A/N: Hey guys! I got such good reviews about Wolves and Vampires that I decided to do a second installment. Be sure to let me know if there is a specific pairing that you guys would like to see. Alright guys, I have gone through the pairings that I did last time while also compiling a list of possible pairings. The ones that I did last time have been taken off of the list, but once I get through the list I might add some of them. Hope you enjoy!

Pairing: Bella/Emily

Genre: Friendship

Summary: Takes place in the middle of Chapter 1 of the last installment of Wolves and Vampires (Bella/Paul). In this One-Shot, Bella goes to see Emily to talk to her about the marking.

Bella POV

I couldn't believe that Paul had imprinted on me! Then there was the fact that he waited months to tell me about it! Who did he think he was? Who am I kidding?... There's no way that I could stay mad at him. When I mentioned to Paul that I wanted to talk to Emily about the marking, he encouraged it.

When I pulled into Sam and Emily's driveway, it didn't take long before somebody walked out. "Hey Bella." Sam greeted me.

I smiled at him. "Hey Sam, Emily around?" I asked him.

He nodded. "She's in the kitchen. Go on in." Sam said as he walked down the porch steps.

I smiled my thanks to him. I made my way up the porch steps and into the now familiar cabin. Heading into the kitchen, I saw that Emily was already preparing for the pack dinner that night. "Hey Em." I said.

She looked over at me and smiled. "Hey Bells. What's up?" She asked me.

"Paul imprinted on me." I said. It wasn't a question, it was a matter of fact. Her smile quickly dropped. "You knew?" I asked. I started pacing in her kitchen. "Of course you knew, you're the Alpha's imprint. There's no way he wouldn't have told you." I rambled.

"Bells, please calm down." She said. When I stopped pacing I looked at her. "Yes, I knew. But not from Sam. Paul told me. Here come sit." Emily said, pointing to the kitchen table as she put a couple roasts in the oven. I walked over to the kitchen table and sat down while she poured us each a cup of coffee. Then she joined me at the table. "After you went home the day that Paul imprinted on you, he came to see me. He told me that he was confused. That he didn't understand why the spirits would pick you for him." She said and I frowned. "I explained to him that the spirits knew what they were doing and who were we to question them. A few weeks after that he came back to see me and told me that he knew that he'd have to tell you about the imprint, because the separation was getting too hard but that he hoped that you didn't hate him." She said.

I sighed. "I couldn't hate Paul even if I tried. I knew that something happened that day…I just didn't know what. The more time that passed, I realized that I wanted to see Paul. I just didn't want to seem needy, especially since to him I was the leech lover." I said, taking a drink of my coffee.

"It might have started out that way but by the end of that day, you were all that he could think about. It broke his heart that night, when he was just inside the tree line and he heard your nightmare. He was so scared that he was gonna lose you." Emily told me.

I nodded, weakly. "Tell me about the marking." I said.

"What do you want to know?" She asked.

"Paul mentioned it. Said that with me being a danger magnet, he wanted to mark me as soon as possible." I said.

She nodded. "Makes sense. Basically, it's his wolf's way of claiming you as his mate…officially. He'll bite you between your neck and your collarbone. Not only will the other wolves know that your Paul's mate but Vampires too. You'll smell like Paul." Em said.

"Will it hurt?" I asked her.

"Just for a minute. But there are side effects…it'll be sensitive to the touch, you and Paul will be able to feel each other's emotions, he'll know if something is wrong or your in danger…things like that." She said. I could tell that she was holding something back.

"What aren't you telling me?" I asked.

"It will increase certain…feelings during sex." She said.

"Oh." I said surprised. She nodded. "I guess that makes sense if it's the wolf's way of claiming me."

"Exactly." She said with a knowing smile.

We sat there in silence for about ten minutes. "Need any help with dinner?" I asked.

"Always."
