"by the way what's the tournament for soccer? Baseball?" Lynn jr asked
"nope professional Pokemon battling." Drayden explained

"yes don't worry it's not illegal pokemon love to battle it helps them get stronger and they also love to test their strength." Drayden explained

"red huh? Well I'm ready for it!" Lincoln said as he prepared for his Match
after a little while Lincoln entered the battle arena
"welcome everyone to the pokemon world tournament!" The announcer said "for our first match we have Lincoln nobori vs red!"
meanwhile In the special Spectator stands
Ingo emmet drayden and the louds were up in the spectator stands reserved for them
"it looks Lincoln is up first." Drayden said

"alright! Go malachite!" Lincoln yelled sending out the ghost type
"red sends out pikachu and Lincoln sends out his hisuian zoroark let's see what they can both do!" The announcer said
"Battle begin!" The referee said
"alright malachite use shadow ball!" Lincoln yelled
malachite charged a shadow ball and fired
red simply nodded as pikachu used thunderbolt destroying the shadow ball
"Lincoln's zoroark tried to go with shadow ball but red's pikachu has overpowered it!" The announcer said
with Ingo and the louds
"he didn't even say anything how did he do that?" Lori asked
"red has a bond with his pokemon so great that words are unnecessary." Ingo explained
"wow that's impressive." bobby said

"alright malachite use boomburst!" Lincoln yelled as malachite let out a scream that sent a shockwave sending pikachu back a bit
red pointed and pikachu began to use volt tackle
"(OH NO YOU DONT!)" malachite yelled before vanishing into the shadows dodging the attack
"it seems the zoroark has vanished!" The announcer said
suddenly malachite appeared from behind and landed a devastating hit on pikachu
"and zoroark reappeared dealing a massive blow to pikachu!" The announcer said
"malachite! Was that shadow force?!" Lincoln asked
"(yup!)" malachite responded "(took me a bit to copy but I got it!)"
"ok then now use crunch!" Lincoln yelled as malachite landed the move knocking pikachu back
red simply nodded and pikachu used thunderbolt
"malachite counter it with flamethrower!" Lincoln yelled as malachite let out fire from her mouth
both attacks collided but malachite overpowered pikachu and landed the flamethrower and knocked him out
"pikachu is unable to battle! Pokemon trainer red send out your next pokemon!" The referee said
"what a clash!" The announcer said "pikachu is down and out what Pokémon will red send out next?"
red grabbed another pokeball and sent out charizard
meanwhile with Ingo and the louds
Lynn sr let out a scream at the sight of charizard
"sorry he's a bit scared of stuff like that." Rita said
"fair enough." Drayden said
back with Lincoln
"and red sends out charizard!" The announcer said
"alright malachite use thunderbolt!" Lincoln yelled
malachite charged an electric blast and fired hitting charizard head on
red tapped his foot on the ground to signal charizard to use fire blast which hit and knocked malachite out
"zoroark is unable to battle! Pokémon trainer Lincoln send out your next pokemon!" The referee said
"Lincoln's zoroark did well but it wasn't enough what will Lincoln send out next?" The announcer said
"alright go havik!" Lincoln yelled sending out havik
"and Lincoln has sent out ursaluna!" The announcer said
with Ingo and the louds
Lynn sr let out another scream
"again sorry." Rita apologized
"it's fine." Drayden said
back with Lincoln
"alright havik use blood moon!" Lincoln yelled as Havik charged a red blast from its head and fired hitting charizard
"Now use stone edge!" Lincoln yelled
Havik punched the ground causing massive stone pillars to come up and hit charizard head on
the four times super effective hit knock charizard out and ended the battle
"charizard is unable to battle which means Lincoln wins!" The referee said
"and with the blood moon stone edge combo Lincoln wins it!" The announcer said
Lincoln returned havik and red returned charizard both went up and shook hands
"good game." Lincoln said as red nodded
back in the lobby after all the first round matches were done
"hey Caleb did you win?" Lincoln asked
"yea barely." Caleb said
" i didn't." Iris said as she approached
"aw I was looking forward to battling you." Lincoln said
"yea but did you see that Lynn girl use "good luck" rituals and she won?!" Iris yelled
"yea silver sent out a weavile she sent out a lucario he sends a feralagator she sends out a serpieror." Caleb said
"well the next matches are up." Lincoln said
