Here I present myself with a new translated chapter!

I hope you all enjoyed this special time with your families and friends. I would have liked to deliver this little gift a little earlier, but priorities are priorities.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy this chapter.

Before I start, I would like to answer a review:

vanhellsing9000: I hope you enjoy this chapter. I'm sorry I left that suspense for so many chapters, I really was busy with other things. Thank you very much for your words, and I hope to keep the good expectations until the end.

Now yes, let's go to the chapter.

Enjoy!

Azazel landed on the ground in front of a group of Angels who were commanded by Michael.

"You're going to have your work cut out today." The Cadre sneered as he dropped the two badly injured Valkyries onto the makeshift stretchers.

"Any new information?" Asked Michael, who approached him as he looked at the Valkyries' wounds.

"Thanks to Penemue and Gasper's help the Valkyries' advance is very efficient. The enemy front is more focused on stopping Penemue herself than slowing our advance, so we are taking ground very quickly." Azazel turned his gaze back to the battlefield, watching as far off in the distance a great deal of lightning shot out everywhere. "In fact, I think that at this rate she won't be long before she'll be cutting through the rear to take on those who might give the most trouble."

"Don't you think it's risky to leave her alone?" Michael asked with some concern, watching as his men were healing a decent group of badly wounded Valkyries.

"She's a first level assassin, I don't think she'll have much trouble." Azazel stated as he placed his hands in his pocket, observing the Seraphim with his typical relaxed look.

"Besides, she's not alone."

Penemue continued to advance and tear everyone apart without stopping, generating a great deal of chaos among the enemy ranks due to her great agility and skill with the sword. Every attempt to stop her was unsuccessful, to such an extent that anyone who crossed her path ended up broken in two.

Finally, the mad frenzy of the powerful woman stopped when she witnessed something really strange. In fact, anyone would have realized that something very strange was going on when the warriors who were trying to stop her stopped coming at a moment's notice.

Anyway, Penemue had a much broader view of what was going on.

"They're dividing the army?" The woman wondered with much confusion as she watched a huge swath keep getting bigger and bigger, causing her to stand in the middle of all that emptiness.

Thanks to that, the Cadre could see in detail how Sirzechs and the Cadres were at the end of that great divide. But that wasn't the only thing, as they had all created magic circles of considerable size.

"Are they planning to make a direct attack?" Penemue narrowed her eyes, then flexed her legs. "This just makes it easier to get to you guys." After thinking those words, the Cadre disappeared through a thin trail of violet lightning.

"I know what you're thinking..." Sirzechs thought with a faint smile as he watched a violet flash approaching at an impressive speed.

Just as Penemue was only a few feet away from reaching them, Sirzechs' grin widened dangerously.

"But this isn't a normal magical attack."

The ring on Sirzechs' finger glowed brightly, causing a great burst of magical energy to shoot out from all the magic circles.

Penemue stopped dead in her tracks and her eyes flickered in complete disbelief as she watched all the attacks come together, forming a torrent of unparalleled destructive magic.

"This is bad!" She exclaimed inwardly as she unfurled her wings with the intentions of moving out of attack range, but was caught off guard at the speed of the attack.

Penemue couldn't help but grit her teeth as she used both of her hands to create a large barrier that she used as a momentary protection that allowed her to move out of attack range, though her surprise was more than evident as she saw the barrier being evaporated much faster than she anticipated.

"BEWARE!" The Cadre was quick to try to warn everyone, but there was nothing that could be done to prevent such a collision.

The barrier finished disappearing and the attack advanced without stopping, causing hundreds of Valkyries and Angels to disappear the moment they came into contact with the dangerous massive magical energy that was combined with the Demon King's power.

Azazel and Michael watched stunned as a part of the army was completely wiped out, and that, not to be outdone, the attack seemed to have the intentions of not stopping despite crashing into the first barriers in the rear.

"Move the wounded immediately! The barriers won't hold for long!" Michael shouted at the top of his lungs, and all the Angels nodded immediately.

The first defense was shattered in a matter of seconds, causing a large number of Angels to die as they were absorbed by the attack.

Azazel took four Valkyries on his shoulders, then watched as there were another 6 wounded Valkyries that were in a really lousy state to move.

"There are still six left...!" The Cadre called out, but quickly realized that only he was left.

The second set of barriers quickly gave way, causing a great amount of shouting from the Yokais to echo throughout.

"Shit!" Azazel could do nothing but curse and click his tongue, earning a glare from the Valkyries who could barely stay conscious.

