May's POV
The City was very peaceful at night, though there were occasional restaurants and bars open there wasn't really much going on, I guess people were still tired from yesterday's activities and decided to have an early lie in. After the battle Ash and I went to cafe to have dinner sharing huge platters of Pizza and Pasta. We spoke about the battle and shared our assessment of each other's Pokemon. Pikachu had went with Ash's mom back to the hotel she was staying in.
"Thank you for a great day Ash." I tell him smiling brightly.
He smiled back, "Your Welcome May. You deserve this after the years we've been apart."
"The years of pinning we did, umm. It makes it all worth it, we've always known what the other felt but never really admitted our feelings." I say thinking about everything.
He nods looking thoughtful, "I've always wanted to tell you, especially after I suspected how you felt about me. But I guess my fear won out on me more then once. But we're here now together at last."
"You're right. No more worrying about untold feelings or pinning for each other. I love you Ash." I responded.
He smiled that cute boyish grin of his, the smile that had made me fall for him in the first place. He paid for the meal and we walked out of the restaurant, the air was cold and crisp that evening causing me to shiver. I was still wearing a short sleeved dress after all. He must've noticed me shivering because he had used his aura to summon a jacket and placed it on me.
He smiled, "Your feeling better now?"
"Yes I am. Thank you." I say kissing his cheek.
He placed his arm on my shoulders pulling me closer to him as we walked. We arrived at my hotel and faced each other. He took my hand and brought it up to his lips kissing it. I smiled at the gesture turning it so I could cup his cheek. Our faces were so near, I could smell his breath as it hit my face.
"Good Night May." He whispered leaning down.
I met him in the middle, I instantly ran my hand through his hair causing his hat to fall to the ground. This kiss was filled with unsuppressed passion and love, I couldn't get enough of him I felt him pull me closer, his arm going around my waist. We separated after what felt like forever to regain our breath. Our hearts beating in sync, hard and fast. I looked into his auburn gaze which met mine with such intensity that I nearly melted.
"Don't go Ash. Please, stay with me." I whispered running my hands up and down his chest.
His breath hitched at my invitation, "Are you sure May?"
"Yes, I am. I-I don't want to sleep alone anymore, only dreaming that you are beside me." I tell him honestly.
He smiles taking my hand and placing it on his heart, "Me too, Princess. I spent many nights dreaming about taking you in my arms and drifting into sleep with you snuggling into me, and waking in the morning to your bright smile and stunning sapphire gaze."
I smiled seeing the truth through his eyes. I really had missed him for the past two years we were apart. Back then I knew that he felt the same way I did, but he was hesitant to admit his feelings like I was as well. He picked up his hat and dusted it before taking my hand in his. We walked into the hotel and went up to my room, I unlocked the door and came in watching as Ash closed the door before facing me. Now that we were alone I wanted him to take me into his arms again and let him kiss me senseless, he must've sensed me staring at him because he turned towards me, his brown eyes shinning.
"My Princess." He says in a low whisper as he takes me into his arms pulling me close.
I smiled placing my arms around his neck, "My Knight."
Our lips met in a sweet kiss, the first chaste, with every other one after becoming more passionate as the moment passed. He pulls me closer lifting me off of the ground as he was taller then me by a few inches. I melted into his arms, then pulled away wanting to run my hands through his hair. I played with the hairs at the nape of his neck.
Ash nuzzled my neck, "Mm?"
"Take off your hat." I tell him smiling.
He chuckles letting me down before saying, "As you wish."
He took his hat off and placed it on the table. He smiled and once again took me into his arms and continued to nuzzle my neck placing small kisses here and there. I ran my hands freely on his massy raven locks, loving how soft yet slightly rugged it felt in-between my fingers. His hands were running over my back, I lifted his head and connected our lips wanting to taste his unique flavor again, his tongue licked my lips asking for entrance which I granted. Then our tongues engaged in a dance causing mutual moans of lust to emerge from both of us. I began unbuttoning his jacket, helping him take it off leaving it on the floor. Next came his shirt, and when that was off I ran my hand on the defined planes of his torso I heard him hum in contentment. He unzipped my dress and discarded that to the floor, picking up his shirt he placed it on me, it was so warm. Luckily I decided to wear cycling shorts. He was unbuckling and unbuttoning his pants and discarding that on the floor as well, he wore boxer shorts.
