To my readers-This is a major editing overhaul for my Pokemon fanfiction. During this editing overhaul, I am renaming my OC. I will not change her Pokemon Partner, and I will not change her regional Pokemon Teams. I have decided as a writing goal to combine all of the regions together rather than writing them as individual regions. I'm still going to write Sinnoh and Unova, but at this moment, I need to finish writing certain regions like Kanto, Alola and Galar. For those of you who are going to ask me if I'm doing the Pokemon movies (you know who you are), I'm nipping that question in the bud right now. I will not be writing the movies. Why? Because it will be too much for me to do as I already have a lot on my plate as it is so stop asking me that question.
If you dont like the way I'm writing my version of Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos, Alola, and Galar then you dont have to read my fanfiction. You can move onto reading something else in the Pokemon universe, I'm not going to force you as readers to read my fanfiction. I'm not going to reach through my computer screen to force you to read any of my fanfiction. You as individuals chose to read my fanfiction. Happy Reading!
I DONT OWN POKEMON. I ONLY OWN MY OC AND THE CREATION OF HER REGIONAL POKEMON TEAMS. ALL REGIONAL POKEMON TEAMS WILL BE POSTED AT THE BOTTOM OF THE CHAPTERS FOR MY OC.
Shoutouts:
On a long road, a fighting Pokémon was running with its fists up to its face. It stops and starts taking a couple of punches in the air. Hiding behind a tree, a young girl watches the Pokémon. "Wow, look at that." said Ash. "It's a wild Hitmonchan."
"So that's one of those fighting Pokémon I've heard about." said Misty.
"It doesn't look like its wild to me." said Trixie.
"That one's a real fighter." said Brock.
"Hitmonchan, a skilled fighting Pokémon that packs an incredibly fast punch." said Dexter.
"All right, lets capture it." said Ash. "Ready, Pikachu?"
"Pikachu." said Pikachu, stunned.
"If you defeat Hitmonchan, you'll become the world champion Pokémon." said Ash.
"Pikachu." said Pikachu.
"I'm with Pikachu on this one, Ash." said Trixie.
"How would you know, Trixie?" asked Ash.
"Just look at Hitmonchan. It would literally knock Pikachu out in three seconds flat." she tells him.
"Riolu." said Meeko.
"Chan!" said Pikachu, dreaming about his knockout and hides behind Misty's leg. "Pika."
"You don't have to be afraid." Ash said to Pikachu. "I'll teach you my secret punch, and nobody'll be able to beat you."
"You have a secret punch? What secret punch?" asked Trixie. "Since when do you have a secret punch, Ash?"
"Rio?" asked Meeko.
"Pikachu." said Pikachu.
"You got to learn the basics first." said Ash, then demonstrates for Pikachu. "Keep your left up and jab with your right."
"Pika, Pika." Pikachu said, nodding.
"Since when did Ash become a boxing expert?" asked Brock.
"I don't know." said Trixie, shrugging her shoulders. "TV maybe?"
"Beats me." said Misty.
Narrator: Well, everything's been going pretty well. Misty caught Psyduck, and Brock got Vulpix, But Ash and Trixie haven't captured any Pokémon lately.
Trixie: Easy for you to say. He's taking forever to capture another Pokémon.
Narrator: He might be getting a little worried, but now Ash'll try his luck with Hitmonchan.
Trixie: I hope so. He's not the only one who's worried.
"Pi." said Pikachu, walking up to Hitmonchan with boxing gloves on his hands.
"Chan." said Hitmonchan.
"Okay, Hitmonchan, ready for a match?" Ash asked.
"Chan." Hitmonchan said, nodding as Pikachu throws a few punches. "Monchan."
"Hitmonchan, Pikachu's going to teach you a lesson." Ash tells Hitmonchan. "Pikachu, attack!"
"Pika." said Pikachu.
"Round 1." said Trixie as Misty and Brock rang a bell.
