with a smirk, both of them excited for an inevitable clash. They both flew at each other and charged, before their fists collided with each other and created a powerful shockwave that shook the land.
Don't stop, don't stop, we're in luck now
Don't stop, keep your spirit proud
Benimaru slashed his sword at a few armored alien warriors, releasing a wave of black fire, pushing them back. He looked up and saw Lord Slug looking down at him with smirk, before he fired an eye laser blast at him, forcing him to dodge.
Turles stood across from Soei and Hakurou, before he smirked and sent an energy barrage at them, forcing them to jump out of the way. He turned around to see Shion coming at him with her large sword, but he managed to catch it with his bare hands.
And ride upon the wind, all we have to do is go
Rimuru flew up high and stared up at a large force of warriors that hovered above him. He gave a confident smirk as he held up his hand, then suddenly an intense surge of black lightning came crashing down upon all of them. He then dodged a few energy shots from Doctor Wheelo's monstrous mechanical form as it floated above him.
Don't stop, don't stop, we're in luck now
Don't stop there's so much to be found
The next scene showed Arlic battling against the Cooler Armored Squadron single-handedly, before blowing them all back with a surge of his power. He looked up and glared at Cooler, who hovered above him with a condescending smirk, letting some of his power leek out.
Arlic growled angrily at the vile brother of Frieza, before he charged up straight towards him. The two of them clashed and started throwing fists and kicks at each other, before they parted and both fired an energy attack and they collided.
What Arlic didn't realize was that a faint golden glow surrounded him.
We can find paradise, all we have to do is go, go
Free your soul
The final scene showed Rimuru and Arlic standing next to each other in front of their town in the Forest of Jura, smiling at the home they have built for themselves here, with all their friends and allies in the Jura Tempest Federation standing by them.
Dragon Soul!
(End Song)
Planet Vegeta...
A lone Saiyan space pod flew the Wacom of space, before it eventually arrived within the vicinity of Planet Vegeta. It soared through the atmosphere, until it flew directly above a city and landed right on top of a landing platform on the building. A soft-landing pad specifically designed for the pod managed to cushion the impact to not cause damage.
The pod opened up and revealed a young Saiyan warrior, about in his early twenties, exiting from it. He wore a blue body suit with white boots and gloves, and the traditional Saiyan armor with shoulder and hip guards, and a blue scouter over his right eye. He has black eyes and black hair that would have reached his shoulders if it wasn't slightly spiked up from the sides.
A small orange alien wearing the same armor as him ran up to him. "Welcome back, Arlic." The alien said happily. "You arrived just on time."
"Cutting it a bit close there." Arlic said with a sigh. "Honestly, I was a little busy by the time the summons for all Saiyans to come back home was heard."
"Oh, so you were off on another mission, huh?" The little alien asked. "So, how did it go?"
"What do you think?" Arlic said with a scoff.
"Oh...I see." The little alien said glumly, before perking back up again. "Well, hey, you'll get 'em next time!"
Arlic smiled at the little alien guy, before noticed something about him. "Hey, where's your scouter?"
"Oh." The little alien chuckled sheepishly. "Well, mine got busted and I'm still waiting for a replacement."
"Here." Arlic said simply as he tossed him his own scouter, much to the little alien's surprise. "You can take mine. I don't need it anymore."
"Wait, are you sure?" The little alien asked with concern.
"Don't worry about it." Arlic said as he was about to walk off, but paused with a curious look. "Oh, that reminds me, has BArdock recovered from his injuries from Planet Kanassa?"
"He did, and he left for Planet Meek not that long ago to catch up with the rest of his crew." The orange alien said with a msile, but then paused when something came to mind. "Although, I did here that he just returned, but he was all alone without his crew."
"I see. That's rather odd." Arlic said in confusion.
"Well, what do we have hear?"
The little alien looked back in slight fear as sweat rolled down his, while Arlic just gave a glare as two more figures walked up to them. One was a purple-skinned alien with a fin on his head, while the other one was blue and had an orange beard.
