To my readers-This is a major editing overhaul for my Pokemon fanfiction. During this editing overhaul, I am renaming my OC. I will not change her Pokemon Partner, and I will not change her regional Pokemon Teams. I have decided as a writing goal to combine all of the regions together rather than writing them as individual regions. I'm still going to write Sinnoh and Unova, but at this moment, I need to finish writing certain regions like Kanto, Alola and Galar. For those of you who are going to ask me if I'm doing the Pokemon movies (you know who you are), I'm nipping that question in the bud right now. I will not be writing the movies. Why? Because it will be too much for me to do as I already have a lot on my plate as it is so stop asking me that question.
If you dont like the way I'm writing my version of Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos, Alola, and Galar then you dont have to read my fanfiction. You can move onto reading something else in the Pokemon universe, I'm not going to force you as readers to read my fanfiction. I'm not going to reach through my computer screen to force you to read any of my fanfiction. You as individuals chose to read my fanfiction. Happy Reading!
I DONT OWN POKEMON. I ONLY OWN MY OC AND THE CREATION OF HER REGIONAL POKEMON TEAMS. ALL REGIONAL POKEMON TEAMS WILL BE POSTED AT THE BOTTOM OF THE CHAPTERS FOR MY OC.
Shoutouts:
"The road's gotta be somewhere." said Ash.
"That's what you said an hour ago, Ash." said Trixie.
"Everything's somewhere." said Brock.
"Ash, have you gotten us lost again?" asked Misty as Pikachu and Meeko whimpered tiredly.
Narrator: Well, here's a familiar scene. Wandering in the forest, it appears our friends have once again lost their way.
Pikachu, holding its arms in the air: Pikachu.
Trixie: And one little girl is getting sleepy.
Meeko, trying to keep her eyes open: Riol….
Narrator: It's been quite a while since Ash and Trixie left their home in the town of Pallet, and a lot has happened since they both began their Pokémon journey.
Trixie: While he's on his way of becoming a Pokémon master, I'm just going to become a good Pokémon Trainer. Who knows what I will do down the road but that's what I want to be.
Narrator: That's right. Ash's already earned two of the qualifying badges for participation on the Pokémon league, a Boulder Badge and a Cascade Badge.
"Pretty impressive, huh?" asked Ash, showing his badges.
"You didn't earn those badges." said Misty. "You got them just because Brock and my sister felt sorry for you."
"I did too." said Ash, rounding on her.
"Chill out, guys." said Brock.
"Yeah." said Trixie.
"Either way, Ash here has two badges and seven Pokémon." said Brock. "He needs to use the seven Pokémon that he has to compete in the Pokémon League."
Narrator: That's right, Brock. In the league, a trainer is allowed to carry six Pokémon at a time. What are their names again, Ash?"
"Their names are….Pikachu."
"Pikachu." said Pikachu.
"Pidgeotto."
"(Squawks)" said Pidgeotto.
"Butterfree. Bulbasaur."
"Free." said Butterfree.
"Bulbasaur." said Bulbasaur.
"Charmander."
"Char." said Charmander.
"Squirtle."
"Squirtle. Squirtle." said Squirtle.
"Spearow."
"Spear." said Spearow.
Trixie: Unfortunately, I sent Spearow and my Pidgey, Rito to Professor Oak, who promised me that he would let the both of them spend time with our mom. (Whispers to the audience) But he doesn't know that I did it when he caught Charmander.
"And I caught them all fair and square." said Ash.
"Caught them?" asked Misty. "Ash, all your Pokémon followed you."
"Well, heh, they're all mine, and that's all that really counts for a Pokémon trainer." said Ash.
Narrator: What about you, Trixie?"
Trixie: Well, I caught Rito, Meeko and Squirt. Even though I caught Rito on my own without trying, Squirt decided to follow me. Meeko hatched from her egg.
"At least your sister admits it, Ash." said Brock.
"Yeah and I give her some credit on that." said Misty.
"You just had to do it, didn't you, Trixie?" asked Ash.
"I'm just being honest about it, Ash." said Trixie.
"This may come as a surprise to you, but real Pokémon trainers actually catch Pokémon on their own." said Misty.
"(Sighs) You never give me a break." said Ash.
"That's because you keep bragging about those two badges." Misty tells him.
"It's really not unusual for most trainers to capture 20 or 30 Pokémon." said Brock.
"You're lucky your Pokémon follow you around." said Misty and all of Ash's Pokémon nodded. "And don't forget Ash, you had our help too."
