At Logan's gym in Animal Kingdom (where the young man hosted self-defense classes and trained his personal students), Logan was pacing back and forth in front of his five students, whom he had taken on ever since his victory at the Hero's Rumble Tournament. His first student was Jameson, the little black owl and Dream Walker who was also Poe's nephew due to Jameson being created by Magica. He was excited to help out his favorite uncle prepare for the wedding however he could.
The second student was Gray, an anthro barn owl in a Spider-Man hoodie who was also Gabriel's younger brother. Gray styled himself as a warrior-in-training (especially when it came to impressing his idol, Spider-Man), using his unique Fantasia ability "Instant Crash" to control kinetic and potential energy in objects and redirect it. Standing next to him was Roman Volk, an anthro wolf who was an expert in survival tactics, having even trained and befriended one of the Predator!
The fourth student was Ferroth, an anthro snake who made it his life goal to prove that not all snakes were evil. He had some success since befriending Logan, even redeeming the Live-Action version of Kaa. The final student was Ben, whom had recently won the Power of Three tournament and was taken under Gabriel's wing to learn the ways of being a Dream Keeper.
"I still can't believe my brother is taking you on as an apprentice," Gray said, ribbing Ben in the side.
"Yeah, well, it was a shock to me too," Ben chuckled, scratching the back of his head.
"I'm more surprised it took you until Halloween to finally confess your feelings to Nuka," Ferroth laughed, making Ben blush.
"Students!" Logan shouted, causing the five guys to all straighten up. "We have a very important task on our hands. Rachel and Poe are getting married on New Year's, and I've been tasked with finding the best music the Magical World has to offer for the event."
"Well, we have no shortage of options at least," Roman pointed out.
"That could be seen as a problem, though. All of those options make it hard to pick just one," Jameson said.
"Hm… You know, maybe we should hold auditions for this event," Gray suggested. "That's what we did back in High School whenever people wanted to have a solo act during the Spring Show."
"You were in Choir?" Roman said in surprise. "…Wait, your entire family has music powers, so being in Choir makes sense."
"I can also play Ukulele," Gray boasted.
"Good idea, Gray. We'll hold a contest and pick the best performers for the event!" Logan declared.
"We should probably also have a standard choir perform at the event for the ceremony," Ferroth added.
"Right. We'll get in contact with Rapunzel then, since I know Rachel enjoys spending time in her kingdom," Logan nodded.
And so Logan's team put out a posting for the best performers to come and audition to perform at Rachel and Poe's wedding, and the turnout was pretty big. The six guys had transformed the inside of the gym with a makeshift stage and a table for them to sit behind and judge the performers.
"Okay everyone, we'll have you perform one at a time," Logan said as the bands and musicians all piled in. "I've got you all on the list here, so let's start with… the Penguin Band!" The four penguins all waddled up onto the stage, pulling out their instruments. "Whenever your ready… begin!"
The lead singer, Franky, counted down before they all started playing together.
So I won't hesitate no more, no more
It cannot wait, I'm sure
There's no need to complicate
Our time is short
This is our fate, I'm yours…
Next up was the Camp Rock cast, with Mitchie Torres and Shane Grey singing together as the others played their instruments and danced.

"I was personally more into High School Musical," Gray whispered to Jameson.
But I can't stay mad at you for anything

O'Malley and the Alley Cats came up on stage next, with the street cat smiling as he sang.

Ferroth and Ben both swayed with the music, getting their approval as judges.
If I should call you up, invest a dime

The Electric Mayhem burst onto the stage next, playing their loud music that almost literally blew the judges away.

I can't get enough!
Animal screamed as he pounded in the drums, the drum set comically breaking apart, the bass drum rolling around and bouncing off the stage. "…Yeah, I think you might be good for the bachelor party, but not the wedding itself…" Logan said apologetically.
"We are Kitty Section!" Rose shouted as she and her friends from Paris all started playing together.
If I could find you now things would get better!
We could leave this town and run forever!
I know somewhere somehow we'll be together!

After the new-school rock was some old-school rock with Love Handël, performing their signature song "You Snuck Your Way Right Into my Heart."

"Ah, a classic," Roman said.
"Brings me back to watching the show in middle school," Gray nodded.
You tiptoed in

4*Town was next, the five-man band dancing as they sang together in harmony.

"So why is there five of them if they're called four town?" Logan wondered.
"Maybe four just sounds better than five?" Jameson shrugged.

After many more auditions, it all finally came to an end with a performance by the Three Caballeros.

After everyone had performed, Logan stepped up to the stage. "Okay everyone, thank you for auditioning today. You all were great, but we can only pick one to perform at the wedding. So, with all of the votes tallied up, the winner is… The Three Caballeros!"
Panchito let out a loud woop, jumping around in happiness as he fired off blanks from his pistols. "You here that, guys!? We're gonna perform at a wedding!"
"And a Dream Defender wedding at that. It'll be a big event for sure," Jose nodded.
"I just hope the fact that it's my Uncle Poe's wedding won't cause any weird feelings for you, Donald," Jameson said.
The duck shook his head. "No, Poe and I are on good terms. He looks after Lena like I look after my boys, so there's no bad blood between us."
"Well then, that settles that," Logan nodded. "I wonder how everyone else is doing with their tasks…"

First off, thank you to everyone that sent in a band to audition for the wedding. It was fun seeing which ones you guys came up with. The format of this chapter was inspired by the Sing movies and how they always have a montage of various songs towards the beginning of the movie.