"Now where were we?" He whispers placing chaste kisses on my lips while placing his hands on my butt.
I gasped in shock then he squeezed the cheeks I moaned, "Oh Ash."
He grinned through our kiss then he lifted me, taking the queue I wrapped my legs around his waist. We were still in our passionate lip lock when he sat on the bed, my legs still locked around his waist. I felt my abdomen coil as heat pooled inside from our activities, I also felt his excitement. I ran my hands on his now bare chest feeling his muscles contract as he breathed in. His lips were trailing kisses and nibbles on my neck stopping at the juncture and sucking it lightly, causing me to moan in pleasure. Though I wasn't ready to go all the way, I thought that doing this was alright. I ground my covered core onto his similarly cover groin.
Ash grunted at my actions, "M-May. Are you sure about this?"
"Yes Ash. I not ready to go all the way yet. But this is the next best thing, my hormones are driving me crazy." I tell him honestly panting as I continued to rub on his erect manhood.
He gasped as he nipped at my ear, "Well if that's the case..."
He moved back on the bed so his back was to the headboard, he had me straddling his still stiff erection now. I was wearing my panties under the cycling shorts, so I decided to remove the shorts but keep the last thing covering my private area intact. As soon I felt our most sacred areas connect through their barriers I gasped in pleasure, I heard Ash moan as he pushed his erection further, the tip pressing into my clit.
I saw stars, "Ash it's... It's..."
"Let it go May." He grunts.
And I let it go. We came together in a state of complete bliss. I lay beside him feeling at peace, he pulled me closer to him pulling the blanket over us. I kissed his cheek.
"Will you be here when I wake up?" I whispered tracing symbols on his chest.
He sighed contentedly, "Of course I will. Though I think I'll have to teleport to my hotel room to get changed."
"Alright. Good night my Guardian." I say kissing his cheek.
He kisses the top of my head and says, "Good night Princess."
I was lulled to sleep with sound of his light breathing.
The Next Day
Hotel le Blanc
Third Person
The sun woke the young Aura Guardian from his slumber, adjusting his eyes to the light he took in his surroundings. He smiled remembering last night, he decided to wake May who looked comfortable snuggling into him. He felt content to stay this way, he knew that Norman and Caroline wouldn't get mad at them for sleeping together, the Pedalburg Gym Leader trusted the young man with his daughter's life after all. But he had to change for the day, he'd rather not wear his Guardian's Uniform during a casual outing. Maybe he'd wear his spruced up Hoenn wear, he had his mom alter it to fit him again and add a little bit of design to it as well.
Ash whispered softly onto her ear, "May, hey May wake up."
May heard his voice, trying to wake her. She couldn't help but smile as she remembered what had occurred last night, she tucked in closer to Ash. She ran her hand on his hair taking in his scent feeling calm.
"Mmm. Morning Ash!" She whispered giving him a kiss.
He smiled as she pulled away, "Good morning May. How was your sleep?"
"The best one I've ever had. How about you?" She whispers kissing him once again.
He sighs contently, "I don't think I can ever go back to sleeping without you. The best sleep ever."
There they lay taking comfort in each other in the calm silence that followed their short conversation. They got up and Ash got dressed, he needed a fresh change of clothes.
"How about I meet you at the lobby for Breakfast? Cafe Soli serves great food." Ash offers kissing her cheek.
She smiles and nods, "Sure! Aren't we meeting the others for lunch later?"
"Yeah! I think Miette suggested a picnic by the gardens. Maybe we could head to the beach afterwards, Kalos has nice beaches the one near Amberet Town was cool." He responds excitedly.
She giggles at his childlike demeanor, "It has been a while since I went to the beach. And with how warm it's going to be today that'd be the perfect place to hang out after a refreshing picnic."
"I'm pretty sure Brock, Cilen, and Celmont have got some food prepared already. They do tend to plan ahead when it comes to feeding multiple amount of people." He tells her.
