A/N: Alright, so this one-shot is a little different. It is actually an excerpt taken from another story that I have on the back burner. I had thought about doing the whole thing as a multi-chapter. Let me know what you think.

Bella POV

It had been almost two weeks since I'd talked to Jake. Billy had told Charlie that he had mono and that as soon as he felt better that he'd call me. I'd finally had enough, so I decided to head down to La Push. I was determined to either see Jake or talk to Billy about it. Hopping in my truck and driving the familiar roads to La Push, I force myself to think about the things that have happened in the last several months. Charlie thinks that Jake is the one that's been helping me to heal but it's really been someone else. The problem is, if it ever came out who's been healing me it's going to cause major problems. Hence another reason why I was heading to La Push.

When I pulled into the Black's driveway, the front door open before I even made it too it. "Hi beautiful." He said.

"Hi baby." I said, leaning down to give Billy a kiss. When I pulled back, I stood up and crossed my arms. "Wanna tell me the truth now?" I asked him.

He sighed and nodded. "Come on in. It's a long story and I'm not sure how you're going to react." Billy said.

He let me into the house and we made our way into the kitchen where I made us a pot of coffee. When it was finished, I fixed our cups and sat them on the table. I sat down across from Billy. "Now, what's going on? Jake doesn't really have mono, does he?" I asked.

Billy shook his head. "Do you remember the legends that I used to tell you and Jacob as kids?" He asked me. I nodded. "There true."

I stared at him wide eyed. "There true?" I asked and he nodded. "The wolves?" He nodded again. I sat there and started thinking. I remembered walking on the beach with Jacob shortly after I moved to Forks. Piecing together the fact that the Cullen's were vampires. Then I remembered the night that Edward broke up with me in the woods and Sam Uley found me. "Sam." I said, quietly.

Billy nodded. "Yes. He's the Alpha of the pack. It's him, Jared Cameron, Paul Lahote, Embry Call and Jacob. For now anyways." Billy said.

I slowly nodded, before I picked up my coffee mug and took a drink. "So now what?" I asked, sitting it back down.

He cocked his head to the side. "What do you mean?" He asked me.

I sat my mug back down and looked over at Billy. "I mean, you and I have been sleeping together for months. But now, Jake is a wolf what's to stop him from overhearing and freaking out…possibly telling Charlie." I said.

Billy wheeled himself over to my side of the table and held his hand out for me. I took his hand and he gently pulled me into his lap. He wrapped his arms around my waist while I wrapped my arms around his neck. He placed a featherlight kiss on my forehead. "Sweetheart, nothing is going to change between you and I. It will eventually come out that you and I are together, and whatever happens we'll face together. Yes, Jacob will be upset. He's had feelings for you for as long as I can remember, but he will get over it. As for Charlie…well, he's probably going to hit me." Billy said, and I couldn't help the laugh that came out.

Billy pulled me closer to him. "I've missed you so much." I said to him.

"I've missed you too. So much." Billy said before he pulled me into a deep passionate kiss.
