Angel: Happy New Year everyone! I wanna share some of my upcoming projects for the new year. So I'm currently working on a Code Lyoko remake that I wanna get out soon, but so far I'm only 13 episodes in. After that I believe will be Regular Show, as well as My Hero Academia. And yes, the latter is fairly massive in content, which is why I wanna hold that off for the later half of the year. Because boy, do I have a lot on my plate with that anime and more! I am working on that anime little by little, because by the time I get to it, it's gonna have more episodes than I've ever written in my life.

And also I wanna get back to doing some movies this summer, which should be The Road to El Dorado and Vivo. And then Sonic stuff right now I'm still taking a break from. I can't promise how much I can deliver with some of these projects, but I hope to at least finish these and more by the end of the year! Well, except My Hero Academia, because that's still producing episodes.

The next day, Ryusui held the blackened bread in his hands. He was shaking as this wasn't exactly what he wanted. "I want...no, I need!" He looked up towards the sky in a panic. "A professional chef right noooooow!" He cried out while Ukyo, Kohaku, and Chrome watched near the science lab.

"Why?" Chrome asked in confusion as he and Kohaku ate the disgusting charred bread. "This bread Senku made is perfectly good. Don't be so picky," Chrome took a bite out of it, while Kohaku was eating Sumi's bread.

"It's practically a rock, when it goes out, it's so easy! And Sumi's bread is so fluffy even though it's falling apart in my hands!" Kohaku cried out as Ukyo closed his eyes, shaking his head. It was really unfortunate they couldn't tell the difference between the two breads here...

"You guys have no idea what you're missing," Ryusui pointed at them with a small smile. "Real bread is a delicacy, it's unbelievably good! You understand? That's why we need a real chef, just like Sumi suggested! Her bread is delicious, but it lacks appeal. No offense."

Sumi and Senku walked out of the lab holding hands. "None taken. Even if I were to make more bread, I'm too busy with other projects. So handing it off to a professional doesn't really bother me," She scratched her cheek, blushing a little from holding his hand. He didn't think it was too overly affectionate for him, since it was just a simple thing. She was still getting used to it, though. Everyone stared at the two and then it finally hit them.

"Don't tell me you two are..." Kohaku's eyes shined at them in anticipation.

"Yeah, we're a thing," Senku nonchalantly said while digging his pinky with his free hand. Sumi gave a small smile.

"That's bad! It's about time!" Chrome exclaimed happily while pumping his fists.

Ryusui grinned while snapping his fingers. "Ha ha! I had a feeling about you two. Now you both finally got what you wanted."

"Congratulations, you two," Ukyo gave them a small smile.

"Thanks for the support. Now we just have to face the village..." Sumi gave a nervous look with blue lines over her forehead. She could just imagine their reactions now...they had supported them too, even if there were those awkward moments like when they were both made the chiefs of the village.

"Anyway, what do you expect us to do about it?" Senku turned to Ryusui. "We're all out of revival fluid. We could always make more from poo, but that whole thing would take months at least."

"Plus we need alcohol, and that takes forever to make as well. We could make the time, but if we start using that method for every single person, that'll take the rest of our lives..." Sumi gave a small sweat drop. By the time they would've made revival fluid using poo, they'd be done with the ship, or they would've gotten about a dozen people revived if the miracle cave wasn't blown up.

"That won't do, I need some now!" Ryusui complained while pointing at them.

"At least pretend to listen," Chrome deadpanned, but the captain snapped his fingers in response.

"Ha ha! I was listening. Don't worry, all we need is a single dose of this stuff. I'm sure I can manage!" He told the group confidently.

Senku, Sumi, Chrome, and Ukyo gave him deadpanned looks. "Good luck, you dumbass. We don't have the nitric acid we need," Senku remarked while Chrome nodded in agreement.

"And the place we used to get it is now in a pile of rubble. There are no other caves we've found that would hold any," Sumi muttered while crossing her arms. "If we haven't found oil, why would finding another cave be any different?"

"Oh..." Ryusui had a dark look on his face. "See, the thing is...I got a sneaky suspicion some villain is hiding a teensy bit from us." He then chuckled, Chrome flinching in alarm.

"Dude, that face! If anyone here's a villain, it's clearly this guy!" He exclaimed from Ryusui's concerning expression.

The phone started ringing at the Tsukasa Empire. Minami then picked it up. "Hello?" She listened and then looked confused. "The revival fluid? Why on Earth would I of all people have any of that?" She looked away in silence, as she was attempting to look innocent.

Ryusui laughed in response; he could tell from her tone that she was lying. "Don't play dumb, reporter! Come on, you were the one choosing who got revived, weren't you?" He then gave a playful look in his eyes. Senku, Sumi, and Chrome were all standing behind him. "Which means you had more opportunities to swipe a dose than anyone else. Just enough to revive someone with valuable intel. The stuff's liquid gold for a reporter."

Sumi blinked in realization. It would make sense for Minami to hoard some herself. Tsukasa's men would've had no problem letting her through if she was tasked with getting it for Tsukasa at his request. So snatching some up while pretending he needed it wouldn't have caused any suspicion at all.

Minami gave a small grunt as Gen came in. "I can relate. No one can escape their desires," He waved a finger forward as Ryusui spoke again. "As the greediest man in the world, I've got some instinct. And they're all screaming that you're hiding this."

"Huh?!" Gen had taken the speaker at this point, having wide grey eyes. "Eriously-say?! I don't believe it, can you really make something like that, Senku and Sumi?" Ryusui and Chrome were confused since neither of them actually spoke into the speaker.

"What is he doing?" Chrome pointed at the speaker while looking at them. "You guys didn't say anything."

"I don't know, but it's Gen, so let him do what he does best," Senku responded while Sumi looked up.

"All I know is, it's gonna be a tall order if we're gonna get her to give up some revival fluid," She stated knowingly with her hands on her hips.

"They say they have the perfect gift for our star reporter, Hokutozai Minami! In exchange for the revival fluid, that is," Gen stated and Minami looked at him in confusion.

"Hokutozai Minami...?" Chrome was bewildered by the last name.

"Damn. That's a badass name, reporter," Senku couldn't help but comment.

"It must be a sign," Sumi let out a small giggle.

"It has the kanji for the four cardinal directions. Together they spell news," Ryusui told them, even though Chrome was the only person who didn't know that.

Gen leaned in towards Minami's ear. "Whisper, whisper, whisper, whisper, whisper, whisper..." He mumbled and once she heard what he said, she let out a sharp gasp. She then clasped her hands in anticipation, a light blush on her face as she looked up.

