All across Nexus, the armies, hordes and factions of the World gathered their forces to combat the threat of Urgoth, the legions of Urgothians poured from the Breaches like a vile tide as Light, Dark, Fire, Water and Nature Urgothians surged across the Realms, who sought to finally slay the Children of Arkoth and to bring about their destiny to destroy all the Dragon God of Order had created and replace it in their Master's twisted image.

Along Urgoth's tendrils, thousands of Urgothians began to from upon the monster's white scales, which crawled along and flew around the tendrils, which made their way toward the opening within the Veil, seeking to step foot upon newer worlds and to spread their creator's black blood upon the worlds that they would invade, thus spreading Urgoth's will upon the stars.

Finally, and perhaps most terrifying to those seeking to stop Urgoth's threat, not one or two, but legions of Domini began to emerge from the Breaches and along Urgoth's tendrils, numerous Fire, Water, Light, Dark and Nature Domini expelled inhumane shrieks as they marched alongside the Urgothian hordes, each an extension of Urgoth's will as they sought to bring about the end of not only Nexus, but to end all other worlds that stood in their paths.

"All armies, legions, tribes… whatever you want to call them, are responding to the invaders, but we are too spread out and outnumbered to deal with this threat!" Lelouch told the War Council as he analyzed the situation, a growing frown upon his face as he saw the difficult task he and those protecting Nexus were up against.

"We need to focus on that spire, and upon removing Lady Kamiya from that device, it is the only way to stop them." Ainz commented as he looked upon the screen, knowing that rescuing or, if it came to it, ending the Dark Empress would be the only way to end this invasion, not that he would say the latter of his thoughts out loud, not when the five Champions were present.

"We cannot abandon our Realms either! They need aid!" The Conclave member said with a growing concern as several monitors showed Urgothians invading the Light Realm, much to the dismay of the Angelic leaders present.

Clenching their fists, the five Davises looked upon the one monitor displaying the spire, which zoomed in and focused upon Kari, who continued to scream in clear pain as her body was absorbing more and more Obscarian energy, even if it was at a slow and steady rate.

Desperate to save Kari, along with the rest of the Multiverse, the five Champions knew that they would need the aid of the Armada in order to reach their beloved, especially as they saw a massive swarm of Urgothians now surrounding the twisted structure, which appeared like an evil twister that surrounded their Masters as their wicked plans continued.

But with the rest of Nexus burning to the ground, alongside the Digital World and the Earths now in danger, there was no way for the Armada to focus on one target, not when the fate of so many lives hung in the balance.

As though answering their silent prayers, the five Davises were snapped out of their thoughts when five holographic monitors then appeared before the War Council, each displaying the three Emperors and two Empresses of Nexus, the sight of which caused the council and the five champions to bow in respect.

"Champions, this is the hour, the one you all have been preparing for, the fate of all creation now rests in your hands." The Dark Emperor said with a firm seriousness, this surprising the five Davises as they now realized that this was the moment the rulers of Nexus had foreseen, the moment they knew that Kari would play an important role within.

"You and your allies, this Armada of protectors, will assault the Spire and stop Urgoth's children at the source. You must save your beloved from their grasp." The Light Empress then informed the five champions, each of whom nodded in reply.

"When the moment comes, you will know what must be done." The Water Emperor informed of his champion and his variants, knowing full well that the events were playing out as they were meant to.

"Go champions and do your part, while we do ours!" The Fire Emperor then declared as he and his counterparts then slammed their weapons into the ground, where a moment later, the five rulers of Nexus were consumed in pillars of Mana, each the colour of the respective realms.

At that same moment, Nexus itself seemed to shake, the tremors causing most in the room to steady themselves, before their eyes widened upon hearing a series of deafening roars suddenly echo throughout the world.

Typing in a few keys and bringing up more holographic monitors, Water Davis and the rest of those present within the War Council chamber watched in shock and awe as the five moons of Nexus broke apart and five familiar, massive and powerful dragons emerged from the remains with powerful roars.

