"I don't feel the same as you, Tsukune Aono. Moka replied in front of the palace that was his ancestral home. "In fact, I've never felt anything besides curiosity and responsibility towards you.
Tsukune was completely silent, Moka expected a reaction beyond that, but all the young man was able to offer her about his statement was a tired smile. "I knew there was nothing possible between us now that... She's gone."
Yes, her other half was gone forever, the seal broken. The rosary shattered into a thousand pieces never to be seen again, a shameful memory for her, a proud vampire.
Yet, here we are. Moka crossed his arms and gave an almost tired sigh. "You and I would never work, Tsukune. If I accepted you as my mate, every time I would look into your eyes it would not be me who would be reflected on the horizon of yours, but a woman who shouldn't have ever existed."
"A man's got to try, doesn't he?" Tsukune replied, no longer staring into his eyes. "At the very least I'm grateful that you didn't beat me up for daring to woo you."
"There's no reason, you've proven yourself to be a good man. Even if you're too naïve for your own good. She moved closer and gave his shoulders a slight squeeze. Move on with your life— Moka wouldn't like you to stagnate in the place you are. There are other people to meet and now there is peace.
I-... I'm going to move on, I just need to process all of this. Tsukune replied as he pulled away from her slowly walking over to the other girls, her friends, and maybe her second family in the time she had been out of the human world. "Thank you, Moka. Thank you for everything.
She didn't answer him, watching the boy's back move away from her vision as the door to her house closed. She didn't feel sadness for the probable loss of contact and closeness that her other half and this boy had. She felt that it needed to be done and she needed to be absolute about it.
A woman can't accept what she doesn't believe she deserves. Just as a man shouldn't insist on something that wouldn't work. Moka said to herself within the vastness of the hall. Closing her eyes she let out a long, lingering sigh, allowing a small smile to spread onto her face.
It was nice to finally be able to choose.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Moka had left many of her other half's customs behind by the time she had broken free. Some "friendships" she had made during her stay at school had shattered the moment it was discovered that the gentle and affectionate Moka was no longer the true face of the vampire. There were plenty of relinquishings and arguments about it. But if there's one thing Moka had learned when she was sealed, it was patience.
She hoped that Moka's friends, especially Kurumu, even with their so-called fierce old rivalry, that the two truly were friends. It would be a long and arduous journey until the girl understood that this was no longer the reality of things. A long couple of weeks and weeks at a time of familiar faces coming and going to her with pleas and entreaties for her to let Moka come back.
Love was a really strong thing, wasn't it? Even in the face of the reality they already knew, they still insisted that the other Moka nevertheless continued to exist. She almost resented it all. The loyalty and love that wasn't for her but for half of her.
At some point, people began to accept the burden of things and stopped approaching her only to beg for someone's return. Slowly, they stopped getting closer for good. She was inevitably isolated in a corner while her once-friends decided to focus on the group and pushed her aside.
If her weaker, more insecure other half were present, there would be an eternal whine that she was abandoned, but she wasn't like that. She was different. She calmly and confidently accepted that her friendships were never with her, but rather with a different face. She understood and didn't hate anything about the situation, there was no sense for someone to be around someone who brought her a sense of insecurity and remorse.
During her last year of school, at least half of her time was spent looking for a quiet place to relax. Occasionally fighting with a few other students who dared to get too close now that she didn't have a source of immediate support, with many attempting to overpower her.
She always slaughtered them to the point where they couldn't crawl out of her reach. She always kept them alive, yet she had somehow lost some of her appetite for the pain of others. One of the consequences of dividing existence with its opposite.
Her reputation changed drastically. Occasionally she attracted the attention of some younger students who were newly admitted to the academy. All of them were eager to meet the most beautiful vampire and possess her as soon as rumours about her began to fly.
She found a certain pleasure in turning everyone down. There was no point in letting yourself be satisfied by something that didn't feel right. There's no purpose in accepting what isn't worthy of attention. So almost everyone was politely rejected, some had to be put in their place when they didn't respect the rejection.
It would possibly be a monotonous end to school with no great adventures, with no cult or powerful enemies to deal with. She could maybe even play at being normal, by her standards of course.
But no... Not at all.
Something bigger had decided that it wouldn't be that simple and repetitive. The entry of a transfer student came to shake up Moka Akashiya's routine. She crossed her eyes over his on any day like any other, but when he didn't flinch when they found her rubies of blood that had always caused everyone to be afraid, she became curious.
A closer look at her, a smell, and a single day of paying attention to the student and she was sure that he wasn't a monster, not a demon, nor an angel or anything like that.
He was nothing more and nothing less than a human. And not a human who was something more like Tsukune Aono had once been. This was a pure and simple, human.
Why are you here? Moka asked him one day, as she surrounded him in the vaccant hallway within the school. "I know who you are.