"Really...? I want that...but I..." She stammered in eagerness, wondering if it could even be done.

"Huh. I wonder what she's so eager for," Chrome smiled a little. "Whatever it is, I bet we can whip it up with some good old science."

Senku let out a chuckle. "Yeah, works for the two of us, man. Desire, it's the driving force of science. Without it, we wouldn't get anywhere. And whenever we make something new, it paves the way for more inventions to come."

"Science is unlimited, so whatever it is, I'm sure we can pull it off. We wouldn't have gotten this far if people didn't want things for their own," Sumi gave a small smile, crossing her arms. "Like the cotton candy machine."

"You just wanna eat some," Senku deadpanned a bit towards her and she hummed.

"Guilty~!" She sung a bit with a big grin. He rolled his eyes and patted her on the head more affectionately, which the others didn't notice. But she did as she flinched and smiled happily.

Minami held up her headband to reveal a small bottle of revival fluid that dropped from it. "All I have is enough for someone small like a child," She admitted and the mentalist hummed a bit. Ryusui's instincts were right all along. "So, who do you plan to wake up with it? A three-star chef or something?"

"Yup! So that we can have proper food for the journey," Sumi answered her cheerfully.

"By the way, Senku, Sumi," Gen spoke up, getting their attention. "How are things going? Anything I should know abo-" Sumi snatched the speaker and hung up, her face red as she sweated a little. She turned around to the others.

"He's the last person who should know what's going on...he'll be relentless as hell if he knows about me and Senku," She gave an innocent look towards them. "So I'll tell him on my own!"

"Ha. That was a pretty savage move, you might've pissed him off," Senku grinned at her, laughing. "Wish I could've seen his face."

"He'll get over it..." Sumi gave a small sweat drop from what he said. "Maybe. Either way, I'll handle that later."

Later on, she, Nikki, Gen, Taiju, and Yuzuriha headed over by raft to the small island that they found Ryusui at. "Here, huh?" Nikki asked while standing behind Minami and Yuzuriha up front. Gen was in the middle while Taiju was rowing the boat.

"This is where we found Ryusui, isn't it?" Taiju wondered, and they all remembered what Ryusui told them before they left.

"The one we want is Francois." Gen and Yuzuriha looked around. "They should be pretty easy to find." Taiju pointed to the statue, waving a hand at Minami. "They were with me when I was petrified." Minami bent down to them, nodding in confirmation.

"Francois?" Senku asked and then recalled what Ryusui said when he was revived.

"My butler Francois will cut you a check. Write any number you'd like on it. Francois!" He snapped his fingers, but nothing happened.

"Really?" Senku deadpanned while doing some experimenting with Sumi. Ryusui was leaning against the entrance to the lab. "So you want your butler?"

"If it'll get him to stop complaining," She commented to the green-haired scientist, who gave a knowing smile.

"I want my butler slash chef. A master of both fine dining and exemplary service. A true professional in the art of hospitality! Even in this primitive world, they'll make food not just to sustain us, but they will taste like nothing had in thousands of years," Ryusui told them and Sumi just shrugged it off. "Oh, by the way, I once again give my congratulations for you two...but now that she's taken, I guess I can't get that date anymore, huh?"

"You were never going to get it," Sumi gave him a blank look as a chibi head.

"He'll survive given his opinion on all women," Senku responded with the same expression. "I'm not worried."

Minami poured the revival fluid over Francois. "Wait, are they a man?" Taiju asked in confusion while examining the statue. "Or on second thought, are they a woman?"

"You know, it's hard to tell. I'm not sure," Yuzuriha gave a closed-eye smile.

Taiju squeezed his eyes shut, turning around. "Well, just in case, then I'll excuse myself! Don't wanna be impolite!" He screamed as he ran off in the other direction.

Nikki glanced up in thought. "Could be wrong, but I think Francois is usually a male name. Ryusui didn't exactly give us details."

Yuzuriha held up a set of clothes in her hands. "He told us what clothes to bring, so I guess we're covered either way." The stone at the top of the head started to crack, followed by the rest of the body. Then the stone pieces from the back broke off first. Francois grabbed the clothes, putting them on with ease. They then struck a pose, shocking Yuzuriha and Gen with how swift they were. Francois then bowed to them, to their disbelief.

"First things first, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the accruement. But more importantly..." They then looked up with a look of determination. "Are any of you fine people familiar with Nanami Ryusui, per chance? I must find him, and quickly," They then stood up, Nikki and Yuzuriha giving sounds of shock.

"You just woke up after 3,700 years," Yuzuriha spoke up nervously, holding up her hands. "Are you sure you wouldn't rather just take it easy?"

"Ryusui's fine!" Taiju smiled while running up to them. "No need to worry about him!"

"Worry?" They didn't feel that emotion in the slightest. "You mistake me. The fact is worrying has never solved anything, therefore I do not bother. This is simply my work, nothing more," They adjusted their gloves and then walked off. "If you cannot help me, I must bid you adieu."

"Wait!" Gen ran after them. "You have no idea what direction he's in! I guess I'll act as your guide."

"That'd be wonderful, thank you," Francois continued to walk. "I appreciate it."

The others just blinked while standing there, not sure what to think of what they just witnessed. Francois was definitely...not like anyone they had seen before.

It was nighttime, and Francois was still walking, not even seeming tired. Gen, on the other hand, could barely keep up with them. "How iring-tay..." He whined at this; he didn't think offering to be a guide would result in no breaks whatsoever. Almost just like when he'd do manual labor in the early days in the Kingdom of Science...

"Francois is a French name," Ukyo murmured in thought another morning. "Are they French? Can they speak Japanese?"

"Huh. Never really thought of it before," Ryusui replied while leaning in a chair, his arms behind his back. "They might be Japanese. I'm trying to remember if it was Francois or Francoise...whatever. I don't recall that or their gender."

"Ack," Sumi flinched in disbelief at him, having white eyes. She was standing next to Senku as they leaned against the walls of the lab. "How could you not remember...?"

"Seems kinda important!" Kohaku exclaimed as her eyes bulged.

"It wouldn't kill you to care a bit more," Chrome muttered in a bit of disdain.

"I do know one thing for certain," Ryusui got onto his feet, holding up a finger. "Francois is the most desirable butler in the whole world. And if they're good, their background or gender don't matter. Am I wrong?"

Before anyone could answer, Francois arrived right behind him. "Pardon me, Ryusui and friends. I'd like to take a close look at the bread you've made," They spoke up, shocking Chrome and Kohaku.