She grins, "I've missed Brock's cooking! And if yesterday's picnic in the Pokemon Village was any sign it had gotten better. Dawn just sent me a message through the nav. Seems to me that our friends are getting an early start on the garden."
"We'll just catch up to them in a while. It is still early. I have a feeling Paul invited Dawn for an early morning stroll. Serena just laughed when she told me Gary asked her to take a stroll with him as well." Ash says shaking his head amusedly the honey blonde girl.
May giggled at his last sentence, "How about the breakfast then Mr. Ketchum? Then we'll see about strolling through the city."
"That's a plan. I'll need to change first though. Let's meet up in the Lobby then." Ash suggested.
May nods, "Sure."
They got off the bed and he dressed back up giving her a smile before teleporting to his own hotel room. May sighed contently, a soft smile gracing her face. She felt so happy at the moment, happier then when she won her first ribbon cup! She bathed and changed in some joggers and a sleeveless tank top, she put on her red sneakers, bandana and a white bomber jacket. She slung her new sling bag over her shoulder and headed out making sure to lock her room.
Moments later she found herself in the hotel lobby waiting for her boyfriend. She felt someone warp their arms around her from behind, she smiled knowing who it was and turned to face the young man. Her breath hitched at the fresh look he had on; a sleeveless blue crew neck shirt, light gray cargo pants, and a nice red denim jacket. He wore his signature Hoenn league cap and a pair of white sneakers.
"You ready Princess?" He asked offering her an arm.
She took his arm and smiled sweetly, "Always."
They walked to the cafe talking lightly. Ash pointing out some of the Pokemon that May didn't know and places that she didn't get to see the day before. They arrived and sat at a table for two, they ordered their meals and drinks.
"I wonder what the others are up to." May says checking her Phone.
Ash smiles and says, "Well... Brock, Cilan, and Clemont are working together on the food. I bet they're gonna create some awesome dishes together, being the great chefs that they are. The rest of the ladies decided to do a little bit of shopping, while the rest of the boys are battling each other."
"I bet Max is having a blast battling against Gary or Paul." Says May grinning at the thought.
Ash chuckles, "He would be. Plus he could learn a thing or two from them. Trip, Tracy, and the Kalos guys too."
Their food arrived they decided to share a large serving of waffles and bacon, and ordered coffee to match.
"Will there be a lot of battling today?" May asked as she slipped her coffee.
Ash nods after a thought, "That'd be the most likely thing today. Plus, you and Dawn could show the Kalos group what a contest battle looks like. It had been a long time since I saw the two of you battle it out. The last time was when I watched through the TV your battle with her during your time in Jonto. That was before I went to Kalos."
"I would love to battle her again! It's a shame Showcases don't have have battle rounds though." May responds excitedly.
Ash chuckles nodding, "That is a shame. Maybe letting them see you and Dawn battle will inspire them to petition for the Showcases to have battle rounds. Pokemon Performers are great trainer after all, they can create move combinations as amazingly as any seasoned coordinator. If what I've seen Serena, Shuana, and Miette do on the stage is anything to go by, I'd say they'd make excellent Coordinators."
"Maybe I can also battle Misty at some point." She suggested playfully.
He chuckled, "That'd be interesting, the last time I saw a coordinator battle a gym leader was when Dawn battled Maylen the leader of the Viliastone City Gym in Sinnoh. They were both having their off moments, Maylen just got beat down by Paul and wasn't up to running the gym after he told her off, and Dawn was in a serious funk about losing her first few contests."
"Dawn told me about that time. I felt bad for Maylen and was so mad that Paul did that to her. Then she fold me about your tie against Maylen." May says smiling.
Ash nods, "Yeah. Her battle with Maylen brought some of their mojo back for sure. And our battle helped her find a little bit of confidence in herself. I wanted to punch Paul in the face for putting her down in the first place, I did get to that when I saw him again at his brother's house. Reggie gave him a good dressing down when we told him what Paul did."
"You rarely loose your temper that it's so shocking when you do. That time you beat Gary black and blue when we found what he did to Sabrina was the first time I saw you let loose. It scared me a bit honestly." May says giving him a look.