The young man's green and blue eyes stared at her with a short smile on his face — not even a single drop of fear was felt on his person. He was calm, too calm for someone pressed by a pure vampire like her.
Anywhere is better than being where I come from. He said ominously, his smile remaining steadfast, Moka smelled a bittersweet smell, the finest bitter taste of fear, but it didn't come from her, no, it came from something she couldn't see. "Are you going to report me?"
"I'm not the judge of your fate, I just wanted to know why you're here." She pulled her arms from his face and let his smaller body move away from the wall. "This place isn't exactly suitable for humans, especially a weakling one like you."
He didn't resent her offense, calmly accepting it as a fact. As if he understood on a much deeper level the difference between the two. "Of course, thank you for keeping my secret... If there's nothing else, I have a class to attend."
He bent down, picked up his backpack that she had dropped during her... Investigation and walked away from her as if nothing had happened.
Moka burned the image of him into her mind, unshaken by his presence.
"What is your name?" She asked in a grunt, not exactly ecstatic that she didn't know it.
The younger one turned his face and stared at her , this time without a smile, just a horizon of half-answers on his face.
Dopel.
Moka could only stare at the sway of his coal-black hair, melting into the darkness of the hallway, then vanishing as if he wasn't ever there.
She stared at the ground clenching her fists.
Another secret? Another adventure? She cursed herself, but she needed to know where it would lead.
So she did what felt right for her. Watch and observe what could happen to the young human who was inadvertent and purposeful? He had entered a place that would spit him out dead at the first chance. She was strangely attentive to the details that lay around the young man.
He was a boy, that was for sure, but his appearance was clearly that of a girl, with androgynous features in every corner of his face, long black hair tied in a braid propped up over his shoulders, reflected in the sunlight. The way he was Moka would pay gold for someone who said he was a man instead of a woman. Isolated for safety the way he was, there was a good sense not to seek friendships and be found out, she faced this problem years ago with Tsukune, it was good not to get directly involved.
It was almost a full week during which Moka watched him at the end of each class, head to the cafeteria, get his share of anything he could acquire, then walking away, returning to a corner in the forest which held a few stone tables here and there within its branch ordained canopy. The treetops provided cover letting only a few slivers of the sun beam through.
Watching him had become her routine. She calmly came to that conclusion and didn't show too much dismay about the fact that she was basically watching him 24/7. One day, the young human took a long time to appear on the dirt path that led to the forest. He was methodical, he kept a schedule that only he knew, so at the moment when he wasn't where he would normally be, humming alone... She knew something had happened.
Then she chased his scent, showing her the way to him. Moka sensed the imminent danger when the smell showed her a restricted path teetering off from the school. It was an abandoned place where she didn't go — just so she wouldn't have to deal with the rabble.
She could handle anything, but Dopel was another matter. He swiftly stormed the place and found resistance at the ready. They were just monsters of lower bloodlines, puppets of somebody stronger.
His nose tightened at the familiar smell — it was blood. She felt her eyes lighten up and quickened her pace, crossing paths with a few more monsters, she defeated them with ease and brutality. Shattering their spirits as she chased the smell of blood she knew inside who it was.
A magical barrier, formed in such a pathetic way that the simplest of grips would break it. She shattered the barrier and broke down the door.
There were a few beasts sitting around a table, and in the middle of that table tied up with a grave wound on his arm was Dopel. Completely unconscious.
There was silence, the leader of this group, a spider-woman didn't dare breathe when she felt the gaze of a pure-blooded vampire that was Moka staring at her as if demanding an explanation.
One of the creatures flinched as Moka's energy began to leak out of her pores, making the large room too small to stay in.
Moka felt his heart clench and his anger surge like a tidal wave, unwarning and disastrous. "It looks like a secret has been revealed..." she slowly approached the woman carrying the gun who had allowed Dopel's blood to flow, she shook her head.
She couldn't be distracted by the smell. Not now.
Moka had thought that the pleasure of hurting and above all, the pleasure of killing had already greatly diminished within her. Without dangerous enemies and imminent threats, Moka really dared to think that she had lost a drop of cruelty..
But when she noticed the smile reflected on her own face as she crushed the bones of the leader of this cursed cult, she realized that her wickedness wasn't gone, it had simply lost its purpose for existing. She was quick and brutal to everyone present. there wasn't any point in letting anybody leave with their life.
She calmly noticed that Dopel thankfully hadn't woken up. Probably because of some spell that forced him into a deep slumber, something she could easily break; when she noticed one of the minions that had their bones broken — finding the strength to crawl to the door, a cold smile spread over her face as she let the woman's still frame fall to the floor.
"Help..." the monster wailed as he used his claws to pull himself forward, to get out of his situation. To survive. He moved far enough from the room for his back to get out of there, but just as he tried to pull himself further out, a light, cold hand pulled him back into the room.