"Look who decided to come back home." The blue-skinned alien said with a condescending smirk. "Little Arlic, or should we say...Saiyan Zero, Arlic." That name seemed to struck as Arlic gained an angry look on his face.
"Let me guess; you couldn't even kill a single soul on your latest assignment, like always." The purple-skinned alien said with a sneer. "Honestly, you Saiyans were pathetic before, but you're so low in the pecking order that it's honestly just sad."
Arlic lightly growled at each of them, honestly getting sick of hearing these two talk, but he didn't let them bait him; they weren't worth his time. He just scoffed at them and continued walking, not even bothering giving them a second look.
This seemed to have struck a nerve in the purple-skinned alien as he tried to stop him from leaving. "Hey, don't you turn your back on me!" However, he was stopped when the blue-skinned alien grabbed his shoulder.
"Take it easy. His time is coming; for him, and the rest of these monkeys." The blue alien with a sneer, causing the purple alien to calm down and give a sinister look of glee.

Arlic continued trekking through the halls of the building, on the way to his barracks. After a long time being spent away from home, he was proud to be relaxing, at last. As he continued to walk, he noticed out the window that several more Saiyan pods were returning to the planet due to the order to come home.
'Why would they cut all of our missions to a halt and have us return so soon?' Arlic thought to himself. 'Hardly sounds like smart play.'
As Arlic continued to walk, he noticed various other Saiyans pass him by, but they didn't greet him in a friendly manner. Instead, they looked at him in shame, almost with disdain, as well. Each of them glared as they passed him by, as if he was the absolute worst thing on this world.
In their minds, they're kind of right. There was a reason Arlic earned the name of Saiyan Zero.
Saiyans are bred for combat, for destruction, even when they are born. They strive to conquer worlds and kill the inhabitants, all with their amazing power and skills. It was an empire built upon the massacre of the inhabitants of this universe.
But Arlic was different.
The reason he was called Saiyan Zero was because of two simple facts. The first is that he has conquered zero planets, and the second is that he killed zero people whenever he went out on missions.
Such a thing has earned him the title of being the lowest a low-class Saiyan can go, being called a Zero. To not conquer a single planet, or claim even a single life, is seen as the ultimate disgrace for their kind. To them, Arlic is a blight on their legacy and if it were up to them, he'd be exterminated for being such a failure.
He would have been at a young age, too, if not for the fact that he actually made some friends that stood by him and kept the other Saiyans off his back; Bardock, and his team. They stood by him every step of the way, and have even become good friends to him, almost like a second family. He wasn't sure why they were so fond of him, or why they were so friendly, but he wasn't complaining. Sometimes it was good to have friends.
They even offered to make him an official part of their crew, and while he was grateful for it, he refused. He'd much rather stick to his own thing, and there's a perfectly good reason for it.
He doesn't want any witnesses to his true strength.
While it is true that he was declared a Zero, and that he never conquered a planet or killed anyone on his missions, it did not mean he was weak; not at all. In fact, all these Saiyans that looked at him with disdain would be pretty shocked if they found out that he was stronger than any of them.
You see, all those worlds he traveled to, the ones he 'failed' to conquer, he was actually training there, learning from the inhabitants. What's the point of exterminating an entire race, if they can show someone new feats of strength that they have yet to achieve. He spent long moments on those planets and learned all their secrets and their techniques, trying to become the strongest Saiyan he can be. They put him through so much hellish training, so much so that he could very well outclass some of the elite warriors.
After his training was done, he would thank them for the training and would return home, giving a somewhat false report in saying that the inhabitants were just too strong for him and he couldn't get the job done. They would see it as a failure, unaware that each time he came back home, he was secretly getting stronger by the moment.
Still though, he's not going to reveal that, not any time soon, at the moment. He needs to get stronger, and then when the time is right, he'll show his people that he is not some Zero, but a true proud Saiyan warrior.
