CHAPTER FOUR
Buffy tried on the dresses that Dawn and Willow had picked out. Dawn chose a princess style gown with a big poofy skirt and crystal embellishments on the bodice. Although Buffy liked it, it wasn't the one.
Willow's gown was next it was a mermaid style dress closely fitted in the bodice all the way down to the knee, where it dramatically flared out. The girls determined that it was too much like Anya's wedding dress and they didn't want to bring up bad memories for Xander that dress too was out.
"Okay, so we have this dress" said the attendant holding up a simpler gown "Would you like to try it?"
Buffy nodded enthusiastically.
The attendant helped Buffy into the gown and laced her in it. Buffy looked at herself in the mirror and studied the dress, The dress had a simple and elegant lace design with spaghetti straps with a flowy, pleated floor length skirt.
Buffy smiled as she admired the dress.
"Well I'd say this dress is the one wouldn't you?" the attendant smiled "Let's go show your ladies"
Buffy left the dressing room and walked proudly towards Willow and Dawn.
"Oh my god" said Dawn bursting into tears.
"Is that a good reaction?" Asked Buffy
"The best" Dawn choked back tears
"You look so beautiful Buffy" said Willow
"You think so?" Asked Buffy
"This is the dress!" cried Dawn

The girls burst through the door excitedly.
"Well hey" said Daniel getting up from the couch "Good shopping trip?"
"Oh the best" Buffy beamed, rushing over to kiss him.
"That's great sweetie" he smiled
"And I even got my shoes" Buffy said excitedly
"So do I get a sneak peek of the dress?" He asked
"Uh-uh" said Buffy passing the dress bag to Willow "That is under lock and key!"
Willow rushed out of the room to stow away the dress.
"You're glowing" said Daniel moving a stray piece of hair from her face
"Am I?" She smiled
"Definite glowage" he smiled back
"Careful you're starting to speak like me now"
He laughed as he cupped her face and kissed her softly.
Xander walked into the room, his face was pale and looked like he may throw up "Uh sorry to break up the make out session but Buffy… Giles wants to see you"
"What is it Xander?" She asked
He didn't speak another word just left the room, Buffy and Daniel followed him hand in hand.
"S'up Giles" asked Buffy sitting down in the meeting room with Daniel at her side
The whole gang were there. Their weekly briefings were usually to go over training the baby slayers and any evil that may be afoot. But Buffy sensed this was different.
"What's going on?" Asked Buffy
She looked over at Willow who looked unusually worried.
"Seriously what's going on?" Buffy panicked
"It's Angel…" said Giles
"Angel? What happened?" Buffy's panic had really set in
"We've received word that Los Angeles is currently under siege" said Giles
"But he's okay right?" Asked Buffy getting up from her seat
"It seems that the city is under control of Wolfram and Hart, they've unleashed hell on earth" said Giles
Buffy paced the room "But Angel was working for them right? So what are we saying here?" asked Buffy
"We've gotta face facts Buffy… Angelus is back" said Xander
"Are you sure? I mean Andrew… you said that he didn't seem all that evil when you went to collect Dana?" Buffy stammered
"He didn't" said Andrew "But he was their CEO"
Buffy sighed heavily "Okay… I need to go there, uh assemble the girls that have been here the longest I'll need them. And Faith I'll need her too"
"She's making her way there now" said Dawn
"Willow I need you, the ensouling spell" said Buffy
"He might be too far gone for that" said Giles
"We have to try" said Buffy
"Of course" said Willow
"There's something else" said Giles
Buffy looked up to the ceiling and sighed "Of course there is"
"It's Spike" Giles said softly
"Spike" Buffy whispered
"He's alive"
