Episode 6- Sky vs Storm

July 13, X790, Night of the Blood Moon

Location: The Cave

Kaisa stirred against the cave wall, waking up once more she blinked slowly before pushing herself up, hating the sweet taste in her mouth. She immediately gritted her teeth. That bastard... how dare he drug her!

"Awake again?" Her eyes shot up to see Kían leaning against the wall opposite her, arms crossed. His gray eyes were set on her face, his brows furrowed.

Kaisa pressed her back against the wall, glaring at him. "Listen here you jackass, if you touch me again, you'll regret it!" She snapped, but she secretly hoped he'd get closer, and she knew exactly where she'd kick him too.

Kían sighed and uncrossed his arms, "Don't worry. I won't do that again. You have my word." He started to rummage through a bag, looking for something.

She scoffed, "like your word means anything to me." She started to tug on her chains, there had to be a way for her to get out of this situation. It felt too weird without her magic. Her eyes roved around the cave, looking for something, anything to free her. "The words of a lunatic are useless to me."

"I'm not a lunatic." He said back calmly, pulling out something wrapped in brown paper and a waterskin. "It'll all be over tonight, the Blood Moon is here,"

A chill went through her at his words, it was tonight?! Well, that wasn't good, she'd have to find a way to free herself and stop whatever ritual they were doing. "Anyone who thinks they can revive the dead without consequences is a moron at best and a lunatic at worst." She shot back, starting to examine the keyhole on the cuffs with narrowed eyes... maybe... "You're proving to be the stupid brother if you don't realize that."

When he didn't reply she continued, "And we're talking about Tidus, of all people! Don't you think that's a bit sad?!" She certainly thought it was; this was the guy who couldn't even fly properly with his magic.

"Tidus is smarter than you think," Kían made his way toward her with the items in his hands despite her warning to not come close to her. "And... what he lacks in brains, he usually makes up in heart."

She watched him cautiously as he neared her, kicking out with her foot when he started to kneel, aiming for between his legs but he deftly caught her foot, yanking on it so that she would lose her balance and fall onto the ground.

"Nice try," Kían said, there was a mix of amusement and annoyance on his face as he gripped her ankle, using it to pull her closer to him. "Are you hungry? I've got water and some bread."

"I'm not hungry! And even if I was, I wouldn't take anything from you," Kaisa crossed her arms as she looked up at him. A second later, her face was burning when her stomach let out a growl, catching both their attention.

Kían chuckled, a smile appearing on his lips. "It won't be any good for you to starve yourself." He pushed the bread and waterskin into her hands. "Eat. You'll need your strength to return to your guild after tonight. I didn't drug anything if that's what you're worried about."

"Once this is all over? You're making a mistake." She ignored his comment about the food and met his eyes. "Even if you could somehow bring Poppy back to life, there has to be a consequence. Are you ready to live with that?" She wasn't going to drop this whole resurrection thing, she had to make him see sense before he did something he regretted. She glanced around again, her eyes landing on a small opening in the cave and her blood ran cold when she saw sickly red moonlight. How could anyone think anything good could come from a Blood Moon?

Kían may be an idiot, but she didn't want him to do something that he'd regret or get him killed.

"If there is. I can live with it." He said decisively. "Even if I have to pay with my own life, as long as Poppy gets to live hers, I'd gladly die."

"If the price is death, then there's no point! You would just be making Poppy sad and you still wouldn't be with her!" Kaisa argued back angrily, she threw the waterskin at his face, smirking when she heard the smacking sound it made against his skin.

Kían glared down at her silently and she was pleased when she finally saw anger in his eyes. She would rather have that than his calmness. It pissed her off. "It doesn't matter. I've explained myself enough to you when I didn't need to. You clearly don't understand." He said coldly.

"The one you should be explaining this to is Tidus," Kaisa crossed her arms. "I can a hundred percent say that he wouldn't understand too,"

Kían opened his mouth to respond to her but before he could, an echoing shout sounded through the cave, causing his eyes to widen in surprise and Kaisa to smirk.

"KÍAN! GET YOUR ASS OUT HERE AND FIGHT ME!" Tidus' voice rang throughout the entire mountain, no doubt catching the attention of the other mages who worked with Kían. "AND YOU BETTER GIVE KAISA BACK!"

"Told you he'd come for me," She looked up at him challengingly. But even as she smiled, she felt dread build in her, she didn't want Tidus to have to fight his brother, not after he had been looking for him for so long.