"Pika, pika, pika, chu!" said Pikachu, about to throw the first punch.
"That's it, Pikachu." he said. "Now jab, jab. Now give it the big uppercut."
"Pika, pika, pika, Pikachu!" shouted Pikachu, trying to land a punch on Hitmonchan, who used its arm to keep Pikachu away.
"Chan!" said Hitmonchan as Ash groans.
"Chu!" groaned Pikachu, trying his hardest to land a punch on Hitmonchan.
"This is not going well." said Trixie.
"Riolu, Olu." said Meeko.
"Make Pikachu stop, Ash." Misty called out to Ash. "This isn't even a fight."
"Better yet, its not even a fair fight." said Trixie.
"Pikachu, give me that special punch I just taught you." said Ash.
"Pika, Pika!" shouted Pikachu.
"Chan." said Hitmonchan.
"Give it the rocket punch." Ash said.
"Pikachu!" shouted Pikachu, as his gloves were shot from his hands and heads for Hitmonchan.
"Huh?" said Misty and Brock.
"That's the secret punch?" asked Trixie.
"Ri?" asked Meeko.
"Pika." Pikachu said as the smoked cleared and punches Hitmonchan in the face.
"We did it!" said Ash.
"They did?" asked Brock.
"Doubt it." said Trixie.
"No way." said Misty.
"Rio" said Meeko.
"Pikachu." Pikachu said with his arm in the air, then takes a look at Hitmonchan's cheek. "Pi."
"Chan." said Hitmonchan, rubbing his injured cheek and glares at Pikachu, causing him to screech.
"So much for the great rocket punch." said Brock.
"Yeah. It was more of a Pika punch than a rocket punch." said Trixie.
"Rio." said Meeko.
"How many times do I have to tell you, don't drop your guard." a man said, coming up behind Hitmonchan.
"Chan."
"Keep your gloves up, Hitmonchan, because fighting smart hurts less than fighting stupid." the man said to the Pokémon.
"Chan." Hitmonchan nodded.
"Now go knock that pipsqueak out."
"Hitmon." said Hitmonchan as the quartet gasped. "Hitmonchan, hit."
"Cha!" screeched Pikachu.
"Hitmon, Hitmon, Hitmon." said Hitmonchan, hitting Pikachu multiple times.
"Cha!" said Pikachu, getting knocked out.
"Pikachu." said Ash.
"Hitmonchan!" said Hitmonchan, giving Pikachu an uppercut.
"Chu." said Pikachu, knocked out as he hits the ground.
"Pikachu, are you okay?" asked Ash, picking him up.
"Pika, Pika."
"I declare Hitmonchan the winner." said the man. "Congratulations. One, two, three. Hooray!"
"Chan!"
"I wonder who this guy is?" asked Ash.
"He's a pretty serious trainer." said Misty.
"Too bad I can't go all Hurricane Trixie on him." said Trixie.
"I guess it wasn't wild." said Brock.
"Daddy." said a girl, running out in front of Ash and the others. "Daddy, please come home."
"Rebecca?" her father asked, confused.
"Daddy, please quit Pokémon training and come home with me." begged Rebecca.
"I won't come home until I become champion in the P1 Grand Prix." said her father.
"Daddy." said Rebecca.
"I'll be in the gym taking on challengers." said Rebecca's father, then points down the road behind the quartet. "The Gym's that way. I'll be waiting for you."
"Uh." said Ash as Rebecca sighs.
"Oh well." she said, watching her father run off towards the Gym.
"Aha." said Brock. "Can I be of help to you, young lady?"
"I'm really sorry my father bothered you." Rebecca said to Ash.
"No problem." said Brock.
"She wasn't talking to you, Brock." said Trixie.
"Can I ask a favor of you, Pokémon trainers, a really, really big favor?" Rebecca asked.
"Please feel free to ask." said Brock. "We'll be glad to help in any way possible."
"Thank you. Please, I want you to defeat my father's Hitmonchan."
