"Captain..? You still alive in there?"
When she still didn't hear an answer, Rosa knocked on his door again, more loudly this time. Finally, the door creaked open, and she was met with Levi's vexed glare.
"...What?" His brows knitted together in annoyance as she just stood there staring at him.
"Feeling a bit under the weather today?" Rosa couldn't prevent the corners of her mouth from curling up into a smirk, noticing the man's disheveled hair and the dark circles under his eyes.
"Fuck off, it's too early for this." Levi growled, and was about to slam the door shut when she stopped him by jagging her foot between the door.
"Oh, come on, don't be so grumpy. Here, I've brought you some water." She chuckled, nodding at the glass pitcher in her hands.
"How considerate." Levi muttered under his breath. He let out a sigh, stepping aside to let her in.
Rosa had never seen Levi hangover before— He definitely was grumpier and a little quieter than normal. She couldn't help but to be a little amused by his disheveled appearance; His jacket was laying on the backrest of the couch, but otherwise he was still wearing the same clothes as the night before. Few buttons of his shirt were left undone, and Rosa couldn't help but to notice the pale, smooth skin, and the sharp outline of his collarbones.
"Oh dang it…" Rosa tried not to bite her lip as she admired his slim, but muscular physique. "He's just so-"
"Don't get used to it."
"H-huh?" Rosa stuttered as she snapped back to reality. "Get used to what?"
"This. Seeing me hungover."
"Well, then you should learn to drink in moderation, Captain." Rosa suggested a bit teasingly. The man of his size didn't exactly need that much to drink to get too drunk for his own good..!
"Tch. Don't act so high and mighty. I remember you getting tipsy last night, too."
"That's because you kept on offering me drinks!" Rosa exclaimed.
"Yeah, right. Keep telling yourself that."
"Ugh, whatever." Rosa rolled her eyes as she filled a glass of water and handed it to Levi, who had just slumped down onto the couch. "So, how are you feeling?"
"Shitty." He stated bluntly, and took a few sips from his glass.
"You definitely look like shit."
"Good. Now fuck off."
"Oh, come on, don't be such a big baby." Rosa pouted, pouring herself a glass of water as well. "You were much nicer to me last night."
Levi's glass stopped at his lips as he heard her say that. His brow furrowed as he secretly stole a glance at her. What did she mean, exactly? "...I was?"
"You were."
"Huh. I don't remember anything like that." Levi scoffed, taking a sip of his drink
"Not really a surprise." Rosa chuckled. "You were totally wasted."
"No, I wasn't."
"Yes, you were."
"No, I wasn't."
"Were."
"Wasn't."
"Anyway, you were really sweet." Rosa ignored him and continued.
"What?"
"Yeah, you kept on telling me how pretty and smart I am." Rosa smirked.
"Tch. That sounds like bullshit to me."
"Well, believe me or not, but it's the truth. When I finally managed to drag you here into your room, you kept telling me how you didn't want to be alone and how happy you were that I was here. It was kinda cute." Rosa grinned, and was rewarded with a deep scowl from Levi.
"You're fucking with me." He wanted to admit it or not, but Levi was starting to feel the heat on his cheeks.
"Nope, not at all. You're a cuddly drunk, Captain."
"I'm not." He let out a deep, long sigh, running his fingers through his hair. Yep; Now he definitely was blushing.
"Yes, you are."
"I'm not. And stop calling me Captain."
"Sure thing, Levi." Rosa chuckled, and the way his name rolled off her tongue made him raise his brow at her.
"And now, if you're done bothering me, I'd like to get some rest."
"Oh? Do you really want me to leave already?"
"Yes. Fuck off."
"Alright, fine." Rosa smirked as she stood up, slowly pacing towards the door. "You didn't want me to leave last night, though." She gave Levi one last teasing smile before she closed the door behind her.
"Oh fucking hell..!" The very second the door closed, Levi buried his face into his hands. "Fuck, fuck, fuck..!"
This wasn't good. He needed to put an end to this before he actually started to feel something. But no, that wasn't an option. He knew he shouldn't, but at the same time he couldn't deny the fact that he had started to develop a serious crush on this girl.