"They're here now?! Just like that!" Chrome screeched and Sumi turned to the side, wondering how they got here. She got her answer as seconds later, Gen trudged behind, barely able to continue walking.

"Am I alive...?" He looked up with white eyes as Sumi ran over to him. "That was two whole days...nonstop..." Gen whined while kneeling and the black-haired scientist checked over him. He then looked up at her accusingly. "What was with hanging up on your best friend earlier, Mire-chan?!"

"Ahh..." She sweated nervously as she almost forgot about that. "I'll tell you later..." She earned a small grumble in response. "You need some rest after walking two days straight!" She gave him an innocent smile and he looked at her suspiciously.

"Don't we need to, like, fill them in on everything?" Kohaku walked over, watching Francois look around.

"That's not necessary. I can guarantee you Francois got caught up on the way over here. And they're damn quick on the uptake," He then presented his butler with the burnt bread that Senku had made. "Here it is! The bread we made using our own home-grown wheat!"

Francois stared at it in silence, thinking of their reactions of if they had tasted it. They looked away while gagging a little bit, a handkerchief over their mouth. There was also a small shadow over their eyes. "Preparing for the worst possible scenario is part of my job, so let me ask...you didn't serve this industrial waste to these people, did you?" They pointed down to it, looking disgusted.

"Ha ha! I did!" He confirmed as the others looked on. Senku and Sumi looked horrified while Ukyo had a sheepish smile on his face. Hearts flew from Chrome and Kohaku's head.

"Not gonna lie, it was pretty tasty," Kohaku said while drooling a little.

"Well then," Francois moved away the handkerchief. "You then created another batch?"

Everyone looked at Sumi, who flinched that the butler was able to tell. "Ack! U-Um...well, here," Sumi walked up with the tray of bread that she was holding. "I've never had my food examined by a professional chef before..." She rubbed her arm as Francois took it and then had a bite. They swallowed it and then turned to her.

"This second batch is only passable. It lacks elegance," They stated without hesitation.

"So I keep hearing..." She murmured while Senku chuckled, rubbing the top of her head.

"Relax. You can just try again, Sumi," He gave her a small smile. "Right?" The two shared a high-five and Senku blinked while looking at her. "Hm," He rubbed his chin, confusing her. "Doesn't feel right now that things have changed between us. Seems too casual."

"Huh? So what do you-" Senku leaned down to kiss her on the forehead, to the shock of everyone else. He pulled away seconds later, humming.

"That's better. Not too normal, and now I've got just the thing to give you when it's appropriate time for affection," He nodded while pleased with himself. Sumi smiled bashfully at him, playing with one of her bangs. The fact that he was apparently thinking about it when she said he didn't have to made her happy.

"...WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?!" Gen shouted with wide eyes, Senku digging his pinky into his ear nonchalantly. "Are you telling me that you two are finally together?!" He pointed at them accusingly while Sumi stared at him, blinking.

"Pretty much," She confirmed and he shook at them in disbelief.

"Not air-fay I was the last to know..."

"That's because you kept pushing the issue," Senku remarked in a blank tone. "And because you were technically involved the whole time."

Francois dug into their bag, putting on an apron. "Now what are our guests hoping to eat? And what style of cuisine are you looking for?" Francois asked Ryusui curiously.

"We need something for a lengthy sea voyage," Senku stepped up to them. "It has to keep from spoiling, and fill our stomachs. Basically, we want edible bread, but for Sumi's sake, we can't have her make bread and save humanity at the same time. Which is why you come in."

"And we need enough for a big crew of people," Sumi held up a finger. "We already have lots of wheat on hand, but if you need any more, let us know! Just because I can't take this as a priority doesn't mean I won't help you out, Francois."

"Right, and how many months should it last?" Francois finished tying up the apron, looking up at the duo. "I'd like as accurate as a figure as you can provide, please."

Ukyo gasped a little while Senku gave a big grin, impressed. Sumi gasped too, her eyes shining. "Wow! So diligent, Francois!" She commented in awe of the butler of how prepared they were being.

"Thank you," Francois bowed to her.

"Huh..." Ryusui rubbed his chin in thought. "In my experience, the crew wouldn't last longer than about a year at sea. If it's over by then...so let's say at most..." He snapped his fingers once he came up with an answer. "Ten full months. That's how long it needs to last!"

"Ten months it is," Francois bowed again. "Understood, sir. In that case, I have just the thing in mind: Stollen, courtesy of the goat."

"Stollen...?" Kohaku wondered while trying to figure out what it was. "What?"

"It's a kind of sweet bread," Ukyo answered for the blonde. "It's eaten at Christmas and keeps well."

Kohaku located the herd of goats with Ukyo. She threw a rope to capture its legs, and when they brought it back, Francois milked it. Kohaku shook a jar from behind, and then picked up speed. Francois turned around to her in bewilderment. Soon, they had a pile of butter.

"Wait a sec!" Ukyo exclaimed in realization. "Oh wow, it is goat butter!"

"And we'll stuff our bread full of dried fruits, which will have been preserved in alcohol," Francois explained while Natri and Alumni gathered berries for the bread. Soon, they were soaking in wine in glass jars.

"Ah," Senku murmured while he, Chrome, and Sumi examined them. "The butter, salt, and dried fruit are working their magic. They're all fantastic at sucking up moisture. Bacteria can't grow if there's nowhere to keep it alive. Which means this won't spoil."

"Not only that, but soaking fruits in alcohol gives it a rich and deep flavor to the fruit," Sumi smiled in realization. "The wine helps infuse the fruits with a unique taste, giving it a distinctive flavor profile. And people can do this to make fruitcake."

Francois knead the fruit-covered dough onto the table, wearing a bandana over their head. Francois, Senku, and Sumi were all following the butler's example. "It's more about speed than force," He told the duo.

"I'd like to think I'm getting the hang of kneading," Senku commented, though there were a few berries coming out of their dough.

"It's really not that hard once you've had practice," Sumi stated while standing between the two of them. Her hair was tied up into a ponytail, her bangs pinned above her head. Her dough only had three or four nuts poking out.

"Excuse me!" Francois slammed down a stick as if they were scolding students. All of them yelped while recoiling back, moving away their hands. All three of them were shaking in fear. "Ryusui, Senku, look! The nuts are poking out every which way. They're sure to get burned while baking!" They then turned to the black-haired scientist. "Sumire, please show them the correct way of kneading. So far, you've only missed a few of the nuts..."

"Eep!" Sumi flinched in alarm, not wanting to be scolded too. "Yes, Francois! So, you need to really get into it so that you'll get every last nut and berry into the dough," She continued to knead, the two looking over her shoulders.

