Episode 136: Whichever Way the Wind Blows
Mew and her friends continue on their journey with Blackthorn City being their next destination, and Mew's last gym match. Right now, the gang are walking along the path on a nice day.
Misty happily sighs, "Is it today a nice day?"
"I know. It looks so nice out here," Jen says.
Suddenly Pikachu, Eevee, and the other Pokemon sense something.
"What's wrong, sparkle?" Misty asks.
"Pikachu? Eevee? Do you sense something?" Mew asks.
Soon, Pikachu and Eevee hurry off, and soon find three Oddish, and they're hurt and exhausted.
Pikachu calls out, "Pika Pika!" (Over here, guys!)
"Look," Molly says.
"They're three Oddish, and they look like they're very hurt," Mew says.
Mew kneels down, "Please wake up, what happened to you?"
The three Oddish groan in pain.
Sometime later, Mew and Brock help heal the three Oddishes, but still look sickly
"They do look pretty sick, but I just might have something that'll help," Brock says and hands out some food, "Here. Want some special Pokemon food, little guys?"
The three Oddish agree and eat up.
"Glad to see they're feeling better," Mew says.
"But I wonder what made them so sick in the first place," Tomo wonders.
Mew has an idea, "Hey Misty, maybe your Gloom can talk to them."
"Good idea," Misty says. Then calls out her Pokemon, "Come on out, Gloom."
Soon, Misty's Gloom appears.
"Gloom, can you ask the Oddish what happened?" Misty asks.
"Gloom," (Okay.) Gloom answers.
Gloom turns to the three Oddish and asks, "Gloom Gloom." (What happened? Are you okay?)
The three Oddish explain their situation.
Gloom turns to the others and says, "Gloom Gloom Gloom." (These three Oddish ran off after a fight broke out. It just passed the hill."
"A fight? Past the hill?" Mew questions.
"Let's go take a look," Brock says.
"Okay," Everyone agrees.
Everyone heads over the hill and sees something.
"Wow! Check that out!" Mew says.
Everyone looks and sees a giant tree in the middle of the field.
"This has gotta be the biggest tree I've ever seen!" Jen says.
"The Oddish must live here," Misty says.
"I bet it's at least 150 years old," Brock says.
Soon, the group hears something. That being an arguing group of Vileplume and Bellossom, but it's not long before the conflict escalates to fighting.
"I wonder why the Vileplume and Bellossom are fighting," Molly asks.
Pikachu and Eevee try to break it up, but get knocked back and out.
"Are you both, okay?" Mew asks, worried.
"Pika." (We're okay.) Pikachu answers.
"Eevee." (Barely.) Eevee answers.
"We need to break this fight, and fast," Mew says. She then calls out, "Bayleef, I choose you!"
And Bayleef comes out.
Mew then says, "Bayleef, you gotta go and separate the Vileplume and the Bellossom!
Bayleef uses her Vine Whip to separate the two groups.
"Alright! Great job, Bayleef," Mew says.
"Bay, bay," (No, prob.) Bayleef says.
Mew approaches and says, "Now, just apologize to each other and be friends again."
However, the Bellossom and the Vileplume refuse to make up and walk away from each other."
"Oh, boy. That really felt sincere," Brock replies.
Suddenly, they hear a voice, "Hello!"
Everyone looks to the right and sees a young man in a lab coat coming towards them.
He calls out, ""I want to thank you all for stopping the Pokémon from fighting with one another," then turns to the three Oddish, "What about you guys? You alright?"
The three Oddish answers, "Oddish Odd." (We're just fine.)
"That's good. Don't take off like that, you really had me worried this time," The man says.
Then turns to Mew and the others, "They seem much better, did you folks do something for them?"
"Uh huh," The girls answer.
"They looked really weak, so I gave them some Pokémon food," Brock says.
"Well, I'm thankful that you guys knew exactly what to do. I'm Steven, and I'm here doing research on grass Pokémon," The man, Steven says.
Mew says, "Hi, Steven. I'm Mew."