The five Dragon Gods of Nexus had awoken, their avatars now sleeping and giving their creations strength as Voldrakon, Mordakus, Tritonius, Karnus and Alpharius expelled another series of roars.

Flying down toward Nexus, the Dragon Gods began to attack Urgoth's tendrils, burning, slashing and cutting through a series of them as the Urgothians around and near the tendrils were wiped out, even the Domini that were caught in the blasts could not withstand the assault of the deities of Nexus, while the echoing sounds of Urgoth's pained, albeit annoyed roars could be heard from within the Breaches.

However, and much like his children, Urgoth's wounds were quick to heal as the monster sent his tendrils back upward toward the openings in the Veil, while the Urgothian hordes turned their attention toward the five Dragon Gods and to bring them down, whose presence not only showed the inhabitants of Nexus how dire the situation was, but also rallied the defenders of the ancient world to know that their Gods were now fighting alongside them.

In awe themselves to see the five Dragon Gods now battling their ancient foes, the five Davises and the war council sensed something else, that with the Dragon Gods now awake and upon Nexus once again, the flow of Mana seemed to increase throughout the world, empowering the champions and children of Voldrakon, Mordakus, Tritonius, Karnus and Alpharius, giving them the strength to fight on in this darkest of hours.

Feeling the increased Fire Mana flowing through him and seeing the same for his variants, Caleb, Julie, Rika, Henry and their other allies, Fire Davis turned to Mikey, TK and the war council as he told them with a fair authority within his voice. "Prepare everything we got, we're hitting that spire and we're going to save Kari!"

Filled with the determination of the five Motomiyas, the DDF, Dark Imperium and their allies within Nexus nodded their heads as they quickly left the chamber in order to mobilize their forces.

Once most within the chamber had left, the five Davises then looked upon Veemon and Gatomon, the latter still holding Kari's gauntlet and Faustian's gem, before Fire Davis moved himself to one knee and placed a comforting hand upon the former Digimon of Light's shoulder.

"We will save her, no matter what it takes, we'll bring Kari back." The Fire Champion said to the feline Digimon and the Shadow Demon as he looked Gatomon in the eyes, relaying his determination to keep and fulfil his promise.

Despite her own desire to help, Gatomon knew that without Kari, she would be somewhat powerless in this battle, a feeling Faustian shared as he could not materialize within Nexus without the Dark Empress.

Yet both the Digimon and Shadow Demon partners of the Dark Empress knew not only the five Davises' will, but their hearts as well, and knew that no matter what, they would give it their all to bring Kari back, safe and sound.

Rising back to his feet, Fire Davis and his variants looked upon Veemon, who held his own determination within his eyes as he told them. "I am here to fight alongside you guys and I do what I can to help save Kari!"

"You can count the five of us in on that!" Blaze declared as he spoke for himself, Belezar, Cybrian, Jiraiya and Alcadeias, each of the partners of the five champions ready to fight to protect their world and save their partners' beloved.

Smiling down upon his Digimon partner, an idea then came to Fire Davis' mind, where he withdrew his D-3 and looked upon Water Davis, asking his watery counterpart with a smirk. "Think with this increase in Mana that it will work?"

Knowing exactly what his fiery double was thinking, Water Davis gained a rare smirk and said with an amused tone. "Yes, I believe it will work."

"What will work?" Veemon then questioned with some concern as he noticed the glint within his partners' eyes.

"Don't worry, Vee, if this works, you should return to your normal self once you change back." Nature Davis said with a fair kindness toward his partner as he caught on to what his variants had in mind.

Watching with their own confusion, Veemon and Gatomon then looked on as all five Davises placed their hands upon the D-3 and poured the five Mana types of Nexus into it, where the device, followed soon by Veemon himself, were then consumed in a great and powerful blinding light.

When the light faded, Gatomon's eyes widened in amazement to see not one, but all five Mana versions of Veemon's Mega form now standing before her, with BurningVeedramon, TyrantVeedramon, CyberVeedramon, GaiaVeedramon and AscendedVeedramon examining themselves and each other for a moment, before the five versions of UlforceVeedramon said in a shared unison. "Cool!"