"Like this?" Senku stood behind her and moved his arms, doing the same thing she did. She blushed as his chest was touching her back. It was the same feeling she had when he was behind her to get Kaseki on their side. But now that they were dating, it was still the same, but she didn't think he'd do it in front of other people. Then again, he just probably didn't mind it.

"W-Well...yes, but I don't think you should turn this into a flirting session around Francois," She murmured while blinking rapidly. He chuckled while grasping her hands, both of them kneading together.

"If we're now in a relationship, I can do whatever the hell I want. Besides, we've known each other for thousands of years. Should it really matter? Unless you actually don't like this," He blinked while glancing at her, stopping what he was doing. She looked away shyly, still blushing.

"I mean...no, I don't hate it..." She mumbled loud enough for him to hear, though Francois was just staring at the two intensely. Senku smirked and they continued kneading together as she had a small smile on her face.

"Ha ha, now that's adorable!" Ryusui laughed with his hands on his hips.

"Don't get used to it," Senku rolled his eyes at him.

"You're using the upper heat and lower heat separately, I see," He commented while the bread was baking in two spots. Francois closed the door, looking up at the oven in awe.

"This is wonderful. Thank you for allowing me to use it."

"You're welcome, Francois," Sumi hummed with a small smile. "You're allowed to use it anytime!"

"I aim for exemplary service. It's my duty to fulfill a guest's every last desire! Because..." They looked towards the ground with a small grin. "Greed equals justice. Incidentally, when it comes to firmer breads, the first 9 minutes are crucial."

Chrome looked out from the shed. "Whoa! Dude! Something bad's happening over there!"

"That's for sure!" Kohaku jumped to land next to him, clasping her hands. "I've never smelled something so appetizing in my entire life! It's like a whole new world for my nose!" She sniffed the air happily along with Chrome.

"Said first 9 minutes are how long the rising period of our Stollen will last," Francois started off, sweating a bit. "Though I wonder how much heat will be transferred to the bread given the circumstances." As they were talking, Senku walked up to the oven. "That is, I wonder how airtight the oven-"

Senku used a pump into the oven with a devious smirk. This caused a lot more air to come out and he stepped back with Sumi. He held an arm in front of her. "The science behind this is stupid simple. Steam conducts energy better than air, so it gives a big burst of heat in a flash!" The pump was actually filled with water as he let out a laugh.

"For lots of reasons, steam is one of the most widely used for conveying heat energy. It was used for mechanical power, space heating, and it conducts heat better than liquid water because of the lower density. And we're sorry for not asking permission first," Sumi turned to the two with a sheepish smile. "He does things without asking unless it involves me...most of the time."

"Hope you don't mind that we messed with your process," Senku finished and then walked off.

"We?! What do you mean, we? That was all you!" Sumi called out while running after him. Francois looked back at the two in silence, turning to Ryusui. With their science brains and how they just helped out...they knew what was necessary.

"Ryusui...as your loyal butler...I pledge to bring the Nanami Conglomerate back. But in order to take on this new world..." They glanced back at the duo walking further away. "We'll need them. Ishigami Senku and Sumire Weinberg. I want them."

Neither of them heard this as Sumi was looking up at Senku. "Remind me to never bake around you again..." She murmured and he turned to look at her.

"Eh, I took you off the baking, remember? So I'm not worried. I've stuffed myself enough with the 3 months we were camping together and the rest of the year with Taiju," He remarked casually and she scoffed a bit.

"Heh," Ryusui gave a knowing smile. "Yeah, I agree...obviously. I'm the greediest man in the world, aren't I?"

Once the Stollen was finished, Chrome took a bite. He then screamed happily, tears flying from his eyes. Everyone had been eating some, Kohaku covering her mouth with a small blush. "This is so freaking bad!" Chrome shouted as the other villagers looked blissful eating it. "What is happening in my mouth? Like too good!"

"Oh wow..." Ukyo murmured while shedding a few tears as well. "This is actually making me tear up. It's the first proper modern food I've had in thousands of years."

"It's reminiscent of a firm Madeline! I prefer this to stone world food any day!" Gen commented after having a taste.

Sumi sniffed as her eyes shook happily as she tried to keep it in. "Oh my god, this is so delicious...!" She held her cheeks. "It reminds me of the bread I'd eat with Lillian over Christmas...!"

"Yeah," Senku smiled a little while looking at it. "It legitimately tastes like it's from a modern bakery!" He then let out a chuckle. "It'll last to the other side of the planet, and it's good as hell too! It's just the kind of food we've been working for! And now it's in our hands!"

Francois smiled while placing a hand in front of their stomach. "That greed equals justice."

Bread acquired!

Chrome was shaking in happiness, a small blush over his cheeks. "This...stuff...it's way too delicious! It's like the baddest thing I've ever tasted, Francois!" He looked up in awe as Ukyo was having more bread.

"It's a surprisingly simple recipe. If you want to make bread, all you truly need is some flour. Mix some water into said flour, and let it rest for several days at about 30 degrees Celsius," They poured the water into the bowl of flour. "It's summer right now, so the weather's perfect. Voila, it'll ferment on its own," Chrome, Ryusui, and Senku watched them. Sumi was following their example, doing the same thing with the water and flour. She also had a bandana around her hair, wearing gloves. "You should begin to see some bubbling."

"That's all?" Gen walked over with his hands in his sleeves. "Don't you need...yeast or whatever it's called to make bread?"

"That stuff's literally floating around in the air," Senku explained while waving a finger. "It'll grow in our wheat dough no problem. Sumi didn't need it either when she made her batch."

"That's thanks to most of the plants around here," Sumi stated while mixing the flour. "Soils have it too across the globe, there are about 250 or so of yeast species. And summer temperature is the most ideal for yeast." Gen gave a sound of awe.

"Actually, fruit skins and peels tend to hold quite a bit as well," Francois looked up at them. "And adding them to the dough can impart different flavors. The more water you use, the softer the bread will be. It will also spoil faster, so I suggest a one to one flour to water ratio. Once we have this basic dough, the rest of the process is the same as in modern bread making. You must've used a one to two ratio, hence why your batch was falling apart."

"Ohh, I see," Sumi blinked in understanding. "I must've used too much water. That's embarrassing," She rubbed the back of her neck sheepishly. Senku just hummed and kissed the side of her head, silently telling her it was just trial and error. She flinched from the contact but smiled, a small blush on her cheeks.

