Chapter One: KISS World
"Like I can't believe we get to go to KISS World." Shaggy says as the group is in the van.
"And we are solving a mystery too while there." Alexis says.
"That's like killing two birds with one stone." Velma says as she, Shaggy, Scooby-Doo and Daphne are all dressed up like the members of the KISS band.
"Yeah. Or two birds with one cat." Scooby-Doo says happily.
"Personally I find their sideshow act a little juvenile. But my mother told me to take a more active role in my friends' interests." Velma says.
"Well I'm pretty interested in Starchild. He's so dreamy. Say Alexis how come you didn't wanna dress up? I know Starchild has always been your favorite of the band too." Daphne says as she looks at Alexis.
"I'm excited but I just prefer my usual clothes." Alexis says as she smiles shyly.
"I wish you'd all come to your senses. You don't see me acting ridiculous over my favorite group the Ascot Five do you?" Fred asks annoyedly as he plays some music.
"Fred please." Daphne says as she looks at Fred.
"I'm just saying I they're twice the band KISS is." Fred says.
"But do the Ascot Five have an awesome park?" Shaggy asks.
"Yeah. Awesome park." Scooby-Doo asks as Fred gives an annoyed look.
*Timeskip*
"It is so majorly groovy to be at KISS World on Halloween night." Daphne says as the group gets out of the van and walks toward the gates.
"Listen to those crowds." Shaggy says hearing a crowd.
"I'm so excited. I think I'm gonna freak out." Daphne says excitedly.
"Uh I think you're a bit late there Daph." Alexis says as people flee from the park entrance.
"Like dude don't most people usually run towards awesome rock concerts?" Shaggy asks confusedly.
"Not at an Five concert. Everyone walks in a calm orderly fashion." Fred says as people are shouting about a witch while running.
"Are they shouting witch?" Alexis asks.
"Wait a minute. The Demon, the Starchild, the Catman, the Spaceman. Please tell me they added a witch." Shaggy says fearfully.
"Somehow I doubt that. In fact it's probably the reason we're here." Velma says.
"Not me. I'm here for the funnel cake." Scooby-Doo says happily.
"You guys and food I swear." Alexis says as she chuckles.
"Come on gang. Let's get to work." Fred says as the group walks toward some security people.
"Hello ma'am." Alexis says kindly.
"Sorry. Park's closed." The woman says coldly.
"But we're here to solve a mystery." Shaggy says.
"Sure you are. You always wear makeup when solving crimes?" The woman asks.
"I should hope so." Daphne says as she scoffs.
"I think she means the KISS makeup Daph." Alexis says as she looks at Daphne.
"No we're just excited about the concert tonight. But we're the mystery solvers you called for." Velma says.
"I am Delilah Domino. Chief of security. Why would I call mystery solvers?" The woman asks.
"What? But Daphne took the call. Right Daph?" Fred asks as everyone looks at Daphne.
"Well..." Daphne says nervously.
"Daphne." Alexis says as she crosses her arms.
"Okay. The thing is no one actually called for our help." Daphne says.
"What?" The group asks.
"But when I heard KISS was throwing a special Halloween concert I just had to come. I mean look at that poster of Starchild. He stares at me wherever I go." Daphne says as she gestures to a poster.
"So does the Mona Lisa but you don't see us on a to Italy." Fred says annoyedly.
"Why didn't you just tell us the truth?" Velma asks.
"Yeah. We all would have come." Alexis says.
"Not me." Fred says.
"Exactly. But once we got here I knew we'd all have a good time. The odds were pretty good there'd be a mystery for us to solve. I mean we're the Scooby gang and it's an amusement park. Right?" Daphne asks.
"Wrong. It's a closed amusement park. And chances are there won't be any Halloween concert either. So go home." Delilah says sternly.
"But we've come so far. Couldn't we at least have some snacks for the road? Maybe some rocky road?" Shaggy asks.
"Out." The woman says sternly.
*Timeskip*
"All right. Time to get serious. It seems KISS needs our help." Velma says as she and the others wipe off their makeup.