"Don't worry about us, save our sisters!" One of the Valkyries begged him, causing Azazel's teeth to clench even tighter as he heard the massive attack impact against the last barriers keeping him safe.

The Cadre focused his gaze on the towering attack, then looked at the Valkyries again.

Finally, Azazel clicked his tongue in disgust once more.

The Valkyries all watched in utter amazement as the man carefully set the women down on the ground, then took several steps forward, coming face to face with the barriers that were seconds away from breaking.

"Sir...!"

"I'm sorry." Azazel interrupted as he glanced sideways at them, sketching a faint smile.

The Cadre focused his gaze on the barriers once more, creating one of his own of a very considerable size.

"I have a gentleman's honor that I need to maintain, and so I cannot allow such beautiful damsels as yourselves to die when I had the chance to save yours."

The Valkyries only managed to look at him with wide eyes at those words, and right after that the barriers finally gave way.

Azazel clenched his teeth tightly and his always relaxed expression was wiped from his face completely. The veins on his temple were marked almost instantly, indicating that he was using a great deal of magic to maintain the barrier.

The silent gnashing of teeth was completely overshadowed by the deafening sound being caused by the destructive whirlwind that was doing its best to continue advancing.

His fists stretched out to his sides clenched even tighter to the point of starting to bleed.

"Aaaahhhhhhhh...!"

The sound of his teeth was replaced by his voice as he could no longer help but hold it back, feeling much of his clothing being ripped to shreds, to the point where his torso was completely exposed.

"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

His shout deepened and the pain could begin to be distinguished in his tone as different points of the barrier began to disappear, leaking small amounts of energy that struck directly at his body, causing a few burns that were slowly turning into holes.

The veins in his arms were marked to no end, indicating that he was at his limit.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Azazel's last shout was followed by a thunderous explosion, blinding everyone momentarily.

Finally, the dust slowly dissipated as did that blinding glow, revealing an Azazel still standing with his robes completely shredded.

"S-sir..." Mentioned a Valkyrie on the verge of tears, seeing how the man saved them from certain death.

"This way..." Azazel spoke, turning his face slowly, and as always, that smile on his face could not be missed.

"My honor as a gentleman is still intact."

His calm and even mocking words completely counteracted to the condition of his body, as he had several somewhat deep holes and very large burns along almost his entire body.

Finally, the Cadre clicked his tongue graciously at the sight of the women's stunned expression, then fell back in a dull thud.

"If it hadn't been for the other protections, I probably wouldn't have been able to exert even a little resistance..." Sirzechs thought with a slightly annoyed expression as he watched the ring on his hand being destroyed.

"And what does that matter? What we're really interested in is that he can't get back up for quite a while." Baraqiel clarified with a satisfied smile on his face. "Now they've lost a really important chip in their army."

"Shit..." Was all Penemue could think at what she witnessed, then turned her gaze back to the Cadres and the Demon King. "If I'm not mistaken, Sona Sitri had used that strange artifact when she fought Issei in the Rating Games..." Cadre's eyebrows contracted for a short second, then diverted her gaze to a particular spot.

There stood the Vali group being commanded by Göndul, who were awaiting instructions from the Cadre after what they witnessed.

"Letting them attack like that once again is really dangerous." Following that line of thought, the Cadre waved her hand, signaling the group to move forward as quickly as possible.

Penemue fixed her gaze to the front, seeing how the giant strip dividing the army had instantly disappeared, causing her to be surrounded by thousands of enemies again.

The aura surrounding Penemue became much larger and more violent, causing her closest enemies to shudder at what they witnessed.

"In that case, I should be as fast as possible. Even if that ends up leaving me very exhausted and vulnerable in the end."

CHAPTER 89: THE SCOURGE OF FUTURE REMINISCENCE!

"I wonder what would happen if that person important to you dies in front of your eyes?" Ophis' eyes widened in horror after hearing those words.

"Would you be able to feel the pain I'm feeling?" Ophis brought her hand back to her chest under Trihexa's watchful gaze.

"No..." Was all she replied, causing Trihexa's smile to widen.

"I see, then..." Trihexa turned her gaze to Issei, causing the small sphere on her finger to spin out of control.

"Watch him die."

Ophis' eyes widened beyond measure and all she could do was scream in great desperation.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

The funereal silence after such a scream lasted only a second, as a great silver explosion shook the small dimension.

The silver trail slowly faded into nothingness, revealing the gaping hole that had been left in Issei's chest.