"I never doubted that he wouldn't." Kían sighed in defeat, pushing himself to his feet. "My brother never knew when to back down from a fight, especially one that he can't win."

"Oh, he'll win alright," Kaisa said confidently. "There's no way he'd lose to someone like you."

Kían smirking back, "He's never beaten me before. And if it's a fight he wants, I'll give it to him." He turned and started to leave the cave but Kaisa called out to him.

"Not drugging me this time?" She immediately slammed her hands over her mouth, blushing when she remembered exactly how he had drugged her.

He chuckled softly, calling over his shoulder. "There's no need to. I'll be back before you know it." The hint of excitement in his voice surprised her; a part of him was eager to fight Tidus properly to see how strong he'd become.

Kaisa stared after him, making sure he was long gone before she pulled her knee to her chest, "Over-confident Jackass," She muttered as she took her boot off, tugging at the inside lining. A small smile appeared on her face when she pulled out a slim, lockpick. She always hid three in her boot just in case this happened. "I'll be long gone, and you won't be coming back."

"KÍAN! COME OUT! COME OUT AND FACE ME YOU WEAKLING!" Tidus was screaming at the top of his lungs as they ran through the mountain "DAMN! I'M LOST! KÍAN IF YOU CAN HEAR ME YELL SO I KNOW WHERE YOU ARE!"

His companions' sweat dropped at that last statement. "Tidus! Stop yelling! We don't want the people he's with to know we're here!" Rose scolded, glancing around nervously as if she was expecting the mages who beat them soundly to jump out. When she had seen the large Red Moon hanging over them, a sense of dread had filled her, wasn't anyone else worried about it?

"It was surprisingly easy to get in here," Crag said as they ran. "I was expecting the outside guard to be more skilled."

"Maybe they're all at the top of the mountain looking at the moon," Yu said after a moment. "I've never seen one so red. Maybe when we find a Celestial spirit mage, they'll know about it," He added thoughtfully.

"There he goes with his one-track mind... but the moon is creepy," Rose sighed, trying to get rid of her unease. While they did have to find Kaisa, she didn't like that they were raiding the mountain like this, they had already been beaten soundly by the mages who resided here once, and... the thought of the red moon just made her feel cold, as if it was filled with terror and despair.

"Kaisa and Kían first. Who the heck cares about a red moon?" Tidus snapped, just as they exited into a large cavern where the mage Tidus had beaten in Plox Village was waiting for them.

"It's you!" The mage surrounded himself with thick green vines with deadly thorns attached to them. "I was hoping I'd run into you again! I have to make up-"

"Sky Devil's Piercing Strike!" The plant mage never got to finish his sentence. Tidus charged forward and delivered a bone-shattering punch to the man's face, sending him flying.

"Tidus! Which way do you want to go?" Rose stopped next to him and looked towards the end of the cavern. There were three different tunnels.

"If we want to cover more ground we'll have to split-" Crag started to say but Tidus already took off running towards to left tunnel.

"I'll take this one! You guys find Kaisa!" Tidus called over his shoulder before he disappeared.

Crag sighed before turning to Rose and Yu. "You guys take the center tunnel, I'll take the right one."

"Right," Rose said as she started to leave with Yu. "Take care of yourself, Crag!" She called over her shoulder before losing sight of him. Even as she said that her unease deepened, it was probably a very bad idea to have split up.

Tidus skidded to a stop when he exited his tunnel, coming out to another spacious cave, his eyes widening when he saw Kían waiting for him. "Kían..."

"Tidus," Kían greeted his younger brother, an analytical look on his face. "I told you not to interfere."

"Like I'd do that when you took Kaisa! Where is she?" Tidus demanded, taking a step closer to his brother. "Why are you doing this?!" Frustration coated his voice as he glared at his brother.

"Your friend is safe... and I'm doing this for Poppy. I'm bringing her back to life." Kían said, knowing straightforwardness worked the best with Tidus.

There was a moment of silence, "... are you stupid?!" Tidus demanded, not believing what his brother was saying. "I'm not as smart as you, but even I know that's a scam!"

"It's not," Kían shot back, he was tired of people telling him it was wrong to bring Poppy back. Especially if that someone was Tidus. "We're working on a spell to bring our loved ones back to life. Tonight we'll get them all back."

"It's a scam!" He said again. "Even if it wasn't... what happened in Plox Village... Poppy wouldn't forgive you for what you've done to others so that she could come back!"