A Saiyan warrior who can prove that you don't need to be a heartless killer to be strong.
As Arlic continued to walk, he noticed something up ahead. It appeared to be a Saiyan in green armor, but it was broken apart, and he seemed to be in really bad shape. He instantly recognized this particular Saiyan as he got closer.
"Bardock!" Arlic screamed in shock as he saw the bloody and bruised form of his friend as he leaned against a wall for support. He instantly ran up to him and tried holding him up.
Bardock weakly opened his eyes and looked at the young Saiyan as he held him up. "Arlic...you're still here."
"We need to get you to recovery, pronto!" Arlic said in panic. "Where's Tora, Fasha, Shugesh, and Borgos?"
"They're...They're gone." Bardock said as he looked down in remembrance.
"What?!" Arlic exclaimed in shock.
"My whole crew...they're all dead. They were ambushed...by Dodoria and...some of his elite fighters." Bardock said as he clenched his side in slight pain. "When I got there...I took out the scum soldiers...but Dodoria blasted me away. I was lucky to survive." He glared as he looked at Arlic in the eye. "Frieza was the one who ordered them to do it!"
"But...but why?!" Arlic exclaimed in disbelief. "The Saiyans have served Frieza for so long, why would he do that?!"
"Because...he's scared...of us." Bardock said as he glared harder. "We're becoming too strong! Frieza is scared that we're going to outgrow him. That we'll overthrow him."
"Wait, are you serious?" Arlic asked in shock. "He then realized something that made his blood run cold. "Wait, the order every Saiyan received, telling them to come back home...you don't think..."
"I know." Bardock said as he looked out the window and up at the sky. "He's going to exterminate us. He's going to destroy the whole planet, and every Saiyan that's on it."
"Oh no!" Arlic exclaimed in shock, before he gained an angered look. "Damn, that monster! We need to warn everyone!"
"I tried...but they wouldn't listen!" Bardock said angrily.
"Well...then we'll gather those who will listen!" Arlic exclaimed in desperation. "We'll gather a strong fighting force and launch a counter attack! The battle will surely get the others attention and then they'll have to listen to us!"
"There's no time!" Bardock exclaimed, causing Arlic to flinch in shock. "He's already here." Both Saiyans looked out the window and stared up into the sky, seeing nothing but the red sky, but they could feel the weight of Frieza's power itching closer and closer.
"I can't believe it." Arlic whispered in dismay, before looking back at Bardock. "What about your son? We have to do something!"
"Kakarot's already left the planet. He's safe." Bardock said, and Arlic could've sworn he saw a gentle smile on his face. It soon changed back as he glanced hard at the young Saiyan Zero. "And you need to get safe too, Arlic. You need to get off this planet immediately."
"What?! And leave you behind?! No way!" Arlic exclaimed in anger. "I'm not leaving without you!"
"Listen to me, I'm going after Frieza, and I need you far away as possible!" Bardock exclaimed angrily.
"No way, I'm not letting you fight that monster alone!" Arlic argued back. "We'll fight him together!"
BAM!
"Gah!" Arlic gasped in pain as he looked down and noticed Bardock buried his fist right into his stomach, knocking the wind out of him. "Bardock...you bastard." A few seconds later, Arlic was knocked unconscious and collapsed to the ground.
"I'm sorry, Arlic, but you're too important to die here." Bardock said gently, as he smiled down at the unconscious Saiyan. "I really wished I could have seen the warrior you would have become. You would have made the whole Saiyan race proud."
/
Arlic groaned as he felt everything shake around him. He opened his eyes and noticed that he was back on his space pod, and looking out the window he saw that he was just leaving Planet Vegeta's atmosphere.
"Oh no." Arlic whispered in fear, before he started pressing random buttons. "Come on, you stupid pile of scrap! Send me back! I gotta help him!"
"Unable to comply. Authorization has been overridden." The space pod's computer said.
"No!" Arlic said in dismay. It was too late to just destroy the pod and fly back, as he was now in space and Planet Vegeta was getting farther by the second. "DAMN YOU, BARDOCK!"