"Huh?" said Trixie, Misty and Ash.
"We'll do it for you." said Brock, grabbing Rebecca's hands as the others looked at each other.
"The Fighting Spirit Gym." said Misty, reading the sign as Rebecca leads them to her father's Gym.
"This sure doesn't look like an ordinary Pokémon Gym." said Ash.
"Yeah. Riolu." said Trixie and Meeko.
"What's the P1 Grand Prix?" Brock asked Rebecca.
"P1 is short for the Pokémon number one Grand Prix." Rebecca explained. "It's a tournament for fighting Pokémon. Because my father wants to win the P1, he's training all the time and ignoring his family."
"So if we defeat that Hitmonchan, your dad will come to his senses and go back home." said Brock.
"Right." said Rebecca, nodding.
"Ha, don't worry. Just leave it to us." said Brock.
"Huh?" said Misty.
"Leave it…." said Ash.
"To us?" asked Misty.
"He's volunteering us." said Trixie.
"Pika. Rio." said Pikachu and Meeko.
"We'll take care of it." said Brock. "Ash, don't you and Trixie each have a fighting Pokémon we can use?"
"What are you talking about?" asked Ash.
"Yeah." said Trixie.
"You don't mean Ash's Primeape, don't you?" Misty asked, chuckling nervously.
"Primeape!" shouted Primeape, dodging Charmander's flamethrower as it wore Ash's hat and beats up Charmander. "Ape-prime!"
"To be honest, Alfie is actually really sweet. And we can't forget about Meeko." said Trixie. "She's a fighting type too."
"Yeah, Primeape and Alfie should be able to do the job." said Ash.
"And I've got Geodude." said Brock. "The two of us will enter the tournament and defeat that Hitmonchan while Alfie and Meeko cheers us on."
"That sounds like a great idea, Brock." said Trixie, holding Alfie's Pokeball.
"Riolu!" said Meeko.
"A big Pokémon match." said James as he and Team Rocket look at the poster.
"And feast your eyes on that prize." said Meowth.
"I'd love to get my hands on that championship belt." said Jessie.
"And if we sold the belt, we could go and stuff ourselves at the all you can eat buffet." said James.
"Unlimited food." said Meowth, drooling a bit as he daydreams about all the food they could eat. "Honey-glazed ham, roast leg of lamb, strawberry jam."
"Sirloin steaks, chocolate cakes." added James.
"Can't you numbskulls think of anything but food?" asked Jessie with fans in her hands, hitting Meowth and James.
"What would you do with the money, Jessie?" asked Meowth with a fan marked face.
"Who me?" she asked Meowth.
"Yes, Jessie. What would you do if you had some extra cash?" asked James.
"Oh, first I'd go to the salon and get a complete facial." said Jessie. "Then I'd get my hair and makeup done. And then I'd go on a major shopping spree. Dresses, then handbags, then shoes. Then I'd do a bit of jewelry shopping. And after all that, I'd invite some close friends over for a nice quiet dinner at home."
"I hate to interrupt your internal dream sequence, but shouldn't we figure out how to get into this competition?" James asked her. "Only fighting Pokémon are allowed."
"Of which we currently have none." Meowth chimed in.
"Well, then, we'll just have to borrow one, wont we?" asked Jessie. "All we have to do is find one. Hmm."
Jessie then looks over her should and sees a tall man in a trench coat, walking with a Hitmonlee. "Like that one there." she said.
"What is it?" asked Meowth.
"Hitmonlee, the kicking fiend." said James.
"Ah." Meowth said in awe.
Firecrackers went off as the competition begins. "Ladies and gentlemen, our fighting Pokémon festival, the P1 Grand Prix, is about to begin." said a male announcer.
Inside, Jessie and James were wearing a trench coat. "Now we've got our fighting Pokémon." said Jessie, holding Hitmonlee's Pokeball then turns back to the man, who was now tied up. "Thank you. Please remain seated."