"Yeah, don't forget about that, Ash." said Brock.
"You're always putting me down." said Ash, drawing in the dirt.
"True, but I still love you, Ash and you know that I'm more than welcome to share my Pokémon with you." said Trixie, causing Ash to perk up.
"Oh yeah, I forgot about that." he said, getting up from the ground. "But I'll show you. I'm going to prove to you that I can do it. I'm going to be a Pokémon master. Stand back and watch me work."
"I still can't believe that he's your brother." said Misty.
"Yeah. I don't know how you can do it." said Brock.
"I know. Its saddening to be even related to him." said Trixie with her head hanging down.
"Riolu." said Meeko, patting Trixie's shoulder.
"Thanks, Meeko." Trixie said. Ash starts running ahead of the others until he reaches a beach. "Whoa." said Ash.
Narrator: Ash finds his way out of the woods, and discovers a beautiful beach and a sparkling blue ocean. But he seems disappointed.
"(Sighs) I don't want to watch the sunset. I want more Pokémon. Huh?" said Ash as a crab like Pokémon walks between his legs. "Hey, wait. Stay here. Don't go. Come back. It's a Pokémon."
"Krabby. Lives near the shore. Its average height is about 16 inches." said Dexter.
"A Pokémon's a Pokémon, I guess." said Ash as Krabby tries to make its getaway. "But this Krabby sure is shrimpy." Krabby hisses at Ash for calling it shrimpy and starts to foam at the mouth.
"Uh, I didn't mean to insult you, Krabby." Ash tells the little Pokémon, and touches one of its pincers. "You're a cute little…" Suddenly Krabby grabs Ash's finger and squeezes it really hard, causing Ash to scream.
"I knew it!" said Trixie as she sees the incident in front of her, then looks down at Krabby. "Whatever he said to make you feel so insulted, my brother didn't mean it."
Krabby hisses at Trixie. "So? He didn't mean it. Now let go of his finger, he needs it more than you do." said Trixie, glaring right at Krabby.
"Riolu, Riolu." said Meeko.
"I'm glad to have a sister like you to back me up on this." said Ash.
"Well, I'm proud to be your little sister." said Trixie as Krabby lets go of Ash's finger.
"Showdown time." said Ash as he glares at Krabby. "Tiny or not, you are a Pokémon, and I'll show Misty and Brock that I can catch you."
Both Krabby and Ash ran towards each other. Ash picks up a stick and Krabby slices several pieces of it. "Pokeball, go!" shouted Ash, throwing a Pokeball at Krabby. Krabby tries to get out of its Pokeball before giving in.
"Now I really caught one. Good try, Krabby, but not good enough." said Ash, unknowingly that behind him, Trixie was smirking.
"He's in for a big surprise." muttered Trixie.
"Olu? Riolu?" asked Meeko.
"You'll see, Meeko." said Trixie.
Krabby's Pokeball starts to glow, leaving Ash confused. "Huh?" said Ash and the Pokeball disappears from his hand. "What happened? Where'd my new Krabby go? Aah! I don't see it anywhere. Where'd it go?"
"Didn't you know that a trainer can only keep six Pokémon?" Misty asked as she and Brock walked up.
"Huh?"
"Trainers can only have six Pokémon and the rest are transported." Misty explained.
"Yeah, but you can switch one Pokémon for another by pressing the white button inside your Pokedex." said Brock.
"You mean this button?" he asked Brock.
"Right. It sends a signal to activate the system that makes the exchange." said Brock.
"But I don't want to exchange my Pokémon." said Ash.
"Then shut your Pokedex and quit whining." said Misty.
"I wasn't whining. I just wanted to know where my Krabby went." argued Ash.
"Oh, you don't have to worry about that." Misty said. "Your Krabby got transported to a place for safekeeping."
"Where does it get transported to?" asked Ash.
"The same place where I sent your Spearow." said Trixie. "Use your brain, Ash."
"Your Pokémon gets transported to wherever you got your Pokedex from." said Brock.
"Then that means Krabby and Spearow must be with…" Ash said, looking at his Pokedex.
(Flashback)
"Here's your Pikachu!" said Professor Oak as Pikachu shocks him, Jordan and Ash.
(Flashback ends)
"They're with Professor Oak." said Ash.
"That's right. Krabby just got transported automatically to Professor Oak's laboratory, so don't worry about it." said Brock.
"Professor Oak promised me that he would let Spearow and Rito spend some time with Mom." said Trixie. "They'll help out with the gardening."
