As the Elite 4 of Paldea gathered to meet their mysterious guest, they couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation and excitement. They had been given very little information about who they were about to meet, but they trusted their boss, Geeta, and knew that this was an important meeting. When the guest finally arrived, a hush fell over the Pokémon Center, and a collective gasp echoed through the air. It was none other than Ash Ketchum, the reigning Monarch of the world, standing before them in person. The Elite 4 couldn't believe their luck - meeting the most powerful person in the world was an honor they had never thought possible.
As Ash and Pikachu stood before the Elite 4 of Paldea, an awkward silence descended upon the center. The members of the Elite 4 were in awe of the world champion and his iconic companion. They each took a moment to observe Ash and Pikachu, studying them intently as they tried to process the fact that they were standing in the presence of such legendary figures.
The intense staring of the Elite 4 was starting to make Ash and Pikachu feel a bit nervous. They could sense the tension and were unsure of what to expect from the four Trainers. In an effort to break the awkwardness, Ash spoke up. "H-Hi," he stammered, drawing the attention of the Elite 4. "I'm Ash and this here is Pikachu. Miss Geeta told us to meet you guys at the Pokémon Center so you can show us around Paldea. It's nice to meet you. I hope we can get along and perhaps battle at some point," he said, trying to force a grin.
Ash's attempt to break the tension was met with yet another awkward silence. It seemed as though the Elite 4 were still processing the fact that they were in the presence of the reigning Monarch of the world. Ash couldn't help but feel a bit self-conscious, wondering if he had said something wrong to make them so speechless. He shifted uncomfortably, waiting for someone to speak up and break the silence once again.
However, Ash and Pikachu were met with an unexpected uproar of cheers and greets, and even sudden crying from Hassel. The sudden outburst startled Ash and Pikachu, who were taken aback by the sudden change in atmosphere. Hassel, in particular, was overcome with emotion and tears streamed down his face as he expressed his admiration for the world champion.
Poppy, the smallest Elite 4 member, approached Ash with a beaming smile on her face. "Oh, Monarch! To think the Monarch's actually here! I hope you and Poppy can become the best of friends!" she chirped, her happy-go-lucky tone infectious. She then turned her attention to Pikachu. "And your Pikachu's so cute too!" she exclaimed, waving happily at the Electric-type. Pikachu couldn't help but wave back, its own cheerful demeanor matching that of Poppy's. Ash couldn't help but smile at the young girl's enthusiasm.
Larry, the man of few words, remained quiet as Poppy and Ash exchanged pleasantries. When it was his turn to introduce himself, he simply nodded and said, "I'm Larry. Good to meet you." His tone was polite but reserved, and Ash couldn't help but wonder what was going on in the Elite 4 member's mind.
Nonetheless, he returned the nod and replied, "Good to meet you too, Larry."
Hassel's emotional outburst continued as he gushed over Ash's presence in the Pokémon Center. "M-MARVELOUS!" he exclaimed, placing his hands over his eyes and crying tears of joy. "To think the young Monarch has blessed us with his presence. This is such a great honor!" His laughter mixed with his tears as he continued to express his excitement.
As Hassel continued to cry, Rika's attention was drawn to Ash. She fixed her gaze on the young champion with an amused smile, cupping her chin in her hand as she studied him. "To think at such a young age, you've accomplished so much. No wonder Geeta's so interested in you," the tomboyish Elite 4 member commented. She then added, "So am I, kiddo," she admitted, her tone suggesting a grudging respect for Ash's achievements. Ash couldn't help but feel a bit flattered by Rika's interest, though her sharp gaze made him a bit uneasy.
"I'm curious if Miss Nemona would like to meet you too, Ash," Poppy wondered aloud which drew Ash's curiousity.
"Nemona?" Ash repeated, his mind racing to remember who she was until he recalled something that Geeta had told him before he arrived in Paldea. "Oh, that's right! Miss Geeta mentioned that Paldea has two Champions, and she's a strong Trainer who loves to battle every day." The Elite 4, including the still teary-eyed Hassel, nodded in agreement, confirming that the information was indeed true. "Awesome! I really hope I get to meet her and maybe even battle her someday." Suddenly, his excitement was cut short when he noticed Larry, Poppy, and Rika all looking startled and staring at something or someone behind him. "Are you guys okay? Why does it look like there's someone standing right behind me?" As they all nodded, Ash slowly turned around and caught sight of a pair of sparkling eyes staring intently at him.
As it turned out, the person standing behind Ash was none other than Nemona herself. She had heard the news that the strongest champion in the world was visiting Paldea and couldn't resist rushing over from the Academy to meet Ash in person. Her drool-lined mouth gave away her eagerness to engage in a battle and test her skills against the top-tier Trainer. Ash and Pikachu couldn't help but feel a bit uneasy in her presence. Suddenly, without warning, the battle-hungry girl lunged forward at Ash, ready to engage in a fierce battle.
"AAAHHHHHHHHH!" Ash's piercing scream echoed throughout the Pokémon Center.
Well...Ash and Nemona finally met and Nemona couldn't help herself! XD