"The contestants in the P1 Grand Prix are about to enter the ring." said the announcer. "Introducing the number one contender, the fighting machine Hitmonchan and its trainer Anthony."
"Hitmon." said Hitmonlee, demonstrating a kick.
"And now the challenger, the kicking fiend, Hitmonlee, along with its trainer Giant." said the announcer.
"I recognize that hair." said Trixie, watching Jessie wave to the crowd.
"Riolu?" asked Meeko.
"Yeah. What are they up to now?" said Trixie as Jessie starts to fall over.
"Stand up straight. You're making me dizzy." Jessie tells James.
"I'm tired." complained James. "Let's trade places. Ah!"
"Quit complaining!" she said, hurting his head with her knees.
"Now, ladies and gentlemen, two new Pokémon trainers competing here in their P1 debut." said the announcer as Brock and Ash appeared in the ring while Misty, Rebecca and Pikachu sat in the audience. Trixie was standing out of the ring with Alfie and Meeko by her side. "Please welcome Ash and Brock."
"Oh, no, not you again." said Jessie, recognizing Ash and Brock.
"Huh?" said Ash, looking up at Jessie. "Hmm…."
"Hey, Ash, what's the matter?" Brock asked.
"Uh, nothing, I guess." he said.
"And now for our first match, Machop is ready to battle." said the announcer. "What Pokémon will Ash use to challenge it?"
"That's a Machop?" asked Trixie. "It looks like it barely works out."
"I choose you, Primeape." said Ash.
"Primeape!" said Primeape, then growls as it looks around the boxing ring. "Primeape!"
"Mankey!" said Alfie, gaining his friend's attention. "Mankey, Mank!"
"Prime?" it asked as Alfie nodded.
"Machop." said Machop.
"Primeape." said Primeape, facing Machop as they growled at each other. A bell dings, signaling for the fight to begin. Machop uses Karate Chop on Primeape, knocking it back.
"Primeape!" yelled Primeape as it was knocked back into its corner.
"Get up, Primeape." said Ash and Trixie.
"Riolu!" shouted Meeko.
"Mankey!" said Alfie, shaking Primeape's arm.
"It looks beat." said Brock.
"And it looks like Machop has the advantage in the battle with Primeape." said the announcer as Primeape gets up. "Machop may be small, but it sure packs plenty of power."
Primeape growls as it jumps into the air and uses Low Jump Kick, causing Machop to catch it's foot. "This looks bad." said Misty.
"Pikachu."
"Machop's mega-muscle power stops Primeape's kick cold." said the announcer as Machop swings Primeape around with its foot. "It looks like Machop's getting ready for its special attack."
"Special attack?" asked Ash, taking out Dexter.
"What special attack?" asked Trixie.
"Machop. Its body is pure muscle. Its special attack is the Seismic Toss." said Dexter.
"Oh, no. It's going to toss Primeape." said Ash.
"Ready!" said Trixie as she, Alfie and Meeko had a blanket with them.
"Whats the blanket for?" Ash asked.
"To catch Primeape if it ever goes flying out of the ring." replied Trixie.
"That's a great idea." said Brock.
"Machop." grunted Machop as it spins Primeape around and lets go of its foot.
"Primeape." said Primeape, being thrown back and out of the ring.
"Ah! Trixie, help!" said Ash as Trixie, Meeko and Alfie rushed after him. "Primeape."
Trixie, Meeko and Alfie had the blanket out, catching not only Primeape, but Ash as well. "Look what we caught, you guys." said Trixie, looking down at her brother as Primeape lands on his back.
"Olu! Mankey!" said Meeko and Alfie. Misty and Rebecca gasped at the sight. Primeape looks up in concern as it sees Trixie, Meeko and Alfie helped Ash up.
"Primeape, are you okay?" Ash asked, causing tears to form in Primeape's eyes.
"Speak to us, Primeape." said Trixie.
"Primeape." it said, ready to go.
"All right, good." said Ash. "Now, we're not going to quit."
