AN: Feeling bored and wanted to write. Every chapter is fueled with motivation to write and I rarely have sudden motivation so don't expect much chapters.

Tanya sat in her office drinking coffee.

Life was good ever since she won the bet with Being X and he let her go.

There was a knock on her door.

She prepared herself for combat.

"Come in."

The door opened and a worried mother came in.

"My son is missing in Pine Forest, please help me find him."

Tanya smiled at the woman and nodded.

"I'll get right to it."

Tanya left her office and went out of her gym with the woman.

Outside was the peaceful town called Prelion.

She called out her Braviary and got on it.

The two went up into the sky and flew towards Pine Forest.

Tanya sighed a little inside.

She had quite a friendly relation with the townspeople.

Being on their good side made everyday convenient for her.

The cost was that she had to help them with problems they needed help with.

Tanya knew the mother and wished they hadn't let their son run off into the forest.

"Braviary, go ask the other birds if they've seen a boy."

Braviary nodded and went towards a flock of Pidgeys.

They were common Pokémon that were everywhere.

The Pidgeys flew towards Tanya and chirped at her.

Needless to say, Tanya had quite the friendly relationship with the Pokémon around in the land.

All she had to do was help them or feed them and they willingly became friends with her.

Tanya was more than willing to take advantage of that.

Braviary whistled at the Pidgeys and they chirped back.

Tanya couldn't tell what they were talking about but could see that the Pidgeys knew where the boy was.

The Pidgeys flew and Braviary followed after them.

They soon came upon the boy who was asleep in the grass with a Weedle.

Tanya wanted to facepalm, the wild was no place to sleep and the Weedle could have poisoned him if it wasn't friendly.

She took out a bag of treats and handed it to the happy Pidgeys.

"Thank you for helping us find him."

The Pidgeys chirped happily and flew away.

Braviary landed by the boy and Tanya woke him up.

"Wake up, your mom is worried for you."

The boy opened his eyes sleepy.

He yawned and a tick mark formed on Tanya's forehead but she quickly hid it.

"Come on, I'll take you back."

The boy hugged the Weedle that was slowly waking up.

"Can I keep him?"

Tanya thought for a moment and shook her head.

"You'll have to ask your mom."

"Hmm, ok."

Tanya took him on the Braviary with the Weedle flew back towards the town.

She dropped the boy by the gym and he got scored by his mother.

"Thank you Tanya, I don't know what I would have done if you weren't here."

Tanya smiled shaking her head.

"It's no problem, call me anytime."

Tanya actually didn't want the mother to call her anytime but she wanted to keep a friendly relationship.

Tanya recalled Braviary and went back inside the gym to her office.

Sitting in her cozy chair, Tanya turned on the TV and watched it.

Being a gym leader was easy and she had plenty of free time.

As a gym leader, she received a nice monthly income.

Her job mainly consisted of giving out badges and keeping the peace.

However, she hadn't given out a single badge so far.

The reason was simple.

The trainers that came to fight her were weak.

Many of them choose to skip her gym after going on a losing streak with her.

The stubborn one stayed but not for long.

There was also the fact that without her badge, there Pokémon wouldn't obey them.

Some of them had already over leveled their Pokémon by beating the daylight out of the local Pidgey population.

Something she quickly heard about and stopped.

She couldn't have the Pokémon's around spreading reputation about her sending trainers to beat them up.

Even though their Pokémon were over level, their performance only got worst since they couldn't control them.

Even if they did, Tanya still had ways to curb stomp them.

The trainers were getting dissatisfied with Tanya and she didn't want that.

Some of them could become famous Pokémon trainer and make her life hard if they held a grudge.

Tanya sighed and drank her coffee.

She decided to lower the difficulty of her gym tomorrow.

There were many trainers and Tanya couldn't battle all of them in a day while healing quickly her Pokémon.

She had to set up resting days and fighting days.

Night came and Tanya went to bed.

Tucked under her pillow like always was a combat knife.

She slept peacefully.

The next morning came.

Outside the gym, multiple trainers were fighting each other.

Tanya had a rule where she would only fight three trainers a day.

If they wanted to fight her, they had to first win the spot to fight her.

Fire, water, air, physic beams, and all sorts of attack were thrown around.

Tanya came outside and watched the scene drinking her coffee.

Looking at the trainers fight made her feel slightly annoyed.

Dodge that attack, your opponent literally called out that attack!

Why would you clash against that attack when you don't have any moves to overcome it!

Do you not have a brain, use quick attack!

Your opponent literally showed an opening!

Tanya kept getting more ticked off as she watched the fights.

She sighed and went back inside her gym.

Her gym was a wide court with open sky like a stadium.

She sat in a chair drinking coffee and waited.

After a while, three challengers appeared.

Joe, Mia, and Larry.

They seemed nervous and unconfident.

Something Tanya didn't like but understood since she had defeated them at least ten times already.

Some of their Pokémon probably had ptsd and refused to obey.

Joe stepped up first.

"I challenge you, gym leader Tanya."

Tanya touched her chin and looked him dully in the eyes.