With the dim lighting of that place, the monster trembled for his life — he could no longer see the vampire woman's face, only the vengeful red glow gleaming in the darkness. He heard a calm, cold, almost melodic laugh, causing his heart to shiver within his chest.
"You're a wolf, creature." Moka said almost gently to the monster as she placed her hands onto its neck. "You should have smelled me on him and walked away, there's no one to save you from your own stupidity."
A single squeeze and a twist;there wasn't a shred of life left in that spot except the sound of blood splattering onto the ground and the sound of restrained breathing.
Moka walked away from the deceased and promptly broke the seals that held Dopel's body onto the table. Her intention was to quickly get him out of there and to remove any residue of her presence. But the smell, the sweet smell of something she hadn't tasted in a while, was tempting her like the whispers of a demon.
She grabbed Dopel's arm by the pulse, and ran her tongue down his drained bloodline, seizing the line of sweet nectar for herself.
Her pupils dilated and she lost herself in the frenzy of taste that was running through her body. She felt her throat tighten in need, her fangs leaping forward and for a second she considered tearing that human's flesh and getting fed.
As she pondered what to do, Dopel woke up and she trembled within his eyes. There was no fear, there was no fear, nothing passed through those eyes, the bright green seemed dull, the blue looked like a deep ocean without hope, his face was an iron mask and the smile was more false than the promises the nefarious had spread throughout the world.
They looked at each other intently, one with trepidation, and the other with nothing but something she couldn't name.
She watched him brush the hair from her neck, while murmuring into her ears. "If my taste is so good to you that you can't think, then take what you need."
Moka let out a breath she only just noticed that she was holding and rose from the ground, slowly approaching, trying to meet his gaze again, but he left her face turned — neck bare, unprotected, waiting for her to take possession and get fed.
She wasn't woman enough to have common sense now. Holding on slowly and subtly, she sat down on the edge of the table and let her weight sink over his chest, holding him by the side of her face, she dug her fangs into his neck, she felt his smaller body tremble and the thinnest of wails escaped him. Her heart tightened, but hunger drowned his wails and she allowed herself to drink the blood; she knew in her heart that its taste wouldn't be forgotten throughout the remainder of her immortal life.
She noticed his smaller body clinging to her back as the slightest tremors passed through her body, she realized that she had spent a full minute literally sucking the life out of him. She collected her fangs as she caught her breath, her stomach full and satisfied, the smell in the air strong but not so tempting now that she had drunk her fill.
Dopel's breathing was lighter than before. Moka realized that it made him weak to the point where he could no longer maintain consciousness. A new and distinct knot of guilt tightened around her ribs, and she snapped him out of that horrible place.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Waking up and feeling his body weak and battered was nothing new to him, it never was. The new burning sensation in his neck and the new sensation of a weakness that he hadn't felt really made him dizzy, it wasn't the common feeling of hunger or lack of sleep, it was something new.
He looked around the hospital wing of the school, hearing loud voices and the occasional scream. He tried to get up, only to feel a pain in his supporting arm. Noticing that there was now a bandage wrapped from his shoulder to his forearm. He sighed heavily as he pondered what his mind could recall.
There was an ambush indeed. He was suddenly caught in a strong spider web over his body — he was so taken aback by the situation that he didn't have the subtly to call for help. Soon he was pulled up a staircase filled with other monsters who were watching him as if he was the most exquisite piece of meat they had ever put on that table.
Taken to a part of the woods that he wasn't stupid enough to enter, let alone get close to, but he wasn't given a choice when he was dragged there. There was a strong smell of sulfur and something else in that building and he felt his mind quickly wander elsewhere.
By the time he regained his mind, he was already bleeding and they were already letting his blood flow as they muttered words he had never heard before. A bittersweet thought that he would die in such a tragic way and no one would know occurred through his mind as he resented what fate had in store for him.
When he opened his eyes again he thought he would be somewhere besides where he had been tied up and made a sacrifice, only to find that extremely bossy girl staring at him as if he was made of glass, but it didn't take long for him to notice that she had his blood in her mouth — looking at it differently.
It wasn't until that moment he realized she was a vampire, and then as thanks for saving his life, he decided it was only fair to give her what she seemed to be begging with her eyes.
It was a different feeling, helpless like every time he felt trapped on a body stronger than his, but it wasn't all bad. His body was just too weak to understand what had really happened. He held on as best he could to the vampire's body as she drained his blood, drop by drop.
He remembered looking at her face once more and seeing her immensely satisfied expression before he collapsed into fatigue again; now he was there, and by the horizons placement, it was no longer morning.
"You're awake." The nurse's voice resounded in the shaded room. "How are you feeling?" She asked as she approached with a few syringes in her hands and a small white briefcase.
