Hello, everyone! First, I would like to take this moment to apologize for the lack of updates on this story for the past four years. Life has been quite a journey since my junior year of college when I last updated this story. Since then, I have graduated from college, had a few jobs, and then, at some point, lost my passion for writing. Don't get me wrong, I've been working on ideas of where this story can go, but writing it chapter by chapter is something that I not only have had little time for but also little interest in. I have been working up the courage to get back into writing for some time, but each time I have tried, I have always found myself unable to focus on anything other than my job. Now, I am doing what I can to try my hand at writing again, not because I see it as a job I have to finish but because I want to give it another shot.
As such, I will be rewriting this story, as I have found the direction it was going in to be completely lacking in some areas. Nevertheless, it will still have the same narrative as it did and will take place in season 7 of Arrow. However, some changes will be in the rewrite that will drive the characters' struggles further. For example, the course of William's journey, from his father going to prison to becoming a vigilante after running away from boarding school, and then finally ending with his disappearance in Star City, will not occur within 15 months, but rather almost two years, from 2018-2020. That is all I can tell you for now, so if you'd like to learn more about his journey, keep your eyes on the next update in this story.
When the first chapter of the new story is published, I will let you know about this story before I will delete this version forever.
