Disclaimer: I do not own Deadpool or anything else from Marvel. Nor do I own Doctor Who, Um Jammer Lammy, Yu-gi-oh 5D's, or any other franchise that might be mentioned in this story.
The unlikely but hilarious duo is back! And this time, they're getting some friends involved. Deadpool, the Tenth Doctor, Yusei, and Lammy are joining forces in this epic sequel. And this time, we're bringing in one of the Doctor's most well known enemies: the Daleks! These four are definitely gonna have their work cut out for them, as they face not only the Daleks, but also their most horrible experiences.
That only makes this adventure all the more worth checking out. So sit back and enjoy!

BOOM!
The explosion shook the entire ship as the door was sent flying off its hinges and across the hallway. As it landed, smoke began to billow out of said room. The alarms on the ship began to blare as another door opened, letting two occupants of the ship out to inspect the damage.
One look at the two metal contraptions would instill fear and bewilderment into any living being. They were essentially metal tank/capsule hybrids, looking a little similar to trash cans with plated armor. But the resemblance stopped there, as the capsules were also armed with a plunger-looking device and a laser arm. A long eyestock each scanned the area, slowly rolling their way towards the smoking room. But before they could enter, a tall figure ran out, smoke training off him.
The man turned to face the two "machines", who in turn surveyed the intruder on their ship. They took in the features of their most infamous enemy. Tall, thin frame. Brown, messy hair. A brown, pinstriped suit and tie. A long, brown trench coat. Red Converse. An amused smirk upon his face. And, of course, the glowing white orb he was clutching in his hands as if his life depended on it.
This man was the Tenth Doctor.
"HOW DARE YOU TRESPASS ON OUR SHIP," one of the "machines" barked in a strange, robotic voice. "YOU WILL HAND THAT BACK AND SURRENDER RIGHT NOW, DOCTOR. OR YOU WILL FACE THE WRATH OF THE DALEKS."
The Doctor laughed. "Some wrath," he spoke, sarcasm dripping off his British accent. "I'll take Door #3." He turned and promptly began running down the hall.
"GET HIM!" one of the Daleks ordered.
The two Daleks each fired a laser at the fleeing intruder, who managed to duck before turning the corner. Both of them began chasing him down.
As he ran, the Doctor couldn't help but ponder the situation he was in. 'Go figure. This is why I don't usually take the time to go on vacation. Even for a day. Whenever I do, I always end up brokering a peace treaty between opposing alien factions, saving historical figures from scary plots, getting chased by anything even remotely capable of chasing me, etc. Normally, I wouldn't complain. That's the kind of lifestyle I enjoy. But ONE day in 1980's California to relax and learn how to surf, that's all I wanted. Not bloody Daleks!'
After a few more turns, he suddenly skidded to a halt in the middle of a four-way intersection as Daleks came from all directions and surrounded him.
"SURRENDER THE ORB, OR WE WILL EXTERMINATE," one of the Daleks demanded.
The Doctor rolled his eyes. "You lot really are no different. But I guess I shouldn't be surprised that I missed some of you. No matter how many times I defeat you, more seem to always pop up. A bit like cockroaches. Well, cockroaches don't have laser guns, but still."
Speaking of laser arms, the Daleks raised theirs and pointed them towards the Doctor, who began looking around, formulating his escape plan. He grinned when he spotted a vent grate above his head. Quickly, he took his sonic screwdriver from his pocket and pointed it at each corner of the grate, so that each nail fell out. When the final nail came loose, the grate fell to the floor with a clank. Before the Daleks could react, the Doctor jumped up, grabbed onto the frame where the grate was, and pulled himself into the vent just as the Daleks began firing.
The Daleks continued firing at the ceiling as the Doctor crawled through the vents. Thankfully, he was faster than the Daleks could follow, and was soon a good few rooms away. Once he judged it was safe, he unhooked another grate and jumped down. He opened the door, but found another group of Daleks waiting for him just down the hall.
'Way to go, Doctor.'
He ran down the hallway, away from the waiting ambush, and came to another door. Without hesitation, he used the sonic screwdriver to unlock it, opened and ran through, and promptly relocked the door. He continued running, never dropping the orb resting in his hands. As he continued to run, however, he could hear "EXTERMINATE!", the shouts getting closer as he realized the Daleks were gaining on him.