He chuckled shaking his head, "Yeah. What Gary did to Sabrina was inexcusable, Professor Oak was really angry at him as well. I remembered that the Professor pulled me to the side after the beating and thanked me for doing it, he said that he hoped that it would help Gary change his ways. I was so surprised with his reaction because I thought he was going to tell me off."
Gary was a duchebag back then, even after Ash had beat him in Jonto! It wasn't until the beating that Gary had realized - after some really hard self evaluation - what he was doing was really wrong. The now aspiring Pokemon researcher found himself wanting to redeem his character, seeking forgiveness from those he had ever hurt the first one he came to was Ash then he had went to Sabrina. The Psychic prodigy of Kanto gave him a really head time before forgiving him for his sins towards her and her gym. He then went to Brock and Misty, the latter gave him a good hit in the head (with her mallet) for all the grief he gave their group when they traveled through Kanto and Jonto. Brock was less brutal but then warned Gray that if he ever went back to his old ways that there would be hell to pay. Samuel was proud of his Grandson for picking the path of redemption, seeing the good it was doing the young man.
As the couple continued their breakfast they conversed about different things. Ash payed for the meal and they took a stroll around the city. They rounded the city for the rest of morning, Ash indulging May on her shopping trip even buying a jacket she picked out for him. He payed for her purchases and decided to wear the jacket she had bought for him just to see her eyes shine in happiness, the kiss his received was worth the hour of shopping. Ash checked his PokeTech for the time and smiled, he placed his arm around May's shoulder with and brought her back outside.
"Alright Princess as much as I enjoyed the shopping trip we've to meet our friends for lunch at the gardens. I hope they didn't go too over board with the battles yet though." He tells her as they took the road leading to Route Four.
She rolled her eyes giggling, "Thanks for that Ash! I've been wanting to go through the stores here since yesterday."
They arrived to an array of smells throughout the gardens, not just from the fragrant flower but the food as well. The three chefs had out done themselves yet again! And the desserts seem to look too sweet to eat! There was a battle going on in the other side, it was Trip and Paul.
"Oh! You made it!" Greeted Clemont who approached the couple.
The rest greeted them with Dawn also approaching the couple.
The bluenette says, "This battle's been going on for a while. First it was Gary and Paul, then Trip and Gary, then this. I'm itching to do a contest battle!"
"I'd love to see one of those! We don't really do battles in a Showcase." Says Shauna with a wide smile.
Ash nods grinning, "Dawn and May have done dozens of Contest Battles even battling each other on the sage from time to time. I've missed seeing them battle in person."
"The prodigy of Sinnoh versus the Princess of Hoenn. Many people would love to watch that battle for sure!" Say Misty giggling.
May faced Dawn with a wide smile, "How about it Dawn? Wanna show em some Pokemon Contest magic?"
"You're on Maple! You are all in for a treat." Dawn responds laughing excitedly.
Ash hollered placing both his arms on their shoulders, "Alright ladies! This will be great."
Everyone sat on ground spread out to get a good view of the impending battle. The set up was similar to that of an actual Contest Battle the Panelists being; Brock, Fauntina, and Valerie. The fairy type gym leader had been to few Pokemon Contests during her travels and became fascinated by them, she even participated once and won a Grand Festival! Ash was acting as the referee.
"Good afternoon ladies and gents! Today is a wonderful day for a special contest battle. On my right hand side we have the ever so talented and beautiful Princess of Hoenn May Maple." Ash introduced grinning as he waved his hand to May's direction she took the que and did a little courtesy before Ashe continued, "On my left hand side with the illustrious and equally talent Prodigy of Sinnoh, Dawn Berlitz!"
The blue haired Sinnoh native courtesies as well, giving the crowd a wave. Both sides got applause from the audience which was growing due to the other trainers traveling through the Route joining in to watch the spectacle, most having seen Pokemon Contest and others wanting to know what this was.
"This will be a one on one battle, and the winner is determined by the judges scores on their performance, their ability to out smart their opponent, and the Pokemon's over all attributes being showcased on the stage. Now trainers please release your Pokemon!" Ash says.
Both ladies take out their Pokeballs and call of their chosen partners.