"That's a good idea, sis." said Ash, smiling at his thoughtful sister. "So Krabby is with Professor Oak, huh? Oh, now, I'm doubly worried. Isn't there any way I can make sure that both Spearow and Krabby are okay?"
"We could call Professor Oak to check on it." suggested Brock. "But we haven't passed by a phone all day and this beach is pretty far out of the way."
"Brock's right. I haven't told Mom about my newest Pokémon yet." said Trixie.
"There's got to be a phone around here someplace." said Ash. "I've got to check on Krabby." Unknown to the group, in Jordan's backpack, one of the Poke-eggs begins to slightly glow.
"I'm more worried about having to camp out again tonight." said Misty. "I'm sick of sleeping in sleeping bags."
"I'm just worried about finding a way to find out if poor little Krabby's okay." said Ash.
"Pika! Pika!" shouted Pikachu, jumping up and down, gaining their attention.
"Riol! Riol!" shouted Meeko, joining Pikachu.
"Pika?" asked Ash.
"Pika?" asked Brock.
"Riol?" asked Trixie, raising an eyebrow.
"Riol?" asked Misty.
"What's that?" asked Ash and Trixie, looking at the building.
"It's a lighthouse." said Misty.
"A lighthouse!" exclaimed Ash. "Every lighthouse has a keeper, and he'll have a phone. And I'm going to use it to call Professor Oak."
"And there'll probably be some extra beds." said Misty. "A sleeping bag is no way to get my beauty sleep."
"Yeah, and there'll be somebody there to tell us where we are." said Brock.
"Let's go!" shouted Ash and the four of them ran towards the lighthouse.
"All right!"
"Yeah!" It was dark by the time they reached the lighthouse. "Whew. That was farther than it looked." said Ash.
"This lighthouse looks weird." said Brock.
"It's starting to creep me out." said Trixie, looking at the lighthouse.
"Guess we better ring the bell." said Misty.
"I got it." said Ash, ringing the doorbell.
"Who's there?" asked the man inside the lighthouse, causing Trixie to scream and jump into Brock's arms with Meeko jumping onto his back.
"Uh, excuse us, sir, but we're travelers, and we're lost." Brock said.
"We've got a small emergency here, and we need to use your telephone, please sir." said Ash.
"We've been camping out for quite a while, and I'd sure appreciate a nice, comfy bed." said Misty, knocking Ash to the ground.
"If you could possibly be so kind to let me use your bathroom for a bath." said Trixie, looking at her poor brother on the ground.
"And I wonder if I could use your kitchen to make some bacon double cheeseburgers for our group." Brock added. "And I'd be more than happy to make something for you."
"That's great. Can you cook something without using tofu?" asked the man.
"Oh, sure, I can cook anything without using any tofu." said Brock.
"That's good. I've been eating nothing but tofu since my cook went on vacation." said the man. "Come on in."
The doors opened and they headed inside. "Would you mind if my sister and I borrow your phone?" Ash asked as they walked in further. Trixie and Meeko stayed at his side.
"There's a phone right near you." said the man.
"Huh?" They turned to see a phone with a plastic Pokémon for the numbers.
"Hey, it's a videophone. Oh, that's cool." said Misty.
"I'll call Professor Oak now, and see if he has my Pokémon." said Ash.
"I'm sure Krabby's in great shape." said Brock.
"The professor won't mind if I call him collect." said Ash as he dialed Professor Oak's number and on the screen, Professor Oak appeared.
"Uh…are we interrupting you?" Trixie asked.
"Well, hi, Ash and Trixie." said Professor Oak. "You caught me cooking dinner. My cook is on vacation, and I've got to fend for myself till she returns."
"Wait a minute, professor. You're not eating my Krabby, are you?" asked a fearful Ash.
"Don't worry. I'm taking good care of your Krabby. It's right here." said Professor Oak and showed Ash that it was there. "Anyway, that Krabby of yours is too small to make a very hearty meal. On the other hand, the Krabby that Gary caught would make an excellent dinner. Much better than tofu."
"What? You mean Gary caught a Krabby too?" asked Ash.
"Yes, it's quite a catch. Take a look for yourself." said Professor Oak, showing the Krabby next to his.
"Wow! That's one really big Krabby." said Trixie.
"Riolu!" said a shocked Meeko.
"Awesome." said Brock.
"I want you to know that my grandson Gary has already caught 45 Pokémon." Professor Oak stated.
"Uh-oh." said Trixie, taking a step back from her brother.
"Forty-five Pokémon?" whimpered Ash.