"As normal as I've ever been." Was his reply, hiding his smile when he noticed the strange expression that formed on the woman's face. "Thank you for taking care of me."
"I didn't do anything but my job." The nurse replied dismissively. "And now I'm getting paid to do another one."
Dopel stared at her for a moment, waiting for her to continue.
"It's now known to me that you're human, something like this realistically can't be masked for that long. I'm honestly surprised you've lasted so long without being noticed. You've been here for almost three weeks."
There was a bitter taste in his mouth at this. He would have to go back... Home?
No. She read his thoughts as she began to inject something into his arm. "Extraordinary circumstances have occurred and are still occurring while I'm giving you protein batteries; you should consider yourself very lucky.
Dopel didn't want to meddle too much in the matter, but he wanted to at least understand if someone influential was helping him.
What's really going on?
The nurse trained a single eye onto his forehead; promptly answering him. "The princess and the current heiress of the vampires are clearly saying that you'll stay in school even though you're human; now there's a lot to answer for.
He slammed his body against the pillow, letting out a very long sigh as he checked his heart rate. He wouldn't come back then.
Good. Very good.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Moka did not regret what she did. In fact this was her first action as an individual being that she was sure she had done correctly. Within her desires. Within her morality and perception. Using her influence to alter the narrative of events — bribing and threatening those she needed to was the best alternative and she would do it again with a grin on her face.
The secret that Dopel was human no longer remained a secret — at least to the investigation committee, the school delegation, and anyone of respectable standing who was involved.
There were too many people, admittedly too many people, but at least it wouldn't leak out of them. She had and made sure of it. A single request came from her and the sky opened, a few visits were made, payments were put on the line; threats had to be made, but everything worked out in the end.
No one would ask questions as to why more than ten creatures were found dead in a secluded area of the school; no one would bother any of those involved; by that she meant no one would be crazy enough to go and find Dopel to harass him about information for what had ensued.
There was a version that distorted certain details — that was enough for Moka. Now she had other things to focus on, like what she was doing now. She had decided shortly after Dopel recovered from what had occurred that she had the power and desire to make sure it never happened again. Now she accompanied him wherever he went.
There was a long conversation between the two of them as soon as she led him to her dorm and left him on her bed, he in any case should not be here, but no one would be crazy to report it. An agreement was made the same night after just a few hours of discussion.
Moka would protect him and ensure that he longer remained the target of any kind of evil. She would keep him company and act as a bodyguard; in return he would avoid contact with any third parties as much as possible and seek to be alone to avoid attracting the attention of any other monster. Especially with his scent.
Above all, the payment for such security as well as a payment for Moka making the whole problem of him being discovered vanish, would be to for her to be able to drink his blood sporadically, not enough to drain his life — but enough for her to be satisfied for the week.
When the deal was sealed, Moka's routinely life changed again, and she didn't care in the slightest.
Wherever Dopel stood the attentive and watchful figure of Moka the vampire would follow. It didn't take more than a few days for everyone to notice the pattern, a new unfamiliar student casually walking with the most mystical and desired figure in the entire school? They had to get closer somehow and find out how he did it, and if they could? Take his place.
Of course, such absurdity was soon put to a bitter and bloodthirsty end when Moka broke them and made it strikingly clear that approaching the pair of them was out of bounds. The punishments were severe; even those who were the most scandalous in their desires for the beautiful vampire dared not move against the boy. there was no glory to be won and no woman to be had if they were dead.
It wasn't a well-kept secret that Moka had already killed a few monsters simply because Dopel had been threatened. Everyone knew; yet no one talked about it because everyone feared the consequences.
The question he didn't want to keep quiet was, who was this student and why was someone like Moka so eager to leave her self-imposed isolation and act as his bodyguard?
Moka never allowed anyone to experience satisfaction from her. she simply waited for Dopel to come out of his own classes, then the two of them would go to the cafeteria, take whatever was needed and go to a part of the forest that no one visited. It was now known as The Dead Nest.
Gin, one of the older students, a proud and idiotic werewolf had decided to put an end to it and teach Dopel a lesson about the hierarchy system. Everyone heard him brag that he was going to finish off the cute little boy and bring Moka back in his arms.
At the end of it all, Gin had been missing for days and no one had the strength of mind to go look for him at his last known whereabouts.
Moka was brutal and visceral, alongside that she seemed to have no mercy. Everyone had seen her in action before. She had always been cruel and vengeful; now there was a touch of something extra when she fought, something neither of them could name.
During the first few months of this new dynamic, Moka lost count of how many students she fought and chased away from where she and Dopel had been accustomed to staying in their free time. It wasn't news to any student that Moka often visited the boys' dormitory where Dopel slept and simply walked into the room. No questions asked and without any fear. Rumors were many and certain answers were impossible to procure.
They were together, married, they were lovers, an arranged marriage made at the last minute, a curse engulfing them and forcing them to stay together for so long, whatever the narrative of the lowly, one thing remained a constant.
