Jaime punched her punching bag in her room. She punched in so hard it hit the wall behind it knocking paint off. She turned as Anton appeared. "Sorry i never destroyed the rangers like you wanted i'll do better next time"
"I know you will" He stepped behind her and touched her shoulders. "Jaime you make me proud everyday with how strong your becoming"
She stayed silent as he left the room. She looked down at her gem vowing next time she saw the rangers they would be destroyed. Jaime grabbed her bag and headed for school. Her eyes narrowed as she saw next to his jeep.
He moved to block her path. "Jaime"
"Please move. I really don't want to have to hurt you"
"Then don't" He tried.
"I have no choice so if you kow what's good for you then you will leave me alone". She told him pushing past him running into the school.
Tommy looked as Conner stood next to him. "What was that about Dr.O?"
"I knew it. Mercer is forcing her to fight us" Tommy told him. "Look go to class meet me back here after school we are getting her out of here"
Dino Lab...
In the dino lab William Mitchell along with his son and daughter were pacing. The older Mitchell stared at a picture he carried in his wallet of his three kids together after Jaime was born.
"You know i never thought the day would come where i would see her again". He spoke looking up at the monitor at the image of her from the day before when she fought Ryan.
"Will what happened that night?" Hayley asked quietly.
He sighed. "I was on my way to pick her up from her Grandmother's. She spent more time there than at home. Anyway Kate called me to tell me she was gone so i rushed as quick as i could. Jaime had knocked over a vase and broke it by accident so Kate yelled at her. She didn't mean to yell but Jaime ran from the house. I thought at the time it was Diabolico again and that he had taken her to punish me for looking for my son"
Ryan stood up and touched his Father's shoulder. "When i remembered my past and came back He asked me if Diabolico had taken a young girl but he didn't. I only remember Jaime from when i was a kid but i vowed to try and bring her home when i joined my family as a ranger"
"Ryan she looks like you" Dana spoke softly causing Ryan to smile sadly. "Dad how did Tommy know it was her?"
He turned to his daughter. "When Tommy and the other red rangers came back from the moon I met Carter and Tommy in Mariner Bay. I knew Tommy was one of those people that would help any ranger out so i reached out to him to keep an eye out just in case. I never thought he would find her"
"Trust me they will get her out of there" Hayley assured them.
School.
The final bell rang signaling the end of the day. Jaime packed her books into her locker. She turned to see Conner the red ranger walk into the gym all alone.
Conner put his bag down on the bleacher and grabbed a soccer ball praying this plan would work. He gave Kira and Ethan a slight nod as they stood by the doors from the outside.
"You shouldn't come in here alone" He turned to her voice. "Hey Conner"
"Hey Jaime, what are you doing here?"
"Well i was going to try out for volleyball. Conner i think you should go please if he sees me he will make me hurt you".
"Who will make you hurt me?" Conner pushed.
"Mesogog".
"Jaime" He came closer. "Jaime let me and my friends help you."
She backed up. "No one can help me. Anton wants me to destroy you all".
Conner tilted his head as he could sense Tommy near. "Jaime is Anton working for Mesogog?"
Jaime looked at him and nodded. "I don't want to hurt anyone Conner, its not who i am or who i want to be" She spun and kicked him in the stomach. "But i have no choice" She stood over him.
Conner raised his left foot and kicked her back causing her to stumble. Jaime raised her arm to charge but two arms appeared grabbing her. Tommy came out of his invisibility and grabbed her arm pinning it behind her used his free hand and covered her mouth.
"Conner now!" He yelled trying to hold the struggling girl. Conner grabbed the dart from his pocket and stuck it into her neck.
Jaime fought against the arms holding her. She felt her body become warm as her legs got heavy. "Easy i got you" Tommy whispered as her eyes started to close. "Your family is waiting for you" Jaime fell into Tommy's arms as sleep took her.
"The coast is clear lets go" Ethan called. Tommy picked her up and carried her to his jeep. He laid her in Conner's lap in the back seat and drove home.
Dino Lab...
"Guys!" Ethan called as they walked in through the secret entrance. Eveyone stood up as Tommy carried the sleeping girl in his arms.