"Pikachu?" asked Pikachu.
"That's a good question, Pikachu." said Trixie.
"By the way, Ash, just where are you and Trixie calling me from anyway?" asked Professor Oak.
"We're at an old lighthouse way on top of a cliff." said Ash.
"Oh, that must be Bill's lighthouse." said the professor.
"Bill?" asked Trixie.
"Yes. He's a young Pokémon researcher who knows even more than me. See what you can learn from him. He could teach you just about everything about Pokémon and then some." Professor Oak explained.
"This is Bill, Professor Oak. Good to hear from you." said Bill.
"Hello, Bill. Please give my friends a crash course in Pokémon." said Professor Oak before picking up a piece of tofu. "Uh-oh. Tofu's done."
"The next time we talk to Professor Oak, I'm going to give him a piece of my mind." said Trixie.
"You're not going to yell at him, are you?" asked Ash.
"Nope. Just need to get something off of my chest when it comes to Gary." Trixie tells him. "That's all. Besides, I'm not allowed to use those kind of words quite yet. Mom said so."
"Well, there's no way I can ignore a request from the great Professor Oak." said Bill as he turns on the lights. "I am Bill of the lighthouse."
Not far from the videophone was a large Pokémon with pincers, causing the group to gasp in shock. "According to the phonebook, that lighthouse belongs to Bill, the famous researcher." said Jessie as she, James and Meowth stood a ways from the lighthouse.
"Then I guess we've come to the right place, huh?" asked James.
"There must be zillions of rare Pokémon stored in that lighthouse." said Jessie.
"Then there's only one thing for us to do." said Meowth.
"Right. Sneak in and take everything we can grab." said James.
"How shall we sneak in?" Jessie asked as she looked through the binoculars. "We could take the road, or risk our lives by climbing up the cliffs."
"Well, we certainly can't take the road." said James.
"We have to climb up those cliffs." said Jessie.
"'Cause we're the bad guys and the bad guys always got to sneak in." said Meowth, chuckling from the top of Jessie's head.
"It's time for us to rain on someone's parade again. James!"
"Jessie."
"We're back-to-back, so prepare for trouble." they both said. "Watch your step or we'll make it double."
"To protect the world from devastation…"
"To untie all peoples within our nation…."
"To denounce the evils of truth and love…"
"To extend our reach to the stars above…"
"Jessie. Ha!"
"James."
"Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light." said Jessie.
"Surrender now, or prepare to fight." said James.
"Meowth! That's right!" said Meowth.
"To be truly great criminals, we have to do things the hard way." said Jessie.
"And then we'll become harden criminals." said James.
"But it will be tough to reach the top." Jessie pointed out.
"Because we're afraid of heights!" Jessie and James exclaimed.
Back at the lighthouse, Ash and the others continued to stare at the Pokémon in front of them. "It can't be. That's Kabuto, an extinct Pokémon." said Brock. "I wonder what it's doing here."
"No, I'm not a Kabuto." said a familiar voice. "I'm Bill, the Pokémon researcher."
"Wait, are you a human being or a Pokémon?" asked Ash.
"This is a costume. I'm stuck inside it." said Bill.
"Do you need help getting out?" Ash asked.
"Yes, step up here." replied Bill.
"Tell me what to do." said Ash as he runs up to Bill.
"Push that button." Bill instructed him.
"This one here?" Ash asked.
"Yes. These arms are too short." Bill explained. "I tried to get out but I couldn't reach the button." Ash presses the button, causing the arms to be released and the suit to come off.
"Thanks for helping me get out." said Bill. "I've been stuck in that costume for hours."
"Did you come from a costume party?" asked Misty.
"No, it's not for a party." said Bill. "This is a special costume that I use in my research."
"Wow." said Trixie. "I wonder of Professor Oak does that."
"Riolu." said Meeko.
"Wow indeed. Getting inside its skin helps me get inside its head." Bill explains.
"What do you mean?" asked Ash.
"There are many kinds of extinct Pokémon, and I want to understand how they lived." Bill tells them. "Putting on a costume is one way of trying to figure out what they were like."
"You can understand what a Pokémon was like from wearing a costume?" asked Ash.
"How?" asked Trixie.
"Yes, indeed. Or I'm beginning to." said Bill, as he sits on the top step. "This planet was created 4.6 billion years ago. During that time, all kinds of Pokémon existed. They had many ways of living."
"All kinds of Pokémon? How many?" asked Ash and Trixie.
"On this planet, there are more than 150 known species of Pokémon."