Stay well away from Dopel, pretend he doesn't exist if you can, don't breathe the same air as him, and Moka won't come after you. She was absolutely happy when she began to hear the rumors. It would discourage the sensible and any fool who dared get too close would simply die.
One of these days, Moka was walking back from her classroom to meet up with Dopel so they could hang out together. That's when She Abruptly noticed a figure she hadn't directly seen at school since their last conversation.
Tsukune.
She frowned when she noticed that Dopel didn't exactly seem comfortable with whatever Tsukune was doing, she felt her nose bulge at that and briskly crossed the length of the hallway.
As soon as Tsukune noticed Moka no longer emitted an inviting and respectful presence, he took a few steps away from the boy's personal space. He came towards her, no doubt to ask questions.
"Moka..." Tsukune said in greeting, looking at her intently, out of fear, she noticed with some appreciation. "It's been a while."
"What do you need?" Moka cut off the greeting, cold and sharp as a knife..
Tsukune was silent for a few seconds as she alternated glances at the dark-haired boy; watching in surprise as Moka and Dopel's figures alternated within a matter of seconds.
As soon as Dopel realized that Moka was nearby, he shrugged his shoulders, and placed himself behind her. Moka covered his body with her back while she stood with her arms crossed, glaring directly at Tsukune. She was looking at him not as an old friend, or an acquaintance with shared memories. But as a threat.
"I've heard some rumors, and I've come to clear up my doubts." Replied the young man cautiously, now being sure that at least some of them held a grain of truth. "And from what I see, they're not too far from the truth."
Moka squinted as she dissected what he meant by that. "And why did you decide to interrogate my protégé?" You could have come to me instead.
"Your protégé?" The surprise in Tsukune's voice was noticeable even to the most obtuse.
"My. My protégé." She repeated with some vehemence. "Now that I've clarified our situation, it's time for you to clarify yours, and quickly."
"Moka, it's me." Tsukune frowned at the vampire. "I hope you know me well enough to know that I don't come to threaten anyone, especially someone who hasn't done anything to me. But I'll admit that I came here to find out more about what I've been hearing."
"What have you been listening to then, Tsukune Aono?" Moka asked as she crossed the distance, staring him straight in the eyes, Tsukune realized that it was no longer Moka's gentle eyes, nor the impartial eyes that the vampire once stared at him with. She looked terribly tense and ready to fight, why?
"I heard you killed a student... Because of him." Tsukune pointed her finger at Dopel, only for her to slap his palm and turn her fist sideways.
An even greater silence permeated the air. The students around were watching, curious looks, more rumors, and more delusions were already forming; Moka knew that this was going to turn into an endlessly spiraling sphere.
"Moka..." Tsukune said slowly. "Do you realize what you're doing?"
"Protecting what's mine." She replied succinctly. "By any means necessary."
Dopel grabbed Moka by the hand — pulling her away, wanting to get out of the corridor full of stares. He never felt good being watched and now he looked even worse.
She relented in the name of his request and walked away with him, practically accepting she was being dragged away. Although she didn't miss the opportunity to send one last warning glance at Tsukune, a look that told him to be careful.
The said boy just stared, noticing the way Moka was acting. A crazy, very crazy idea crossed his head. He thought that the madness of being in a parallel world had finally arrived. Tsukune dared to think, what if Moka, the proud and powerful vampire that everyone feared yet worshiped, was finally discovering what love was?
Impossible... But maybe...
Shaking his head, he decided to ignore this kind of thinking. It was no longer his problem, he knew that there were things he had no right to get involved in. It hurt the way Moka treated him, even if the logical part of his brain had offered the answer that the real Moka and him were nothing but acquaintances who had spent time together in the past. It didn't mean anything.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Dopel always prided himself on how good he was at observing others, how smart he was to be able to recognize the signals that others' bodies emanated. It was a skill he had no choice but to develop so that he would suffer as little as possible while growing up. It wasn't hard for him to notice how tense and nervous Moka was. Her silver hair was practically floating without the slightest breeze around, her fists were completely clenched; she stared tensely at the ground.
It was the first time Dopel had seen her nervous like that, he had seen her get angry towards other monsters especially before a fight, but now it felt different, it felt personal.
Overcome with the desire to relieve the tension in the body of someone he considered close, he had her sit on the bench, satisfied that she was offering no resistance. Unceremoniously he placed himself on her lap, feeling her cross her arms around his waist, with a slightly questioning look at his actions, but nonetheless she didn't push him away.
He removed the braid from her way; baring his neck — with an open and inviting gesture. Moka stared at him in such a way that he thought she wanted to burn his face, such was the seriousness of her eyes.