"And I'm Misty," Misty says.
"I'm Brock. How you doing?" Brock replies.
"I'm Tomo," Tomo says.
"I'm Jen, nice to meet you," Jen says.
"And I'm Molly. Hi," Molly days.
Then Mew says, "I'm just wondering, why were those Vileplume and Bellossom fighting like that? It seemed kinda strange."
"Yes. Such hostile behavior is quite unusual," Steven says. He then explains, "Lots of grass Pokemon live here, not only because of the river that runs nearby, but also because this area gets lots of sunlight. Therefore, Oddish and Gloom's evolved form, Bellossom, and also Gloom's other evolved form, Vileplume, have settled here. And they divided all this area up into different territories."
The group soon arrives at Steven's house.
"Wow. There sure are a lot of them," Tomo says.
"Yes, that's why I decided to do my research here, because there are so many Pokemon to study," Steven says.
"Strange that there are both Vileplume and Bellossom," Brock says.
"What's so strange about that, Brock?" Jen asks.
Then Brock explains, "Oddish become Gloom by battling and gaining experience, but, Gloom have to have Sun Stones before they can branch off and evolve into Bellossom. But in order to branch off and evolve into Vileplume, Gloom needs a Leaf Stone."
"Yeah. I see your point," Mew says.
"Branched evolution," Steven says.
Misty then turns to her Gloom, "You're right. My Gloom could evolve to either one with an Evolution Stone."
"You're right. Gloom evolve into either Bellossom or Vileplume, depending on whether you use a Sun Stone, or a Leaf Stone on it," Mew says.
"I get it," Molly says.
Then Misty says, "But if that's true, then there must be an awful a lot of Sun Stones and Leaf Stones around here, huh, Steven?"
"Yes, but the stones are in the wind," Steven says.
Everyone: The wind?" The group says, confused.
"Hey, maybe I can show you, the wind's picking up," Steven says, looking at the weather vane, "Northeast wind. That means Gloom will evolve into a Vileplume."
The group becomes puzzled to hear it, until they spot two Gloom evolve into Vileplume.
"Vileplume, just like you predicted, Steven," Mew says, amazed, "How'd you know that was gonna happen?"
"What does the wind have to do with evolving?" Misty asks.
"There are a number of things I still don't understand, but I know northeasterly winds cause Gloom to evolve into Vileplume, and northwest wind makes them Bellossom," Steven answers.
Everyone is surprised to hear it.
"They evolve depending on how the wind blows?" Brock questions.
"I know it's bizarre, but I have a theory. I think the northeasterly wind contains traces of Leaf Stone, and the northwesterly winds contain trace amounts of Sun Stone," Steven says.
"Is it possible for wind to carry stone?" Jen asks.
"Actually, trace amounts of stone would be like dust in the wind, so it could happen. But would it be enough to cause evolution?" Brock replies.
"Perhaps," Steven answers, "Small amounts built up over time act exactly the same way as a whole stone would."
"Wow! That's really cool!" Tomo says, amazed.
"Like a magic wind!" Misty says, "That's so great! It's like having something out of a fairy tale come to life."
But Steven says, ""Except it's a real problem for the Pokémon. The wind direction is causing an imbalance of power between Bellossom and Vileplume."
Right on cue, some Bellossom and Vileplume start going at it.
"Oh no!" Mew panics.
Soon, the Vileplume start using Stun Spore.
"The Vileplume are using Stun Spore!" Brock exclaims.
Steven then comes back, wearing a face mask, "Quick! Put these on, everyone!"
"Thanks," Mew says, grabbing some and running back the other way, "Bayleef, use Razor Leaf!"
Bayleef does so and stops the battle.
"Way to go! Now use Vine Whip!" Mew calls out.
Bayleef does so, separating the two parties before they walk away in a huff.
Steven walks to Mew, "Thank you. It sure is nice to have someone around here to help out. I've broken up an awful lot of these fights myself, but the peace never lasts very long before it all starts up again. And most of the Oddish got sick of all the fighting and went away. There are hardly any of them left."
