Hello everyone, I wanted to try and get into storytelling so don't expect me to be good at it for the first few chapters.

Also go and support Jackboy0815 and the community that is Percentverse as the story takes place in this universe.

Sitting in my bed as usual, I was just scrolling through the Internet and playing games on my phone, not really thinking much. My mother was away on a business trip, my sister was at summer camp, and my father passing away last year, ment i was home alone

I decided to check the the time. 4:30pm. I decided to open discord and chat with a few of my friends that were on right now.

But after a while of chatting about the most random stuff, I got a slight headache. Not thinking much, I ignored it, but then it got worse.

Thinking drinking some water might help, I got out of bed with my hand clutching my head. However, after opening the door to my room, the pain became too much and I collapsed to the floor in the doorway.

After I don't even know how long I have woken up in the same doorway I passed out in.

After looking around a bit, I realized that a lot of time must have passed because everything was under the veil of night. I tried getting up with the help of my hands, but when I tried, something felt wrong.

Deciding to check my hands i put them before my eyes. But instead of my normal arms with a palm and five fingers was a wing with dark colour going from its tip to somewhere middle of it with it then being replaced by redish orange.

It was something which took me completely off guard. I tried to move my hands again to be absolutely sure there wasn't something wrong. But when the wings in front of me moved the way I expected my hands to move, it confirmed to my mind that the wings were indeed my hands.

I decided to check my full body since something told me that more things were changed then my hands. And sure enough, after not even a minute of looking i found out that my feet were now resembeling more that of a bird then a human. As well a black tail with three yellow V markings.

After looking at myself i realized that i was now somehow a bird, but no avarege bird. A talonflame to be more precise. Wich was a bird that only existed in the world of Pokemon.

Not having too much time to recover, I heard buzzing from my phone on the bed. After finally standing up from my lying position, I was now faced with another problem: how do I get back onto my bed?

After a while I decided to try to use my wings to get off the ground and onto the bed. With this plan in mind, I spread my wings, which now just occurred to me how large the wingspan of Talonflame is.

Slowly moving the wings so as to not accidentaly get ahead of myself. I finally tried to take of. Wich only took a few synchronised flaps before being off the ground.

As I got onto the bed, I couldn't shake the feeling that this had gone way too smoothly for a first time; almost as if flying was as natural for me as breathing and blinking. But this wasn't the time to think about it, as my phone sat before me with another buzz.

Using my now claws on my feet i was able to start my phone at least with a warning on my screen:

"Citizens of the Czech Republic, we are currently aware of the current situation involving the mass transformation of your relatives and friends. We highly recommend keeping a safe distance from those who have been transformed. At this time, we do not know whether it is contagious.

This is all. We hope for everyone to be safe and let the truth prevail."

After reading the allert, I didnt even bother cheking the time, before I tried to acces my phone. Unfortunately the claws or my wings didnt seem able to be recognised by my phone, as such it just ignored my attempts of unlocking it.

After several unsuccessful attempts, I gave up and just stood there for a few seconds. However, after a while, I remembered that my mom and sister were out of town, which worried me.

But I guess fortunately my drowsiness began to take over as my eyes began to close and my posture mimicked that of a bird falling asleep.

Hopefully you enjoyed the first chapter. Right now I can't really do big chapters, but in the future that might just change. Also i have no idea when the next chapter is gonna come out so stay tunned in the future.
