A/N: This will be my first story on this website. Criticism is appreciated along with thoughts. Now if it's just insults, it better be some good ones! Other than that, I hope you enjoy this little introduction.

The dark sky along with howls and roars of the Grimm below. The sound metal moving was heard as a certain redhead could be seen clenching her fist. Dark aura covered the oversized gears along with her fist. She let out a grunt, squeezing her fist. The gears instantly began to encase the woman in the red dress. Pyrrha's eyes squinted, watching the pile of gears.

The gears began to turn orange as heat started to irradiate from the pile. Suddenly exploding into heated fragments of metal, Pyrrha was thrown from the blast, slamming into what's left of Ozpin's tower walls. She gasped as her aura flickered before shattering into particles. She gripped her shield, slowly looked up as she saw the woman standing with a smug grin. The woman assembled a bow from embers as she pulled back an arrow. With gritted teeth, Pyrrha forced herself to stand. With a spin, Pyrrha propelled her shield toward her. The arrow flew as time seemed to slow as Pyrrha's eyes slowly widened.

The arrow came apart into embers before reassembling on the other side of the shield, penetrating into her ankle. She collapsed to the floor with a pained scream. Pyrrha glanced down at her ankle with a pained expression before attempting to stand. A crack was heard as she fell again with yell. A slight chuckle escaped from the opposition. The woman who most likely caused all of this and most likely killed Ozpin.

With a smirk, the woman spoke circling Pyrrha. "It's unfortunate you were promised a power that was never truly yours."

She slowly walked in front of Pyrrha, leaning down while bringing Pyrrha's face closer. "But take comfort in knowing that I will use it in ways you could never even imagine."

With a shaky voice, Pyrrha slowly looked back with determination. "Do you believe in destiny?"

That question caused the woman to frown. "Yes."

She stepped back as her bow materialised as she pulled back the arrow. Pyrrha watched as she let the arrow fly. The momentum slightly pushed Pyrrha back, puncturing in her cleavage. The arrow began to burn around as Pyrrha's eyes widened by the pain. The wound began to glow, searing her from the inside. Pained croakes escaped her lips as slight tears began to form. Slowly the woman approached Pyrrha.

'Destiny, huh?' Pyrrha thought, as she slowly slumped forward.

She slumped into the woman's hand as Pyrrha's body began to glow. Pyrrha's eyes widened a fraction more at the corner of her vision. Ruby with a horrified expression watched as Pyrrha's body began to crumble away as ash.

'I'm sorry…' Her only thought as black covered her vision.

Pyrrha opened her eyes only to see what seemed to be a void. She moved around as she moved like she was floating. Nothing appeared nor disappeared. Suddenly memories flood her mind as her body suddenly tensed from pain. She clutched her body even though there was none to begin with. She cringed as heat seemed to spread across her body. The pain vanished as quickly as it appeared. She breathed heavily, if she could even do that.

Suddenly thoughts of her team filled her mind and Ruby's face towards the end. "Ruby…"

Pyrrha felt like crying, her heart hurting as it wished to go back. She wanted to go back to help or at least see everyone else again. She grabbed her head as she suddenly remembered Jaune.

Jaune. The only last memory was the kiss and the shocked expression of his. It was the first time she ever kissed someone like that. It felt normal, yet she yearned for more. Unfortunately that won't happen again as her heart seemed to squeeze knowing that it won't.

Suddenly a small ball of light appeared in front of her. It caught Pyrrha off guard, causing her to recoil back. Slowly, she approached it when it did nothing. She lightly touched it, floating around as she inspected it.

Then another appeared. Then another. Until what seemed to be dozens appeared surrounding her. She frantically looked around as fear started to seep through her. Suddenly more kept appearing as it became too bright. Pyrrha tried to block the light only for it to consume her.

The sounds of leaves rustling and birds singing were heard as Pyrrha's eyes slowly fluttered open. The sun through the trees slightly blinded Pyrrha as she rolled over onto her side. Her ankle felt sore and chest felt stiff. She groaned as she slowly sat up, glancing around. Tall trees scaled all around her as she looked at the unfamiliar scenery.

She was near a rock, which she used as support to stand. Thoughts flooded her mind as she kept looking around. Where was she? Why was she here? Why is she alive?

"How am I alive…" She quietly muttered. Her body felt heavy.

Everything that happened seemed like it happened a moment ago. She tried to make sense of this, but no answer appeared, just more questions. She could still feel her aura, but it was still broken. She sighed as she went to take a step.

The sound of sticks and leaves moving alerted Pyrrha as she snapped her head toward it. Coming out from the shrubs was a massive bear, although smaller from its Grimm counterpart. It looked at her, slightly huffing, with a mean scar down its eye. Pyrrha reflexively reached for her weapon only for her to grab air. She looked down at her side as she bit her lip.