"Primeape!" said Primeape.
"You kick that Machop's muscle butt." said Trixie.
"Primeape!" said Primeape, raising its hands towards her and Alfie.
"Mankey! Mankey!" said Alfie, softly punching Primeape's hand.
"Watch out for that Seismic Toss and give it everything you got." said Ash.
"Primeape." said Primeape.
"That's amazing." said Misty.
"What's amazing?" Rebecca asked.
"Primeape used to do just what it wanted and never listened to anybody." Misty explained. "But now it's taking orders from Ash."
"Pika." said Pikachu.
"Primeape, scratch attack." said Ash.
"Primeape. Primeape." said Primeape, scratching Machop up.
"Jump, Primeape." said Ash and Primeape jumps into the air.
"Prime….attack."
"Mega Kick right now." Ash said to Primeape, who then kicks Machop in its side.
"Machop." said Machop, getting kicked in its side.
"Primeape. Primeape." said Primeape.
"We did it." said Ash, smiling as Machop was knock on its back.
"Go Primeape!" said Trixie, dancing with Alfie and Meeko.
"And this match is over." said the announcer. "Machop is down and out. Ash's Primeape wins the battle."
"That Primeape, it's really tough." said Anthony.
"Monchan." said Hitmonchan.
"It seems like everything changed when Ash dove to save Primeape." said Misty. "With Jordan's help of course. That's when Primeape started to trust Ash and Trixie."
"Pika, Pika." Pikachu said in agreement.
"Primeape. Primeape. Primeape." growled Primeape with its hand in the air and a proud Ash.
"Our next match is between Hitmonlee and Geodude." said the announcer. "Fans, Geodude is hard as a rock. Will Hitmonlee be able to crack Geodude?"
"Doubt it." Trixie whispered as Meeko and Alfie giggles.
"Rebecca, don't worry." said Brock, waving to her and Misty in the audience. "Everything's under control."
"Brock, watch out behind you." Rebecca called out.
"Huh?" said Brock, confused as Geodude lands on his neck.
"Eh! That's gotta hurt." said Trixie as Brock groans, falling to the ground.
"Riolu. Mankey." said Meeko and Alfie.
"Monlee." said Hitmonlee as it kicked Geodude.
"This won't take very long." said Jessie.
"Ah! Geodude, this time, hit Hitmonlee." said Brock, rubbing the back of his head that now has a sizeable bump.
"Dude." said Geodude and heads for Hitmonlee.
"Don't show any mercy." said Jessie. "Kick, kick, kick."
"Hitmonlee. Lee, lee, lee…." said Hitmonlee as it kicks all over Geodude.
"Geodude's going to get turned onto gravel." said Ash. "Brock."
"Do something." said Trixie.
"Brock." they said as Brock groans, not knowing what to do until Anthony hands him a red towel.
"Huh?" said Brock.
"If you're a real man, you know when you have to admit defeat. Time to face facts. You can lose today and win tomorrow." Anthony said to Brock.
"Wise man." said Ash.
"A very wise man." said Trixie.
"Right." said Brock, taking the red towel and throws it into the ring.
"Fans, Brock has thrown in the towel." the announcer said to the crowd as the bell rings, ending the round.
"Geodude." said Brock as he, Ash and Trixie ran over. "I'm sorry. Are you okay?"
"Geo." said Geodude.
"You don't have to apologize. You gave it your best shot." said Brock.
"Dude." said Geodude.
"Don't worry, you'll be as solid as rock again soon." Brock tells it.
"Primeape and I will take care of things now, Brock." said Ash.
"I'm counting on you, Ash." said Brock.
"Right." he replied.
"Which is more than I can say for me and I'm your sister." said Trixie.
"You're my only sister, Trixie." said Ash.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah." said Trixie, waving him off.
"Machoke wins!" shouted the announcer as round after round came and went.
"Monchan." said Hitmonchan, hitting Machoke in the face.