Soon, he came to the cargo hold, where he found a number of Daleks had already arrived in the room to ambush him. Looking around, the Doctor spotted a lever. Pointing the screwdriver at it, the lever was switched, lowering the ramp. As it lowered, he ran on it to see if he could jump out safely.
It wasn't exactly the sight he was hoping for. The ship was currently floating right over the California shores, exactly 212 feet from the water according to the Doctor's calculations. However, the shore was pretty close, not a bad swim.
"THERE IS NO ESCAPE, DOCTOR," one of the Daleks taunted.
Ignoring this, the Doctor looked down again. A two-hundred foot fall into the ocean, or certain extermination at the hands of the Daleks? The Doctor didn't have to be told twice which option he preferred. He would certainly survive the fall, and then swim to shore.
Of course, surviving the fall didn't mean he wouldn't automatically be knocked out cold upon impact. The Doctor could withstand more than any ordinary human, but he wasn't invincible. And while his Time Lord biology meant he could survive underwater for longer than a human, that wouldn't exactly matter if he was unconscious. Honestly, the odds of landing without injury vs landing with injury were about a 55%/45% ratio. He would know. He did the math.
With all this in mind, the Doctor decided to increase his odds. This wasn't the kind of situation where he could take chances.
First thing he did was point the sonic screwdriver up into the air. An otherworldly beep suddenly filled the air.
"WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?" a Dalek asked.
"Oh, just a distress signal," the Doctor explained. "The kind of signal you want to send when you need someone to save you from your impending doom. And trust me, you might need one when I'm through with you. Not that I'll give you a chance to activate one anyway."
The next step was simple. He took the orb, still cradled in his hands, and chucked it out of the ship. Normally, given the nature of the object, that would be a bad idea. But in this case, throwing it was actually the safest thing that could've been done with it. He smirked as he spotted the tiny splash in the ocean.
That smirk remained on his face as he turned to the Daleks, ready for the third step. "Can Daleks swim? I actually don't remember. But good luck finding it now."
As for the distress signal, it was just a matter of guessing who would answer it. He certainly didn't send it out to anyone who couldn't somehow reach 1980's California. And he had a number of guesses. Considering he was bringing them here to potentially save his own life, he didn't care who it was.
But he would prefer if it wasn't a certain someone. He would never hear the end of it from that person if it turned out to be him.
The Daleks raised their guns again, ready to fire, as the Doctor took a step backwards, towards the edge.
"EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE!"
"Exterminate this!" the Doctor exclaimed. "Allons-y!"
Just as the Daleks began firing, the Doctor jumped backwards and out of the ship, letting the shots soar over his head and into the air.
The sound of the wind over his ears roared as he fell. But then a different roar registered.
"ROOOOAAAARRRRGGGHHHHH!"
'It can't be…she's a myth…was that the Time Dr-'
SPLASH!
(Present day…)
Lammy panted to catch her breath, turning around to make sure that she wasn't being chased. With a sigh of relief, she didn't see anyone or anything following her into the forest. She stood up and brushed the dust off her clothes, ready to keep moving.
But as she turned to move, she bumped right into Namora's face. Lammy tried to reach for her guitar, but found it had disappeared from her back. She stumbled as Namora sneered
"You know that wasn't very nice, my dear," Namora said. "But no matter. I have been waiting for this moment. And I shall cherish it."
Lammy tried to scramble away. "No! Stay back! You're not real!"
"I don't have to be. My very visage is enough. Just you wait, Lammy. One day, I will return. And nobody will stand in my way. Certainly not you and that boyfriend of yours. You will both be my first victims."
The lamb stood up. "Don't you dare lay a finger on Yusei."
Namora gave another sneer, looking like she was about to blast Lammy with another attack. Lammy braced herself, but the impact never came. She looked up and saw that Namora was gone.
And that's when Lammy heard it.
"ROOOOAAAARRRRGGGHHHHH!"
"What the-"
Lammy looked around the forest, trying to find the source of the roar. But while she couldn't see anything, she began to notice a kind of melody protruding through the trees. Realizing she was meant to follow it, she began running.
As she did, she began to notice not just the melody, but lyrics.