"Wow…" Gatomon found she could only say toward the sight of now five versions of her beloved, the feline Digimon now understanding how Kari felt as Gatomon briefly imagined what it would be like to be in bed with all five versions of her lover simultaneously.

"Can we put the perverted thoughts aside for now and focus on the battle ahead?" Faustian then questioned with a fair annoyance and frustration within his voice, his words snapping Gatomon out of her daydreams as she noticed the ten others within the room looking upon her, causing the former Digimon of Light to chuckle nervously in reply.

Shaking his head toward Gatomon's antics, Light Davis looked upon his variants and said with a firm seriousness. "Come on, we have a battle to win."

Nodding toward their light variant, the five Davises and the Digimon exited the War Council chamber in order to join their allies and take the fight to the spire and the Urgothian rulers.

As a shared determination filled them, the five champions vowed that they would save the woman they loved, no matter what.

.

.

.

Gritting her teeth as the pain became slightly more bearable, Kari looked around her and toward the sights going on around her and the spire, to see Urgoth's tendrils emerging from the Breaches and making their way toward the openings in the Veil, to taint other worlds with the Dragon God of Chaos' evil, while his minions swarmed across Nexus like an evil plague, and it was all her fault.

In a moment of weakness, of doubt, Kari had allowed her enemies to deceive her, and now, the world she vowed to help and protect, the world her beloveds had been a part of, was in danger because of her own selfishness.

And worst of all, Kari knew that she had once again betrayed her Davises, a sin she could never forgive herself for.

The sounds of rock cracking and ear deafening roars then snapped Kari from her self-loathing as she looked upward and saw the five moons of Nexus breaking apart, followed soon by the sight of the five Dragon Gods awakening and surging down toward their world, combatting the Urgothian legions alongside their children and followers in order to stop this vile invasion.

"The Children of Arkoth awaken to their doom." Elezar remarked as she looked upon the five Dragon Gods, knowing that they were no match to the power of Urgoth and would fall like the rest of those who opposed the Dragon of Chaos.

Hearing a faint chuckle, however, the Light Urgothian ruler, along with her brethren, looked upon the bound form of the Dark Empress, who looked back upon the Urgothian leaders with a pained smile.

"It's not their end coming, but yours…" Kari remarked with a sly grin as she too felt the increase of Mana flowing throughout Nexus, before she told the five Urgothian rulers with a dark glee in her eyes. "They are coming for me now… and nothing will stop them, not even your precious Urgoth…"

As if on cue, Kari felt a growing presence approaching the spire as she, Elezar and the other Urgothian leaders turned to see the full Armada that surrounded the Infinite City heading toward them, the Dark Ark now in low orbit and surrounded by the floating fortresses as the fleet and ground armies pushed forward and against their enemies.

"Let them come, Urgoth's will shall be done!" Elezar declared as Shelog, Velgoth, Infernir and Gizar expelled high pitched shrieks, this alerting the Urgothian swarm around the spire as they rushed to combat those who dared stand in the way of Urgoth's plans.

"All forces, open fire!" Lelouch ordered from the bridge of the Fire Realm's fortress, his call causing every airship, fighter, floating fortress and aerial combatant in the Armada to open fire, unleashing a powerful barrage that annihilated a large amount of the flying Urgothians.

"Show these freaks what happens when you mess with my creative genius!" Zim ordered from the command centre of the Dark Ark with a maddening laugh as the Dark Ark opened fire as well, the onslaught of dark energy not only striking down many Urgothians in the air, but also destroying many of the twisted monsters upon the ground as the ground forces of the Armada surged forward.

"Onward, for Nexus, for the Multiverse and for Victory!" Victor declared from the back of his father's dragon, the beast expelling a fearsome roar as it flew ahead, with Shogun Daisuke and Warlord Arthas behind him and upon their mounts as Kenji, Tigris Khan and the rest of the ground forces surged forward and met the Urgothian hordes head on.