/
"Frieza, I'm coming for you, you self-serving murderous traitor! It's over!"
"LONG LIVE, LORD FRIEZA!"
Bardock hovered just above the Saiyan home world, still battered and bruised up, but even more-so after he just fought off some of Frieza's men as he flew up to his spaceship. He smirked as he stared face to face with the evil tyrant as he sat down floating on top of his ship in his floating chair.
"No way, Frieza." Bardock said with a smirk. "You lived long enough! Actually it's been too long, for my taste!"
Frieza just held a stoic face as he held up his finger, which had a tiny glowing orange energy dot floating on it. The rest of his forces all looked towards their leader in awe and fear, just wondering what he was gonna do to this lowly Saiyan that dared challenge him.
"Frieza, listen up! We quit, all of us!" Bardock exclaimed with a grin. "Got it! We don't work for you anymore! We're free! You can find someone else to do your dirty work!"
Frieza said nothing as he held up his index finger that had the glowing dot on it higher.
"Oh, yeah. There's one last thing!" Bardock gathered all the energy he had left into the pal of his hand, creating an energy ball in it. "This is for all the people we killed in your name! Here...HAVE IT!" Bardock threw the energy ball right at Frieza, hoping to end his reign of terror once and for all.
"Hehehe...HAHAHAHA!" Frieza laughed maniacally as the small dot of energy began to expand until it was the size of a miniature sun, and still growing. The immense size of it easily destroyed the energy sphere attack that BArdock unleashed.
The Saiyan warrior gasped in shock as he watched his attack dissipate. "No way!" Bardock exclaimed in disbelief.
"HAHAHAHAHA!" Frieza continued to laugh, before he flexed his finger, and sent his really large energy sphere right towards Bardock, and in turn, towards, the planet.
"AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!" Bardock screamed as he was soon engulfed in the energy sphere.
However...
Elsewhere, along the outskirts of space, this entire scenario was being witnessed by others. The ones watching this were on a ship that was eerie similar to Frieza's own ship, and the occupants were three aliens who wore armor similar to the Saiyans, but only had the one shoulder guard.
These three were watching a video screen in the ship's control room, watching the destruction of Planet Vegeta with sinister grins on their faces. The screen then did a close up on Bardock as they saw him get enveloped by Frieza's attack.
"That's the guy right there; Bardock." One muscular green alien warrior said.
"He doesn't look so frightening to me." Another alien, a light-blue skinned alien with blond hair, said with a smirk. "Anyway, he's space dust now, and there goes the whole monkey farm. Now this is live entertainment." The blue alien then gasped when he noticed something on the monitor. "What's this? There are two getting away. Magnify the image!"
"Right! I'm on it, Salza!" A red-skinned alien with the head of a turtle said as he worked at his station, before bringing up two separate screens showing two different Saiyan space pods.
"I want an interior view, as well!" Salza ordered.
"Right." The red alien said as he pressed a few buttons and the screens then showed the interior of the pods, revealing Arlic in one, and a Saiyan baby in the other, with hair looking exactly like Bardock's. "That's it! I got it!"
"Where do they think they're going?" Salza asked in frustration.
"Well, it looks like the baby is heading towards a planet called Earth, but the grown one is heading into unknown space in the West section of the Universe." The red alien explained, before looking at Salza. "Should we intercept their course?"
"Yes." Salza said with certainty.
"Belay that order." All three aliens gasped when they noticed their leader, sitting in a hover chair that was similar to Frieza's, entered the control room.
"Sire/Yes, sire." The green and red alien said as they kneeled before their leader.
"But, sire, there are two that are escaping." Salza tried to reason.
"Frieza's the one in charge of this quadrant. Let him clean up his own mess. I've got seven planets to destroy by the end of the day. Why should I allow myself to get behind schedule just to cover his mistakes." The figure explained as he hovered closer to the screen. "Besides, one of them is just a Saiyan child. The other one, however, Neiz, can you pull up a file on that one."