All Ophis could do was watch with indecipherable feelings in his empty eyes that mirrored Issei's lifeless eyes.

"I can see it in your face." Trihexa declared with glee as she tilted Issei's limp body back. "I welcome you to my world." She concluded with unparalleled satisfaction as she tossed the corpse away as if it were mere trash.

"ISSEI!" Ophis didn't even hear Trihexa's words, all she did was fly with all her remaining strength to reach the large rubble where her beloved had fallen.

Once she arrived, she screamed his name once more as she ran towards him. Her eyes widened with a mixture of horror and disbelief as she turned his body around, seeing how his eyes were lifeless, adding to the gaping hole in his chest that wouldn't stop bleeding.

"My, my..." Trihexa scoffed as she landed on the edge of the large rubble, watching as the Goddess placed Issei between her legs as she began to heal him. "I don't think you can heal a corpse." She concluded, and Ophis again didn't even listen to her.

After several seconds of trying to heal him, all she managed to do was make his bleeding stop, so the sharpest, most piercing despair of her life began to fill her like a great tide that brought only suffering.

"Issei..." Treacherous tears began to roll down her face as she brought both hands to her hair, feeling how all those emotions were beginning to kill her inside. "No..." The Goddess could do nothing but shake her head at the watchful gaze of Trihexa, who seemed to be enjoying the whole show.

"I cried a lot for him too. Unfortunately, crying never brought him back to life." The woman declared, watching as Ophis was being affected by a very deep nervous breakdown.

"No, you can't die. You can't..." Ophis brought both hands to her chest as her crying deepened even more.

"YOU CAN'T! I LOVE YOU! I DON'T WANT YOU TO LEAVE ME!"

Ophis' crying became completely agonizing as she began to shake Issei's body in a poor attempt to bring him back to life.

"It's true that revenge won't be able to bring him back either..." Just as Trihexa made that comment, Ophis stopped her action immediately.

Trihexa's eyes narrowed slightly as the smile on her face widened a little at the sight of Ophis sobbing and shaking silently.

"But it's what they deserve."

A murderous aura burst through Ophis' body as she turned her dead gaze, focusing solely on that woman who had taken away the person who had helped her feel again.

"This is bad, she's losing control like that time, but now it's even worse. And with the state of her body..." Great Red thought with a slight gritting of his teeth. "I'm not strong enough to support her right now."

"That look..." Trihexa commented, narrowing her eyes in satisfaction that she had succeeded in her task. "You want to kill me? You want to avenge him? Then..." Trihexa stretched her arms out to her sides, widening her smile even more.

"Come and fetch me."

"AAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Ophis couldn't even respond rationally to such words, so he just screamed and her broken mind was carried away by her endless wailing as she threw herself at the Dragon Goddess.

Trihexa simply closed her eyes calmly as she watched Ophis change into her dragon form along the way.

"You attack like an animal." Was Trihexa's simple but blunt comment as she disappeared and appeared next to Ophis after dodging her headbutt, then grabbing her by the tail and sending her away.

The dragoness vomited a large amount of blood as a huge hole spread across much of her abdomen, a product of Trihexa having appeared in front of her through blinding speed.

"Oops, I had forgotten that you are the weakest Dragon Goddess. I used more force than I should have." The woman stated with a distinctly mocking tone as she looked down at her blood covered arm.

Ophis didn't take long to return to her human form. The hole in her abdomen was slowly regenerating from what little reserves she had left after everything that happened.

"Are you going to fall unconscious?" Trihexa grabbed her by the hair, only to give her a hard slap that made her scream. "I won't let you. Not until I've decided you've had enough." She declared with a frightening grin on her face as she continued to give her various slaps.

"PLAF!"

"PLAF!"

"UAAHH!"

All that could be heard for the next few seconds were Trihexa's constant slapping and kneeing added to those pain covered screams emanating from Ophis' parted lips.

That heartbreaking moment was interrupted when Trihexa reached out her hand to the side, stopping a punch in its tracks.

"It's not your turn yet." The woman declared as her empty, dark eyes locked on Great Red. "I suppose I should teach you some manners." The bones of Great Red's hand echoed in the air as the dragoness used more force in her grip.

It didn't take long for Trihexa to pull Ophis' hair to fling her towards the rubble in a very violent manner, then grab Great Red by the neck to deliver a couple of blows, ending with a hard kick that sent him flying.

Ophis' blurry gaze was fixed on Issei's body. Despite being so weak, she began to crawl as best she could with the sole desire to be able to hug him again. But her attempts were in vain when a figure stood in her way.