"Hitmonlee." said Hitmonlee, kicking another Machoke.
"Primeape." said Primeape, scratching a third Machoke.
"Yay!" cheered Misty from the crowd, making Rebecca and Pikachu feel embarrassed.
"Now Ash's Primeape will advance to the final match, while the Fighting Spirit Gym's very own Hitmonchan, the number one contender at this tournament, takes on the legendary kicking fiend Hitmonlee for a chance at the championship." said the announcer.
"This is a tough opponent." Jessie said to James. "If we play fair, we may lose."
"Not with the plan I cooked up with Meowth." said James, popping his head out of the trench coat. "And speaking of cooking, I'm broiling in here."
"Get back in." Jessie ordered.
"Hmm." said a teary James.
"Keep on moving. Keep on fighting." said Anthony. "Remember, you're a champion."
"Monchan." said Hitmonchan, nodding at Anthony and the bell rings, signaling the start of the fight. "Hitmonchan. Hit. Hitmon. Hit."
Hitmonchan's fist and Hitmonlee's foot came into contact, causing both Pokémon to glare intensely at each other. "Monlee."
"Chan."
"Got to be smart. Got to be strong." Anthony said to Hitmonchan. "Got to keep moving."
"Lee, lee, lee….." said Hitmonlee, using Mega Kick.
"Hitmonchan. Hitmonchan." said Hitmonchan, dodging Hitmonlee's attack.
"Hitmonlee is not landing any kicks." said Jessie.
"We've got to slow Hitmonchan down." said Meowth, holding a syringe of an unknown substance. "And a little gloppy glue should do it."
Pushing the syringe through the boxing ring floor, Meowth releases the glue in which Hitmonchan steps in. "Hitmonchan. Chan." said Hitmonchan, confused as it tries to pull its foot free.
"Hitmonlee!" shouted Hitmonlee as its foot hits Hitmonchan.
"Hitmonchan's in trouble." said the announcer. "Hitmonlee's Mega Kick is getting the best of Hitmonchan."
"Hitmonchan!" Anthony called out.
"This is dangerous." said Brock. "You should forfeit the match right now."
"Lee, lee, lee…." said Hitmonlee, continuing its Mega Kick.
"Finish it, Hitmonlee." said Jessie.
"Hitmonlee." said Hitmonlee, making the final blow on Hitmonchan.
"Stop it!" shouted Rebecca, jumping in front of Hitmonchan. "Don't hurt my father's Pokémon."
"Rebecca." cried Anthony as Ash, Brock and Trixie gasped before stepping in and gets knocked back himself.
"Mankey!" screamed Alfie, pointing to Anthony.
"Aw. Are you all right?" asked Ash.
"I'm fine. Don't worry about me." said Anthony.
"Oh, daddy." said Rebecca, walking up to her father with tears in her eyes.
"(Grunts) Are you hurt, Rebecca?" he asked, standing up.
"No, I'm fine." she tells him.
"I'm glad." said Anthony, causing her to chuckle a bit as he throws in the towel. "I give up."
"Anthony throws in the towel." said the announcer as the bell rings to end the match. "Hitmonlee is the winner."
"Eh, good work, Hitmonchan." said Anthony, walking out of the ring. "Are you okay?"
"Monchan." it said and looks up at Rebecca.
"I'm sorry I worry you and your mother so much." Anthony said to Rebecca.
"Oh, daddy." said a tearful Rebecca.
"That's my girl." said Anthony.
"Isn't that great?" asked Ash.
"Sure is." said Trixie.
"The family's back together." said Brock.
"That means we're up against Hitmonlee." said Ash.
"That's right." said Brock.
"Your battling brought them back together." said Misty with Pikachu in her arms. "And now all Ash needs to do is win one more time to be champion."
"Pikachu." said Pikachu, nodding in agreement.
"Riolu. Mankey." said Meeko and Alfie.
"Don't bet on it." said Jessie, causing the quartet to turn around the corner.