"Let the sunshine guide your way,
"Protect you, have it lead you home,
"Let the moonlight keep you safe,
"Don't despair, wherever you roam
"Let the starlight calm your fears,
"Dry your eyes, put your heart in mine,
"Let your troubles disappear,
"In the vast folds of time."
As Lammy ran, the music grew louder and louder, as did whoever was singing to it.
"Gaze upon the starry sky,
"You'll find me,
"Never fear, for I will never part,
"I'm the stars, the moon, the sun,
"And the seas,
"Please let me guide your heart."
Reaching the edge of the forest, Lammy paused as the music stopped. But what beheld her was just as shocking.
Resting before her was a large dragon, about the size of a house, glittering with scales of gold and silver. Horns of those same colors dotted her back. She was resting on both her front and hind legs. Lammy had no doubt that she was very beautiful, especially when staring at her calm, indigo eyes which reminded her of the night sky. Or, more accurately, they somehow reminded her of outer space.
"What are you?" Lammy whispered, stepping closer to the dragon.
As she stepped closer, she reached her arm out to touch it. Lammy knew in her heart that the dragon wasn't going to harm her. In fact, she felt that the music from earlier was coming from the dragon itself. With this in mind, Lammy smiled as she moved closer.
"Hello," she said.
She was almost there. She made one final move to pet the dragon, and…
…
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
Lammy groaned as she smacked her alarm clock, turning it off. She sat up, looking around to take in the familiar surroundings of her bedroom. As she swung her legs off the bed, she sighed and began to take in what had just happened.
A dream. No doubt about that. But it started as a full-blown nightmare, with Namora threatening Lammy, as she always did whenever she appeared in Lammy's dreams. Outside said dreams, Lammy was used to it. Inside, well…
The dreams used to be a lot worse. The very night after the Battle of the Eye (as the fight against Namora and her forces was now being called), Lammy couldn't sleep. She HAD only just broken free from several months under Namora's control, and recovery was never going to be easy. It didn't help that Yusei had to continue the competition and couldn't stay with her, for she had been disqualified after everything was said and done. She probably would've been crying all night except that Coco, who (among others) had decided to stay with her in the hospital (where Lammy stayed for a few days to recover from the ordeal after the battle) comforted her friend and helped her calm down.
No doubt, the first few days after the battle were the worst. But Lammy's friends helped her through the trauma. Yusei, after he had been eliminated, joined in the effort. There was a little bit of therapy involved, but before long, Lammy had returned to her normal self. But that wasn't to say there weren't any lingering effects. How could there not, after that? Occasionally, a nightmare involving Namora would spring on her, reminding Lammy that it all happened, and it wasn't something she could change. It was part of the reason she was so willing to go to New York recently with Yusei and the others, despite the New York trip on TDE2 being one of the worst days of her life.
The nightmares would never truly go away. Lammy knew that. But she had recovered to the point where they were just a thing to accept.
But the dragon? And that song? That was new. And she couldn't get the song out of her head.
And when a musician like Lammy finds a new song in their dreams, they'll do their best to remember it, and recreate it.
Smiling, Lammy quickly got dressed. She wanted to look nice, since she and Yusei were gonna go on a date later. But for now, she grabbed her favorite guitar (the one that defeated Namora) and some sheet music. She had work to do.

I hope that's enough to get you guys excited over what's next.
So we have the Tenth Doctor making a daring escape from the Daleks, and Lammy's dream about a dragon and its song. Trust me, these events are connected. And soon, Deadpool, Lammy, and Yusei are all gonna end up roped into the Doctor's current adventure. And by the end, they're all gonna come face to face with not only the Daleks, but their most horrible experiences. And trust me, this group has some major baggage.
Now, a few things to note. This story takes place around a month, in Deadpool's time, after the events of the first story. Since then, Deadpool has taken the time to get to know and befriend the Doctor incarnations after Ten. He doesn't want to rain on the parades of anyone earlier than that quite yet.
Second, none of the Tenth Doctor's companions will appear in this story. It is really up to you to decide where this sits in Ten's timeline. For all you know, any companion he might have at the time might be taking a brief break for a few days their time.
Okay, I think that covers it. Next chapter is where the real story begins.
Until then, read and review, fave and follow, and be sure to check out my other stories.
I shall see you all next time. TheMasterKat out!