Kían gritted his teeth. "I don't care. She can hate me all she wants, all I need is for her to be alive. Now wait until this is over and I'll give you back your friend."

There was a moment of silence and then, "Sky Devil's Rage," Tidus launched an attack at Kían who half expected it. He easily leaped out of the way and launched his own attack.

"Storm Devil's Blitz," He coated his fist with a mix of wind and lightning, closing the gap between him and Tidus before his younger brother could blink and punching him square stomach. "If you won't stand down, I'll make you. I've worked too hard for this,"

Tidus picked himself back up. "I'm not gonna let you keep my friend hostage and bring back a zombie." He wiped the blood from his lips and lunged at his brother, their fists connecting and sending an intense burst of wind through the cavern.

"She won't be a zombie you idiot," Kían growled. He pivoted on his foot, "Storm Devil's Notus Impact," He kicked Tidus, sending him skidding back.

"Sky Devil's Rage," Tidus blew out another purple-tinted hurricane-like blast from his mouth as he skidded back.

"Storm Devil's Rage," Kían countered with his own bellow, high winds exploded through the cavern once their attacks connected, ruffling both their hair as they glared at each other.

Tidus regained his footing and launched himself at Kían from above, his fists and legs coated with tinted-purpled air. "Sky Devil's Barrage,"

"Storm Devil's Rampage," Kían countered with his own version of Tidus' attack, meeting his brother's fist.

Tidus twisted in the air, aiming a kick for Kían's head. But his brother dodged, grabbing onto Tidus' ankle and swinging him around before throwing him through the air.

Tidus corrected himself midair, "Sky Devil's rage," He tried the attack one more time and as he expected Kían dodged out of the way instead of countering this time. He took his chance, gathering wind under his feet and propelling himself at Kían, tackling him out of the air. "Sky Devil's Claws," He slashed out at Kían, sending him crashing the rest of the way down when his slashes hit him in the chest.

"Sky Devil's Furious Gale," Tidus didn't waste his momentum and kicked down, aiming for Kían's stomach.

However, his brother recovered quicker than he expected, "Storm Devil's Notus Impact," Their feet connected when he kicked up and his attack had slightly more power, sending Tidus stumbling back.

Kían jumped to his feet, "Storm Devil Zephyrus Blade," He created swords out of condensed wind and slashed Tidus across the chest, causing his brother to cry out in pain as he again crashed into the wall. "Storm Devil's Boreas," He swung his arms through the air and followed up with a burst of freezing winds before Tidus could recover, sending him deeper into the wall and freezing the surrounding area.

Kían watched with narrowed eyes as the dust cleared, revealing that Tidus was somehow still standing, battered and bruised with various cuts along his body and thin patches of ice on his arms and legs.

"You can't win," Kían said as he watched his brother struggle to stand straight. "Just let me get Poppy back. You want her back too don't you?"

"I want everyone back... of course I do. Rowan, Silas, Poppy, Mom, Dad and Sis..." Tidus breathed out, meeting his brother's eyes. "But don't you remember what Silas and Rowan always used to tell us? Those we lost can never come back."

"They were wrong," Kían growled, he desperately didn't want to listen to his younger brother. He wanted to see Poppy's smile again. "Poppy will be alive again, I don't care what happens to me."

Tidus sighed, straightening up as he dusted himself off. "And I was supposed to be the dumb one... oh, well, this is bad but," He suddenly grinned, throwing Kían off. "At least I can finally clean up one of your messes instead of the other way around. Sky Devil's Barrage," While he had been talking, he had gathered pressurized wind under his feet. When he was ready, he launched forward, releasing the wind under his feet to give him extra speed.

Kían's eyes widened, he hadn't been expecting him to not lose control of his magic, so he took Tidus' fist straight to the face, and another punch against his jaw before he could recover. He grunted at Tidus' barrage of attacks, letting out a soft growl when Tidus landed a kick against his chest.

"Sky Devil's Piercing Strike," Kían was almost sent flying by Tidus' last attack but he pressed his feet against the rocky ground of the cave, skidding a few feet back. "How do you like that?!" Tidus grinned.

Kían coughed, wiping at the blood that was dripping from his mouth as he glared at Tidus. "I was expecting you to launch yourself into the ceiling..."

"I was too but instead I kicked your ass!" Tidus boasted, "So instead of me staying here, how about you come back to your senses and give Kaisa back."