"Huh?"
"I can't wait for the chance to show you four little goody goodies what losers you are." said Jessie. "You don't stand a chance against us. We're going to win that championship belt."
"And after we do, you can find us at the all-you-can-eat buffet table." said James, popping out of the trench coat, causing Jessie to hit him. "Oh!"
"Will you be quiet?" she asked.
"It's them again." said Ash.
"Team Rocket." said Misty.
"How did you ever guess?" asked Jessie and takes off their disguise. "Ha!"
"To protect the world from devastation…"
"To untie all peoples within our nation…."
"To denounce the evils of truth and love…"
"To extend our reach to the st…Oh, I can't take it." said James, crumbling underneath Jessie as his face became red.
"Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light." said Jessie.
"Surrender now." said James as he starts falling to the floor.
"Ah." said Jessie.
"Surrender now or prepare to….Prepare to….." said a sobbing James.
"Uh, we're not finished." said Jessie.
"I knew I recognized her hair under that hat." said Trixie, then looks at James. "How long have you been under that trench coat?"
"From the beginning of the grand P1." he tells her.
"Riolu." said Meeko.
"Mankey." said Alfie.
"It's creepy, you guys." said Trixie as he and Jessie pop up from the floor.
"As I was saying, we are going to be the winners around here." said Jessie.
"And you can bet your buffet on that." James added.
"And now for the final confrontation." said the announcer after the bell. "Primeape, a newcomer who's battled to this last round with tremendous attacks, faces the ferocious footwork of Hitmonlee, the kicking fiend. Get ready, fans, for a match you'll never forget."
"You can't just defend yourself, Primeape." said Ash. "Attack."
"Mankey, Key!" shouted Alfie, agreeing with Ash.
"Riol!" Meeko shouted, telling Primeape to fight back.
"If you can't get inside Hitmonlee's kicks, you'll never win the battle, Primeape." said Anthony.
"Primeape, get in there and show Hitmonlee that you're not afraid." said Ash.
"Punch that Hitmonlee hard!" said Trixie.
"Riolu!" said Meeko.
"Primeape." said Primeape, ducking Hitmonlee's kick.
"You did it." said Brock.
"All right." said Ash and Trixie as Primeape growls and goes into a full-on Thrash session on Hitmonlee.
"What are you doing?" Jessie asked Hitmonlee.
"Kick it. Kick it." said James. Meowth comes out from under the boxing ring when Pikachu, Trixie and Meeko wondered what was interesting underneath there.
"Pikachu." said Pikachu.
"Riolu." said Meeko.
"We gotta do something." said Trixie.
"The secret weapon is ready." said Meowth.
"Aha." beamed James.
"All you have to do now is use this remote control." said Meowth, handing it over to James. "Have Hitmonlee jump up, and then hit the switch. A hundred thousand volts will run through the ring followed by an explosion. Primeape will get a charge out of that. (Cackles)"
"Pika. Pika, Pi." said Pikachu as he and Trixie pull on Ash's clothes.
"What is it, you two?" he asked.
"Pikachu. Pikachu. Pikachu." said Pikachu.
"We think that Team Rocket is planning to do something to the ring." said Trixie.
"Pika." said Pikachu, nodding.
"Look, I don't have time for this now, okay?" asked Ash. "Plus I doubt that Team Rocket would do anything anyways. Hang in there, Primeape."
"Pika." said Pikachu.
"Looks like we'll just have to do it ourselves." said Trixie. The three of them went round the boxing ring, looking for whatever Meowth had planted. "Pika." said Pikachu, nodding in agreement.
"Riolu." said Meeko.
"It's here somewhere." said Trixie as the three of them crawled under the ring.
"Monlee." said Hitmonlee, jumping as high as it can and stands on one corner of the ring.
"Hit it." said Jessie.
"You got it." said James, hitting the remote control. Just then, nothing happened. There was no electrical charge to cause pain to Primeape.
"Nothing's happening." said Jessie.