He became unnerved by her gaze.

"New rule, you have to use two Pokémon's to beat one of my Pokémon, if you succeed, I'll give you a badge."

Joe became outraged.

"What! You're lowering the difficulty!?"

Tanya seemed to snarl.

"I keep getting calls from headquarters so I think it's about time I pass one of you, whether or not you deserve it."

The three clenched and gritted their teeth.

Tenya called out Braviary.

"I'll let you choose first for your advantage like always."

Joe gritted her teeth.

He felt mad at Tanya, but mostly at himself.

He questioned whether he could really cut it as a Pokémon trainer.

"We'll see who wins today!"

Tanya gazed coldly at him and his confidence plummeted.

"Geodude! Aron! Come out!"

Mia held her hand up.

"Begin!"

"Geodude, Rock Throw, Aron, Rock Slide!"

Geodude threw a giant rock.

Aron shoved multiple rocks towards Braviary.

"Dodge Braviary."

Both attack missed.

Tanya did not attack.

"Braviary, Tailwind!"

Wind rushed around Braviary and it became faster.

Joe knew it was the same all over again.

Braviary would keep getting faster and faster.

It would keep becoming more difficult to land an attack.

"Geodude, Rock Throw!"

"Aron, Rock Tomb!"

Both attacks missed again.

"Braviary, Hone Claws."

Braviary talons became sharper.

Joe kept ordering his Pokémon to attack and they kept missing.

Both he and his Pokémon were getting frustrated while Braviary kept getting faster.

He felt it would be better to fight with just one Pokémon since it would be easier instead of order two at the same time.

Tanya got tired of watching a clown.

"Enough playing, Wing Attack!"

"Harden Aron!"

"Switch target Braviary!"

"What!"

Joe lost composure and Geodude was slammed to the ground.

It was a critical hit and Geodude fainted.

Tanya still couldn't fully understand how Hone Claw made Braviary Wing Attack stronger.

Seeing it's buddy fainting, Aron lost composure.

"Wing Attack Braviary!"

Braviary turned her head and glared at Aron.

Aron became jelly and Braviary slammed into Aron.

Both of Joe's Pokémon became fainted.

Joe fell to his knees.

He tried to think but he couldn't.

Was it his fault, or was his Pokémon garbage?

Tanya touched her forehead.

Joe may have won if Braviary was still Rufflet but fighting too many trainers had evolved Rufflet.

A mistake on her part as Braviary was most likely at least a level 55 by now against Joe's close to level 30 Pokémon's.

Maybe she shouldn't have drilled a soldiers attitude into Braviary.

Mia stepped up next but lost.

Larry stepped up next but lost.

The day ended and Tanya went back into her office.

A visitor came to visit.

She looked to be a classy professional woman.

Tanya knew she was from headquarters and sat her down.

"What can I do for you Miss July."

July calmly explained the situation.

"You're Pokémon are over leveled so we require you to move to a higher level gym or train lower level Pokémon."

Tanya touched her chin thoughtfully.

"Where would I be moved for a higher level gym."

"You'll be moved to the east coast in Envion City."

Tanya glance at Miss July.

City gym leaders were usually high ranking since they were trusted to protect a city.

She could stay in Prelion Town or move to Envion City.

"Tell me, do they have good coffee there?"

Miss July didn't know the answer and shook her head.

"I'm sorry but I don't know."

Tanya nodded and checked her watch.

"Will my pay increase if I move?"

Miss July nodded.

"Yes, it will be increased to 1 million Pokedollars per month."

Tanya calculated that into dollars and determined that was around seven thousand dollars per month.

It wasn't bad and at least double her wage.

"I'll take it."

Miss July nodded and took out the paper works.

Tanya proceeded to fill it out.

The next day, Tanya was flying towards Envion City.

Air traffic law wasn't very strict and Tanya liked that quite a lot.

With Braviary speed, she arrived at Envion City in a day.

Going to the gym, she saw it was a giant open stadium.

People do quite love stadiums.

Tanya went to a shop and printed out a poster.

The city was filled posters since everyone seemed to like posting them.

She made a few rules for her gym on the poster.

Only three challengers were allowed per day.

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday were the only days challengers could come and fight her.

littering was not allowed.

Along with a few other minor rules.

Feeling the heat of the sun, Tanya decided to go to the beach.

It should be relaxing for her after a long day of travel.

She didn't want to relax in a crowded beach so she would have to find a secluded one.

Getting on Braviary, Tanya flew to a secluded beach by the forest and brought out her Pokémon's.

They relaxed and played and Tanya laid in the sun.

It was nice, very nice, Tanya thought she could get use to such life.

A while passed and two people washed up ashore.

Tanya went towards them and saw they were part of Team Rocket.

"Get me some vines in the forest Braviary."

Braviary flew into the forest and got some vines.

Tanya proceeded to tie the two Rockets up along with their Meowth.

She could go drop them off in the city to the officers but decided not to.

She was feeling lazy and could do it later.

Taking their poke balls, she laid back in the sun relaxing.