"You know Tide, I've told you this before but... you tend to act like you've won before actually winning." Kían said darkly. "Sky Devil's Vortex," Kían gathered condensed wind around his hands before clapping them together in front of him, shooting a condensed blast of wind at Tidus, hitting him as he gloated.

"Ahhhh!" Tidus let out a startled and pained cry as he crashed into the ground.

He quickly got back up, blood now dripping from his hairline. "That's cheating! I didn't know you could do that!"

"It's an attack I created after I left you," Kían said charging at Tidus again, but despite looking unsteady Tidus was ready, he blocked Kían's punch.

"Sky Devil's Burning Fang!" Tidus slashed out with both of his hands, countering his brother's punch, one hand wrapping around Kían's wrist while the other grabbed onto his shoulder. "Sky Devil's Head Crusher!" He headbutted Kían as hard as he could, causing them both to stumble back, gripping their heads.

"What the hell?!" Kían demanded, he drew his hand back and saw blood. "How hard is your head?!"

Tidus laughed even though he felt slightly dizzy from the impact. "I-I made a new move too," He stumbled before straightening up. "... On the fly..." He then charged, coating his entire body with a mix of wind and Sky Devil slayer magic, "Sky Devil's Launcher!" He jumped high up and kicked out with both his feet, propelling himself with the wind magic.

Kían easily jumped over him, looking unimpressed when Tidus did lose control of his wind magic this time, sending him flying head-over-heel into the ground. "You lost focus again."

"Shut up! I don't need to be lectured by you of all people!" He snapped. "Especially not someone who has lost his way!"

"I'm not lost. As long as there is even the smallest chance that Poppy can be brought to life, then that's the path I'll follow."

The brothers launched themselves at each other at the same time, their arms and legs coated in their magic as they started to brawl.

When one landed a crushing punch the other would return with a kick of their own. On and on it went like this until both of them were thoroughly bruised and bleeding.

They both struck out, punching each other across the face before being pushed back.

"Not bad..." Tidus breathed, a grin on his face.

"You've gotten stronger," Kían acknowledged.

They were both bruised and bleeding at this point but neither of them planned to concede the fight.

"Sky Devil's... Rage!"

"Storm Devil's... Rage!"

Clang! Clang! Clang! Clang!

Crag clashed bladed with a boy around his age, he was dressed in a simple blue tunic and black, pants, his eyes as intense as his own.

The boy had been waiting for him when he exited the tunnel and had promptly attacked him with a metal sword he had created. A metal-make mage. It was a shame since Crag had been eager for a re-match against the Steeled-body mage.

"I'm Alaric." The boy finally said, pushing them apart. "And you are?"

"Why do you want to know?" Crag asked his entire attention on his opponent, looking for an opening.

"It's proper to know the name of your opponent." Alaric grinned, "But if you don't want to tell me, I'll just remember you as the man who got in the way of my reunion with Mother." He launched himself at Crag again, their blades creating sparks as they crossed.

"Applied magic: Heavy X Acceleration," Crag channeled magic through his sword, feeling it get heavier as he slashed out with greater speed, catching Alaric by surprise by the sudden heaviness of his sword and the extra power it held.

He pushed Alaric back by several feet, destroying his metal sword in the process.

"Not bad," Alaric said, putting his hands together, "Metal-make: Twin Swords," He created two new swords of gleaming metal before launching himself at Crag once more.

He was surprisingly more skilled with two swords than one, he was also faster than before but Crag parried his attacks with ease, twisting out of the way when Alaric stabbed at him with both swords, his own sword swinging out as he did so, certain that he would be able to hit flesh, but Alaric created a shield in time, blocking him.

"Tsk," Crag put some distance between them.

"Metal-make: Arrows" Alaric launched dozens of metal arrows at him and Crag smirked.

"Applied Magic: Wind x Ice," An icy mist started to surround his blade and he swung out, creating a slash of icy winds that froze over and destroyed all of Alaric's arrows before hitting him square in the chest, freezing the front of his tunic. Alaric gaped at him in surprise, but he still stood up determined, hands clasped together in front of him.

"Metal-Make: Bull," A large metal bull charged out of the magic circle he created.

Crag jumped high into the air, flipping so that he was positioned over it, "Applied Magic: Heavy x Enhanced," He swung down, cutting through the bull with ease due to the applied magic he used: heavy to bring a bit extra power into the strike and enhance to sharpen the blade and make it more durable. He cut through the metal bull with ease but hadn't expected the bull to kick him in the side before it was fully destroyed, sending him flying against the cave wall.