"That's why the three Oddish looked beat up," Molly says.
Then Mew says, "There's gotta be some way we can get Bellossom and Vileplume to live peacefully together."
"We have to try cause the Oddish also need our help," Misty says.
"Bay, bay!" (Let's do it!) Bayleef agrees.
Meanwhile, Team Rocket is seen having a picnic.
"What'd ya pack for da picnic, Jess?" Meowth asks
"Those little pinwheel thingies, I hope," James says.
"I ordered them, but, for once, I think we should be thankful for what we have now. Dig in!" Jessie says.
But before they can start to eat, they hear a noise.
"Dat ruckus is ruining my ambiance," Meowth says.
"Yes, it's a real mood spoiler," James says.
They look and see a row of Vileplume staring down a row of Bellossom.
Meowth notices, "It's Bellossom…"
"And Vileplume," James says.
Both sides charge and battle, with Team Rocket caught in the middle, though Meowth goes flying.
"What is this?!" Jessie asks, frightened.
"It's Stun Spore!" James answers.
Jessie and James soon collapse, paralyzed, while Meowth covers his mouth and nose.
"What's dat smell?!" Meowth exclaims.
Meowth sees his teammates paralyzed.
"When Stun Spore plays its mighty tricks…" Jessie says, dazed.
"Salveyo Weed is the only fix," James says, also dazed.
"I don't have any on me," Meowth says, thinking of the plant, "But I can look around for some, I suppose," Meowth looks over yonder and spots Steven's house, "A convenient store! How convenient!"
Meowth heads up to Steven's house.
"Dis looks like a Pokémon laboratory," Meowth says and peeks in, "Dey should have all kinds of medicines in dere. Multi vitamins, tongue polish, zit remover," He then spots something, "Huh? What's dat?"
What Meowth finds is a jar of Salveyo Weed, Dat's da stuff! Salveyo Weed! Got it!"
Meowth heads back to his teammates, who are knocked out.
"Hey. Time for your medicine," Meowth says and gives his teammates the medicine.
In no time, both Jessie and James are back on their feet.
"Wide awake and ready to do evil!" Jessie says.
"A little twist here, work out a kink there," James says.
"You know, dey was less annoying sound asleep," Meowth says, stunned.
Jessie crosses her arms with a frown, "Who do those Vileplume and Bellossom think they are, gassing us in the middle of our picnic like that?"
"I didn't even get my tiny pinwheel and now I'm hungry and very cranky!" James says, just as angry.
Then Meowth says, "We could send da boss some Vileplume and Bellossom."
"Well, the boss wouldn't care about some grass Pokémon," Jessie points out.
"He might if we sent a whole lot of dem!" Meowth says.
He then explains as he fantasizes, "Picture da boss waking up in da morning to see Bellossom dancing in front of him. And can't you imagine just what he'll say? 'What a delight to awaken to.' Around da room will also be many Vileplume, decorative as well as soothing in deir plantness. Finally, da garden will be full of Oddish and Gloom, festive yet immobile. Surrounded by all dese grass Pokémon, da boss will be completely relaxed, and he will says; 'For having brought to me all these Pokémon, Meowth and his friends are truly model members of Team Rocket.'"
At the end, Jessie and James nod in agreement.
"Alright, so let's put this plan into action!" Jessie happily says and cheers, "Yay!"
"Yay!" The boys also cheer.
Meanwhile…
Mew and the others arrive at the tree with Steven.
"From what I was able to piece together, this gigantic tree was the original cause of the fighting between the Bellossom and the Vileplume," Steven says.
Everyone becomes puzzled.
"How can a tree cause a fight?" Tomo asks.
Steven explains, "Well, you can see how big it is, right? It's the only source of shade anywhere around. In the morning, the Bellossoms' area doesn't get any sunlight, so they go to the Vileplume's side and, of course, they all end up fighting. Then as the day moves on and the sun moves across the sky, the Vileplume's area is in the shade, so they all go over to the other side and there's more fighting."
