Then one night she was told from her step aunt Ivy that she and her other aunt are going out and won't be back till morning. It's perfect to run away. Carrying nothing, but her bag filled with her mother's scarf and necklace, father's reading glasses and lucky charm and her photo of her and her parents, she started on her way. On her way to freedom that is.
Nancy stowed away on buses and most of the time she walked. Then she finally made it to New York City. She found shelter from a big box that would hold an enormous tv. Next she found some food that is still good to eat in the dumpster.
After her meal, she looked at the stars in her shelter. She saw two of them twinkling in the night sky and that caused tears to from in her eyes. She thinks those two stars are her parents and she cried herself to sleep.
Before that, she made a wish in her mind. She did, her wish is that her life would be grand and brand new. What she didn't know is that her wish is about to come true. Also what she doesn't know is that her life will be changed forever.
Author's Note: I know that this chapter is short, but I'm like in a fast pace today.