"Francois' bread class," Francois bowed before starting to demonstrate. "First, add water and salt to flour." They and Sumi then began to knead together on opposite sides. "Then knead." The two sat together, Francois holding a cup of tea. Sumi smiled while eating some ramen. "Let it sit for roughly an hour." Then the duo tossed the ball of dough into the air. "Knead it into a ball again to force out any gas. Then form a V with your hands to knead from underneath." The two took another break, Sumi this time eating some cotton candy. "Rest for another hour. Bake at 200 to 300 degrees, and you're done."

"That's bad!" Chrome exclaimed as Francois bowed. "And in a good way!"

Sumi gave a small smile from the lesson. "I'm learning so much from you, Francois. You're really talented," She complimented with her hands behind her back.

"I thank you for the compliment, but you are the one who should earn them, aren't you?" Francois gave a small smile, the woman tilting her head at the butler. "You work hard and you always manage to get people's spirits up. I can tell by your demeanor."

"Eh?" She blinked and then turned to the dough with a soft smile. "Nah, I don't know what you're talking about. I wouldn't have gotten anywhere on my own," Francois stared at her curiously. "It's not just about what I do or how I act. It's about what inspires me, and that's always been science, as well as all the friends I have. Which includes you now!"

Francois gave a small gasp and then their smile widened.

"Okay!" Minami exclaimed from the speaker. "Yes, that's great and all, but don't forget. Who do you have to thank for that awesome bread?" She pointed to herself.

"Francois, duh," Senku, Gen, Kohaku, Chrome, and Sumi all answered in unison. They all had small blushes on their faces while eating the bread happily. Francois bowed from the thanks from the group.

"Wrong answer!" Minami screamed in disbelief. "I mean, it's the right answer. Yes, Francois too, but still. It's because I gave you that dose of revival fluid! Also, don't forget what you promised to make me in exchange! I expect you to get on that pretty soon! Bread is nice, yeah...but what I want more than anything is..." She took a deep breath and stated what she wanted.

Gen whistled as Chrome and Kohaku had white eyes. Senku and Sumi gave knowing sounds. "The hell is that?" Chrome wondered while Kohaku was silently swallowing bread in her mouth. Senku chuckled while closing his eyes, Sumi giving a small knowing smile.

"Anyone ever tell you you talk out of your ass too much, mentalist?" Senku opened an eye with a sly look.

"Sometimes I wonder if you need an off switch," Sumi remarked, both of them holding bread of their own.

"My apologies, I got a little caught up in the moment. But you guys can do it, can't you, Sumiku?"

"That better not be a regular thing," Senku warned as Gen gave a big smile, turning back to the speaker. "It's gonna take some steady hands to make that. Which means we need our craftsman in order to get the job done."

"But Ishigami Village is a long way to walk for poor old Kaseki," Kohaku reminded while Minami walked over to the construction of the ship. "Should we really call him over for a side project?"

"Well, for one, we 'promised' Minami to make it for her," Sumi glanced over to the innocent-looking Gen. "I'm not one to break something that I promised to people, it's not my style. Even if I didn't make it myself. And two, if we don't, she'll never let us live it down. That does bring up a good point, though...it takes two days, and I'm not sure if it's a good idea to bring him over hot air balloon. The altitude might make him sick for someone his age."

"No sweat!" Taiju suddenly exclaimed, getting their attention. "I'll just carry him on my back!"

"Oh, hey Taiju," Senku greeted his friend first.

"Hi Taiju!" Sumi replied cheerfully to him.

"Leave it to me!" Taiju offered to the both of them.

"Alright. Thanks."

"Yeah, it'll be a big help for us!" The black-haired scientist told him gratefully.

Kaseki chuckled, the brunet turning to him. "Thank you, Taiju, but you don't have to worry about me." Senku and Sumi both blinked in confusion, wondering what he meant. "Senku, Sumi...do you have the foggiest idea how bored I've been since you boys and Sumi left?" He then looked up with wide eyes. "You underestimate your craftsman friend!"

Chrome heard something while carrying a basket, turning around. In the distance approaching them was something with smoke coming from it. He blinked, but then it was revealed to be a new vehicle! Senku, Gen, Sumi, Chrome, and Kohaku all shouted in utter disbelief.

"Guess it can drive up hills now that it's got dual pistons!" Senku shouted while Minami was driving.

"The Steam Gorilla 2!" The group exclaimed while Kaseki was leaning in the passenger seat. As they got closer, Senku picked up Sumi and ran off with her, and she yelped. Gen ran off as well as Minami skidded the car to a stop, and she was wearing shades. Kaseki chuckled at their baffled faces.

"I had all the pieces on hand, including the engine," He revealed while stepping out.

"Your clothes!" They all shouted as the craftsman was wearing the same clothes he put on during the fashion show.

"Looking good, I know," He also had shades on. "I was thinking of sticking with this style from here on out. Down to business," The shades gave a small flash. "You called me all the way out here to make something for you, right? So let's hear what it is."

Senku and Sumi both whispered in his ears. Once he heard, his clothes immediately ripped off, Senku gasping in shock. "AAAH, NO!" Sumi cried out while turning away, covering her eyes with her hands.

"Your clothes!" Chrome, Kohaku, and Gen looked on with wide eyes.

Kaseki got to work building something that looked like it was made out of gold. "While our craftsman Kaseki is doing the building, you and us two are gonna be doing the science," Senku told Chrome as the three were in the lab.

"Right!"

Senku wiggled his fingers while looking at their materials. There were a few beakers, a tray, and a pump. "Here's what we're mixing together this time. Our old friend sodium hydroxide," Senku gave a small smile as Sumi handed him the next beaker. "Silver, and ammonia."

Chrome flinched and then pinched his nose. "Oh yeah, that smelly stuff we get from pee. How come you aren't affected, Sumi? You know, with your sense of smell and all?"

"When you're a scientist like me, you tend to get used to the smelly stuff that comes from daily life. Although you're not wrong, it does reek," Sumi shook her head a bit to not even focus on the smell right now.

"We dip this glass into the sketchy concoction we just made..." He held a pane of glass with some tongs, dipping it into some paste. "Sprinkle on just a hint of glucose from grapes," Sumi poured it in with a small smile. "And it's done," Senku held up a mirror to Chrome, who recoiled back in shock.

"Already?! Wait...what the heck is this?!" He shouted upon seeing his reflection. "Me? Bad!"

Mirror acquired!

Sumi giggled as Senku handed it to her and she adjusted her bangs a little. "People used this to get ready in the morning for their day. You must've used the water from the river to get a good look like everyone else."

Chrome then gave Senku and Sumi a sly smile. "Hey, Senku...I bet Sumi looks really pretty, huh?"