"How pitiful." Was all that emerged from Trihexa's lips as she crushed Ophis' back with her foot, causing the Goddess to spit out a large amount of blood. "Crawling around like a insect..." Ophis slowly raised her gaze to watch her, causing tears to return to her face.

"Why...?" Ophis sobbed in great pain, getting Trihexa's smile to change drastically.

"Do I need some other reason?" Trihexa's foot pressed even harder on her back.

"Do you think that man's life was more important than my son's?" Trihexa's annoyed expression changed to one of complete fury as she lifted her foot.

"TEEELL MEEEEEEE!"

Ophis vomited a large amount of blood as the foot slammed into her back, causing the ground to crack considerably.

Anyway, Trihexa's fury didn't end there, as she began to kick a great deal to let off steam, causing a frightening sound to echo throughout the place.

When she finally calmed down, a look of disgust and contempt adorned her face.

"I think it's about time to get rid of you." She stated, looking at Ophis' dull and marred face.

You only needed to see the large amount of blood on his body to realize that he was barely still conscious.

"But before that, I'm going to give you the honor of dying alongside him." Concluded the woman with a cynical smile as she gave her one last kick much harder than the previous one.

This time, Ophis didn't even complain. Her battered body was thrown away by such a blow until she rolled down the giant rubble, stopping only because she collided with Issei's feet.

...

...

...

...

...

Issei's feet?

Trihexa seemed to pick up on that anomaly instantly, so it didn't take long for her to raise her gaze with great astonishment and disbelief on her face.

"How could this be possible?" That was all she could think to say at the time, as Issei was standing upright, fully alive and conscious.

Anyway, there was something else much more striking that triggered her attention.

"What is that gem?" She wondered internally with wide eyes as she saw that the hole in Issei's chest had been replaced by a red-colored gem.

"Issei? But how...?" Before Great Red could try to find an answer to understand such a dilemma, his concentration was diverted as he saw how Issei's gaze was focused solely on Ophis.

That wasn't what really alarmed him though.

What concerned him more was seeing how a faint dark aura began to surround Issei completely.

"Did you come back to life so I could return to give you another beating?" Trihexa sneered as she folded her arms, dismissing everything that was happening.

Big mistake.

"Don't you think it would have been smarter to fake your death?" She continued to rant against him, not noticing how Issei's eyes were riveted on Ophis.

Or rather, on the dragoness' body.

That body that looked really battered, added to the bloody tears that decorated her empty eyes for being bordering on unconsciousness.

All that pain...

All that suffering...

All caused by the woman who was mocking him right now...

She had to pay.

The faint aura flared impressively, causing Trihexa's smile to vanish completely as she was forced to take cover from the massive whirlwind that shook the entire Dimension.

Great Red himself was stunned by what he witnessed, but they were not the only ones.

Tiamat, Tannin and Vali were the first to realize that something strange was happening inside the rift, and their perplexed looks gave them away completely.

Issei's aura increased even more, causing the whole Dimension to contract in a very disturbing way, releasing a powerful burst of energy everywhere. Said event pierced through the rift itself, causing a great amount of pressure and power to spread among all the combatants, forcing everyone to fall to their knees as the entire Underworld began to tremble.

"This is unreal! How could anyone with such power exist?!" Tiamat exclaimed with an expression never before seen on her face.

"It feels like the entire Underworld is about to explode!" Rossweisse exclaimed, looking even worse than her friend.

"What are they doing in there?!" Shouted Loki with gritted teeth and his eyes wide as never before. "If they don't stop, all the Realms could be destroyed!"

The clouds of the Underworld would clear, the tremors would deepen even more. But Loki was right, for all the Realms began to be buffeted by those very things, even having avalanches and completely unstable streams.

Even in the human world such power was felt. Issei's parents and their little adopted daughter watched from the window in horror as the planet was spiraling completely out of control.

Matsuda and Motohama came out of the Academy to see everything that was happening more clearly, observing with great astonishment how the entire planet was shaking.

"What the fuck is going on?!" Shouted Matsuda barely being able to stand up.

"No, stop Issei!" Shouted Great Red from the distance. "Remember not to get carried away with the hate! I understand that you're upset, but you have to control it! This fight is useless if you lose your mind!" The dragon tried to reason with him, but Issei wasn't listening.

Trees were falling, some structures were collapsing, and even various tidal waves were generated throughout the Realms.

