Lily didn't like the place she woke up in. The big scary machines, the lack of light, and being alone. Her memory was hit or miss, but she remembered the Dirty Man. His long gray hair was greasy and unkempt, his cracked teeth and sunken eyes, his clothes were frayed and brown. She remembered the simile of his face before he reached out to her.

Lily carefully walked downstairs. Surprisingly, she was adept at not falling. The girl made it to the bottom when she saw them. Her parents burst into the room. Their faces were fearful.

"Lily!" they cried. Lily smiled and walked towards them. "Poop!" she said, relieved

"Where is she!?" Mom cried. Lily was confused; she was right in front of them, but they looked right at her before they darted their eyes all over the room.

"I'll check upstairs!", Dad ran upstairs.

"Da Da!" Lily smiled and reached, but he ran past her and went up the stairs. He kicked the door of a room.

"Mama", Lily asked her mother who looked behind the machines and into boxes.

Lily walked up to her and pulled on her pant legs to get attention.

"Moma. Home?" She asked receiving naught a glance. She began getting scared. Why can't they see her or hear? The small child wouldn't even know what the answer was

her dad returned and combed the room. Lily desperately tried to get their attention.

" She's not here Lynn!" Mom said in despair

" I know! Come on it's time to get people involved." The two ran leaving lily.

" MaMa! DaDa!" She cried attempting to follow. Her stumpy legs only so fast before she fell losing sight of her parents when she looked up they were gone leaving the entrance open. Eyes full of tears and fear she crawled as fast as she could but just as she made her way to the entrance she felt something blocking her from leaving.

"Let Lily go!" She said before trying again and again waterfalls falling from her eyes she began hitting the barrier screaming for help. Eventually she felt a sensation like shock as she was sent flying back into a wall. She looked and saw the entrance close by itself.

" Mama dada?" She said before letting out a cry of fear and sadness. A cry that could be heard from miles.

if you could hear her at all.
