Nurse Joy looked around the center library for a book on Pokémon sign language. If this Meloetta is going to stay at the center, than communicate is going to be key.

"Oh, here it is."

As Nurse Joy pulled out the book, the center's chansey came over with a bottle of lotion.

"What's this for?" asked Nurse Joy.

"Chansey."

"Chansey, I'm only going to start out with some simple signs for Meloetta. I doubt my hands are going to get that dry."

Nurse Joy went over to the other room where Meloetta was sitting with some poffins.

Meloetta looked curiously at the poffins before Nurse Joy signed the word for it. A little confused, Meloetta grabbed one of the poffins before smelling it and putting it in its mouth. Meloetta smiled as it began eating the rest of the delicious treat.

"That's right. We'll keep working on the word until you're fully able to understand." Said Nurse Joy

Nurse Joy then took out a small walker for Meloetta. Meloetta looked on in more confusion as Nurse Joy signed the word for it. Nurse Joy stood the Meloetta up next to the walker, trying to help it stand up and place it in the walker only for it to start crying.

"It's okay; there's nothing to be afraid of. Look."

Nurse Joy pushed the walker just a little for Meloetta to take notice. Then, Nurse Joy helped Meloetta move its legs back and forth.

Meloetta seemed to get the idea as it started to move its legs on its own and it and the walker moved inch-by-inch. Meloetta smiled.

"That's right; we'll keep practicing until you get use to it."