"Glaceon take the stage!" As May threw her PokeBall into the air a flash of light along with a flurry of snowflakes graced the area. A cool mist filled the center then disappeared to reveal the elegant Ice type Eeveelution.
Dawn smiled shaking her head, "Show off. Alright Piplup come on out!"
A current of water and bubbles erupted as the light shone out of the PokeBall Dawn had thrown, once the water show was over a Blue Penguin Pokemon was shown waving it's flipper at the crown. The Kalos Performers were awed by the scene before them, both ladies had shown more then just the Pokemon's beauty on the field.
Ash grinned, "A shot of appeal never hurts and these two have done that in spades! Gaining some points for creativity in executing a perfect introduction."
"Oh wow! How did they do that?" Asked Shauna curiously.
It was Tracy who provided the explanation, "Coordinators have special tools called ball capsules or seals, each of these seals or capsules have different effects. They use them to add appeal to their Pokemon, just like what we saw right now."
"How long have they been at this?" Miette asked looking at the two ladies on the field.
It was Serena who said, "From what Ash had told us during our Journey May had been at this for Six or so years now, while Dawn has been at it for five years. Dawn wanted to become a Top Coordinator like Joanna, her mother. While May's dream of becoming a coordinator only began when she started her journey in Hoenn with Ash."
"Mm, he shared some of our past adventures with you then? That's a rare treat, the last people he shared his past adventures with were May and I, and that was after we went through that Team Magma and Team Aqua debacle." Max says smiling.
Paul decided to break to conversation, "The battle is starting."
They watched the field.
"Alright use bubble beam Piplup!" Says Dawn the water type did as he was told and let out a stream of shiny bubbles attack it opposition.
Misty studied the Pokemon, "I am surprised he hasn't gone through his final evolution yet."
"According to Dawn Piplup wants to grow stronger as he is now before evolving." Informs Paul's smiling.
Tracy chuckles, "That sounds like most of Ash's Pokemon. His Bulbasaur and Squirtle grew stronger in their base forms before finally chosing to evolve. Boy Ash's Venusaur is faster then most of its kind even for it's size."
May took a breath, "Dodge then use Strength."
The Ice fox gracefully dodged the bubbles then went on offense.
"Dodge it Piplup then use drill peck!" Dawn says calmly.
"Barrier!" May orders quickly.
A purple wall appeared in between the two fighters just in time to stop the moving Penguin form dealing any damage to the fox.
"Now, use ice beam on the ground." Now the field was all ice.
Ash smirked, "That's points for creativity on May's part."
"What's she planning?" Wonder Max eyes his sister curiously.
Bonnie giggled, "This reminds me Ash's battle with Viola. She did the same thing to him too."
"What are you planning Maple?" Wonders Dawn grinning at this challenge.
May chuckled, "Nothing really. What are you gonna do about this one?"
Dawn then says, "Use surf Piplup!"
A huge wave appears heading towards the fox.
"Skate towards it Glaceon then use Ice beam!" May says thinking quickly.
The Ice fox did as she was told, using her claws to skate through the ice field, approaching the wave just as she about to crash into it she fired a beam of blue energy freezing the wave creating a nice ice piece.
"Drill peck." Dawn says ginning.
Piplup made quick work of the frozen wave, he even created a small sculpture out of it!
"Points for artistry and absolute flare for Ms. Berlitz. But Ms. Maple also gets points for her quick thinking." Ash says complementing both ladies with a smile.
Brock chuckles, "I've gotta say they really have grown leaps and bounds since I lost saw them at an official contest. Dawn's battle style as fully formed and has more elegance to it. While May's just keeps getting better."
"I never thought it'd be like this..." Serena says in awe of their prowess.
"You ain't seen nothing yet." Promises Misty with a large smile on her face.
Gary and Paul nod with the former saying, "Ash taught them well alright, from catching Pokemon to the basics of battling. Who would have thought that bonehead head would actually be a good mentor considering how he started out. The rest they learned by themselves."
"A lot of pitfalls when he started out, but he also had a lot of guidance from us and many people. But he also taught a lot of people valuable lessons, remember that battle he had he Lt. Surge?" Says Misty the last statement directed at Brock.