"They all need the sunlight," Tomo says.
"Then they'll probably keep on fighting forever," Misty says.
"There has to be some way we can stop them," Brock says.
Suddenly, the Oddish start moving their leaves.
Steven notices, "More wind! But where is it coming from?"
Everyone looks and sees the weathervane point northwest.
"The northwest!" Mew says.
"That turns Gloom into Bellossom," Misty says.
Right on cue, three Gloom evolve into Bellossom.
"And now they way outnumber the Vileplume!" Brock says.
"Gloom Gloom." (Oh my) Misty's Gloom says.
Suddenly, Misty's Gloom begins to glow as well.
Misty is the first to notice, "Gloom!"
"Misty, your Gloom is evolving!" Brock says.
Soon, Misty's Gloom evolves into Bellossom.
"Your Gloom evolve into Bellossom," Steven says.
"Must have been the Northwest Wind," Mew says.
"How do you feel, Bellossom?" Misty asks.
"Bell Bellossom Bell Bell," (I feel good, but it was unexpected) Misty's Bellossom says.
"She said she's good, but was unexpected," Mew says.
Suddenly, some other Bellossom join the three newly-evolved ones and attack the Vileplume.
"The side that's just gotten the new members is the one that usually starts the fight," Steven says
The Vileplume start using Stun Spore again.
"Not Stun Spore again!" Misty panics.
Mew calls out, "Don't worry. Bayleef, stop them just like you did before!"
Bayleef charges in and uses Razor Leaf to do so.
Then Mew says, "Now, Bayleef, Vine Whip!
Bayleef uses her vines to separate the two warring parties.
"Come on! It's wrong for you guys to fight all the time!" Mew shouts.
But both sides walk away in a huff.
"What are we gonna do? Seems hopeless," Misty asks, worried.
"Bell Bell Bellossom," (I know. This is getting ridiculous.) Misty's Bellossom says.
"Bellossom says this is getting ridiculous," Mew says.
"I agree," Misty says with a nod.
However, they noticed other Vileplume and Bellossom standing side by side.
"Hey, look at that," Brock says.
Misty approaches them, "I'm so glad there are some of you who aren't interested in fighting. If only all of the others could learn to get along as well as you do."
However, Mew notices the three don't seem to be happy.
Back with Team Rocket…
Meowth says, "Meowth: Foist, we have to build ourselves a Bellossom robot to collect all of da Bellossom!
But James says, "No, it would obviously be better to create a Vileplume robot and collect all of the Vileplume!"
"Why do I always have to be the brilliant one?! We build a single giant robot and grab them all at once!"Jessie says.
Suddenly, they hear another skirmish in the making.
"That doesn't sound good," Team Rocket panics.
Both sides charge in and go at it with Team Rocket caught in the middle.
"Wobb-uffet!" (Be right back!) Wobbuffet says, and is dragged into the rumble.
Back to Mew and the others…
Togepi and Misty's Bellossom are playing with the Oddish, while the others try to think of a plan.
"So, we agree that we have to do something to help, but how do we make Vileplume and Bellossom get along with each other?" Mew replies, thinking of an idea.
"What if we get them all together to apologize?" Misty suggests.
"But we have to teach them that, in the long run, fighting doesn't solve anything," Brock says.
"That seems impossible," Tomo says.
"You're right. I'm stumped," Mew says.
"Me too," Jen says.
Suddenly, Steven calls out, "You guys!"
Everyone looks at Steven.
"It's bad news. There's a big storm headed right for us!" Steven says.
"How big of a storm?" Mew asks.
Everyone heads inside and sees Steven's computer pointing out the storm.
"It looks like there won't be much rain, however, we can expect very high winds," Steven says.
"Which direction will the winds be coming from?" Mew asks.
"From the northeast," Steven answers.
"That means lots more Vileplume will evolve and then they'll outnumber the Bellossom!" Tomo says.