"Oblivion Ray!"

"Path of Destiny!"

"Plasma Assault…"

"Blazing Fury!"

"Nature's Fury!"

Unleashing their combined might as a single attack, the five Mana infused forms of Veemon sent forth a combined blast of energy, annihilating many of their foes in the process, including a Dominus of Fire and of Water, only to frown as more foes emerged from the Breach and from Urgoth's tendril, quickly replacing the numbers of those vanquished by their assault.

"This will get tiresome if they just keep popping back up like this!" TyrantVeedramon growled as he had hoped for a swift victory against their foes.

"It's not about beating them, it's about making way for our partners to get to the top of the spire!" BurningVeedramon remarked as he swung his blades and cut through several Urgothians to pieces, his dark variant nodding in agreement with the statement.

"Anyone else find it weird that there are five of us now?" GaiaVeedramon questioned as he slammed his hammer into the ground and sent forth a shockwave that caused many of the Urgothians before him to either fall into the newly formed pits or be sent flying into the air.

"Weird, affirmative… relevant at this time, negative…" CyberVeedramon said in reply as he unleashed another volley of plasma energy toward the Urgothian lines.

"This is how Davis must have felt, but unlike him, we do not have time to focus on it, we need to punch a hole through the enemy's lines and give them a clear shot to reach the top of the spire!" AscendedVeedramon declared as he slashed through many of his foes, while his sentiment was shared by his variants as they moved to clear the way for the five Davises.

Moving through the swarms of Urgothian flyers, Phirox and Ferox unleashed a fiery barrage upon their foes, while Julie and Caleb rode upon the shoulders of their partners', before the silver haired Champion released a series of fire blasts upon the swarm as Caleb took out a number of them with his twin pistols.

"You know, when I said I wanted to hang around and see how things were going to end for Davis and his girl, this is not what I had in mind!" Caleb confessed as he shot down several Urgothians that rushed toward him, his words earning a small chuckle from Julie as she sent forth a wave of flame that incinerated more of the flying nightmares.

"And what exactly did you have in mind?" The silver haired Champion asked as Phirox opened her mouth and expelled a stream of fire toward another wave of Urgothian flyers.

"I don't know, an awkward wedding or something, not the end of the world!" Caleb replied as Ferox brought his arm cannons forward and released another powerful barrage upon several Urgothian dragons, the attack destroying the foul creatures in the process.

Chuckling to herself, Julie remained focused upon the fight as she told her Fireteam member with a burning conviction. "The world hasn't ended yet, not while we still breathe and not while she is in danger."

Grinning to himself, Caleb looked over his shoulder and toward Julie and then commented with his own conviction. "Yeah, those five morons are in for it once Davis and his counterparts get there."

Though grinning in the knowledge that the five Davises would give the Urgothian rulers hell before they let Kari suffer any longer, the two Fire Champions knew that the battle was far from over, and unless Urgoth was stopped, there wouldn't be a future left to fight for.

Down below and upon the ground near the spire, Rika, Ravana, Henry, Kurdoss and the rest of the other Digimon Tamers fought alongside Nature Davis' Pack as they clashed with the ground Urgothian forces.

'No matter what happens… I am grateful to fight alongside all of you again, my friends…' Henry said with a growing sincerity, his words causing the rest of the Tamers to smile toward their ghostly friend's endearing words.

"Indeed, this world has given us all a second chance, and now, we must do what we can to protect it and our homes!" Ravana declared with might, her words shared by Rika, Gallantmon and the rest of the warriors around the group, who then prepared themselves as a swarm of Urgothians began to charge towards them, a horde with a trio of Domini marching behind them.

Before the Urgothians could reach the group, a wave of darkness then shot past Rika, Henry and their group, the attack not harming any of those protecting Nexus, but quickly decimating the Urgothian swarm as the vile beasts shrieked in pain and agony as the darkness consumed them, were the group then saw Dharak, Nergul and Senagos fly overhead and join the battle.

