Christmas!:

(Okay, it's Christmas Time! Ok, since the Bad Guys all got different outfits for the special, that means Zeke will get one too. Also, I wanted to do my own swing on Christmas, too, so that'll be this chapter. Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy the chapter! Humbug is owned by Owl City, I do not own any of the material used for these stories, save for my OC)

('Tis certainly one week before Christmas)

Zeke put on a red and white striped long-sleeved shirt—primarily black. This is what he wore last year for Christmas, and he liked wearing it for Christmas because of the green & red lights on it. Wolf put on some earmuffs and a purple scarf. The two walked out from two doors. "Let's do this!" They both said.

Zeke poured out some hot cocoa, while Wolf was feeding coffee. It was their first Christmas with Diane, so they had to go all out buying Christmas presents for her. Wolf and he went shopping at the mall. "Okay, so what'd you have in mind to get for Mom, kiddo?" Wolf asked, deciding to use this to do a little Christmas shopping for the rest of the gang. "I'm not sure yet, Diane noticed that Wolf and her son were dressed to go somewhere. "Where are you two going?" She asked, as Wolf grabbed his keys. "Oh, we're going Christmas shopping for everyone, Mom." Zeke explained, "Me and Dad wanted to get these done ahead of time." Zeke said, "Oh! Okay, well, will you bring me back a snow-cone?" Diane then said. Wolf picked up the kitten and patted him, Shermy cuddling close to him. "Yeah, sure. We'll bring back something chill." Wolf said, "Did you want anything, kitty?" The kitten just meowed happily. "Okay, we'll be back." Wolf said, saluting Diane. "Bye, boys." Diane said, as the two walked out the door.

(Later)

Zeke was practically running at the speed of light, from store to store, Wolf was having a hard time keeping up with him.

"K-Kiddo, slow down!" Wolf said, "Dad, we only have one week before Christmas, and Mom's the only one we haven't gotten a gift for. It needs to be special, says that she's special, and I NEED TO GO TO THE BATHROOM, I'LL BE RIGHT BACK!" Zeke then said, running toward the food court's restroom, "Wha—Zeke!" Wolf then shouted, trying to keep his son under control.

Wolf walked around, deciding to head to the restroom himself.

(MMMMMONTAGE!)

Woe…is me~

Woe…is me~

After that, Wolf and Zeke went from store to store, trying to find a good gift for Diane. They checked for some clothes that she would like. Wolf found a funny snowman one, but Zeke looked too distracted. "Yeah, you're right. She'd only be able to wear this for one season." Zeke wasn't paying attention, "Zekey?" Wolf tried to get his son's attention. "Huh? Oh, sorry, Dad, were you showing me something?" He asked.

Would she kinda like this canary yellow?

Or does she already own way too many scarves?

I could get her a backpack, it's somethin' to carry

But this is way too much pressure, it's breaking my heart

Zeke then went to the art supplies aisle, wondering if he should just make something. He could make it in like a week, right?

Wolf pulled some fabric paint, to see if this would spark any ideas. Zeke's ears drooped, and just walked off. "Let's check for the picture frames." the rabbit then said.

Woe is me~

Woe is me~

They ran into Marshall and his uncle, thinking a board game could be a good gift. They talked for a little bit, "…Yeah, my uncle's back in town for the holidays. So, we decided to go on a bit of a shopping adventure." Marshall then explained. "That's cool, at least." Zeke said, still looking at the board games, "So, is he cataloguing what you want for Christmas or are you both looking for something for your aunt?" Zeke said. Marshall suggested the former. Wolf showed concern for how Zeke was desperately looking for a Christmas present.

I'm ready to wrap that perfect Christmas gift

But I haven't found it yet

Cause I don't have a clue what to get you

So I'll give you my heart

I wander around the store again and again

But all I do is shrug

Cause I don't have a clue what to get you

And I'm ready to say, "Bah Humbug!"

Bah-bah-bah-bah-bah, bah humbug!

Bah-bah-bah-bah-bah...