Sumi blinked at him in utter confusion. She had no idea where he was going with this or why he even brought it up. "Well..." She examined her clothes before looking back up. "I look fine, I don't know about pretty."

"She's right, she looks just fine," Senku crossed his arms, glancing at her. "And normally I don't make an effort to comment on beauty, but seeing as we are in a relationship, I will admit that Sumi is ten billion percent..." He trailed off, Chrome gasping in anticipation. Sumi just looked weirded out as her physical appearance was never really something she worried about ever since Tsukasa cut her lip. Any time it was told right to her face, she was usually unmoved by it until the aforementioned scar was brought up. It sometimes made her feel the opposite of pretty.

"Acceptable!" Senku gave a big grin and Sumi looked at him with wide eyes.

"Huh?!" Chrome shouted as he fell backwards, standing up seconds later. "Dude, what was that?! You two are dating now, and you tell her that?!"

Sumi finally snapped out of it and just giggled in response. "Thanks, Sen," She honestly couldn't feel negative when he was telling her like this. Senku gave her a small smile, as he knew that she acknowledged she was more than that in personality, not looks. Their bond wasn't really based off of that, and it didn't need to be.

"Now we need to wipe the back part," Senku got back on topic. "And glue on a piece of paper or carbon or whatever. That'll keep the silver coating from peeling off so you can actually use it."

Natri and Alumni admired themselves in the mirror while Ukyo stared at Minami. She wasn't even using one herself. "So then...it was a mirror you wanted?" He asked slowly, Chrome admiring himself as well behind the archer.

"Makes sense, right?" Chrome responded in a high-pitched voice. "It's all about beauty with her!"

Ryusui laughed while Minami was leaning against the table, not amused. "Don't be so insensitive, Chrome. All women are beautiful. Of course she'd care about her looks!"

"I'm not complaining about having a mirror," Minami stepped forward, hands on her hips. She then glanced back at them. "But what I asked them for was the tool of my trade."

Ukyo and Chrome stared at her in confusion, not knowing what that meant. "Tool of your trade? What?"

"Well, the villagers wouldn't know what it is, but I'm sure Ukyo, Francois, and Ryusui are familiar," Sumi gave a small grin, a hand on her hip. "She's talking about something that was from her own profession in the old world."

"This mirror..." Senku spoke up, getting their attention. He had a small smile on his face. "Is for film."

"Do you mean what I think you mean...?" Ukyo wondered and the two placed the mirror into a box.

"We place the mirror into the enclosure that Kaseki made, and seal it tight," The two closed it off together. "The whole thing's gonna work like a dark room that's built right in." Then the two were standing in front of the enclosure wearing gas mask, as the air coming from it was toxic. "Then we bathe it in the sulfur steam we made from seaweed. Shouldn't take too long." Once that was done, Minami's request was finished. "And now that film is ready and loaded," He and Sumi held up an old type of camera, named Senkion. "The daguerreotype. Humanity's oldest kind...of camera," They held it out to the shocked Minami.

"It was the first available photographic process back in the 1840s, and there was a revival of it in the late 20th century by a small number of photographers," Sumi gave Minami a small smile. "This means a lot to you as a reporter, doesn't it?"

The blonde's lips quivered as she gasped, her eyes glistening as she didn't answer. As a girl, during Christmas, her father sat nearby. He watched with a smile as she opened up her present, which was a camera. She gave a beaming smile, a blush on her face. She then presented it to her friends happily. Minami later had a different type of camera, pointing forward. She took pictures of her friends in front of a fountain. As she grew up and became a reporter, she had another new camera around her neck. After a long day's of work, she laid down on her bed. A content smile was on her face as she held her camera nearby.

The green light before petrification appeared, and Minami whipped around in shock. "On that day, thousands of years ago..." As the light got brighter, she held up her camera to take a photo. She then started to become petrified, while her camera fell from her hands. "I lost something forever..." A tear flew from her eye as the camera fell onto the ground in front of her feet. "My camera..." The lens still captured the green light above it.

Minami hugged the camera in tears, on her knees as her tears fell onto her arms and knees. "Thank you...! With this camera...I promise...I'll capture everything!" She declared to everyone. "I'll document humanity rebuilding civilization from scratch!" She sniffled while Sumi gave a happy smile, and so did the others. "And create a record of our new world!"

"You're welcome, Minami," Sumi told her in a soft voice. "I'm glad we could help you...and if you wanna do that, then we encourage it. That's actually a great idea to start keeping evidence of what we've done. Although...I should probably tell you that-"

"Sure," Senku towed a cart...full of cameras. "You do that. Meanwhile, we'll be up in our balloon taking our own pics." Gen, Ukyo, and Minami gave sounds of shock while Sumi gave a big sweat drop.

Ryusui snapped his fingers. "Good idea! Aerial photos for our airborne surveying," He agreed with the green-haired scientist.

"It'll be ten billion percent better than trying to spot stuff with a naked eye. That's the whole reason we wanted to make cameras!" Senku revealed with a big grin on his face.

"That was poorly timed, Sen..." Sumi sighed with a hand on her forehead. Then again, she didn't fall in love with him because he was subtle.

"What? You really should've just said you made it for poor Minami," Gen replied sheepishly, as the reporter was twitching in shock. "This has got to be utterly mortifying after that cute speech she made."

"You'd better at least let me take the first picture to commemorate the occasion!" She exclaimed with tears in her eyes.

"That's perfectly fair," Gen and Ukyo agreed in unison.

"Ha ha!" Ryusui snapped his fingers, money falling around him. "And I'll be buying this photo, model rights and all!" He declared, though Minami was definitely not a fan of this.

"If that's your way of saying you want to be in it, then no thank you!" She snapped at him, pouting.

"Me? Nonsense," He denied to her. "We're marking the advent of our scientific civilization." She recoiled back in shock hearing this. She wasn't expecting him to pass up the chance to be in the first photo...since she did get a sense of him in the old world. "Your models should be Senku and Sumi! Am I wrong?"

"Uh?" Senku was absolutely dumbfounded by this.

"Eh?" Sumi blinked rapidly while looking around and then pointed at herself. "Us?"

"We'll display it at the Nanami Museum!" He approached the two. "As an exhibit on the history of the new world! Besides, it's about time you two have your first picture as a couple!" The two flinched at that last sentence, looking at him white-eyed. Technically, they were one, but they never stated it as such.

"Kyaaa, you two are a couple?!" Minami squealed with hearts in her eyes. "We have to take lots of pictures of you two!" She gushed while looking at them.

"Thanks, Ryusui..." Senku and Sumi both deadpanned in unison, dropping their shoulders. Francois gave a small smile towards the duo and then looked at Minami.