"Over 150?" asked Ash.
"That's a lot of Pokémon!" said Jordan.
"Riolu!" added Meeko.
"You're lucky to be Pokémon trainers." said Bill as images of Pokémon appeared in front of them. "Your goal is to catch all these different kinds of Pokémon. That's a great task."
"Yeah, but so far I've only gotten eight." said Ash.
"And I only got three." said Trixie. On the screen behind them, Pikachu, Meeko and the others were highlighted in red.
"There sure are a lot of…" said Ash but was cut off by Bill.
"Of course, these are just the Pokémon we know about." said Bill. "There are still many Pokémon that have never been discovered, so we need to keep searching."
"How many could there be?" Ash quietly asks.
"No one knows exactly. The search goes on." answered Bill. "There's always something new to look for in our lives and in ourselves."
"Something to look for?" asked Ash.
"Yes, there's a lot for us to look for, inside and outside ourselves." said Bill.
"I wonder what though." said Trixie.
"Olu." said Meeko as she hops into Trixie's arms, causing the young girl to smile.
"There's meaning for every creature, a meaning for all the Pokémon, and a meaning for all us humans too." said Bill.
"A meaning for all." muttered Ash, then looks up at the images of Pokémon. Outside of the lighthouse, Team Rocket was climbing the cliff.
"Sometimes I wonder what the meaning of it all is." said Jessie. "Why do I go to all this trouble just to be bad?"
"It's so we can get other people's Pokémon." said James.
"I'm all for it, just as long as there's something in it for Meowth." said Meowth.
"Keep looking for new Pokémon to catch." Bill said to Ash, Trixie, Brock and Misty. "It's something that's very important for Pokémon research. It's as vital to me as it is vital to you. Right now, though, there's only one Pokémon I'm searching for."
"Really?" asked Trixie.
"What kind of Pokémon?" asked Ash. They stepped out onto the balcony.
"It's probably the biggest Pokémon ever." said Bill. "Bigger than all the rest. And no one has ever seen it. It's been wandering the world for years and years, looking for friends."
"But doesn't that Pokémon have any friends or family?" asked Misty.
"The Pokémon wanders because its alone." said Bill. "It's the only Pokémon of its species, one of a kind. One night, I heard this very strange sound coming across the ocean."
He then takes out a tape recorder and plays the recording. "'I want…I want to meet you.' That's what it said to me." Bill tells them.
"Pika." said Pikachu.
"Hey, Trixie, something's glowing in your backpack." said Brock, noticing a glow.
"Huh?" said Trixie, looking at her backpack then takes a look inside.
"Riolu?" asked Meeko as Trixie takes out one of the Pokémon eggs.
"It looks like that egg is about to hatch real soon." said Bill.
"I wonder if this egg is having a reaction to the recording Bill made." said Trixie.
"It could be." said Misty.
"Whichever Pokémon hatches from this egg, I bet it will be awesome." said Ash before they all looked back out to the ocean.
"Some time ago, I recorded a similar sound, and played it from the lighthouse towards the ocean." said Bill. "'Let's be friends. I want to meet you'. One day, I heard the same voice calling back to me from over the ocean. 'I want to meet you too. I want to be friends.' It was answering me back. Some foggy night, that Pokémon might come here to meet a friend it's been seeking for a very long time. I would be so happy to meet that Pokémon."
"But will you try to capture the Pokémon?" asked Ash.
"Why do I need to capture it?" questioned Bill. "Meeting it would be enough for me. Just a chance to study it would make my long wait worthwhile." Suddenly a plaintive wailing was heard from the ocean.
"Hmm? Huh?" they all said and gasped. In the distance, a shadowy form appeared in the fog, wailing and humming as it approached the lighthouse. "It's here. The signal." said Bill, pressing a button on his recorder, making the lights on the lighthouse change colors.
"It sounds like its singing." said Misty.
"Would you care to dance?" asked Brock.
"Oh, thank you." she replied as they started to dance. The egg in Trixie's arms glowed brighter than ever. "My Pokémon egg!" she exclaimed.
"Riolu!" exclaimed Meeko. Thanks to the humming, once the light was gone, in its place was a snake like Pokémon with webbed-like ears. "(Screeching)" said the Pokémon.
"You're the second most cutest Pokémon ever." said Trixie.
"What kind of Pokémon is that?" asked Ash.
"Let's ask Dexter later." said Brock as he and Misty continued to dance.
"Pikachu." sang Pikachu.