Gary's eyes widened, "Wait you mean he was the reason that brute stopped treating other trainers harshly?"
"Ah, that was also why he wouldn't ever force his Pokemon evolve if they didn't want to. That's why until this day Pikachu is still the way he is, Ash still keeps the thunder stone he tried to give Pikachu the one time." Tracy says smiling at the younger boy.
Misty smiled softly, "That was after he begged Pikachu to evolve and the little mouse just slapped the thing away. Gave Ash a tough talking to, then they trained to improve his speed."
The Kalos contingent (except for Clemont, Bonnie, and Serena) look towards Ash in levels of awe and respect. Meanwhile, the battle was still going on. Both girls were fairly matched, both having only a quarter of their points left.
"Wow Dawn! You've really improved, you've really put me into corner here." May says grinning at her friend.
Dawn giggled raising a peace sign, "I had great teachers after all! And plus my rivals have given all edge I need."
"Their on their last legs now. I won't be surprised if Dawn will get a draw out of May for this battle though." Comments Tracy with a smile.
The Kalos crew looked at the Pokemon Artist in surprise at his pronouncement.
It was Sawyer who asked "What makes you all think that? I would've thought you'd all think May had this fight."
"Both of them are talented Coordinators for certain, but they've also fought each other in the contest circuit for years now. Usually either would win against the other in the finals, which really saying something. Usually May would win against Dawn with the points being close." Says Paul smiling
Misty giggles, "We all have our strengths when it comes to Pokemon. We realized our dreams upon traveling with Ash, even some of his rivals have had changes of heart over the course of their rivalries with him."
"You can say that again. After the lose he gave me in Jonto years ago I've never doubted his abilities as a trainer, plus he made me realize that I wanted to be a Professor like Gramps is." Gary says grinning.
Serena smiles, "Maybe I'll take a trip of Hoenn next. I'll take Polermo's advice and try out Coordinating."
"You'll be great at it Serena! I mean with you experience from Pokemon Performances you'll add something new to the Contest Circuit." Say Shauna.
On the field the battle was reaching it's end.
"Let's make this count Piplup! Use whirlpool!" Says Dawn.
May grins, "Glaceon use your strongest Ice Beam!"
Piplup summoned a huge whirlpool which made it's way to the Ice fox, who let out a burst of blue energy and directed it at the mini hurricane of water. The beam wrapped around the whirlpool causing it to freeze. The result was a sculpture of whirling water!
"The battle is over. Since both sides have one forth of their point still in tact this battle is a tie! Let's go to the judges for their opinions." Ash says turning everyone's attention to the three judges.
It was Fauntina who went first, "Fantastic display of grace and passion from both ladies. May's prowess on the stage was shown through display of power and finesse. While Dawn has shown why she known the Prodigy of Sinnoh, her quick thinking and ability to understand her opponents in battle is unmatched."
"I agree with her. You both display skills that would make you exceptional league trainers but also posses a grace that would create great Showcase contenders!" Adds Valerie.
Brock nods smiling at both ladies, "Well done ladies! This was a great battle showcasing talents that could rival even the toughest of league trainers."
Everyone applauded to the show, Alexa had taken footage of the mock battle and with permission from May and Dawn was allowed to post it on her blog page. Later that day the group agreed to move to Ambrett beach to spend a day at beach, everyone had fun playing around even their Pokemon went out for a swim, some just stayed on the sand.
As the sun set on the coast line Ash and May stood on the shallow part of the water looking at the horizon. Their friends conversing about the battles earlier that day, Dawn answering the questions of the curious Showcase Performers.
"Thanks for today Ash." The Burnett Hoenn native says turning in his arms to face him.
Ash smiles pulling her closer, "No problem Princess."
"I love you." She says lifting her face to his.
He meets her half way, "I love you too."
They shared a gentle kiss underneath the setting sun.
Gosh! Finally I'm finished with this chapter, I am so sorry it took so long everyone. So a lot of sweet moments between May and Ash as promised, and a little contest battle between May and Dawn. What do you think of this chapter I hope it's good. Just three more chapters left until the end of this fan fic. The last three will be a little bit shorter.