"And then when they fight, the Vileplume will win?" Jen asks, worried.
"That seems to be the way it's going," Brock says.
"You know, it wouldn't necessarily be the worst thing," Steven says.
Misty is not happy to hear it, "How can you say that? You really want the Bellossom to lose?"
"Bell!" (That's right!) Bellossom angrily adds.
"All I'm saying is that if the Bellossoms' habitat shrinks, it's not the end of the world. It would certainly be worth it if it would mean an end to all of the fighting," Steven says.
"I guess," Misty replies.
"And, if the fighting stops, these Oddish will finally have a safe place to live and grow, too," Steven says.
But Misty says, "Something about it still doesn't seem fair. Why should one side win and the other side lose when neither one is any better than the other?"
"I don't see what else we can do about it," Steven says.
Bayleef looks worried.
Mew says, "That's right. Since you're a grass Pokemon, too, you're worried about the Bellossom."
Bayleef confirms.
Outside, storm clouds gather outside and the wind blows fiercely across the countryside. Three Oddish are seen caught in the powerful wind and trying to keep under their shelter, as are the Gloom in the area, when five of them suddenly evolve into Vileplume.
Back inside Steven's house, everyone watches.
The Vileplume are evolving already. With more to come," Steven says.
Suddenly, the computer beeps, getting Steven's attention.
And he doesn't like the results, "Oh no! The wind just changed!"
"Where's it coming from?" Mistu asks.
"Now it's from the northwest!" Steven answers.
"So instead, we'll have more Bellossom evolve!" Brock says.
"That oughta make the two sides equal again," Tomo says.
"But, is that good?" Molly asks.
Back outside, five more of the Gloom evolve, this time into Bellossom as the weathervane goes from northeast to northwest and back again.
Then Steven says, "Oh, my! Look at that! Now the wind keeps on switching back and forth from northeast to northwest every few minutes! If that keeps up and the Bellossom and Vileplume keep growing in number, we're going to have a major battle on our hands!"
"How are we gonna stop them?!" Mew asks, worried.
After a while, the storm blows over and clears up.
But out by the tree, the war is brewing as the Bellossom and Vileplume line up for battle as our heroes rush in to stop the war before it begins.
Steven shouts, "Bellossom and Vileplume! Stop this insanity before it's too late! Fighting won't get you anywhere!"
But neither side will listen to reason.
"You're only going to hurt each other!" Misty calls out.
"You have to try and work together!" Mew says.
"Bay, bay!" (Coexist!) Bayleef calls out.
Both sides prepare to attack.
"Masks on, here comes Stun Spore," Steven says
"Pikachu, Eevee, take the Oddish somewhere safe," Mew says.
Both sides charge.
Bellossom feels upset and angry at the two two groups.
Mew muffles, "Okay, Bayleef, one more time! Stop them!"
But before Bayleef can do anything, bombs fall from the sky.
"Now what's happening?!" Misty exclaims.
And soon, the Team Rocket motto appears, and the Team Rocket Balloon lowers down, revealing Team Rocket to be wearing helium masks.
Jessie: (muffled)
Prepare for trouble! Funny you should ask.
James: (muffled)
And make it double in a groovy gas mask!
Jessie:
To protect the world from devastation!
James:
To unite all peoples within our nation!
Jessie:
To denounce the evils of truth and love!
James:
To extend our reach to the stars above!
Jessie:
Jessie!
James:
James!
Jessie:
Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light!
James:
Surrender now, or prepare to fight!
Meowth:
Meowth! Dat's right!
Wobbuffet:
Wobb-uffet! ("All, too true!")
"Team Rocket!" Mew and her friends shout.
Team Rocket lands on the ground floor.
"We're here to gather up these Pokemon! To, uh, help the grass, you might say," Jessie says.
"What?!" Mew questions.
"How are you going to do that?!" Misty asks.
"I'll tell you how. With an incredible Vileplume of Doom robot!" James answers.
"Vileplume of Doom?" Tomo questions.