However, Rika, Henry and the rest of the defenders knew that the Dread Wyrms were not the ones responsible for that attack as they felt a familiar chill course through the air, this causing them to turn around and look in shock to see Noctus standing before them.

"Oh, shut your gawking traps, you pathetic worms, I am your ally today." The Eternal Lord said with an annoyed tone of voice as he looked upon the gathered heroes and heroines.

"But… but I thought it would take longer for you to regenerate?!" Rika found herself questioning as the skeletal being turned his gaze toward the red haired Arbiter.

"Ah, so you've gone and joined the Light Realm, have you? Don't expect our next encounter to be so friendly." Noctus remarked as he looked Rika over, his gaze sending a chill down the Arbiter's spine as she knew his words spoke true.

"And yes, normally it would have taken longer for me to regenerate, but with Mordrakus awakened and the flow of Dark Mana increased, the process was quickened so that I could aid you idiots in this battle." The Eternal Lord went on to tell his temporary allies, who nodded their heads in reply as they were somewhat grateful to have the skeletal being's dark power now aiding them within their fight.

It was then that a dark wisp formed next to Noctus, which grew and took form as the Pack and Henry felt their concerns growing to see Azara form beside her fellow Eternal Lord, who looked upon her out of the corner of his eye sockets.

"You and I need to have a long talk later." Noctus remarked, knowing full well that Azara played a hand in his defeat at the Faelands, but that discussion would have to wait until the Urgothians were defeated.

At that moment, ten more dark wisps formed around Noctus and Azara, with Rika and her group almost passing out from the overwhelming darkness they felt as ten more being appeared around the two ancient Dark Lords, the rest of the Eternal Lords now present as they all turned their gaze upon the gathering Urgothian legions.

"For now, let us put the fear of death into the hearts of Urgoth's spawns." Noctus then suggested as he and the rest of the Eternal Lords rushed forward, carving their way through the Urgothian lines like a plague of death, one the ground defenders were grateful was on their side as Ravana expelled a might howl and Kurdoss a fearsome roar, rallying the defenders as they charged toward the Urgothian lines, each ready to do their part and to allow the five Davises to reach the spire.

Riding within Blaze's arms as the fire dragon flew alongside Belezar, Cybrian, Jiraiya and Alcadeias, the five Davises looked down upon the battlefield as they not only saw Noctus, Azara and the other Eternal Lords joining the battle, but to see their legions joining as well, with Argoth leading the Wightborn into battle in his Master's name, while a massive army from the Dark Realm, led by the entire Dark Council, came to the aid of the champions and their allies.

Meanwhile, a large force from the Nature Realm had also arrived, led by Queen Cerine, Ungala and King Tichalla as the combined forces of the Beast Confederacy and the Faelands arrived to aid the Grand Guardian and his variants, the Grovewarden expelling a fearsome roar as many Children of Karnus flew being the ancient dragon, their Guardian partners ready to do their part in order to protect their home.

A moment later, a fleet from the Water Realm arrived and joined their firepower with the rest of the Armada against the Urgothians, followed soon after by two massive legions from the Light Realm, with warriors that were clad in either pure white armour or a light green shade as the Hosts of Purity and of Wisdom respectively joined the fight.

All around the battlefield, the five Davises watched as the friends and the various allies they had made during their long years upon Nexus were now coming to their aid in this darkest of hours, including Hexron as a Harvester Fortress teleported upon the battlefield and produced robotic Water Realm forces to drive off the Urgothian hordes.

At the same time, the five variants of the Motomiya watched as their friends, both old and new, from the Digital World seemed to finally put aside their differences as they worked together against their common foe, watching as Omnimon, Gallantmon, Susanoomon, ShineGreymon: BM, OmniShoutmon, Arresterdramon, Gaiamon, Siriusmon, Arcturusmon, MetalSeadramon and GrandGoldramon moved before Blaze and the other champions' partners as they unleashed a combined assault upon the Urgothians in their path, annihilating the abominations and clearing a path for the champions to move forward.