"Something's wrong?" asked Meowth.
"Hitmonlee." shouted Hitmonlee as it goes for its final strike.
"Primeape." said Primeape, jumping into the air and grabbing Hitmonlee. "Primeape."
"All right." said Ash. "Use the Seismic Toss now, Primeape."
"Oh, no." said Jessie and James.
"This is bad." said Meowth.
"Primeape." growled Primeape as it uses Seismic Toss on Hitmonlee, slamming it hard on the floor.
"We did it." said Ash.
"Mankey!" cheered Alfie with his hand in the air.
"Hitmonlee." groaned Hitmonlee in defeat as its legs fell to the ground.
"And it's all over." said the announcer as the crowd was stunned. "Primeape defeats Hitmonlee with a Seismic Toss. Ash's Primeape wins by a knockout. Primeape is the new P1 Pokémon Grand Prix Champion."
"We did it! All right!" shouted Ash before turning to Primeape. "Its prime time for Primeape."
"Primeape. Primeape." said Primeape, jumping on one foot.
"I'm proud of you, Primeape." said Ash, beaming at his Pokémon. "Congratulations."
"Primeape." said Primeape.
"Ash, this Primeape has got a lot of natural fighting talent." said Anthony.
"You think so?" he asked.
"Mm-hm." said Anthony. "Why don't you let me train it for a while? I promise to turn it into a real P1 champion."
"A true P1 champion." Ash said to himself.
"What went wrong, Meowth?" asked Jessie angrily.
"What happened to our secret weapon?" asked an angry James.
"Pika." said Pikachu as he, Trixie and Meeko appeared from under the ring.
"Hey, Team Rocket. We found something of yours." said Trixie.
"Riolu." said Meeko.
"Pikachu." said Pikachu, handing the secret weapon over to Meowth.
"Here it is." said Meowth, holding it out from him. "It looks like it still works."
"You know, things like that shouldn't be hiding under there." said Trixie. "You could've really hurt someone or some Pokémon very badly."
"Riolu, Olu." said Meeko, nodding in agreement.
"Good to know." said Meowth.
"Pika." said Pikachu as the three of them walked away from Team Rocket.
"Really appreciate it." Meowth said as Pikachu waves to them when it finally went off in his hands.
"Ah!" screamed Team Rocket, feeling the electric shock that wasn't caused by Pikachu and the device exploded. "Team Rocket's blasting off again."
"Prime. Prime." said Primeape as it held Ash's hand, saying it's goodbye. Alfie was out of his Pokeball with tears in his eyes as he held Trixie's hand. "Please take care of Primeape. I'm counting on you." Ash said to Anthony and Rebecca.
"(Chuckles) There's no need to worry." said Anthony. "You can depend on me."
"And I'll make sure that my father spends lots of time with our family." said Rebecca.
"Mm-hm." he said, nodding.
"Prime. Primeape." Primeape said to Alfie, pointing to Ash and Trixie.
"Mankey, Man, Key." said Alfie, nodding vigorously.
"Looks like Primeape made Alfie promise to look after us." said Trixie.
"That's fine with me." said Ash, smiling as he faces Primeape again. "You keep on training and winning, Primeape, and I'll always be grateful and proud that I knew a real P1 champion."
"Prime. Primeape." said Primeape, tearing up.
"And who knows," said Trixie, gaining Primeape's attention. "maybe the next time you see us, Alfie will have evolved into a Primeape."
"Primeape!" said Primeape, giving her a thumbs up.
"Mm. Bye." said Ash and the others as they head out on the road.
"Good bye and thank you." said Rebecca.
"Nice kid." said Anthony.
Narrator: Just when they were beginning to understand each other, Ash and Primeape go their separate ways. Maybe they'll meet again someday somewhere.
Trixie: Who knows where that might be. I do hope that we do meet Primeape again.
Narrator: That's something to look forward to. But for now, new Pokémon and new challenges are waiting just ahead.