"Not really," James deflates.
Then Meowth says, "With a huge, nuclear powered, Bellossom wrangler robot!"
"Bellossom wrangler robot?" Jen questions.
"I wish," Meowth says, disappointed.
But Jessie says, "Actually, it's a multi-flexible. digital-analogue, recovery device," and holds out what seems to be a large bag or something.
"A what?" Mew questions, dumbfounded.
"That looks just like a bag," Molly says.
"Okay, so it's not exactly hi-tech!" James shouts.
Meowth screams, "What do you want?! We used up our whole budget on anti-Stun Spore protection!"
Suddenly, both the Bellossom and Vileplume charge.
"Not again!" Team Rocket panics.
"Here they come!" Jen says.
Jessie holds out the bag, "Perfect! Climb on in!"
But both sides collide and Meowth is sent flying.
"Have we caught any yet?" Jessie asks.
"Don't think so!" James cries out.
Mew and the others simply watch as the fight continues on.
"What should we do? We can't just stand here and let them fight like this," Misty asks, worried.
"Actually, that's exactly what we have to do, Misty," Brock says.
"Brock is right," Steven agrees, "We need to let them see for themselves that no matter how hard they fight, in the end, it won't get them anywhere."
In the scuffle, Jessie and James try to nab some of them.
"Use all the Stun Spore you want, it doesn't effect us!" Jessie says.
"We've got ourselves a great defense!" James says.
They both quickly realize that the nozzles from the tanks to their masks have been disconnected.
Jessie and James panic, "Uh oh. We're knocked again!"
Jessie and James fall to the ground, paralyzed as both sides continue to fight. When the dust clears, all the Pokemon are laid out as Meowth gets up to inspect the carnage.
He soon says, "Next time, we use da robot."
Soon, Mew and her friends approach the scene.
"Well, do all of you understand now?" Mew questions.
"All of this fightning didn't solve a thing, you just hurt one another," Brock says.
"And take a look at those guys over there," Misty says.
Then turns to the three Bellossom and three Vileplume from before
"They're also Vileplume and Bellossom, just like you are. But they've chosen not to fight. See? They're only interested in getting along with each other," Misty says.
But Meowth says, "Well, you see, not exactly. Da Bellossom dere are staying out of da fight cause dey really want to become Vileplume. And does Vileplume are saying what dey really wanted was to become Bellossom."
They all nod.
"Are you sure?" Jen asks
"Actually, what Meowth says is true, and they confirmed it," Mew says, "Thanks to the wind, they end up evolving the opposite of what they wanted. So now, they can't bring themselves to fight against the Pokemon they hoped to become."
"Yeah, dey're just having an identity crisis," Meowth says.
The Bellossom and Vileplume confirm Meowth and Mew's statement.
"I didn't realize that you Pokemon actually had an opinion about which way you would to evolve," Steven says, a little surprised.
"And I didn't realize Meowth knew what an identity crisis was," Brock says.
But Misty says, "But, wait. You didn't become Vileplume because of the wind, it's because you were meant to be Vileplume. And I'm sure that you Bellossom were meant to become Bellossom, too. There's always a good reason for the way things turn out.
Misty's Bellossom steps in, "Bell Bellossom. Bell Bellossom Bell Bellossom Bell Bell Bellossom Bellossom . (Misty's right. I didn't expect myself to evolve into a Bellossom when I first came here, or rather, not sure what to evolve to, but it's possible that I'm just meant to be one.)
"What Bellossom says?" Jen asks.
"The red haired twerpette's Bellossom says that she same goes with her. She didn't expect herself to evolve when she got here or rather, not sure what to evolve to at all, but comes to terms that it's just the way it's meant to be," Meowth says.
Bellossom continues.
Meowth translates, "She also explains that before she met Misty, she was abandoned by her original trainer, thinking she is weak when she's an Oddish, but after Mew and the others, especially Misty, she learns that she is wishes to become a great Pokemon Misty can be proud of, no matter what she evolves into. Sure her becoming Bellossom was unexpected, but maybe it's just time for her to become stronger in a different way."
