For eons uncounted the world of Apokolipse stood strong, vile and cruel, uncontested. For time untold Darkseid stood alone at the apex of Hell itself. Setting his eyes upon the shadow of the Bat, he would have the prize for himself and none would stop him. As for Superman the road not traveled is fading fast, it's now or never, no matter the strictures of command.

Shayera is looking for redemption. Bruce isn't looking for anything. Thanagarians want revenge. And the Gordanians want their promised prize.
