[80 AC]

I put down my newly empty goblet onto the table as I watched the wedding unfold as the Lords, Ladies, and servants were celebrating .

"My prince," A maid came next to me and started pouring water in my goblet.

"Hello Ann, how's Geralt's fever?" I asked

"He's doing find My Prince, the medicine you produce from the Grand Maester has all but erase his fever. He only needs to rest." Anne said and I smiled at that as she pour water into my goblet. Once she was done she left to fulfill her other duties.

It was difficult as today was proving to be quite the bittersweet experience. I wanted to be happy for Daella, gods know she was practically bursting with joy for the ceremony and feast later today, but I just couldn't find it in myself to match her enthusiasm. In many ways it felt not as if I were celebrating the start of a new chapter in her life, but rather the beginning of the end of it.

While I was never close to her it was still saddening to see her leave and never come back. A small part of me hopes that me being here will somehow change her fate but I doubt it.

I looked over to Saerra who was blushing like a maiden at the heir of Maidenpool Jonah Mooton. Which left a bad feeling in my gut, my memories about Saerra are blurry but I know she was exiled and Jonah was mentioned. Probably he took her maidenhood or something like that.

I better keep a close eye on Jonah to make sure he doesn't pull a Daemon. And if he plans on doing that to Saerra then Starfyre will have a good barbeque.

"Uncle Gaemon," I heard a familiar voice enter my ears to see Rhaenys "The Queen Who Never Was" Targaryen. Yet she was not the Rider of Meleys, it will happen in about four years. A saddening thought that many of his siblings' deaths will be caused by things he could never control.

Unlike the rest of the Targaryen family Rhaenys had pitch black hair and lilac. If Robert Baratheon were to ever to meet Rhaenys he probably would have thrown a fit. She is wearing a red dress with yellow highlights.

"How many times have I told you Rhaenys you don't have to call me Uncle. We are practically the same age," I said with a nervous smile.

I was a cousin but never an Uncle. Died too young to ever think of being a father to be frank. So being called Uncle by someone the same age as me physically is really strange. Especially since I'm now a fucking Targaryen! Meaning I will have to watch out for Jaehaerys for marrying me and Rhaenys.

Which will lead to serious health problems. Which will mostly be caused by Viserra!

"My apologies Gaemon." Rhaenys said and I looked at her

"Why are you here?" I asked curiously

"I wanted to get away from all…that." Rhaenys said as she pointed to her would suitors.

"Fair, so pretend to have an idle chit-chat or do you have anything you want to talk about?" I asked and Rhaenys sighed.

"What's it like to fly?" Rhaenys asked and I blinked at that.

"Aemon never took you flying?" I asked in surprise because I know both Baelon and Alyssa took Viserys flying when he was five. But then again those were the irresponsible pair of siblings in our family.

"No, mother refused father at every turn." Rhaenys said and I chuckled that I could see. While I don't know Jocelyn all that well but knowing how stubborn both Robert and Stannis were in the show and books, they would probably stare down a dragon and make it blink first. Especially Stannis the Mannis.

"So you want me to take you flying on Starfyre?" I asked in amusement. Starfyre had just barely grown into a mammoth size dragon. Big enough to fly two people.

"Beloved Niece," I felt a chill go down my back to see Viserra in a black and red dress. She was glaring at Rhaenys.

"Hello Aunt Viserra," Rhaenys said either ignoring Viserra's threat or completely oblivious.

"Rhaenys was just asking if she could ride Starfyre." I said hastily and Viserra blinked at that the smile

"Oh, did your parents approve?" Viserra asked and Rhaenys stayed quiet which was all Viserra needed.

"Did it not occur to you that you might get Gaemon might get in trouble?" Viserra said and I took affront to that!

"What makes you think I would even take her flying?" I asked out loud and Viserra just gave me a flat look. Which I pointedly ignored, sure I was bored out of my mind and would rather fly in the night sky filled with stars…okay Viserra might have a better read on me then I thought.

"I would assume…" Rhaenys begins but Viserra cuts her off.

"When Gaemon first snuck out to ride Starfyre for the first time he was severely punished. A year cleaning up feeding the dragons and picking their droppings and scales." Viserra said and I mentally shrugged.

The punishment was more of a blessing. It gave me the knowledge to probably care for a dragon, allow me to get up close to them, and allow me to mingle with the Dragonkeepers.

"Surely Gaemon isn't afraid of such things since he freely admitted to pouring a bucket of water on grandfather during court." Rhaenys said and I smiled at that. It took me an entire week to prepare the mechanism of my prank and to subtly sneak through the castle at night to set-up the prank.

"Gaemon has become more mature," No I haven't, pranks are one of the few pieces of entertainment I have in the era, "and would never risk upsetting father or mother nor your father in endangering the future Queen of the Seven Kingdoms." Viserra said with jealousy lace in her voice.

It was understandable that Viserra would be jealous of Rhaenys. Aemon and Jocelyn showered Rhaenys with so much affection that it becomes a bit unbearable to watch sometimes. Compare that to the love Viserra and Saerra got from Alysanne or Jaehaerys would be the ocean to the desert.

Though they have gotten much better and giving Saerra and Viserra the love that they needed the past two years. But it wasn't enough to make up for the absence in their developmental part of stage.

As the tension between Rhaenys and Viserra became thicker I felt something tugging on my shorts. I look down to see Viserys.

"What is Viserys?" I asked him as I kneeled down to his eye level.

"I want to play?" Viserys said and I smiled at that. Thank you Viserys for providing the perfect excuse to leave the party without pissing off Rhaenys of Viserra.

"Okay let's go." I said as I grabbed Viserys' hand and began walking out of the wedding.
