Weiss felt hungry, actually, starving would be more accurate, but most of all, she felt rather weak. Her body refused to listen to her commands, as she felt her arms slowly rise with some difficulty. Placing said arm on her forehead, Weiss, she forced her body into a sitting position. Judging by the small ache in her side, her aura must've been depleted, which was rather annoying. Ignoring the rumbling from her stomach, Weiss' eyes fluttered open.

After being temporarily blinded by the lights, she finally got a good view of the room she was in. It was rather barren aside from a few machines that she was hooked up to. That wasn't what stood out the most though.

Weiss was all alone.

"Ruby?" Weiss said softly, with only silence being her answer. Where was Ruby? Where was Yang? Hells, where was Jaune, Nora and Ren? This didn't look like Haven. Even the hospital gown she wore didn't look Mistralian, being closer to the patterns that were often used in Vale. Cultural fashion aside, someone should've been here waiting for her to wake up!

"How rude." Weiss huffed as she reached for her scroll-

Her ice blue eyes widened as her head darted side to side, scanning the room for her stuff. Her scroll was gone, Myrtenaster as well. Weiss' hands went to her dust crystal earrings, only to touch her earlobes. Those were gone as well!

Weiss balled her hands into a fist as her breathing started to quicken. Where were her friends? They should've been here by now.

Unless…

Did they lose? Weiss' fist relaxed as her breathing slowed. Did they lose at Haven? If they did, wouldn't Weiss be dead by now?

Mm, she didn't remember anything after feeling something stab her in her side. Her right hand unconsciously touched the area she remembered the pain coming from. Huh, was her aura out because it was focused on healing that wound?

Suddenly, the lone door at the opposite side of the room slid open, and a man covered in armor stepped in. Yup, definitely not Haven, and judging by that armor, this was most likely Atlas. Who else could create armor as advanced as that? Vale's strength was in their Navy, Mistral in their adaptability, and Vacuo had their climate.

Atlas' technology is supreme.

"And who might you be?" Weiss said in Atlesian, leaning up a bit more. This had better not be another kidnapping, especially since she couldn't use her glyphs.

The armored man paused, his exposed chin and beard revealed nothing. Hm, did he not speak Atlesian? Or was he just an idiot? It was probably a mixture of both.

"Is this better?" Weiss scoffed in Mistralian. That made the man's lips form a thin line. At least learning the languages of the Four Kingdoms paid off, one of the many perks of being forced to give up her childhood for Father's ambitions.

Sensing that the armored man was about to speak, Weiss rolled her eyes and offered him a glare.

"Not answering a simple question when asked is pretty rude." This time she spoke in Valish, the language she often used when talking to her friends. It wasn't as romantic as Mistralian or as familiar as Atlesian, or even unique like Vacuan, but it was the trade language of the Four Kingdom's for some reason.

"You speak English?" Now that finally got a response.

"Valish, but sure." Weiss felt her aura start to return, relaxing hee muscles. "Now, who might you be?"

If the man was confused, he didn't show it.

"Armsmaster, head of the Protectorate ENE." Armsmaster said as he kept walking, standing by the side of her bed. "And I should be asking the same question, Miss?"

Hm, was the Protectorate some kind of Huntsman guild? Or were they just another group of bandits wanting to random her off? Either way, Weiss wasn't about to tell them that they had a Schnee in captivity.

"Blake Xiao Long." Weiss lied as easily as she breathed.

Armsmaster frowned. "I would appreciate it if you told the truth, Miss Schnee."

Weiss tried her best to not look shocked.

"Your belongings were labeled with your name." Armsmaster continued speaking. "Now if I have your full cooperation, I would like to ask you a few questions." He awkwardly gave her hospital gown a look.

"After a change of clothes of course."

This was not good.

After being given some rather simple clothing that consisted of a beige shirt and matching pants, Weiss found herself sitting in a room, being escorted there by soldiers in helmets that completely hid their faces, and gear that was not as advanced as Armsmaster's armor.

Weiss felt naked with Myrtenaster, but at least her aura was back now. Her glyphs should provide enough protection until her beloved blade was back in her possession, as well as any summons she wished.

Armsmaster eventually entered from a door off to the side, a large scroll in his hands. Taking the seat that sat across from her, he placed the scroll on the table in between them.

"Thank you for cooperating with our PRT officers." Armsmaster started speaking as Weiss crossed her arms, leveling a glare. She couldn't exactly escape without knowing where she was, or where Myrtenaster and her dust were.

"Yeah yeah." This felt like she was under arrest.

"Now I have a few questions for you, and to make easier for the both of us, I would appreciate it if you answered them truthfully to the best of your knowledge." Armsmaster was definitely some type of law enforcement. Did the Mistral government not like the fact that Haven Academy became a battleground? Where were the others?

"Sure." Weiss answered dryly, her eyes casually drifting around the room. A mirror that showed her reflection composed the wall on the right, it was most likely a one way mirror, with Armsmaster's masters behind there.

A beowulf could easily help her escape, if she so wished.

"First off, please state your full name."

"Don't you already know that?" Weiss kept her hands out of his view. Didn't he know who she was? The Schnee name was known throughout Remnant, and Weiss herself had numerous number one albums across the kingdoms.

"Yes, please state it for the record." Armsmaster repeated himself. He was definitely some kind of Huntsman working with the police.

Sighing softly, Weiss kept her composure.

"Weiss Schnee."

This was going to take a while.

So like, I completely forgot I wrote this until I was poking around my FFN notifications. I definitely plan on adding this into my rotation alongside the Stag's Daughter.
