Chapter Three

At dinner, Hermione had a really hard time not staring at Blaise, who she now knew was her brother in their past life, and Draco who all of her romantic feelings came rushing back. tears filled her eyes as she remembered that in her past life, both Elyan and Arthur has died leaving her alone. She shook her head. Not this time, she thought.

meanwhile, over at the Slytherin table, Blaise had noticed that the Gryffindor golden girl was occasionally staring at him and Draco. he frowned wondering what the reason could possibly be. he wasn't dark like Draco, but of course, no one really knew that, because he would never survive Slytherin if it got out that he was not a supporter of Voldemort. he could admit that over the years he felt drawn to the bush haired Gryffindor, but it wasn't romantic, that much he knew. he avoided her as much as possible because he had no idea why he sometimes felt protective of her. he remembered that in second year, when she was petrified he was in a really bad mood and he couldn't even explain it. he never let anyone know that he was concerned about her or that he would visit her in the middle of the night. he never said anything, unsure if she would be able to hear him and not wanting her to know he was there.

"Earth to Blaise" Blaise snapped his eyes to Draco, who merely looked amused. "you thinking hard?" he asked. Blaise sighed. even though Draco was his best friend, he knew that Draco was on some sort of mission for the Dark Lord, and he wasn't sure how much he could actually trust him.

"It's nothing" he said, turning and looking at Hermione again. As their eyes locked, Blaise was hit with memories that were not his own, but felt like his own.

You shouldn't have come back for me, Gwen. What were you thinking?

"Arise, Sir Elyan, Knight of Camelot."

"We made our pledge, and we wear the Pendragon crest with pride. Tomorrow, we fight in your name, sire. For freedom and justice in this land."

Blaise's eyes widened and Hermione noticed. she jerked her head to the entrance and Blaise nodded slightly. he got up, not noticing that Draco was following him. he did notice however, Ginny and Harry following Hermione and he gulped a little. Hermione led them to an empty classroom and locked the door and put up some wards and a silencing spell. she turned to face Blaise.

"Elyan?" she whispered.

"Gwen" Elyan replied. suddenly the two sibling embraced, Hermione wiped tears from her eyes.

"Don't leave me this time" she whispered, completely vulnerable. Blaise hugged her tight.

"I promise" he whispered. Suddenly Draco stepped forward.

"Do I get a hug?" he asked. Hermione turned to face the man who risked everything to marry a lowly servant and to save her from Morgana's spell.

"Arthur" she whispered she threw herself in his arms, sobbing. "you left me, Mordred killed you"

"I know" he soothed, rubbing her back. "I know"

"So, what do we do now?" Blaise asked. he turned to Draco. "I know that you have a mission to complete from the Dark Lord. you bragged about it on the express" Draco nodded.

"I am supposed to kill Dumbledore and let death eaters into the castle" he replied. "two of those death eaters are going to be greyback and Bellatrix. I was thinking that maybe we set up a trap. Now that I know who I am I cannot support the Dark Lord and I certainly cant sanction bringing two of the deadliest death eaters into a school full of children"

"I agree with Draco" Harry replied. "plus, now that we are in on the plan, we can get some help of our own from the Great Dragons" Draco's eyes rose.

"they're still alive?" he asked, in disbelief.

"Kind of" Harry replied. "the great dragons had children and they had children, there are currently seven Great Dragons that I can call and they will be on our side" Draco nodded.

"What about the other knights?" he asked. "will they get their memories back?"

"I am not sure" Harry replied. "for now, we have to operate without them. Draco, you and Blaise can't be seen with us until we enact the plan. Before we enact the plan, I will rescue Lucius from Azkaban and rescue Narcissa from the manor. that way, when his plan fails, Voldemort wont be able to kill them as he has threatened"

"Thank you" Draco said, "though, I am not sure you should risk exposure breaking Lucius out of jail. he has done a lot of bad things. he murdered countless innocent people in both lives"

"I agree" Ginny said. "I know that I killed Uther and I am sorry about that, but I was scared that he would have me put to death if he ever found out that I had magic. because of that fear, I was twisted into something evil. I would feel better if Lucius remained in Azkaban"

"Ok then. I will rescue Narcissa and take her someplace safe" Harry told them. "you two better go, before you are missed" Draco and Blaise left. Hermione also left, to go to the library, leaving Harry and Ginny alone.

"we need to talk" Harry said. Ginny nodded and they both sat down. "I meant what I said, all those years ago. It was my fault that you turned down the path of darkness. and honestly, it was also my fault that Mordred turned to darkness. If I had trusted both of you, maybe the battle wouldn't have happened. you, Mordred and Arthur wouldn't have died on the same day. I never should have poisoned you or taken you to the druids. I should have told you about me right away. with Mordred, I should have told him about my first love, and that I did the same thing as he did, and she died, just like Kara. maybe if I had been understanding, instead of listening to a prophecy, maybe the prophecy wouldn't have come true"

"Do you really mean that?" a voice asked them. since the door was supposed to be locked, both Ginny and Harry drew their wands, only relaxing slightly when they saw the boy standing in the corner.

"Mordred?" Harry asked in disbelief. the boy stepped out of the shadows. he looked really familiar, almost like...but that was impossible.

"yes. I've been watching you," Mordred said. "Ever since I received my memories"

"I don't recognize you" Ginny said, "do you go here?" Mordred shook his head.

"I'm not surprised you don't recognize me, but I thought Harry might" he said.

"S...Sirius?" Harry stuttered. the boy relaxed smiling.

"Hey pup" he said.

"but..the veil" Sirius nodded.

"I was just released from the veil. but I have been watching you since I fell in. see, as soon as I fell in I received memories of my past life. I also had to stay in the veil in order to be healed properly from my time in Azkaban" he closed his eyes and concentrated before becoming the man Harry had known. Harry flung himself in Sirius's arms.

"I don't understand" Ginny said. "Mordred was younger than all of us"

"Yes, I was. Fate somehow decided I was to be reborn in your parents time instead of after your time" Sirius replied. "Now I heard the plan you guys put together and it sounds fantastic. Since I am a Black, and the Malfoy Manor was gifted to Narcissa from my grandfather, Arcturus Black, instead of relocating Narcissa, I can actually cast out anyone we like and put up Black wards, which are amonge the strongest and deadliest, protecting Narcissa and preventing Voldemort from gaining access" they chose to do that. while this conversation was going on, Ginny was contemplating what Harry said. finally she spoke up.

"I forgive you" Ginny said. she gave Harry a quick kiss on the lips before she could chicken out. Harry smiled. He knew that they were ready to take on Voldemort as long as they did it together.