"Like I'm no guitarist but I can play a mean armpit." Shaggy says.
"She means to solve the mystery Shaggy." Alexis says.
"Well then it looks like we'll have to sneak in." Fred says.
"Haven't had to do that in a long while." Alexis says.
"You're okay with this?" Daphne asks as everyone looks at Fred.
"Of course I am. It's a mystery right? And solving mysteries is what we do." Fred says.
*Timeskip*
"Did you hear that?" Velma asks as the group is listening to Delilah talk to a man while hiding.
"Sounds like our timing is still as good as always." Alexis says.
"Come on. Let's check out the supervisor's office." Fred says as the gang follows the man to his office while staying outside the window as they listen to him talk to another man.
"Hey where's Scooby and Shaggy?" Alexis asks seeing Scooby-Doo and Shaggy are gone before the group sees them running.
"Shaggy, Scooby wait!" Fred shouts before Scooby-Doo and Shaggy run into Delilah.
"Oh no." Alexis says as she shakes her head.
"You!? I thought I told you kids to stay out." Delilah says angrily as the two men come running over.
"Hey, hey, hey. Whoa! Whoa! Calm down. I'm Manny Goldman. The park supervisor. What's with all the ruckus?" The man asks.
"It's these nosy kids again. Fortunately I used to work for a government defense company... So I know how to take down intruders." Delilah says as she holds Scooby-Doo and Shaggy.
"Like she's not kidding." Shaggy says.
"Sorry everyone. We don't mean any harm. We're just trying to help. Also please and kindly put down Scooby and Shaggy." Alexis says as Delilah puts Shaggy and Scooby-Doo down before they run to behind Alexis.
"We heard that the park is in trouble. And seeing how we're such big KISS fans we'd like to do all that we can." Daphne says.
"We've got it under control. Thank you very much." Delilah says.
"But don't you want the crowds to come back to the park?" Fred asks.
"Oh they'll come back. To see us." A voice says revealing to be Starchild and the rest of the KISS band.
"Come on guys. Those special effects cost money. I told you. You can't use them every time you make an entrance." A man in a green suit says as he sweeps up confetti from a confetti canon as Daphne runs over and wraps her arms around Starchild's neck.
"Whoa. Wow. It's KISS!" Shaggy shouts happily.
"In the person!" Scooby-Doo says.
"And in the flesh." Daphne says happily.
"In the flesh is the same as in the person. So basically you just said the same thing twice." Fred says as Daphne glares at him.
"Come on Fred. Leave her be. Besides you got to admit it is pretty amazing getting to meet the band." Alexis says as she smiles before seeing Starchild looking at her and shyly looks away before putting her hood up.
"How can we help little lady?" Starchild asks as he smiles at Alexis causing her to nervously blush.
"Actually we're here to help you. We're mystery solvers." Velma says as she walks up to the band.
"That's funny. So are we." Spaceman says.
"You are?" Alexis asks in surprise.
"Wait. You're the ones they called for help?" Velma asks.
"Yeah. They wanted the best. They got the best." Demon says.
"But like you're a rock band?" Shaggy asks.
"Every band needs a hobby." Catman says.
"Pretty creative hobby I've got to admit." Alexis says kindly.
"The Ascot Five would welcome our help." The blonde haired boy says.
"Well I guess we're no Ascot Five. So scram." Demon says as he and the band then start laughing except for Starchild.
"Yeah? Well theme park mysteries happen to be our specialty. We solved the Foul Play in Funland case, stopped the Roller Ghoster in his tracks... and captured the monster of Our Lady of Mercy's lot. I guess that was more of a street fair." Fred says.
"That's cute but we solve mysteries on a cosmic level." Spaceman says.
"Cosmic level?" Alexis asks.
"What does that mean?" Velma asks.
"It means we don't need your help." Demon says.
"Now hold on guys. On second thought we've decided you can help." Starchild says as he pulls the band into a group huddle before coming over to the group.
"That's great. So I guess the first question is. Who is this witch everyone's talking about?" Daphne asks.