Matsuda and Motohama fell butt-first to the ground, their pained expressions lasting no more than a second as they saw the new focus they had gained after that fall.

"Hey... I'm not going crazy, am I?" Questioned Matsuda with wide eyes.

Motohama wasn't feeling much better as they were both watching as the clouds had completely disappeared along with the blue sky, so the dark starry sky began to make an appearance in the middle of the morning.

"ISSEI! STOP NOW, ISSEI!"

Great Red shouted at the top of his lungs in vain, watching as the dark armor began to surround Issei's body, causing the brown-haired man to clench his fists tightly.

Finally, his eyes reflected Ophis' body one last time before his helmet fully materialized.

"UUAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

Issei's yell was heard throughout the Dimension as he hunched his back, causing the aura around him to go even crazier, whereby the whirlwind of energy became so impressive that it covered his figure by such intensity.

"AAAAARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Issei's yells continued to be heard, although they slowly became distorted as well as his figure that was slowly transforming into his dragon form before the impressed gaze of Trihexa who only watched in silence.

Issei's yells were calming down when he finally managed to reach his dragon form, although something really surprising happened when the imposing dragon began to transform again to a much smaller figure, emitting a large amount of flashing glows that blinded everyone completely.

Finally, the churning aura and blinding light were disappearing, so Trihexa could slowly uncover her face.

The surprise reflected in her expressions were more than delightful.

There stood Issei, but it was a totally different Issei.

There was that gem on his chest, but there was no armor.

A faint but extremely powerful glow surrounded his entire body.

His somewhat messy and short hair was now really long and disheveled, plus it had taken on a much darker hue.

And lastly, he delivered a glance at the Goddess, reflecting that crimson color that inspired a great deal of respect.

"Why did it change like that? Does that have something to do with that gem?" Trihexa wondered, not being able to hide her surprise at what she was witnessing.

Issei turned his gaze to Ophis and bent down to take her in his arms carefully. The protagonist looked at her for a few seconds, feeling her breathing weak and heavy from the pitiful condition she was in.

Finally, Issei joined his lips with hers without mediating any words, causing an aura to surround both bodies.

Ophis' eyes opened immediately, and her wounds healed almost instantly. However, she didn't even care what was happening, or how Issei was still alive. All she did was what she felt at that moment.

She just wanted to embrace him and reciprocate that kiss she had always been waiting for.

It didn't take long for their lips to part, causing Ophis to look at him with a mixture of relief and affection.

"Issei..." Was all she said, as tears threatened to roll down her cheeks when she felt the brown kiss her forehead.

She accepted the gentle kiss gladly, snuggling her little hands on her beloved's bare chest.

They both wanted that moment to last much longer, but they knew perfectly well that they were at a critical moment, so should save the kissing and caressing for another time.

"Hey, Red." Issei called out to him, gaining the man's attention.

Trihexa was still very surprised by what she witnessed, so she didn't even try to stop him as he floated over to Great Red with Ophis still in his arms.

"I know you have a lot of questions now, but at least I can assure you that I haven't gone crazy." Issei clarified, breaking the embrace with Ophis. "I need you to get as far away from me as you can. I'll take care of this, and this time I promise you won't need to help me." Issei stated earnestly as he pointed to his chest, or more precisely, his gem.

Great Red studied him with his gaze for a few seconds, revealing that he was equally surprised as well as shocked. Anyway, the Dragon God didn't take long to nod, and Ophis made sure to help him so that they could fly without any problems due to his lousy condition.

"So you guys want to run away like rats once again, huh?" Trihexa finally snapped out of her trance as she watched Ophis and Great Red fly away at a great speed.

The woman laughed for a short second, then extended her hand towards her two targets.

"I don't feel like this lasting much longer, so I'll kill them now." Those words caused Issei to glare at her, so it didn't take long for him to grit his teeth as he watched a large sphere appear in Trihexa's hand.

"DIE!"

Great Red and Ophis turned their faces just in time to see a huge, impressive and inescapable magical attack approaching their position, so they could only close their eyes to wait for the impact.

The silver light spread everywhere and the gigantic explosion was not long in coming, making the whole place rumble loudly.

Even so, the smile on Trihexa's face had been replaced by a serious look as soon as her attack had exploded.

It was a curious thing, since that smile almost never left her face.

The answer for such a noticeable change came with her next words.

"Apparently, you've gotten a little faster." Declared the woman as she turned her face, watching as Issei was carrying the two Dragon Gods on his shoulders.
