Warning: No explicit or detailed but some big violence coming in one bit.

It wasn't very long until early one night Peter had gotten a call from the hidden number that Fury and Coulson used to contact him. Telling him to go to the address in his suit that looked like it was an abandoned nightclub. He found the van there by the side and out came Fury who made sure that no one was nearby to look.

"Welcome to Club Ennis... A hotspot for certain high class to get together, booze it up and private rooms for some debauchery... 'Heroes' likes to use it's services from time to time..." Fury informed him and Peter batted an eye at this.

"So... Did you just think that I needed some R&R after all you have pulled me into? Because I think that I will pass..." Peter said as Fury shook his head.

"Inside this place is Hawkeye... You know archer guy in purple?" Fury asked and Peter nodded as he heard about him; not really anything noteworthy from what he heard of but still. "Find him... Get him alone and...Bring him out to the van... Try and be stealthy which could be hard for you considering your last mission but at least try..." Fury told him as Peter stopped.

"Now you want me to kidnap someone for you... Why?" Peter demanded as Fury got a phone out shaking his head.

"We have reason to believe that he has been involved with a secret project of Stark and the military Brought in to help security and to help you feel less guilty... Here is some phone footage of him at work that you won't find on the news or trending..." Fury said as he then showed Peter footage of him violently shooting criminals with arrows beating them up, one crying saying that he surrendered but Hawkeye kept punching him brutally with a smile on his face and another said that he was framed but Hawkeye kept continuing.

Peter felt disgusted and sighed as Fury smirked giving him the password to get in; Peter knocked on the door and gave the password to be welcomed in. He saw the people at tables drinking and talking. "Hey... If it isn't Spider-Man.. Enjoying the finer things in life now that you're an A-lister?" asked a smirking man with a blonde mohawk and an edgy 80s styled costume who Peter recognised as Quagmire; a hero straight out of the 90s era of edgy comics.

Peter just waved at him and almost ended up walking into a blonde haired woman in a green leotard, stockings and a white jacket. "Well if isn't my new teammate... If you're looking for fun then I can be down... You know Zarda sometimes comes here..." smirked the woman who Peter recognised as a fellow Squadron Supreme member; Arcanna Jones who was a magic user.

"Hello Arcanna... Aren't you married with kids?" Peter asked as Arcanna sighed shaking her head.

"Don't let this go out as the PR team don't want it to but my husband and I are separated for now... Not the happy married normal household family despite mother being a sorceress that you will see in special TV interviews or visits to my home... Having to wear this revealing outfit and being marketed as a sex symbol... Took a toll on my marriage and I hate the uncomfortable questions I get from my kids about what people say about me..." Arcanna whispered to Peter looking frustrated as his face fell.

"Sorry to hear about that... I would suggest counselling... Sorry I was hoping to try and find someone... You know where I can find Hawkeye?" Peter then asked as Arcanna then raised an eyebrow and pointed to a table.

"There but I must warn you... Dealing with him for even a minute is a headache..." Arcanna warned him and Peter went to where there was a blonde haired man in a dark purple sleeveless bodysuit with a 'H' symbol, a weird dark purple mask over his face with goggles that had red lenses.

He ended up getting right on the targets in the darts; "Perfect bullseye as always... Well if it isn't Spider-Man himself..." Hawkeye then gloated and then smirked as Peter came up to him and got his hand with Peter forcing himself to shake. "The newest Squadron member himself... What can I do for you?" Hawkeye ended up asking and Peter straightened himself up.

"You think that we can have time alone in a room... Just us... Tony Stark himself asked me to audition you for the Squadron..." Peter said lying through his teeth but Hawkeye grinned apparently buying it.

"This is it... I was hoping that the Squadron would take me in as their archer... I mean after the scandal that kicked out the Golden Archer with Lady Lark... I have been really impatient..." Hawkeye told Peter excitedly as Peter followed him to a different room. "I must say that I saw your interview and did Stark cook up that stupid sob story you fed to the reporter? I mean I wish I could have come up with something better for my circus origin before being recruited for the FBI... But all I knew is that I couldn't talk about how I was just a disgraced Fed... Tired of the red tape and I realised that if I was going about in a mask doing what I was doing then I would be called a hero... Decided to do just that and it has served me well..." Hawkeye told him and Peter held back his breath.

"Say Spider-Man... Did Stark tell you when I am getting my dose of the serum? You probably know but he is planning on creating a super soldier army for the military with the best one to be the new Captain America... I have been security and I was promised my own dose... Flown from here to that lab in that place where they trained the first one..." Hawkeye whispered as Peter's eyes widened and his Spider-Sense went off and he jumped out of the way as a bullet came from the window and he wasn't able to look as Hawkeye's head was shot to pieces.