"The payment was yesterday, I drank enough until next week." Moka's voice was nothing more than a low whisper in the vastness of the forest, but Dopel could feel the signs he had learned to recognize in the vampire. Desire.
"I'm offering it again, for I know that when you drink my blood, you calm down." he replied softly, leaning down his back, leaving his head resting on the elder's shoulders, he noticed Moka bite her lips, as if she wanted to say something;she didn't say anything and simply held him close to her body as she brought her fangs out into the world, with practiced care and a delicacy that any observer would not dare say belonged to Moka, She dug her fangs into his skin.
Dopel felt some of his strength drain away as she felt the eldest hold him tightly as she fed up on her blood, he could hear the small sounds of pleasure she made as he felt himself sucked into her, he closed his eyes; in a strangely morbid way he felt truly safe.
Moka noticed that she had slightly overdone it when she noticed that Dopel's grip on her slackened and his breathing dropped a few measures, turning her face she soon noticed that the younger one had underestimated the strength of his own body, she fed on him over and over again on repeated days. There was a limit to this, the consequence being that he had fallen asleep on her lap.
There was no one to witness it, but the way Moka Akashiya held him in her arms didn't feel right. It wasn't the touch of a monster, no.
It was a lover's touch, and when Moka dared to think about it she thought that maybe, just maybe, that the strangest rumors about how they were in love weren't so impossible anymore.
Thinking about it, it made sense how much further along the journey they were going. Moka didn't voluntarily spend time with anyone, she acknowledged that she was frigid, politely calculating during the best of days, aloof, and prone to violence at any trigger no matter how small.
She sought and accepted isolation with satisfaction, only to jump at the first opportunity to get involved when a boy she knew nothing about, but his name needed help; not only did she go out of her way to make sure he stayed in school, in her life; she was also actively protecting him. ven against the most nefarious and scandalous creatures.
The sudden realization that she gave him special treatment hit her like a hurricane. She accepted it as best she could, she in fact gave him more than special treatment, it was unique and exclusive...
She didn't notice, but her hand reached for his hair and began stroking it as he slept soundly in her lap.
It wasn't as if Dopel was exactly normal, even for a species as eccentric as humans. Moka knew in his heart that Dopel was different, whether in his appearance, mannerism, and circumstances.
She wanted to know more, wanted to be able to ask and find out a lot more than she knew. If it had been anyone else, Moka would have forced the answers by any means necessary, but the thought of coercing Dopel made her sick.
Perhaps... Could they talk about it in the future? Moka would try to see where that could go now that the thought had finally flashed through her mind.
The next day, she asked Dopel to leave the door to her dorm room open for her, as she wanted to talk to him. Unsurprisingly, he smiled and said he would be waiting for her. Moka had never felt a day pass as slowly as today, the hours seemed endless, passing quickly only during the intervals when they were together, peacefully, in their corner.
Night finally took off from her own room, cutting through the entire school with frightening speed as she made her way to the boys' dormitory wing on the other side of campus within seconds — such was her longing.
She was breathing deeply... She noted with some distress. It wasn't in her nature to be nervous. She had fought beasts and demons more than anyone. So why did the idea of talking to a simple human child make bring her so... So on the edge?
Knocking on the door thrice, slowly as she always did. The door opened and Moka felt her heart beat faster as she noticed Dopel's expectant face at the door inviting her in. Moka was no stranger to his dorm, but this time it felt different, it didn't feel like a situation where she would stay for a while, talk about trivial things and then wish him goodnight. It felt very personal. Much more intimate.
Entering the room, the sight of the tidy and organized place was nothing new, there were some small lamps spilling light throughout the small room, but still comfortable enough that he could sleep.
He offered her tea, she already knew he liked to drink some before bed. she usually refused, but maybe it would be good to have a cup this time?
The silence was strangely comfortable. Dopel didn't seem to be in a hurry to say anything. She wouldn't think it strange if he was giving her time to think about what to say, he was careful in a gentle way like that.
She was sitting in one of the chairs at the small circular table, noticing that Dopel sat next to her with his own cup of tea. He held one out to her as he settled in the silence, looking at her with a small smile on his face.
Moka remained silent for a few moments. A huge pressure in her chest was building and it was absolutely disconcerting to bear. She needed to say something, she said she needed to talk about something, but she was speechless!
"We can stay like that for as long as it takes, you know." Dopel commented as if he could read the turbulent ideas in her head, as he quietly drank his tea. "The worst thing is to say words we're not ready to say."
Moka stopped staring at her cup and looked deep into his eyes. Eyes she constantly noticed she liked to lose herself in and imagine the finest of possibilities.
"I'm not good at talking about my feelings." Moka whispered. "Actually, I wouldn't even be able to tell if I have feelings if you asked me."
Dopel remained silent, watching her and respecting as long as it took for her to say what seemed stuck inside her throat.