"Riolu, Riolu." said Meeko, following Pikachu's lead. Ash and Bill gasped at both the recent Pokémon egg hatching and the mysterious Pokémon out in the fog who then lets out a ghostly wail. On the side of the cliff, Team Rocket hears the sound. "What beautiful music." said Jessie.
"It's very haunting. Yet so sweet." said James.
"Look! It's coming from that thing!" shouted Meowth, pointing to the mysterious Pokémon in the fog.
"That's a big Pokémon." Jessie remarked.
"So size does matter." commented James.
"Something so rare and unusual. You know what that means." said Jessie. "Let's grab it for ourselves."
"Quite right. I'll attack it at once." said James, aiming the bazooka. "But it seems a shame to aim at such a sweet creature."
"Of course it's a shame. We built our fame on shame." said Jessie.
"Go on! Fire! It's all the shame to me." said Meowth and James fires. The mysterious Pokémon roars in pain as it was hit and attacks the lighthouse. Ash and Bill gasp as they and the others head inside. James fired again at the mysterious Pokémon, causing it to roar out in pain again.
"Please don't go, Pokémon!" Bill called out to it. "Please stay with us! I've waited so long for a chance to see you here."
The mysterious Pokémon roared as it shakes its head at him. "Pokémon, wait!" shouted Bill.
Jessie then fires a shot from her bazooka. "Do we always have to mess up everyone's plans?" asked James. "Even I think this is rotten."
"Quit complaining." said Jessie. "We could score big with this Pokémon."
Team Rocket screamed as the mysterious Pokémon's tail hits them. "We're blasting off again!" shouted Team Rocket.
"Pokémon." said Bill as the mysterious Pokémon walks away through the water in sadness.
"What kind of Pokémon was that anyway?" Ash asked the next morning.
"Whatever Pokémon it was, I'm thankful for letting this one hatch." said Trixie as the Pokémon in her arms, rubbing its head against her and Meeko as it wrap its body around her.
"Olu, Olu." Meeko said, nodding in agreement.
"Who knows?" said Bill, still staring out into the ocean. "Pokémon live in more ways and places than humans may ever learn."
Out on the shore line, Team Rocket had washed up. "What in the world was that?" asked James.
"One of the rarest Pokémon around." said Jessie, grudgingly. "It's exactly the type we've been trying to capture."
"We missed our chance, but we can keep dreaming." said James.
"When our Pokémon dreams come true, it's going to be somebody's nightmare." said Jessie.
"After all, tomorrow is another day." Meowth chimed in and all three of them laughed.
"I think looking for and catching Pokémon should help bring all of us together." said Ash.
"Learning to raise Pokémon is another way of understanding how to live with them." said Brock.
"And Pokémon are always lots of fun to play with." said Misty as Trixie smiles.
"Meanwhile, I'll stand watch for the giant Pokémon to appear at my lighthouse again." said Bill.
"Bill, do you think we'll ever find all the Pokémon there are?" asked Ash.
"No, Ash, there are probably as many as we can imagine." replied Bill. "Maybe many, many more. Maybe there's no limit to the Pokémon we can actually find on this planet." He then turns to face them. "Ash, you're a Pokémon trainer. I'm a Pokémon researcher, seeking out all kinds of life on this planet. Even if our paths are different, I think our goals are the same."
"Mm-hmm." said Ash, nodding.
"Before I forget, Ash, don't you want to know what Pokémon this is?" asked Trixie.
"Oh, yeah." Ash said, taking out Dexter.
"Dratini, the dragon Pokémon. Long considered a mythical Pokémon until recently when a small colony was found living underwater. It continually sheds its skin and grows steadily larger. Even the young can exceed 6.5 feet in length." said Dexter.
"Cool." said Ash.
"It's so cute." said Misty.
"Yes it is." said Trixie.
"Riolu." said Meeko.
"Pikachu." said Pikachu.
"Dratini!" squealed Dratini.
Narrator: Overtime, we uncover new information about the mysterious ways of the Pokémon. The more knowledge we gain, the more we realize how little we actually do know.
Trixie: Then again, that knowledge will probably go through one of my brother's ears and out the other.
Narrator: You may never know how much knowledge Ash will absorb, Jordan.
Trixie: True and only time will tell. You never know if it goes it one ear and out the other.
Narrator, laughing: And so the journey of discovery continues in the incredible world of Pokémon.
Trixie's Kanto Team:
Riolu, female, Meeko
Pidgey, Male, Rito
Squirtle, male, Squirt
Dratini, female, Mystic