He felt sick as he then ran out of the building with there being yelling as the body was discovered; he ended up being pulled into the van by Fury as it drove off. "Castle can catch up and I admit that him in sniper position was just as a precaution... I didn't think Hawkeye was that much an idiot to spill what we wanted from him..." Fury grinned as Peter shook his head.

"Could have guessed you were responsible... Wait; how did you... YOU BUGGED ME!" Peter yelled at Fury who wasn't phased.

"Couldn't fully trust you in there with how you screwed up your first mission and what happened with the Freak. Still; it's time for us to deal with the latest of the Stark family's attempts to recreate Captain America. One such attempt working with the US military in a project co-spearheaded by the current Secretary of Defence to see about using gamma radiation... Created the Hulk and the poor sap who became the monster was told that it was for medical purposes..." Fury told him as Peter sighed.

"I don't think that anything will surprise me about what Stark has done now..." Peter muttered as Fury shook his head.

"When we're ready and before we head off to stop the new super soldiers... Perhaps; it's time we introduce to you the only real success story that the super soldier project ever made apart from Steve Rogers..." Fury then told him as Peter was confused.

The Rocket Central and Hyperion, Zarda and Ledger were in the meting room as they were sent the security footage from the Ennis club. "Spider-Man sensed that he was in danger but didn't think that he could get someone else..." Zarda muttered shaking her head thinking that she should have a talk with Peter to see how he is taking this after experiencing that. "Hawkeye was a piece of work but still..." Zarda then said having no love lost with Hawkeye from the few meetings that they had.

"And bolder as well... Someone really is starting a war against us... The Punisher?" Hyperion then asked as Ledger shook his head even as Zarda thought that it sounded likely.

"Castle doesn't have what it takes to boldly declare war on the superhero community openly and not leave evidence... You think they are related to whoever stole the Ant Man and Wasp stuff?" Ledger then asked as then entered Richmond as Nighthawk. "Here we go..." Ledger asked with a sigh.

"Perhaps Hawkeye was the target all along; Spider-Man put him into position... I think you should know right before he died; I asked Sk'ym'x to discretely keep an eye on the new Squadron member who I might add was put on the roster under my severe objections." Richmond told them as they gave him looks.

"Don't you think that you are being paranoid again Kyle? Spider-Man seems like a young well meaning hero who was in the wrong place and the wrong time..." Hyperion asked as Richmond shook his head.

"Looks can be deceiving and he is a reckless clown. No business being loose in my city..." Richmond then retorted as Zarda sighed.

"You are probably sore because someone is doing what you wish you can just do and kill all of us supers before we become threats... Except that you don't know their motives and are scared that they will come after you as well..." Ledger mocked as Richmond glared at him.

"Just leave it be; Spider-Man doesn't need you hounding and accusing him after what he had been through recently and in his life..." Zarda snapped at Richmond who went up to her.

"I know you have been with Parker outside the suit and I think that it's fair to warn you not to let him use you for information as he turns you into his rebound girl..." Richmond told her as he then teleported away with Zarda storming off to her room.

"To think that I was once attracted to him..." Zarda muttered to herself thinking that she could go for a drink right now.

Just in case it wasn't clear; Hawkeye here is not Cint Barton but rather the man who is usually Bullseye just like in the Dark Reign era of Marvel which featured Norman Osborn putting villains into the costumes and roles of heroes. Wondering how many would guess from the hints like with the darts and using a similar line he had in the Daredevil show about him being called a hero if he wore a mask though here the fame of acting as a hero made him kind of an idiot as he indulged in it. Plus he is using the suit of Ultimate Hawkeye or more specifically the purple suit he wore since Ultimates 3 and if you think about it; the Ultimates can be compared to the Boys though Mark Millar does actually care about superheroes and the Ultimates, being stuck up jerks (plus the original Ultimates series did have them go over their brand and future potential for a movie), the heroes there at least are more genuine in wanting to save the day (by comparison anyway) and when they do actual superhero things, they are far more likely to be competent than the the heroes in the Boys.

Plus next chapter it will see another section reused and edited from Spider and Charlatans and you might be able to guess what it is if you read it.

Plus the Golden Archer and Lady Lark were from the Squadron Supreme comic and though the details would not be the same as in the comics where Archer used the Squadron's behaviour modification (brainwashing) technology to have Lady Lark stay with him and be hopelessly into him... Just imagine that what did went down was pretty bad.