"Metal-make: Sparrows," A swarm of sparrows surrounded him as he stood back up, and he immediately countered.

"Applied magic: Fire," Fire enveloped his blade and he continuously cut down each sparrow as they flew at him, melting and burning every single one of the birds until it was just him and Alaric.

The boy gritted his teeth, looking frustrated that all his attacks were useless against the swordsman.

"Metal-Make: Spear," He created a metal spear and charged at him, and Crag parried the strike again, meeting the metal creation readily.

He blocked and parried each of Alaric's thrusts with practiced movements, his blue eyes never leaving his opponent, like they were the only two in the world, and nothing but this battle existed.

"Applied Magic: Lightning," Crag coated his sword with lighting and swung out, meeting the lance head-on. The lightning traveled through the metal and into Alaric who cried out, dropping his spear as he stumbled back, falling to his knees. "I thought you'd all be on the same level as the steel guy." Crag mused.

"Shut up!" Alaric slammed his hand onto the ground, causing spikes of metal to burst through the rocky floor, catching Crag by surprise, he dodged, but two of the spikes still managed to scratch his left side and leg.

Alaric pushed himself to his feet, "Metal-Make: Sword." This time he created one broadsword. "Just cause I'm not on Master Kyros' level doesn't mean I can't take you." He held the sword out in front of him before charging.

His sword clashed repeatedly against Crag's before he twisted out of the way and kicked Alaric in the side, causing him to stumble but he quickly regained his footing and charged again, clipping Crag's shoulder with the sword before Crag parried his attack.

"Applied Magic: Lightning." Crag charged forward and struck Alaric's sword with his own. The lightning traveled through the sword and once again to Alaric's body, giving him an extreme shock, and causing him to crumple to the ground.

When Alaric didn't get up, Crag sheathed his sword and made his way out of the cavern, hoping to run into the man he had fought before.

"Ahhhhh!" Rose felt like she was going to be sick as she was swung around by the tentacle of an ink octopus Elaine created. "Yu do something!" She cried as she swung past him.

"Like what?" He asked, ducking out the reach of another tentacle, this was crazy.

"Paint Magic: Water," Elaine held a large paintbrush and swung it through the air with blue paint appearing, the paint changed to water and slashed at Yu, drenching him as it shot him against the wall.

"Yu!" Rose cried out, struggling in the ink octopus's clutches, "Ah!" She let out a short shriek when Rat cut through the tentacle holding her. The brown-haired spirit twirled the long naginata around her body, slicing through the tentacles of ink that tried to reach her before jumping up into the air and slicing the Octopus in half, causing ink to splash through the air.

"Yu, are you alright?" Rose ran to help him up, pulling him to his feet as Rat stood in front of them protectively.

"Paint: Troop of Ghouls," Elaine used her oversized paint brush and quickly painted four ghouls that dripped with slime to life.

"Yu, Rose, stay on guard," Rat said, swinging her naginata around and cutting through two of the ghouls, looking pleased when they cut into thirds, thanks to her doubling magic.

"Right!" Rose pulled out her own retractable Bo staff and swung down on a ghoul, but she missed and she stumbled to the floor instead, looking up in time to see Rat slash through it before it could attack her. "... I missed..."

Yu on the other hand was studying Elaine, hoping to find a weakness that Elaine may have, he looked her over and only her, fixating so much that he didn't notice the last ghoul lunge at him from behind before it was too late.

"Yu!" Rat quickly covered him, jumping over him and thrusting her blade into the top of the ghoul's head causing it to scream before it exploded. "Pay attention!"

"I was looking for a weakness," Yu explained.

"Finding a weakness only works if you live long enough to use it against them. In a fight, you have to be aware of your surroundings." Rat chided.

"Right..." Yu rubbed his head sheepishly, it wasn't the first time Rat had scolded him for being too fixated on one thing during battle, hopefully, it would be a habit he broke soon.

"Art Magic: Toy Soldiers," Elaine switched her large paintbrush out for a pencil and quickly drew two platoons of toy soldiers that charged at them much to the mages' frustration.

"Geez! Give it a rest already!" Rose cried out, trying to smack the soldiers away from her, but unlike the octopus and ghouls, they were nimble and able to move more freely. One dodged out of the way of her staff and tackled her to the ground.