"...You seem to be under the wrong impression of Master Ryusui," They spoke up, and Minami turned around with a small sound of shock. "He does not seek out glory for his own sake. His greed goes beyond that. It isn't about such petty things as vanity." Ryusui laughed while patting Senku and Sumi on the back repeatedly. Neither of them looked pleased with him. "He wants everyone in the spotlight, and to own the glory that he spreads to them."

"This is really unnecessary..." Sumi muttered in disbelief to Ryusui.

"Uh, we've waited for 2 and a half years. We're getting proof of this!" Chrome grinned while crossing his arms.

Francois adjusted their gloves. "Luckily..." They reached into the back of the Steam Gorilla 2, turning around while holding a bunch of bags. "I suspected this might happen. I made a request. As Kaseki was on his way, I asked that he bring Ryusui's wardrobe. And I requested that Yuzuriha make Sumire some clothing as well."

The two hunched over in dismay looking at Francois while Kaseki gave a thumbs up. "Always prepared. Francois never misses a beat," Gen complimented, his hands in his sleeves.

"Ha ha!" Ryusui boasted while crossing his arms. "I told you they were incredible!"

"Yay...?" Sumi gave an uneasy smile, her eyes closed. Minami, Francois, and Kohaku all crowded her.

"It's time to prepare our second model. Please excuse us," Francois bowed while Minami and Kohaku led her away. The black-haired scientist groaned at this while the butler followed behind, holding some bags.

Minami returned so that she could prepare for the photo. "Well?" She smiled while Francois adjusted Senku's suit. He glanced away, as he didn't want to do this at all. "Here we go. Oh, wait. Where's Sumi~?"

"Alright! She's ready!" Kohaku called out while stepping out from the area to Senku's left. The green-haired scientist sighed, as he just wanted to get this over with. Sumi stepped out from the forest, wearing a baby pink dress that looked like it was made out of satin, even though they didn't have that. Everyone except Senku had their eyes widened at how she looked, as it was a sweetheart-neckline dress that hugged her hips nicely, the top having some nice stitching in the front. There was a section in the front near her stomach was more in center than the rest of the dress. Her hair was done up in a bun, her bangs out as she still wore the necklace Senku gave her. She looked around and froze at Senku. Her shoes also were the same as the villagers, stone heels.

"Whatever she looks like, it's no big deal," Senku scoffed and then glanced over to her. "She looks the-" He did a double take as well as they made eye contact. Sumi examined how handsome he looked, trying not to make a noise or blush. Senku's cheeks became rosy while staring at her, placing a hand against his face.

"Oooh, is Senku actually blushing?" Chrome grinned widely at him.

"Heh, guess there is a first time for everything," Kohaku smiled like a cat.

"Shut up," Senku muttered while trying to remain calm. "This is ten billion percent humiliating..."

Sumi just giggled in response. She then gave a soft smile as she approached, though she was still a bit hesitant. She hunched over a bit, waving her arms to balance herself with wide eyes. The shoes were definitely not working already, she usually didn't bother wearing the same type as Kohaku. It was better to wear her normal shoes because at least she wouldn't have to worry about tripping all the time. "Isn't this a bit much?" The black-haired scientist looked at herself once she was at Senku's side, Francois moving away from them.

"Nonsense, you look wonderful!" Minami waved it off as the two stood awkwardly next to each other, looking really stiff.

"Well, this is awkward...why can't we just be ourselves?" Sumi gave a nervous laugh.

"Come on, you two, don't be shy!" The reporter waved a hand and the two groaned, stepping closer to each other until their shoulders were touching. Senku glanced down at her as she kept her eyes forward. Her face was without makeup, just foundation, but her appearance was definitely more than acceptable now.

"You look...um...well, should I even say it...?" He glanced away from her. "You tend to...not like how you look," He said quietly, but she understood.

Sumi smiled with a blush, closing her eyes. "Yeah, but coming from you, it…almost means something to me. You know, you don't need to act like that just because you think I would want you to. I told you-"

"Heh heh...nah, it was a genuine compliment. You look exciting, although I usually don't have a millimeter of interest in physical appearance," He gave her a small smirk and she flinched, pressing her fingers together. It only made sense to compliment him right back, which she'd be doing for the first time.

"U-Um..." She stammered and he blinked at her. "You look handsome," Her face was red while squeezing her eyes shut and he just let out a chuckle from how adorable she was being.

"I don't mind if you tell me," He turned his head back towards the camera. "Not like I'd hate or care for it. We're in this relationship together, remember? You can tell me anything."

"I know...you can tell me anything too," She replied with a soft smile, a light blush on her face.

"Awww!" Minami gushed at the two and they sweated nervously. "That's so cute!"

"Can we please move on?" Sumi murmured while closing her eyes.

"Is this one of those cameras that flips left and right?" Ukyo wondered as the two were in different outfits now, looking like royalty almost. They posed very awkwardly, and then had on rocker outfits.

"Nope, it has a prism in it," Senku answered as the two now looked like slackers, posing on top of the Steam Gorilla. "It's not going to invert the image." And then for some reason, Senku was in a pink dress while Sumi was wearing a suit now. Both of them looked at themselves and flinched in disgust. Senku threw off the dress while Sumi took off the suit, revealing her regular clothing. "Ahhh! Forget it! I'm going up in the balloon and wearing this. If you want a photo, take it now!" He exclaimed in annoyance to Minami.

"What he means is that we've got a lot of pictures to take of our own, so could you make it quick, please?" Sumi gave a nervous look.

"At least pose for me, come on!" Minami urged and Sumi sagged her shoulders, whining.

"Senku posing?" Kohaku looked on with white eyes, Ukyo having the same expression. Given how Senku was, it was hard to imagine. "Good luck..."

"I'm having trouble picturing that..." Ukyo murmured, some blue lines near his eye. "What, would he make a peace sign? Sumi at least would pose, but she doesn't look too comfortable taking a photo."

"Here's an idea," Francois spoke up, stopping next to Kohaku. "How about the pose taken by the world's most famous scientist?" Senku looked back while Minami smiled, pointing at her.

"That's it!"

"Oh, that'll be perfect!" Sumi smiled in agreement.

"And at least one photo of the happy couple," The butler suggested, and Sumi dropped that smile to give a deadpanned look.

"We don't have to take that one," Senku denied while rolling his eyes.

"You guys are...very happy that we're dating, but our relationship tends to be more private. So we don't need to flaunt it to everyone," The black-haired scientist waved a hand.