"Dopel, I'm a vampire who will never know what death is, who will never be able to sympathize with human feelings at their core. I will be alive and walking this Earth as long as it exists, in the millennia to come, everyone around me is doomed to be dust and dust, and only I will remain, unchanging and unfading over time." She said as she held out her hand. Dopel promptly extended his and felt the frigid and comfortable touch of her skin. "The idea of falling in love crossed my mind throughout my maturation. It was a silly and dangerous thing... Something that no first-class vampire like me can afford to experience, I thought I was doomed to duty and that my body had no right to experience what it was like to have true emotions. From the bottom of my heart, I thought that was what was in store for me."
Dopel felt her fingers play with his as she regained her voice. Her mind seemed clouded, lost between memories of the past and the voice of the present.
"That remained true, it remained until our... Situation happened and I started look forward to my time with you." Moka stared at him again, the red eyes of a vampire staring into the soul of a human she didn't want to let go. "I don't know how to say it any other way, or in a way that warms your heart, but it remains a fact that I fell in love with you, a human. I thought such a thing was impossible for me, but every time I see you I feel like taking you to my castle and giving you the power of immortality, where you and I will spend the ages drowning in each other's bodies, unstoppable in our affection and inseparable in our oaths."
Silence filled the air. Moka felt her chest flow and expand, a new sensation. She thought she could no longer feel her own heartbeat. But she was wrong, hers was beating for this human. Her human.
"Are you making me a proposal, my vampire?" Dopel asked as he offered her the most contagious smile she'd ever seen, making her chest swell at the sight.
"Yes, it is an oath that if you accept me as your own, I will make you mine for as long as the world lasts."
When he got up from his chair, Moka felt compelled to get up too; it only took a single sign for her to stand still to the point until her legs lost their strength. Sitting on his lap, bringing his arms around her neck and then onto her face, Dopel held her as if she were made of porcelain, such lightness and such care made her eyes clouded with something she could not discern. But it was running down his face.
"I've never loved anyone, and for a long time I thought I wasn't worthy of such an emotion. I grew up hearing hurtful words that I was nothing but the only being who didn't deserve such a thing. Just like you say the idea of having the ability for someone to love me, or even to love seemed foolish, a dream that was nothing but torture... yet, here you are, to prove to me that it wasn't impossible."
Moka's heart clenched as Dopel told her about how he felt about himself. She swore that she would put an end to such notions in her head. He was worthy. He really was the one.
"But just like you, every time I see you, every time I find myself in your arms I feel safe. It is as if the world could turn against me; as long as I am on the swing that you rule, I will fear no evil. I can't give you promises that I'll know what to do, but I promise that as long as you accept me by your side, that's where I'll stay."
Moka felt her throat dry, her heart wanted to jump out of her ribs. She could feel her own blood flow from her veins, desire, the old desire for conquest was burning, it was screaming, begging for something that she finally recognized.
This being in her lap, this young human that she now knew she wouldn't let belong to any other woman but her. The inner voice, the instinct that she had ignored for many years was screaming for her to possess him. For her to take possession of all that he was and sink her fangs into his body and scream to the heavens..
She closed the distance, holding his face by the chin with her fingertips.
The softest of kisses resounded in that room, then another... And yet another. A barely contained moan was present as their mouths closed on each other and Moka finally began to get a hold of her treasure. Moka held him by the face and hip as her tongue plundered his for all that was worthwhile, it was tempting, light and audacious.
She found endless pleasure when she realized that this was his first kiss; she was the one to conquer such a thing. She kept him firmly in her grasp, getting drunk on his essence and finally finding the meaning and satisfaction of having someone worthwhile within her arms.
Allowing the younger one to walk away for a well-deserved breath of air, a thin trail of saliva connected their mouths. the surprised and satisfied expression, the panting, the dilated pupil, all these features that formed an image of him that Moka would burn into embers inside her memory never to forget in all her long life.
"I want to fuck you." Only after her desires had resounded in such a raw way did she realize what she said. Embarrassed she noticed that Dopel was extending a smile from ear to ear at her words, happily surprised by her frankness.
"We have a bed and desires..." Dopel began to sprinkle kisses on her neck, tempting her like a little demon. She could feel a desire in her core, an emptiness that she could finally know what it was like to be filled. "All I ask is care, my body is not durable like yours. At least not yet."
She nodded, rising from her chair and it didn't take her even half a moment to take off the top of her uniform. When she directed her gaze to her now companion, she lost herself in the composition of his body. It was beautiful, a fine sculpture meshed in detail that she could contour with her tongue if she was given permission.
He was thin, his body made to please and be held, she would make it happen. A vein of pride leapt through her as she realized that his eyes were lost in the valley of her breasts. She would let him admire as much as he wanted, he was the only one whose lust of the eyes would be flattering and encouraged.
