Dozens upon dozens of miles away from the bustling life of civilization, a land unknown to everyone, minus a select few, received a very strange surprise.

Somewhere, deep within the steep, rocky terrain, a wide and deep crater dispersed a thick stream of steam into the dark red sky.

Nearby, a pack of Beowolves, Grimm with a werewolf appearance, slowly approached the bowl of hardened dirt.

Grimm were known for not inheriting a sense of curiosity or survival instincts compared to other organisms.

But to the misfortune of all decent souls, these beasts were instead born with the unquenchable thirst for blood, combined with an endless appetite to devour flesh.

But when this pack of Beowolves caught sight of the crater, they were beginning to feel an urge to see the end of this discovery they had made.

Their razor sharp claws stepped closer and closer to the pit, blood-red eyes trying to cut through the rising steam, hoping that they would catch a glimpse of the thing that caused this anomaly to happen.

"Pegasus Comet Fist!!!"

The lowest rank of the Grimm elevated their gazes. They were expecting to meet the dark red sky they were born under. Except now, their visions were overtaken by a flash of blue.

All of the Beowolves caught in the crossfire felt an indescribable force eradicate the natural plating of their armor. They could not release their spine chilling howls of misery as their dark furred bodies instantaneously turned into invisible atoms.

Right in the center of the crimson atmosphere, a humanoid silhouette with angelic wings looked down on the destruction it brought to the hardened dirt.

The ground was nothing more but a colossal crack that went as deep as a lake, the damage stretching as far as the naked eye could see.

Not even rocks and pebbles were left as remains.

The angelic looking humanoid descended, its metallic feet delicately touching the ruined ground.

The shattered white orb that hung above the dark clouds illuminated the life form that has eradicated the creatures of the night with absolute ease: a young man with a bush of spiky, chestnut brown hair.

His lean yet powerful body was covered in various pieces of armor, forged out of metal that shined brighter than the surface of the sun.

The golden accents that were embedded into the armored plating gleaned from the glow of the moon, further enhancing the ethereal image of the platinum looking garments.

His angel-like wings were just as beautiful as the rest of his armor. And even though they were more likely to be exposed to the elements, there was no denying that they were forged to be as resilient as the world's oldest mountains.

Rather than having a traditional metal helmet that offered full protection of the head, there was a feathered circlet placed firmly on the forehead of the young warrior. The headpiece framed the youthful face that has seen the darkest pits of the world far too many times.

"Whatever these things are, they don't feel as if they were one of Hades' creations." The Saint of Pegasus thought to himself.

He extended his right arm to the moon, his hand grabbing onto the extended arm of a Grimm, preventing its set of jagged claws from going into his exposed neck.

He didn't even bother turning so his blank stare could make eye contact with the Beowulf that had its limb trapped in the grasp of his hand.

"Trying to kill me with the element of surprise... would have been a smart move if you were targeting easy prey."

Without letting go of the nightmarish beast, he bent his knees, twisted his hips to the right, and slammed the Beowulf into the ground.

The Pegasus Saint made sure to put a considerable sum of strength into the throw to effectively destroy the predator.

And even though he achieved the desired result, as the creature of the night instantaneously changed into a black mist once it made harsh contact with the ground, it also resulted in the terrain below receiving a near exact imprint of the Beowolf's frame.

"I should really keep my Cosmos in proper check. Perhaps I can fix that with the other ones closing in on me."

The young Saint of Athena straightened his body and limbs before he made a complete one-eighty turn.

"So, all of you see me as easy prey?" He spoke to the seemingly endless horde of Grimm in a tone that radiated confidence and fearlessness.

The young human could sense the lust for human blood behind the multitude of blood-red eyes staring into his soul.

The average person of Remnant would be trembling and begging for some sort of mercy if they were in the metallic boots of the Pegasus Saint.

But to the misfortune of the Grimm present, they were not going to be devouring the flesh of a faunus or human denizen of their planet.

When an Ursa, a Grimm with bear-like features, sprinted at the human donning shiny armor, it was immediately sent into the air by an uppercut delivered to its jaw.

The eyes of the Grimm horde were quickly aimed at their furred counterpart that was shot straight into the stratosphere with a single punch. The blood lust from a moment past was no longer present in their eyes as they could do nothing but gawk at the abnormality above them.

From their perspective, the airborne Ursa appeared like a small black dot flying across the crimson red sky, becoming smaller and smaller until it vanished into the eerie depths of the apocalyptic sky in a puff of black smoke.

The cluster of blood-red eyes slowly drifted back at the man that has just sent one of their kind to a one-way trip to a realm outside Remnant's reach as if it were nothing but a minor feat.

His eyes were absent of any emotion, though his barely visible smirk told the Grimm that the young human was going to take great pleasure in their annihilation. "Well? I'm waiting."

Despite the obvious fact that this single human was more than physically capable of demolishing one of their descendants, the horde of shadow creatures did not waste another second to charge at him.

The ground shook and rumbled furiously as the flood of Grimm ran at full speed.

Watching the sight that would inject the fear of god into the most unfortunate soul, the smirk of the Pegasus Saint dropped into a frown.

He twisted his hips once again, only this time, he cocked his right arm until the elbow stuck out from his back. The chestnut haired warrior made sure to keep his legs parallel to each other so his body would maintain position.

And for the final, most essential step: letting his power flow freely.

He took in a deep breath as he closed his eyes, a bright blue aura enveloping the entirety of his body.

He could feel the power of his Cosmo burn within his arms, increasing their speed and strength and multiplying it to the thousands.

This next move was one the Pegasus Saint has used various times before. It was a trick that has always got him through the most gruesome trials imaginable.

But in comparison to the past, he would utilize this technique with superior control and improved concentration.

The Saint of Athena halted the flow of his Cosmos, opening his eyes and sending forth his fist as he roared with all of his might.

"Pegasus Comet!!!"

Abnormally sized sparks of blue appeared out of thin air, striking the swarm of Grimm in all directions.

The fearsome monsters that have plagued Remnant for generations were now experiencing what it was like to be the prey as abnormally sized sparks of blue appeared out of thin air, striking the swarm in all directions.

Their limbs were torn to shreds, their bone white plating was shattered into a billion micro pieces, and their bodies were crushed and flattened into the lifeless soil.

Their eyes did not possess the capacity to even catch a glimpse of the faster than light punches tearing every inch of their bodies apart like a wet piece of paper.

The unfathomable velocity and power of the Pegasus shook the ground with even more ferocity compared to earlier as the impenetrable army of Remnant's most formidable foe was eradicated in milliseconds.

As the carnage finished unfolding, the man who had unleashed hell onto the Grimm shot past like a bolt of lightning, appearing at the spot where the monsters once stood in the blink of an eye.

The blue sparks of light disappeared into the night, the ground stopping its rumble shortly after.

The Pegasus Saint looked back to see the aftermath of his Pegasus Comet.

He wasn't surprised or shocked that the terrain suffered even more damage. His fists had head sized indentations that were scattered all across the surface he was standing on a few seconds back.

The chestnut brown haired warrior let his guard down for the moment. A breath of relief came out once he no longer felt the malicious presence of those shadow creatures.

Powerful he may have been, but it wasn't ideal if he kept on fighting on a consistent basis.

Looking up to face the unnatural red sky, he freed a fraction of his Cosmos, using its physical enhancing properties to perform a single leap that took him dozens of kilometers off Remnant's surface, disappearing into the unknown darkness of this unfamiliar land.