"Here Tommy lay her down". Hayley told him.
William Mitchell covered his mouth as every emotion hit his body. His daughter who had been gone for 12 years was now laying in front of him. "Jaime" He whispered brushing her bangs from her eyes. He wrapped his arms around Dana as she stood next to him. "Its really her".
"Hayley when will she wake up?" Kira asked.
"Couple of hours but she won't feel any effects after". Hayley replied laying a blanket over her.
"How do we do this?" Dana sobbed out. "After all this time how do we convince her we're her family? What lies did he feed her!?"
"You got through to me" Ryan spoke wrapping an arm around his sister. "And we will get through to her"
Tommy came over. "You three" Pointing to Conner, Kira and Ethan. "I believe have homework to do. Lets give the Mitchells some alone time alright." Tommy led them upstairs He glanced back to see them sit vigil at Jaime's side. He gave William a nod.
For the next hour the Mitchells sat paitently. Ryan walked outside to get some fresh air.
Jaime groaned as lights hit her eyes. She could hear voices as her eyes popped open. "W-Where am i?"
"Jaime" She heard a man's voice. She looked to see an older man and a girl with blonde hair.
"W-who are you? where am i?" She was getting anxious as she sat up.
"Its okay your safe" The blonde spoke softly. "Jaime its me"
"How do you know my name?"
Dana wiped her tears. "Jaime its me, its Dana" Dana told her sister in hopes she would remember.
William took her hand into his. "Jaime, its Daddy. Please sweetheart remember us"
Jaime yanked her hand away and scooted so she was touching the wall behind her. "No no no, my family is gone"
Will felt his heart shatter into a million pieces, his 17 year old daughter looked so scared. "No honey their not, we are right here" He pointed to the locket around her neck. "I gave that to you when you turned 5, i have the same picture in my wallet." He showed it to her.
Jaime took off the locket and looked at both pictures. "If your really my Dad what did he call me?"
"Nugget"
Jaime bit her lips as they shook. "Daddy" She whispered as she reached out to touch his face. "Its really you?"
"Yes baby its really me" He pulled his sobbing girl into his arms and rocked her like she was a child. "Oh Jaime i never stopped looking for you. Eveyday i prayed i would find you again"
Jaime clung to her Dad like her life depended on it. "He told me you were dead and that i had no family left"
Dana swore to herself. "Jaime".
Jaime looked at her as she pulled away from her Dad. Jaime pulled both of them into her small arms.
"There is one more person you need to see" Dana whispered as the three pulled apart. "Jaime you won't remember him but we have a big brother"
Jaime watched as Dana walked outside and walked in with a man that was alot taller than her. "Jaime this is Ryan". Dana told her as she led him to the edge of the bed.
"Hey little sister" Ryan whipsered.
"Hi" Her voice soft but unsure of him. " ?" She spoke as he appeared in the lab.
"Hey" He greeted. "How are you feeling?"
"I don't know" She replied. "Look i can't stay stay here"
"What are you talking about?" Her Dad spoke sternly. "You can't go back there".
"I have to" She got off the bed. "If he finds out what's going on he will hurt all of you and i won't let that happen"
William felt a sense of dejavu when his daughter took off the morpher letting it fall to the floor. "How can you love someone like me when none of you know me?" She spoke to them as they watched her leave the dino lab.
Ryan picked up the morpher and ran to try to catch her. "Jaime wait!" She turned to face him. "Look i've been where you are okay. I know how confused and scared you are but please stay"
"I'm sorry" she told him. She looked down as he placed the morpher in her pocket.
"Jaime when you find your way use it. I know deep down your heart will help guide your way back to us and when it does we will be here waiting for you".
Jaime nodded and walked away from her brother. Jaime walked down the street to her house. "Anton? I'm home"
"Where have you been? were you with them?" He seethed. "You were with them i can sense it".
"You lied to me". She mumbled loooking at the floor.
"Excuse me?"
"You lied to me!" Her voice louder."For 12 years you told me my family was dead only for me to find out that they are alive"
Anton circled her. "They are the ones lying to you. I was the one who gave you a home. I was the one who found you in the rain that night. I trained you all of these years". He went behind his desk and pressed a button.
