"I haven't seen Raccoon Girl around in a while, is everything okay or did Rocket ground you, adter you ended up on the front page of the Daily Bugle which my uncle showed me but it was cool." Casey heard Crystal saying. They were at Starbucks at a table but both females were talking making Casey nodding at the magenta-furred and haired goblin girl who was wearing a scarf with the StrangecAcademy emblem on it making Casey curious about her friend's school. "Yeah, he did especialky with Mocket on the loose which is understandable, only I'd never jojn her as I'm a heroine in training." Casey said softly making Crystal get it.
"I don't blame Rocket, as when my uncle foubd out I was Chryalis, he got scared and that's why he enrolled me in Strange Academy not just because it fits me but don't worry, I'm sure he'll let you be Raccoon Girl again soon only where's Branchie." she told her.
"Ohhhh she's home asleep so I let her be, plus my brother's birth-dad is livibg with us, which is intresting but Winter Break is goibg differently from how I thought it would be pkus there's New Year's." Casey replied to her drinking hot cocoa getting whipped cream on her furry nose making Crystal giggle handing her an napkin hearing her thank her.
"You can come to ohr New Year's party, if you want guessibg your bro's probabky going to a party for New Year's." she told her making the female-kit grin. "I'd love that, thanks as normally on New Year's, Branchie and me just have our own party and watch the ball drop on TV." she replied to her which Crystal got as they left heading to the comic-book store owned by Ms Diez who was used to them frequenting the store.
"Wait, we're going on a vacation after New Year's to a ski resort, where I can snowboard and play in the snow as much as I want, what about Guardians stuff or Mocket don't you wanna deal with that stuff." Casey asked Rocket making Rocket and his birth-dad chuckle at her making the female-kit frowning not limijg when adults did this. "Sorry kiddo but it's why we're going on vacation, to get away from that stuff as we needd a break plus Grabdpa Marshmallow's coming with us." Rocket told her.
"Okay but wait until I tell Branchie, she's gonna be so excited to play in the snow." Casey said, excited making Rocket sigh seeing Branchie there talking to Casey in Groot which the female-kit understood nodding. "Branchie said that her dad wanrs to spend some tine with her and she can't come with us on vacation." she said. Rocket saw anxiety in her eyes as Branchie went everywhere with her even when she was Raccoon Girl so this was a big deal. "Are you gonna be okay with this, honey." Rocket said to her. "It is a big change but if I foubd my birth-parents and they wanted to spend time with me, you'd he okay with it so I'm cool if Branchie wants to be with her dad." she replied.
"I am Groot." Branchie replied to her making Casey nod. " You're welcone but let's go pack." she said as they went upstairs but didn't notice the look on Rocket Senior's face especially after what Casey had said. "You have to tell her, dad as she won't be upset but happy." Rocket said feeling his phone buzz as it was Nebula making a grin cross his face answering
