Disclaimer: I do not own Bluey or The Black Cauldron, only how the story goes. Everything from Bluey belongs to Ludo Studios and The Black Cauldron belongs to Disney. The only thing that I do own are the OC's of the story. I apologize for any errors in grammar and/or if I was not accurate in reference to something.

A/N: I plan to include something like this in all of my Black Cauldron fanfics, but I plan to make them different and unique depending on the story.

Dear Lord and Heavenly Father,

I thank you for helping me to write this story,

And I thank you for all that you have blessed us with.

I really do appreciate all that you do for me and other writers,

Even if they don't see it.

I do pray that this story will inspire others to keep on writing,

Or to be inspired to start.

I do ask these things in your Holy name, Lord

Amen

Prologue: The Creation of the Cauldron

Within a dark and seemingly empty room, hardly a sound was heard and nothing could be seen. But soon the sounds of flames flickered to life as torches were lit. One by one, the torches ignited with a small flame before growing a little larger. The light showed that the room was one made of red stone. If one were to look about the seemingly empty room, they would see that the walls had white carvings on it. And if one were to listen closely, they could hear the story of the carvings being told.

Narrator: Legend has it, in the mystic land of Pyrdain, a place where the races of Men, Dog-men and many others dwelled…

One of the carvings showed of a man dressed in royal robes, a king, standing before many people. But the next carving showed of the man's wicked deeds. Deeds to horrible to describe. An image above the king's terrible and frightful power showed a group of people standing on both clouds and mountaintops, watching over the darkness down below growing.

Narrator: There was once a king so cruel and so evil

That even the gods feared him…

A little ways away from that carving showed of a gathering of different beings. Surrounding a bipedal dog wearing a robe, there was a man, a small creature with wings and a few others. In the carving next to it, it showed the bipedal dog with his hands held and showing an image of the evil king.

Narrator: After assembling together the different peoples of Pyrdain, a wizard from the Canis people proposed a way to stop the evils of the mad king…

Across the wall, showed the different tribes together and standing against the mad king. Together they defeated him, but ended up making him fall from a ledge. He was shown landing in some mystic looking substance and it formed around him. The mad king became demonic spirit like and was trapped in what appeared to be sinister cauldron.

Narrator: Since no prison could hold him, he was thrown alive into a crucible of molten iron

There his demonic spirit was captured in the form of a great Black Cauldron…

On another wall, it showed a map of the land of Pyrdain, but no indication of where the Black Cauldron was located. All around the map, armies of Men, Dog-men and others searching for the cauldron. But on the final wall, showed the reason of why they wanted it so badly.

Narrator: For uncounted centuries, the Black Cauldron lay hidden waiting

While evil men searched for it, knowing whoever possessed it

Could raise an army of deathless warriors…

The cauldron that housed the spirit of the wicked king, was mystical in nature. It showed what appeared to be an enchantment flowing from it and over countless dead warriors. The fallen rose again and could become a force to be reckoned with as they were shown to move across the realm of Pyrdain.

Narrator: And with them, rule the world…

And just as quickly as they brightened with fire, the torches suddenly went out. The room once again became dark to the eyes of their beholders. But the dark room only seemed to leave more questions than answers. Such as, will the cauldron ever be found? And, will it be by the forces of good or evil?

Author's Note: Yes, I added a few differences to the prologue, such as including a canine wizard that defeated the ancient king. This will be my first big Black Cauldron story I'm doing. I do have other ideas, but this is what I wish to start with. I look forward to reading your reviews. Be sure to leave a comment either about if I've done something wrong or if you want something specifically to happen. See you next time.
