The setting changed to a bedroom where Roger was tossed in it before Randy poked his head in.
"Don't even think about sneaking out this door this time." said Randy.
Roger looked at Randy then briefly at a window then back at Randy.
"Okay." Roger said before jumping out the window backwards while giving Randy two middle fingers.
Randy screamed in shock and ran to the window.
"Oh crap, I should have seen this coming." said Randy.
Roger was falling down the sky chuckling and put his hands behind his head.
"This'll be good, I timed this perfectly so that I'd fall in the castle pool. I should be worried about anyone in the splash zone." said Roger.
In the audience; Darryl McGee was sitting in the only seat that was labeled splash zone and cheering.
"COME ON SPLASH ME!" He shouted.
Roger then landed in a tub of water that created some backsplash.
But unfortunately the splash of water wound up landing on everyone besides Darryl.
The Younger McGee boy saw this and groaned annoyed.
"OH COME ON!" yelled Darryl.
Roger climbed out of the tub soaking went and landed on the ground.
"What an idiot." said Roger.
He shook himself dry.
"Well, now to find another portal to the real world, odds are those servants sealed up the one I came in on." said Roger.
He began to walk off but stopped in his tracks upon realizing something.
"But wait a minute, Zebadiah must be here as well. I've got to get him out of here." said Roger.
He ran off.
The setting changed to a dungeon like setting where Zee was sitting in a cell clanging a coffee mug against a cell door.
"Nobody knows the trouble I've seen. Nobody knows my sorrow." Zee sang.
The guard outside his cell door who was Amity looked at Zee.
"Oh come on, do lighten up. Sing something with a little bounce in it." said Amity.
Zee did some thinking.
"It's a small world after all-"Zee sang before being interrupted by an angry Amity.
"NO, NO, anything but that." said Amity.
Zee then began singing High Hopes.
Amity was bobbing her head to the song as Zee noticed some keys on Amity's belt and began reaching for them while still singing.
But then a voice was heard.
"GUARDS, THE PRINCE OF TIME HAS ESCAPED, FIND HIM BEFORE THE KING REALIZES WHAT'S GOING ON!" yelled Randy's voice.
Amity groaned and stood up.
"My job isn't very easy." said Amity.
She turned to Zee who had his hands behind his back.
"Keep that place in the song." said Amity.
"Yes ma'am." said Zee.
Amity walked offstage.
Zee chuckled and pulled out the same keys that were on Amity from behind his back.
"I am good at this." said Zee.
He unlocked the cell door and it opened up.
"Be pretty upsetting if she found out her keys were missing." said Zee.
He then hung up the keys on a hook on a wall before running off.
He ran down one hallway and reached a corner before bumping into Roger, causing the two to fall to the ground and lose their respective prosthetic legs.
The two sat up groaning.
"Hey watch where you're going." said Roger.
He then noticed who it was and smiled.
"Zeb." said Roger.
Zee chuckled.
"Teenage New Year." Zee said before hugging Roger, "It's so good to see you dude."
"I jumped out a window just to see my friend." said Roger.
"Broke out of prison." said Zee.
The audience laughed.
"Come on, we've got to find a portal back to the real world and get you back before father realizes what's going on." said Roger.
"Way ahead of you." said Zee.
The two then put on their legs and stood up before nodding.
But then the audience started laughing, confusing the two amputee teens.
The two looked down and saw that they had each other's respective prosthetic legs on.
The amputee's became annoyed and removed the prosthetic legs they had on and returned them to each other.
"We're the only two amputee characters in this fic series, and this happens." said Roger.
"We'd better get out of here." said Zee.
"Good call." said Roger.
The two began to walk off but were stopped by Randy and Ben.
"Had a feeling you'd come here first." said Randy.
Roger became annoyed.
"I don't know if father is paying you enough, or not nearly enough for your hard work." said Roger.
"Your father wants to see you in the throne room about taking his place by midnight tonight." said Ben.
"Figures." said Roger.
The setting changed to a throne room where Roger and Zee were brought in and looked at Chef.
"Hello son." said Chef.
Roger bowed down.
"Father." said Roger.
Chef then noticed Zee and became confused.
"Who's this guy?" said Chef.
Randy and Ben gulped and looked at each other before turning back to Chef.
"New employee." said Randy.
Roger shook his head.
"What a load of crap, this is someone from the real world." said Roger.
Chef became shocked.
"Real world?" said Chef.
"Yeah, Zeb comes from Earth where I was hiding out in for the last day or two." said Roger.
Chef became mad and turned to Randy and Ben.
"You two told me my son had the flu." said Chef.
"Well your son snuck out of the castle and into the real world." said Ben, "Did you not hear that?"
"Whatever, I don't care if Teenage New Year snuck out of the castle walls to explore." said Chef.
Everyone was confused.
"You're not mad about what I did?" said Roger.
"I was young once, it's cool to rebel once in a while." said Chef.
He glared at Randy and Ben again.
"Is there a reason that the two of you didn't tell me the truth about my son?" said Chef.
Roger became shocked by what Chef said and looked at a very stunned Zee.
"Uh oh." said Roger.
Zee was close to crying, but then Roger grabbed him by the hair and dragged him offstage.
"Okay, come with me." said Roger.
Ripper in the audience was confused.
"What's up with him?" said Ripper.
"The break up wasn't really easy for him." said Axel.
Roger and Zee appeared in a dressing room before Roger closed the door and locked it.