"Go, save Kari!" TK yelled from his partner's shoulder, looking upon the five Davises with a further trust and confidence in his eyes, one the champions shared as Blaze, Belezar, Cybrian, Jiraiya and Alcadeias surged through the opening within the swarm and rushed toward the platform at the top of the spire.

"We'll keep the rest of them busy, you guys kick their asses and save your mate!" Blaze declared with his own fiery determination, his words earning nods from the five Davises, who then leapt out of the fire dragon's arms and landed upon the platform, while Blaze, Belezar, Cybrian, Jiraiya and Alcadeias took defensive positions around the spire in order to hold back the Urgothians that would try to stop their partners from saving the Dark Empress.

Seeing her beloveds land upon the platform, Kari expelled a tired, hopeful and excited sob, her tearful eyes remaining locked upon the five Davises as she whispered through her pain and anguish. "I'm so sorry… I'm so sorry…"

Yet seeing her beloveds turn and look upon her, she did not see any anger, rage or hatred directed toward her, only love and understanding, the sight of which both warmed and pained Kari's heart as she believed she did not deserve their forgiveness or their love after all that she had done.

And yet, the five Davises gave her both, and that thought alone caused Kari to shed further tears, before she watched with some concern as her beloveds then faced her captors as Shelog, Velgoth, Infernir and Gizar looked upon the champions with deep growls and insane chuckles.

At the same moment, Elezar stood up from her throne, walked down the steps and joined with her fellow rulers.

Standing just a few feet behind the rest of the Urgothian leaders as they looked upon the champions of Nexus, who remained on guard as they prepared to fight.

Fighting one Urgothian ruler was bad enough in the eyes of the five Davises, let along all five, and for the first time ever, it would seem that Elezar herself would be joining the fight, and none of the champions had faced her before in battle, leaving the Light Urgothian leader a wild card in this fight.

"This will be so much fun!" Shelog declared as she sharpened her claw-like blades, her words causing Velgoth, Infernir and Gizar to chuckle a little in reply, while Elezar remained with a fairly serious expression.

"Indeed, let Urgoth's will be done." The ruler of the Light Urgothians declared as she brought both of her arms up, causing the five Davises to get into fighting stances as a pool of black blood circled around Elezar and formed four tendrils that snaked around her hands.

However, much to the surprise of the champions and even Kari, the tendrils shot forth from Elezar's hands, not toward the five Davises, but toward her fellow rulers as the black substance began to consume them.

"WHAT IS THIS?! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE, ELEZAR?!" Gizar bellowed as he, Shelog, Infernir and Velgoth struggled to escape from the black blood now consuming their forms.

"I am fulfilling Urgoth's will. Now, we shall be one!" Elezar declared as the black blood consumed the four other rulers, before the black tendrils shot toward Elezar herself, wrapping her in a cocoon of Urgoth's blood, which then burst opened with a powerful gust of wind, revealing a newer form of the Light Urgothian ruler, now the prime ruler of Urgoth's children, to the five champion.

Retaining much of her normal form, Elezar now had four wings emerging from her back, along with a serrated tail, while her headpiece was larger and more elegant as she held a spear in her right hand.

Feeling the energy now emanating from the Urgothian being before them, Fire Davis, Dark Davis, Water Davis, Nature Davis and Light Davis realized that Elezar had indeed absorbed her fellow Urgothian rulers and added their power into her own, this making the Prime Ruler of the Urgothians a far more dangerous threat then she ever was before.

"I am Urgoth's will made flesh, the ultimate perfection in an imperfect creation! All shall fall before my might, the Might of Urgoth, and be remade in his divine image, or be wiped from existence!" Elezar declared with a deep devotion toward her Master as she looked upon the five Davises with her faceless features, ready to end their existence once and for all.

Remaining determined, however, the five champions prepared themselves for their greatest challenge to date, to defeat Elezar, save Kari and end this war once and for all, less everything they loved and cherished would fall to Urgoth's evil.