The bear rose to its hind legs, letting off a roar. It charged as Pyrrha jumped toward the dirt as she rolled. The moment she went to her feet, her ankle rolled causing her to tumble to the ground. She winced as the sound of heavy footsteps rapidly approached. She turned as she prepared to roll out of the way. A single shot rang out and hit the bear.

"Pendeja!" A voice rang out.

The bear roared at the person as they fired another shot. It punctured its side as it huffed before hightailing it into the woods. She let out a breath she didn't even know she was holding. The sound of hooves was heard as she glanced up. A man on a horse wearing a bowler hat and a pancho. He had a small mustache as he approached her.

"Are you okay, señorita?" His accent caught her off guard, especially the word he used.

"W-What?" Her voice shook as he hopped off his horse.

"Are you okay?" He repeated.

"I think so." She softly spoke, sitting up.

"Are you lost?" He glanced at where the bear ran off to. "Are you a part of a circus?"

"Circus?" If only that was true. "What do you mean?"

"You're eh…" He slightly scratched his head as he hesitated. "Clothes. They look foreign."

She glanced down at herself only to see her armor. Her eyes slightly widened as her armor seemed to have the same small dents and scratches from her battle. She went to speak only for the words to slightly die off.

"It's a…" She sighed. " costume."

"A costume?" The man questioned, before lightly laughing. "Ah okay. Are you Irish?"

Irish? She never heard of it. "Irish?"

"You know eh," He pondered a bit. "Funny accent. It's cause of your red hair and green eyes. I know someone who is kinda the same, but not red hair and green eyes."

"Uh, I guess you could say that." She didn't know what else to answer.

"You lost?" He holstered his strange rifle as he approached his horse.

"Kinda." She couldn't help, but laugh as she slumped against the rock.

"Well if you'd like I can take you back to my camp." Pyrrha tensed at the words.

"Your camp?"

"Well, not my camp." He patted his horse as he glanced at her. "I live with others. My, uh, boss runs it. We usually help lost people like you."

"That would be," She pondered over her options. "Great. If they don't mind."

"They shouldn't." He slowly saddled up on his horse as gently patted its mane. "Hopefully. Come on and hop on."

He held out his hand as she stared at it carefully. She slowly raised her hand, mimicking how he saddled up.

"First time riding?" She blushed in embarrassment from snickering. "You'll get used to it."

They began to ride as they lightly galloped through the woods. The trees look so similar yet so different and she's been through many parts of the world.

"What's your name?" The man asked.

"Huh?" She suddenly snapped from her thoughts.

"Your name?" He repeated. "If you don't mind."

"Oh!" She let out a nervous laugh. "I-It's Pyrrha. Pyrrha Nikos."

"Pherrah Neekos?" He, horribly, mispronounced.

She couldn't help, but like the way he doesn't know her name or how to say it. With a laugh she corrected him. "Pyrrha Nikos."

"Pyrrha." He slowly said. "Sounds European. I think."

There's those strange words again. She wondered if she somehow ended up on some weird part of the planet. She lightly laughed before speaking.

"European…" She softly said. "Can I ask you a question…"

"Javier." He finished. "Javier Escuella."

'That sounds more weird than mine!' She laughed in her head.

"Javier." She slowly repeated. "Where am I?"

"Uh, not to be rude, but," She scratched his chin. "Did you hit your head?"

"I honestly think so."

"Well you're in Tall Trees." She mentally face palmed.

"I understand that."

"That is what the forest is called. Tall Trees."

'Oh.' She face palmed. "I meant region."

"Oh, we're in West Elizabeth."

'Great.' She sighed internally before asking the big question. "What kingdom are we in?"

"Kingdom?" His voice dripped with confusion. "I don't think those exist anymore. That must be the costume party you were in."

She couldn't hide the flinch in his answer. She was sure she was in a kingdom, but what did he mean by they didn't exist. Her mind kept relapping those words in her mind over and over again. That could mean anything.

"You must be European." He lightly laughed to himself. "But if you're asking what country we're in, then let me show you."

Just then the horse suddenly began sprinting as she reflexively hugged his waist. The two exited the woods following a dirt path as less trees began appearing. They slowed down before coming to a stop as Javier spoke.

"As my boss says." He cleared his throat. "Welcome to America. The big emerald on Earth, the Land of Opportunity. Or whatever it changes to."

In front of them was a plain that could be seen for miles. The grass was mostly tan seemingly dead yet so full of life as there could be animals seen grazing in the distance. America. Earth. She never heard of them. It answered her question, yet more kept coming. She was not in a kingdom, cause there were none.

"Earth…" She softly spoke without thinking.

"That's what the planet is called." He responded. "That's what I read in books anyway."

She's not on Remnant. She couldn't help, but feel even more lost.