"Although I'll admit it out loud if that needs to be necessary!" Senku cackled while hugging his stomach.

"We're already at that stage now?" She muttered while sweat-dropping as a chibi head.

"Oh come on, at least entertain the thought. You don't even need to pose for it!" Minami told them and the two sighed. If it would get them up in the air faster...

Minami finally took the photo, leaving Ryusui, Senku, and Sumi to go up in the hot air balloon. Senku chuckled while holding the camera and looking towards the ground. "Unlike the camera on a smartphone, or any digital camera, this one isn't instant. Fly this thing steady or the image will come out blurry as hell."

Ryusui gave a small chuckle towards the two. "You're talking to the king of the wind here!"

Senku took another picture of a part of the mountains. He continued to take more, while Sumi was taking pictures on the opposite side of the basket. "It's not instant, but it'll do the job well enough. Some of them might come up blurry regardless though, because of how high up we are."

"With this, that oil field is as good as found," Ryusui smiled at the two, hands on his hips. "Ha ha!"

Chrome and Kaseki were releasing toxic gas from the camera, both of them wearing gas masks. "According to Senku and Sumi, the next step is to run mercury through it," He then poured something into the camera. "Then we take this fixing solution stuff made out of sulfur and pass that through too," Once he was done, he held up three photos, handing the other two to Minami and Kaseki. All of them then smiled in awe at what they were looking at.

"Look, it's Senku and Sumi, right there on those little plates!" Kaseki commented in excitement.

"What are those expressions all about, though?" Chrome wondered while looking at them.

Minami chuckled in response. "Only us modern folk would recognize it, I guess. That pose comes from the most famous scientist of our time..." And by that, she meant Albert Einstein's infamous pose on display. The two pictures of the scientists were side by side, though Sumi was giving a wink towards the camera to make it more herself. The third and last photo was of Senku and Sumi. She had her arms wrapped around his neck as he was smirking, and she had a beaming smile on her face.

Photography acquired!

Sumi smiled while admiring the copy of the photo of the two once they had returned from their photo taking. She then planted it on the wall in the observatory, stepping back happily. She let out a tired sigh as they had been working a lot tonight. She then stretched her arms. "I think I'm finally calling it..." She called out tiredly to Senku.

"Heh. Takes us back, doesn't it? When we'd be working late in my lab," He chuckled a bit and she glanced down knowingly.

"Haaa, and then Byukaya would make us breakfast only to find us asleep, heh...and then I'd come home and...let's just say I didn't have the warmest welcome," Her eyes saddened as the air was a bit more tense now, since...most days when she came home, she'd become a punching bag all over again in the old world. Senku looked up at her in silence from the photos he was looking at. He blinked at the woman as it came to realization for him too. He was long dead, therefore she wasn't worried about it happening ever again, but that didn't mean it never crossed her mind...at least it led her to Lillian, but she had to go through all of that to even get there.

"...Sumi," He finally spoke up while getting onto his feet, hands on his hips.

"Mm?" She turned around to see his serious expression on his face.

"Now that we're in this romantic entanglement...I want you to know that...I would never do what he did to you. I want us to grow together, and I don't have any interest in hurting you," He told her; he couldn't even imagine putting his hands on her. His physical strength compared to hers was far less able to do any real harm if he wanted to, which he never would. When he was frustrated, he would only playfully take it out on her when they got into their disagreements. And he knew that it was never meant to be serious spats...he hoped she felt the same way.

"I know...I trust you, Sen," She looked back towards outside, giving a small sigh. "Just because he laid a hand on me doesn't mean you're like him. 3,700 years is between us. I don't need you to tell me that you won't act like that."

"Yeah..." He stepped up behind her to simply touch his chest to her back. "But still."

She then hummed with a small smile from his simple action. "I wouldn't hurt you either."

"You surrendering to me in the Grand Bout was a good clue of that. We both know I wouldn't last a second around you," He let out a small chuckle and she blushed in embarrassment.

"I-I wouldn't fight you like that!" She stammered up at him as he continued chuckling. "You know I wouldn't-stop laughing!" She whined up at him with a pout, but then laughed along with him. She knew she'd be safe with Senku.

A few sparkles appeared while everything was black. A splotch of green then appeared amongst the sparkles.

(Sometimes I wonder again and again)

Suddenly, the green then split into pink, as the left was now green, while the other half was pink.

(Sometimes I wonder again and again)

A beaker then appeared to hold the mixture.

(Over a thousand times)

A silhouette of Senku appeared, which was in sparkles as he held two fingers near his head. His signature color was in the middle of his head.

(Everyone carries the baton that has been handed down)

Then Sumi appeared, same as Senku in sparkles. She was giving a two-finger salute while her signature color of pink was in her flowing hair next to her head.

(I'm getting dizzy looking at the endless road)

(I'm sure there's a way that no one has found yet)

Ryusui appeared next, his fingers about to snap while his signature color of orange was in his captain's hat.

(I'm always thinking like that, always thinking)

(Even if it's a mistake)

Gen appeared, his color being purple near his head.

(Repeat the idea)

Chrome was next, his color of blue in the middle of his head.

(Crying and laughing towards the piercing light)

Ukyo was last, tipping his head while his color of yellow was near his lips. Senku and Sumi were back to back, their eyes closed. They looked up at the same time with their bangs in front of their faces. The moon was made out of sparkles as well. Then Why-Man appeared in a flash, covered in sparkles as well while his mouth was agape.

(Where do we go?)

Senku was looking up towards a crescent moon in a field, his fists clenched as he was in a green forest.

(And where do you say you'll end up?)

Sumi had her hands folded behind her back, in front of the end of her hair. She was standing in a pink cotton candy field while looking towards the same moon Senku was.

(Where do we go?)

Ryusui was standing in an orange wheat field.

(No matter where you are)

Gen was amongst a purple meadow of jasmine flowers.

(It's all pointless)

Chrome was holding a hammer while surrounded by blue gems, as if he was scavenging in a cave. There was a beam of blue light in front of him, though.

(If there's no love)

Ukyo was sitting on the branch of a tree, looking towards a yellow moon.

(Will I see you again?)

Senku and Sumi both had their eyes closed, once again back to back.

(On the crossing road)

Both of them then opened their eyes, smiling towards each other.

(Will I see you again?)

Then they turned their eyes towards the side in unison.

(Someday we'll pass each other)

Ryusui, Gen, Chrome, and Ukyo appeared in flashes of their respective colors. The six then looked up towards the sky of sparkles together. Sumi was standing between Senku and Ryusui, holding Senku's hand as the six were looking towards their respective colors flashing in front of them.