Once that settled, Zeke wanted to go look at the jewelry store. "Hi, welcome in!" The shopkeeper then said, "Okay, let's see…" Wolf and Zeke looked around for whatever they could. "Should we get a necklace or a charm for a bracelet?" Zeke asked, Wolf then tried to give input before he was cut off, "Actually, I feel like that works. Let's try looking for a necklace." Zeke self-assured himself. "Zekey, why don't we take a bit of a break? You're getting a little anxious about this." Zeke looked at his dad. "Dad, I told you we only have a week to get Mom a good Christmas present, so we need to hurry." Wolf was starting to worry. "Son, you're normally good with gifts, why's this making you so anxious?" Wolf asked.

Zeke's ears drooped as looked sad, "Well…It's just that…This is my first Christmas with Mom, so I wanted to get her a gift that says she's really special and I love her." Zeke then explained, Wolf gave a fond smile, "Buddy, Mom's gonna love anything you give her. You could make something outta arts and crafts and she'd still love it." Wolf then said to him. Zeke took a deep breath, feeling like a weight being pulled off of him. "Thanks, Dad. Thanks, Abba." Zeke then said, "Abba…Oh yeah, I remember." Wolf then said, slightly forgetting that Zeke called God "Abba."

(One Week Later)

Zeke was getting into the Christmas spirit, as prepped the presents for his parents. "All right, Dad, this one's yours." Zeke handed Wolf his Christmas present.

Wolf opened up his present, as he went through it. It was a camera Wolf had his eyes on when he went shopping with Diane and Zeke. "Oh buddy! This is so cool!" Wolf said, laughing slightly. "Thanks, kiddo." He said, happily, "Mom and I picked it out for you. So, thank her, too." Zeke then said.

"Feel free to take some selfies with it." Diane then said, Wolf just chuckled. "Yeah, thanks, Diane." Zeke went and got their present for Diane, "Here you go, Mom! Come on, open, open!" Zeke then said.

"Ooh, I like the wrapping. So, hmm…I wonder what it is." Zeke was getting more restless, "Uh, Diane, you might wanna dial it back a bit. Zeke looks like he's going to faint." Webs then said.

Diane looked at her son, and saw that he was so caught in suspense. "Sorry, honey. Let's see…" Diane then opened as she made it through the wrapping and revealed.

It was a necklace, and the charm was a cute little orange gem. "Oh, sweetie! This is pretty!" Diane said, really liking the gift.

"Dad helped me pick it out. Do…you like it?" Zeke asked. "I love it! Thanks, sweetie." Diane said, smiling. She kissed Zeke's forehead, "And thanks to you, as well, Wolf." She said, giving a sly look.

Wolf started to blush slightly, "U-Uh, well…You know? Me and my Zekey wanted to go all out for ya, Madam Governor." He said, slightly nervously.

Zeke noticed his dad's nervousness, "Weird, he had nothing smooth to say." Zeke then said, "Wanna bet that he's gonna start simping?" Webs then said, the two of them giggling. "They STILL haven't asked each other out." Shark then said, "Is Wolf too scared? WOLF?" Piranha then asked. "As if." Snake simply said.

(Later)

"Okay, so, I'll go ahead and say Grace." Diane said. The Bad Guys all together "We thank You, Jesus. We're celebrating this Christmas in Your Name and Day of Birth. I pray that we're always in Your Grace. In Your Name we pray, Amen." Diane then finished the prayer, as they continue to talk. "So, who wants to tell Diane about our last Christmas?" Tarantula asked.

"Ooh, last Christmas? Bet it was…bad?" Diane asked, wondering if this was a heist gone wrong or something. "Y-Yeah…but ironically, we did it for good, too." Wolf explained.

"They wanted to rob a bank, so they were returning the Christmas presents they took." Zeke then said.

"Ohhh…I guess you guys had a sneak peak at going good, then." Diane said. "So, come on! Tell the story…"

Wolf put his hands up, "All right, all right." Wolf cleared up his throat.

"Here we go…" Zeke was about to cringe, his dad got into his narrating phase.

Wolf smiled, "Twas the day before Christmas, before the Bad Guys turned good…"