The meerkat sighed.
"Okay, that's good." said Roger.
"There a reason you never told anyone, Axel used to ask that all the time." Zee said before he began crying.
Roger groaned.
"This from someone with nothing but good vibes." said Roger.
He walked to the crying Zee.
"What is wrong with you? You need to move on. My god." Roger said before he slapped Zee across the face per word, "Pull yourself together."
He stopped slapping Zee.
"I'm probably the last person you want to hear this from; but maybe you should let Axel be happy and move on." said Roger.
Zee became confused.
"What?" said Zee.
"Yeah, as much as I want to see you happy, I also want to see other friends of mine happy, and I've been messing with your emotions throughout the night by using unusual martial arts moves to keep you happy through the play." said Roger.
"You did what?" said Zee.
He became mad.
"I can't believe you. You had me changing from emotions through the night after a break up, I don't think you really are a friend. If you were, you'd help me through this by emotionally supporting me. I don't think you know what I'm going through right now." Zee said before turning away.
Roger looked at Zee's back and became sad.
"I do know what you're going through right now." Roger said before sitting on a chair, "I know exactly what you're going through, because it has happened to me before."
Zee became confused and looked at Roger.
"What did you say?" said Zee.
"I've been dumped several times by people I've gone out with before who I really liked." said Roger.
Zee turned back around.
"If you know what it's like, why haven't you talked about it?" said Zee.
"It's to painful to talk about." said Roger.
Zee kept on looking at Roger and the meerkat noticed it before sighing.
"Back in middle school when I was still living on Mobius, I met this one girl Tenrec, she was amazing and such. One day I went up to her and asked her out, and she said yes. We've been going out for three weeks, they were incredible. But then one day, she dumps me before a date to the movies which I end up going to alone. Eventually I find out that she left me for a wolf and was devastated." said Roger.
"And you were very down for a while I suppose." said Zee.
"Like anyone who got dumped would take it. But then I followed the two around for some time and realized that my ex was actually much happier with him and moved on." said Roger.
Zee became confused.
"Really?" said Zee.
"Well five days later I found out the guy was a drug dealer and turned him into the cops and she got arrested for being an accomplice." said Roger.
Zee looked at the readers in confusion.
"What, it's my civic duty to report any crimes to law enforcement." said Roger.
He cleared his throat.
"But my point is this; if you really do care about Axel, then maybe she really is happier with Ripper and you should allow it to run its own course." said Roger.
Zee did some thinking.
"Well she did seem happy with a poem Ripper wrote for her." said Zee.
"Exactly, you're getting-"Roger said before becoming shocked as a record scratching sound was heard, "Say what now?"
"Ripper wrote a poem for Axel." said Zee.
"Back up; you're telling me that Axel, a tough as nails girl who went through military school, many different kinds of survival classes, and quite possibly has a black belt in martial arts has an interest in poetry?" said Roger.
Zee nodded.
"Yeah." said Zee.
Sonic who had overheard everything came by.
"Did I hear correctly, Axel loves poetry?" said Sonic.
"Yes she does." Roger and Zee said at the same time.
"Huh, neat." said Sonic.
Interview Gag
Sonic was on his phone listening to the Black Sabbath song Solitude before pausing it.
"Anyone could end up reciting this song to Axel and claim it's poetry easily since it's basically just someone reciting a poem with quiet music." said Sonic, "But that'd be foolish due to copyright claim which I have no problem exploiting."
End Interview Gag
Roger and Zee appeared at the edge of a curtain and looked on at Ripper and Axel.
"Look at those two, don't they seem happy to you?" said Roger.
Ripper pulled out a Redvine before holding it between him and Axel and the two started biting the opposite end and got close to each other while eating the licorice before kissing each other at the middle.
Zee sighed.
"Yes, they are happy with each other." said Zee.
The two went backstage.
"Do you really want to be very miserable for life just because someone chose another over you, or would you rather be like Vlad Plasmius?" Said Roger.
Zee did some thinking.
"No, I'd rather all my friends be happy and not fight each other all the time." Said Zee.
Roger nodded.
"Good to know." Said Roger.
He and Zee walked back on stage.
"What kept you?" Said Chef.
"My bad, my friend over here had an upset stomach and I took him to one of the bathrooms to relieve himself." Said Roger, "By the way."
He pulled out a toilet plunger and gave it to Ben.
"You might want to unclog the toilet." Said Roger.
Ben shivered in disgust before walking off stage.
Everyone backstage saw him.
"That had to be a weird way to explain a brief absence." said Scratch.
Roger looked at Chef.
"Look, I'll take on the mantle of Father Time as is tradition. But all I ask in return is for my new friend to stick around here." said Roger.
Zee waved at Chef.
"No can do, there are rules about no outsiders being here." said Chef.
"Okay, I understand." Roger said, "But it is very interesting though, two of our servants brought an outside here through one of the portals leading to this place, if one person has seen this place, he might tell a lot of other people about it until this dimension becomes a tourist destination. He's to big a risk to return to the real world. Zeb might end up going to the press with this kind of info."
Chef became shocked before glaring at the two.
"He wouldn't dare." said Chef.
"I mean, I did blackmail your son twice in one day already, so." said Zee.
Chef grumbled and a light fell and almost fell on everyone.
"So do we got a deal, or are you going to wait until the next light ends up hitting your head?" said Roger.
Chef smiled.
"Deal." he said.