Misty nods with a smile, "I couldn't agree, Bellossom."
Bellossom smiles and feels flustered.
Then turns to the others, "Whether your Bellossom or Vileplume, it's a wonderful gift that you've been given. And it's up to all of us to make the most of our gifts, whatever or whoever we are."
The Bellossom and Vileplume agree.
"And don't forget, you all started out the same as Gloom, and before that, Oddish," Brock says.
"That's right," Molly says.
Suddenly, they hear Jessie's voice, "Come on, you little lawn ornament, into the bag."
The group turns to spot Jessie and James trying to steal some of the Vileplume and Bellossom.
"No time for discussion, in you go," James says.
Meowth rushes over, "I tought you two was knocked out."
"This antidote stuff you brought back revived us in no time," James says, holding the bottle.
Soon, Mew and the others rush over.
"Team Rocket!" Mew shouts.
"Leave those Pokémon alone!" Misty shouts.
Soon, the three Bellossom and three Vileplume, including Misty's Bellossom use Stun Spore.
"Stun Spore!" Brock says, shocked.
"Now they're attacking to help out their friends!" Steven says.
"And I'll bet my Bellossom wants to protect them as well," Misty says.
"Ha! We have foolproof protection!" Jessie says and calls out, "Attack, Arbok!"
Arbok comes out and charges in.
Victreebel, you, too!" James calls out.
Victreebel comes out and tries to eat James' head.
James cries out, "Not me, you numbskull!"
"James realizes his mask is off as he cries out, "The mask! The mask!" and pulls on and throws Victreebel.
Both Pokémon charge, but are easily paralyzed and knocked out, to Jessie's and James' shock.
"They don't have our foolproof protection!" James says, shocked.
"But we can still capture all these grass Pokémon!" Jessie says.
"Right!" James says.
And with that, Jessie and James try to capture the six Pokemon. Including Misty.
"Bellossom!" Misty cries out.
Mew turns to the other Grass Pokemon, "Your friends are in danger of being captured! Are you just gonna stand by and watch?! Or are you going to work on your differences and fight to protect them!"
The rest of the Vileplume and Bellossom agree and surround Team Rocket.
"Forget da bag, let's just get outta here!" Meowth cries out.
Mew calls out, "Alright! Attack together and rescue your friends!"
The Pokemon agree and attack.
Meowth cries out, "I lost my mask!"
"Not to mention…" Jessie says.
Our pride!" James adds.
This allows the others to escape.
Misty's Bellossom calls out, "Bell Bellossom!" (Everyone move! I'm finishing this!)
Soon, Bellossom's flowers on her head begin to glow as she absorbs sunlight. The Vileplume and Bellossom notice and move out of the way as fast as they can. Misty and the others are shocked.
"That move…" Misty says.
"It is…" Tomo says.
"It's Solar Beam!" Brock says.
And with that, Misty's Bellossom fires a powerful Solar Beam, striking Team Rocket and sending them flying.
Jessie says, "Our foolproof protection plan…"
"Had no protection and no plan!" James cries out.
"But it did have da fool part," Meowth says.
Then all three scream, "Team Rocket's blasting off again!"
Back on the ground, all the Vileplume and Bellossom celebrate with a peace dance
"It's so great to see them all happy and together again," Misty says.
Her Bellossom nods in agreement.
"They owe it all to you for showing them how special each one of them is," Steven says.
Later that evening, our heroes are bidding Steven and the Pokemon farewell
Steven says goodbye, "Bye, now! Take care everyone!"
"We'll see you again, someday!" Brock calls out.
Everyone else calls out, "Goodbye, Steven!"
And so, having succeeded in restoring the peace between Vileplume and Bellossom. What's more, Misty's Gloom has unexpectedly evolved into Bellossom and has saved the day by learning Solar Beam. which Mew and her friends continue on their adventure once again to Blackthorn City.