"Yes, my lord." Neiz said as he typed a few buttons on his computers, before pulling up a file about Arlic. "It appears that this one is named Arlic, and...oh, he's known as Saiyan Zero because he is the lowest of the low-class. He's never conquered a planet or killed inhabitants in all of his missions."
"There, you see. They're no threat to us." The figure said as the screen changed to Frieza maniacally laughing as his Death Orb attack was destroying Planet Vegeta. "Ah, look at him. What foolishness! He's so pleased with himself that he's blinded by his arrogant pride. That could be King Vegeta on either of those space pods, for all he knows."
The figure turned around, revealing the evil older brother of the tyrant Frieza, Cooler, himself.
"You've got a lot to learn, brother." Cooler said with a scoff. "Let's get out of here."
Back with Planet Vegeta, the Death Orb attack eventually destroyed Planet Vegeta, creating a huge explosion that flashed brightly it could be seen from many parts in the vacuum of space.
From Arlic's perspective, he saw the bright flash of light from the explosion, completely blinding him, and completely sent his space pod spiraling out of control. He gritted his teeth in discomfort from the rough ride, before it finally settled. When he opened his eyes, he gasped in horror as he remnants, debris, and end little particles of what used to be his home planet floating about in space, getting smaller and smaller as he flew away.
"No...it's all gone." Arlic whispered in horror.
Everything he ever knew was all gone now. He may have not gotten along with the majority of his race, but they were still his people and Planet Vegeta was still his home, and now...it was no more.
"No...this can't be happening..." Arlic lowered his head in sadness as tears threatened to leak out of his eyes, before he looked up in fury.
"DAAAAAAAAMN YOOOOOUUUUUU FRIIIIEEEEEZZZAAAAA!"
The final chapter of the Saiyan Race has come to an end, but like all chapters, when one ends another begins. With no clear destination, the Saiyan survivor Arlic flies through the void of space into the Western part of the universe. Can the infamous Saiyan Zero find a new world to take shelter and survive, and just what will this new world entail. Find out next time on That Time a Saiyan Came to a Magical World.

Hey everybody, here we are with the prologue of my brand-new story called That Time a Saiyan Came to a Magical World. This is a crossover that I have been dreaming of making for a while ever since I saw That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime.
I placed a trailer in my Upcoming Story Trailers where I had 2 openings for this story, one with the classic Cha La Head Cha La song if Arlic will replace Rimuru as the main character, and the English version of Dragon Soul if Arlic and Rimuru will both be the main characters; I even had a poll on which one you wanted. I closed the poll recently and the votes are in, and the majority of you want Arlic and Rimuru to both be the main characters, which I'm fine with. I can really work with this.
Fun Fact: This isn't the first time I used my Saiyan OC Arlic for a story. I actually used Arlic for my Wattpad account for a Dragon Ball Super crossover with Fairy Tail. I like this character of mine and I wouldn't be surprised if I use him again in another crossover. but that's not for a long time.
With how OP some of the characters are in that anime, I wanted to see how they would fair when I introduced a Saiyan into this world. Saiyans are pretty powerful in their own right, and we all know they can get stronger over time, so Arlic being in this magical world can really shake things up. Arlic will still have some tough competition with how powerful some of the characters in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime are, but he will fit right in.
I'm sure you all noticed that the opening had some spoilers for what I have planned, but I can assure you those spoilers don't even cover half of what I have planned for this story. I am using some of the movie DBZ villains since they are not technically canon to the main Dragon Ball franchise, except for Broly when he made his canonical appearance in his Super movie. By using the movie villains for my story, I won't affect the main Dragon Ball canon, and it gives the Dragon Ball timeline a reason why these movie big baddies never appeared in the show.
I have big things planned for this story, and I can't wait to share it with you all.
That's all I have to say, for now, everyone. I hope you all stays healthy, stay safe, and I'll see you all next time.
