The Carousel Murders
Chapter Ten
Gibbs, Sloane, McGee, and Special Agent Knight had been listening to Director Leon Vance back at the local NCIS office in Coney Island. Gibbs had been curious as to why they had been asked to head for Rye, New York.
Vance asked everyone to be careful with this latest killing. "We don't have any additional information to the latest body found. However, there was an eyewitness an undercover officer working for Naval Intelligence. Doctor Sloane, we need you and Doctor Palmer having been advised to work with you on the autopsy." Vance noted with his tone of voice.
Gibbs perked up as with the other two. "Whose is this eyewitness, Leon?" he asked while sipping his coffee and turkey sandwich inside the lunch room.
"Naval Intelligence Suzanne Michaels. She had been asked to go undercover with a file of those working for the organization selling drugs and guns for the Black Market. Suzanne is currently in the Greenwich, Ct. hospital after the security officers found her body and the Naval officer she was following shot six times. She has so far survived her injuries even though she is still in a coma." Vance tells the group.
"What are we supposed to be doing Director?" Special Agent Jessica Knight will ask the importance of the question.
Coughing slightly over the viewscreen.
"I want Special Agent Knight to sit with the woman as a Candy Stripper to help protect the woman. We have no idea whether the organization will find out that she is still alive."
Gibbs and McGee will groan even though he's been on his laptop searching for any information on the group.
"I will see what I can do Director Vance," she tells him.
"Just be sure to protect the woman until we find out what exactly is going on Special Agent Knight," he says calmly.
"And what about myself and Doctor Palmer?" Dr. Jack Sloane will say with an attitude in her tone.
Director Leon Vance wasn't happy with her tone of voice at the moment. "Just to be sure to do your job and with Doctor Palmer. I was able to read your autopsy report. But it's sad to read that Communications Officer Morrison was dying from bone marrow cancer."
"Very true, Leon. I just hope to job that the eyewitness will be able to tell us the truth and who this killer might be?" she tells him while taking another sip of her coffee.
Leon asked Gibbs and the team to finish up to leave for Rye, New York. "We need answers as soon as possible," he remarked with a sullen voice.
Special Agent Jessica Knight waited for the group to finish up so that she could stay with Suzanne Michaels currently recovering from her injuries. She just hopes to god that she can wake up from her coma.
Ending the communications. Director Leon Vance continued with his work inside his office.

GREENWICH, HOSPITAL
Special Agent Knight had been sitting in Michaels's security area for where she would be staying. Two security officers had been posted with orders from the local offices of NCIS and Naval Intelligence.
Jessica was finishing up her meal and coffee having been brought in from the hospital staff. While Gibbs and McGee were at the Rye, Playland Park checking for any additional evidence on the latest serial killing of the Naval officer.
She had been watching Suzanne breathe with the oxygen mask over her face. Then all of a sudden she heard a noise. Jessica had gotten up to call the nurses station telling them that the patient was waking up.
She ran over to the woman as she tried to open her eyes through the mask.
"Try and take it easy Suzanne. You're going to be fine having been moved to Greenwich, hospital after being shot."
Suzanne needed to say the following to the NCIS woman waiting as Doctor Sanchez came in with two nurses.
"I am Doctor Sanchez, we are here to take care of you. Do you happen to remember who did this to you?" he asked calmly with Jessica taking out her notepad to write them down for NCIS and most of all Naval Intelligence.