"Get a grip." He groaned at himself, and laid down on the couch. As he closed his eyes, all the memories from the last night began to pour into his mind— Holding her hand and having his arm around her shoulders felt natural, but the butterflies in his stomach had been impossible to ignore.
When arriving to his room, he couldn't keep his hands off her. He had been 'a cuddly drunk', as Rosa had described him. She had smelled so good, and her soft curves had felt so warm and inviting against his touch. It had taken all of his willpower to not let his hands roam across her body, and in his stupid drunken hazed state he had almost begged her to spend the night.
And what did she say?
"Levi, no. You're drunk. You don't know what you're talking about."
"Ugh, fucking hell..." He groaned, grabbing the nearest pillow and pressing it against his face for a moment as he tried to shake all these thoughts from his mind. "You need to stop thinking about her. Right now. It's a stupid, childish crush, and that's it. Nothing more, nothing less. There's no point in wasting time or energy thinking about something that's not even going to last." The moment there was no more need for this fake-engagement arrangement, she would disappear from his life— Leave him once she had gotten what she wanted, just like everyone else. And yet, his mind was telling him otherwise.
Levi knew he shouldn't have agreed to the whole arrangement. He should have let her sort out the issue on her own. But when he saw her break down in tears that day, his mind went blank. He didn't have a choice, because there was no way in hell he could leave her alone, not in a situation like that. And now, he couldn't help but to regret his actions.
He hated himself for having feelings for her… and even more for wanting to do all those things to her last night. But, the more he thought about her, the more difficult it was to control himself. He couldn't deny that the mere sight of her had him going crazy; That soft, honey-blond hair, her smile, her scent… It all drove him wild. He wanted her, and the mere thought of not being able to touch her had him feeling frustrated beyond belief.
"Stop it. For fuck's sake, stop it. Stop thinking about her. Think about something else."
But it was easier said than done. All the thoughts in his mind were swirling, and they always led him back to the woman who had invaded his life and had now started to even haunt his dreams.
"Fuck, fuck, fuck."
He knew it was wrong, and he wanted to stop it, but the thought of her aroused him; The teasing smile she had given him before her parting had sent his blood rushing downwards, and now the only thing he could think about was the way her soft curves had felt pressed against his body the previous night. He wanted to taste her, to make her writhe and tremble beneath his touch, to bury his cock deep inside her, and to make her moan his name, and-
"Damn it, stop!"
His pants started to feel uncomfortably tight. He couldn't fight the urge anymore; Groaning in frustration, he pulled the zipper down and freed his aching cock from the restraints. He was already so hard it almost hurted, his veiny member standing stiff in its full length. The fact that it was still early morning and that he was so hungover didn't help the case, either. Closing his eyes, he imagined her straddling his lap and rocking her hips, riding his hard length. He bit his lower lip, wrapping his fingers around his cock and stroking it slowly. In his imagination, he grabbed a fistful of her hair and tilted her head to the side, exposing her neck. He imagined kissing her, sucking and biting on her flesh, marking her as his.
His movements grew faster and rougher as he pictured her grinding against him. He groaned, imagining her soft lips parting as she gasped for air, her voice growing higher and breathier.
"F-fuck, that's hot..!" Levi muttered under his breath, the pleasure building up inside him. He was panting now, his breathing heavy and erratic, and the knot in his abdomen tightening. "Hnnn, shit... Rosa..!" It wasn't the first time that Levi found himself touching himself while thinking about her, and he felt the guilt wash over him as he let out a low moan, arching his back. He was supposed to hate this, he was supposed to think it was wrong, but he couldn't help it.
"Fuuuuck, fuck, fuck..! A-ahh!" A strangled cry escaped his lips as he came, thick spurts of cum shooting onto his shirt. His heart was pounding, and his chest rising and falling rapidly as he tried to catch his breath. He couldn't help but to feel dirty and guilty; How could he even think of her in such a way? But his mind was a mess, and the remaining alcohol in his blood didn't help either.
"Fucking hell..." He cursed again, turning around on the couch. What the hell was he supposed to do with her? He couldn't go on like this. He felt exhausted, both mentally and physically, and soon, he was drifting off to restless sleep.