Jaime yelled as a cage appeared around her. "Anton what are you doing?!"
"Keeping you safe. You will not get out until you agree to destroy them like you promised"
Dino Lab...
"I have a bad feeling about this" Ethan spoke as Ryan came back to the lab.
"Me to., Hayley do you know where Mercer lives?" Conner as her as he approached her. Hayley typed. "He live all the way out there?"
"Yeah he is pretty secluded" Hayley answered.
"I'm going" Ryan announched. "I am getting her away from him. I never got the chance to help her then but i can now. I know she will see the truth"
"I'm proud of you son" His Father told him patting his shoulder. "But don't go alone"
"I'll go" Kira offered.
"Okay we will be backup with you guys but we will keep our distance" Tommy told his team. "Go but be careful".
Anton's Home...
Ryan and Kira crouched down outside the house. The house was surrounded by tyrannodrones.
"Leave these to me" Kira told him with a smirk as they jumped in front of them. "Ryan go but cover your ears". Kira sucked in a breath and let out a ptera scream to knock them down. "Ryan go!"
Ryan nodded as Kira engaged in battle. Kira grabbed two drones arms and body slammed them into each other. She kicked her right leg knocking the one down that came after her. One was about to grab her arm but Tommy stopped him. "Thanks Dr.O"
"No problem" He told her. The two continued to fight as Ryan went in alone.
Ryan hid behind a wall as he watched Mercer guard the cage that his sister was sitting in. He could see the dino gem bracelet on the desk.
Jaime hugged her knees to her chest. She jumped as something hit her head. She looked to her right and smiled. "Ryan?" She mouthed. He held his finger to his lips.
"Hm we have company" Mercer hissed as Ryan was thrown to the floor. "Seize him"
Ryan growled as two drones forced him to his knees and held his arms.
"Let him go!" Jaime pleaded. She locked eyes with him. "Please" Mercer didn't see her wink at Ryan. "I'll do it, i destroy them"
The cage door opened and she stepped out. She grabbed Ryan by the throat as flames appeared in her hands. "No hurts my family". She yelled raising her arms. Ryan shut his eyes as his baby sister punched the drones holding him. "Ryan go!" She yelled.
"Not without you!" He yelled noticing one of her fireballs was dodged by Mercer causing the houe to erupt. "Jaime!" He cried as two arms grabbed his shirt dragging him outside.
Tommy and Kira pulled Ryan out of the burning house. They fell into the grass as the house exploded. "Jaime!"
"No she can't be gone!" Kira cried.
"Wait do you hear that?" Tommy asked hearing a cough. "Look" He told them pointing to Jaime who was crawling towards them.
Ryan jumped to his feet and ran over to her. He knelt down and wrapped one of her arms around his neck and the other around her waist.
"You came?" She rasped out. "Why?' She question as Tommy wrapped her in his jacket.
"Because your my family. Jaime just because you don't know me doesn't change that your still my little sister. Please come back to us"
Jaime looked from Ryan to Tommy and Kira who nodded at her with a smile. She took the dino bracelet out of her pocket since she grabbed it back. "You mean it?"
"We do. Jaime your Father needs you. Ryan and Dana need you. Look i can't imagine what your going through but we are all here for you and will do whatever we can to help you get through this" Tommy told her touching her shoulder.
"Take me home" She spoke quietly. "Mercer is gone now"
Ryan hugged his sister close as he walked to Tommy's jeep. Tommy and Kira walked behind them.
Dino Lab...
Jaime fell asleep on her way back so she was in Tommy's spare room. Dana and Ryan laying next to her on each side. William smiled as Ryan and Dana each had an arm around her.
"I never thought this day would come when i would have my three kids together" He spoke from the doorway. "Tommy thank you"
"It was my pleasure. Hayley examined her gem and its normal. I have never seen a dino gem like it though where she can use fire but its not tainted." Tommy assured him. "Hayley told us that if she stays here that Jaime can stay in the apartment above the Cyberspace."
The older Mitchell smiled as they just stood there watching them sleep. Little did they know her transition would be harder then they would ever imagine.
Note: It may seem smooth now for Jaime but she will struggle with her trransition.