With careful steps, she crossed the short distance, slowly removing her skirt, leaving her with only a dark undergarment with red trim on its lace. She dressed to impress at that moment, and by her watchful eye she had hit the nail on the head.
Pushing his younger's body onto his bed. She made him lie down placing her hips over his. As soon as she allowed her weight to rest on his pelvis, a hard spike poked her over her core, a strong urge to rub herself on that edge was present, but she would have done things differently tonight.
Undoing the bundle of her bra, she let her breasts free at last, an arrogant smile adorning her face as she realized that her human seemed captivated by them. So captivated that she couldn't resist the idea of taking his hand and bringing it up to her breasts.
"Why only observe when you can feel and taste?" She encouraged him.
Subtly, Dopel leaned his back forward, holding Moka by the hip as he began to nibble on her nipple, taking even more of her breasts into his mouth as Moka's voice began to resonate in immediate approval.
She ran her nails slowly down his back, sending shivers down every bit of the way, finding satisfaction when she felt his desire for her grow. His hands began to subtly wander down her body, from her busts, from her belly to her hips, until finally resting on her ass, squeezing and groping all the flesh he could find.
Moka pulled herself away from Dopel's grip as she lifted her hips high enough to remove her last piece of clothing. Naked as she was, there were no words to describe the feeling of being like this, in this room, at this current moment.
Crawling a little, she put her fingertips on what separated her companion from his nakedness, she needed to know what it was like to finally see him in his entirety, without modesty, just the two of them and their desires.
There was a bit of embarrassment on his part, she adorably noticed. But there was nothing to be ashamed of. His cock was stiff and imposing in that room, she noticed that the cold touch of her hands was pleasurable to him. She smoothed his length carefully, trusting nothing but her instincts to tell her what to do, the sounds of his pleading telling her how good this felt served to motivate her even more.
When Dopel felt Moka's breath on his cock he knew something big was going to happen; with absolute pleasure in his eyes he was watching the most beautiful vampire feast on his cock as soon as she put it in her mouth. The drooling sound of lips on his flesh was loud, the moan of pleasure and satisfaction was best to nothing. Moka was devouring him, running her tongue over the tip of his cock as if she was idolizing him, sucking hard on his head, as if tasting all of him.
His hands reflexively searched the tops of their heads, forcing his beautiful vampire's throat to accommodate his entire length; from her passionate gaze there was no better decision than that. Moka would absolutely go all the way to find out everything that was needed to make this memorable for both of them. She could do that.
Giving one last stroke of her lips to her human's cock, she splashed a few kisses on his head and pulled away, taking in some air for herself. "Did you like it?"
Dopel could barely breathe. "I loved it. I loved it too much."
Moka's pride inflated like a balloon, it was good to know she was natural at it. "Let me assume." She straddled herself on his hips again, bending down to kiss him again. Being welcomed by the youngest, her body practically covering his. Moka could sense her mate and his desire through their kisses. They needed to consummate the vows, in every way possible.
She rubbed her pussy lips over his cock, teasing and satisfying herself in his whines, loving the way he controlled himself so he wouldn't demand that she hang onto his cock all the way. She lifted her hips slightly, fitting his head into her needy pussy. In a light, tortuous motion she began to sink into him, allowing her to take everything he had inside her.
Moka did this while letting out the most humiliating sound she had ever screamed. She never thought she would be able to sound like that. This wasn't a powerful vampire, this was a very needy woman. Looking at Dopel's face, he was crying with pleasure, she began to kiss his tears, consuming the burning sensation of pleasure he was in. It was natural, his body wasn't prepared to deal with hers, but that would change soon, for now she needed to take things easy.
She calmly settled in completely. Feeling full from the handle to the root, she let out a loud moan as she leaned on her boyfriend's back, standing up, feeling the cock inside her come out, only for her to bring back it back in as she rocked her hips, taking control of everything, leaving the youngest buried in the weight of her legs and hips as she rode him for all he was worth. Telling him how full she was, how good it felt to feel him tremble inside her, letting him know how full she felt, full of him, full of her man's cock.
She kept control for a few minutes, finding a new pleasure in hearing his sounds, in smiling at the pleasure they were immersed in. A single warning, her name in a scared and needy sound was all the warning needed for her to stick deep into his cock and let her hips move from side to side. Feeling Dopel bite her neck as she leaned forward with her finally feeling complete as he spurted cum inside her womb, scarring her forever.
She drained him completely, she left him dry. Dopel wouldn't stop whispering her name like a mantra as she let him flood her pussy and womb with his seed. She stood on top, with the perfect feeling of fulfillment as they declared their love for each other, pulling away from him she finally got off of him, his load leaking from inside her as she pulled him closer, kissing his cheek, giving him her love.
"Sleep. When we wake up our life together will finally begin." Moka whispered in his ear, humming a song as he had his well-deserved rest while she planned for their future.