She let out a sharp yelp and that's when a vision overcame her:

[Rat was swinging around her naginata, easily cutting through the lead-made toy soldiers and Rose was helping her, Yu had just flown over Elaine, who ducked to avoid him]

"Rose!" Rose snapped out of her vision as Yu called to her. He must have grabbed her staff when she was in her vision because he was using it to block a toy soldier's bayonet. "Are you okay? Did you see anything useful?" He was pushed back, the staff knocked out of his hands, but Rat was quickly there, cutting the soldier in half.

The staff landed next to Rose, and she grabbed it. "Not really!" Rose said, barely parrying a soldier's saber and stumbling, her foot twisting slightly. These soldiers were more durable than the paint creations had been.

She swung to hit a soldier in the head and missed, swinging herself around as she did so since she used too much force.

Elaine laughed when she saw Rose miss her soldiers. "It's no use, you can keep fighting all you want, but I'll just make more." She ducked down and Yu flew over her, he had been attempting to tackle her to the ground but she had sensed him. "Nice try."

Rose watched the scene happen and whimpered... that was the most unhelpful vision I've ever had...

Rose was still chuckling when she replaced the pencil with a pen, "Art Magic: Octopus,"

Another ink octopus came to life, wrapping its tentacle around Rose before she could react. "Not again!" She screamed as it started to swing her around.

Kaisa ran through the connected caves, looking around desperately. After Kían had left, she was able to pick the lock of her handcuffs, freeing herself. The only problem was... she was lost and had no idea where Kían had gone... or where the stupid ritual to resurrect the dead was going to take place... damn it all.

She had just reached a large cave when she threw herself to the floor, avoiding a near-transparent green blade that flew over her head; she glanced up to see that it made large gashes into the wall.

"Well, well... it looks like Kían's little pet escaped." Veiss appeared from the shadows, smiling wickedly at her. "Since he's not around looks like I'll have to be the one who punishes you."

Kaisa shot to her feet, "Yeah right," She took him in cautiously, feeling uneasy. He was a creep, especially if Kían had felt like he had to keep her from his view. "You're the one who's going to be punished."

Veiss chuckled, "Slice n' dice!" He suddenly launched green-tinted near-transparent blades at her from his elbows, the blades leaving deep gauges in the rocks as they flew around her.

She flipped through the air, twisting her body and arms around, "Blossom spiral," She shot out a spiral of fire blossoms at Veiss, frowning when he easily cut through them, a large grin on his face. "Blossom Burst," She caused the remaining orange petals that floated around him to explode, throwing him off his feet.

"Not bad," Veiss said, licking the blood from his lips, charging at her once she landed back on the ground. "Slice 'em' up!" He created two large green-tinted blades at his elbows before they shattered into many miniature pieces, launching at Kaisa in hundreds of tiny blades.

"Fire Blossom: Shield," Kaisa immediately created a thick, swirling shield of fire blossoms in front of her. Many of the shards were stopped but to her surprise, about a dozen or so broke through, cutting into her skin and drawing blood.

Veiss laughed when he saw the cuts on her face, "Did you think your fire petals would stop my blades?!"

"Fire Blossom: Burning Vortex," Instead of answering, Kaisa threw her arms into the air and rotated, her body, twisting her arms as she did so, a vortex of fire petals burst from the ground, enveloping Veiss in flames as they carried him up from the ground. "Blossom Bur-" Kaisa cut off, her eyes widening when Veiss easily slashed through her petals dispersing them through the air and cutting through her vortex to free himself, looking singed but mostly unharmed.

"Nice try," Veiss laughed, "Meat grinder!" He created something akin to a large throwing star made up of five green-transparent triangles that spun fast and dangerously in his palm. He grinned one more time at her before throwing it.

Kaisa's eyes widened, "Fire Blossom: Shield!" She felt the impact of the blades as they cut through her shield, scattering fire petals through the air as Veiss laughed.

Dayne stood by himself in the cave where his allies had previously gathered, staring up at the blood-red moon that shone above him through the opening of the cave, the red moonlight hitting the glass container that was flowing with magical energy, causing the energy in the container to glow brightly before turning a brilliant blood red.

A wicked smile formed on Dayne's face as he watched the energy shift. "The Blood moon is here," He murmured to himself. He thought to his allies, fighting against the guild mages so that their goals could be reached. "... you'll be reunited with your loved ones soon enough."

He watched intently as the magic started to float out of the glass bowl in thick, bright red strands the color of spilled blood, slowly forming into a magic circle.

"And... I'll finally be rid of all of you..."

And that's the end of that chapter! Hope you liked it! Lots of fights in this one.

As always, let me know what you think in the reviews!
