Chapter 18 - Thunder and Marsh Badge
Ash and friends are still on their way to Vermilion City and lost. They stop by a pond for a break where they see an Oddish taking a drink. Misty tried to catch it but she was stopped by a mysterious Bulbasaur who rescued the Oddish.
Misty then followed Bulbasaur, Ash and Brock also followed them. They all reached the hidden village. When Ash notices a Pokemon in danger, he helps the Pokemon.
A girl was seeing this, she was happy to see there are more like her, kind-hearted trainers, she introduced herself, "My name is Melanie, I am the protector of this village. I am protecting and helping the wild and abandoned Pokemon. I want to give a proper thank you, by giving a treat for lunch."
"I am Ash Ketchum from Pallet town in the journey of becoming a Pokemon Master. They are my friends Misty and Brock," Ash introduced himself and his friends to Melanie.
"Hey young lady, if you want to make me your life then I am always here," Brock said in a flirty tone, but his tone changed in screams, when a Bulbasaur attacked him, and he continued to attack Brock with his vine whip.
Bulbasaur also slapped Misty's ass with his Vine Whip. "Ouucchh, why me," Misty screamed.
"I think this is the same Bulbasaur which save the Oddish from you," Ash replied
"I apologize for Bulbasaur's behavior but he is the protector of this village," Melanie explained.
"I understand," Ash replied, then suddenly they all heard the growl of Ash's stomach, Misty and Brock laughed after hearing this.
"Let's go it time for me to give you all a treat," They all go inside of the house, and they start taking lunch. But before they end their lunch, suddenly Ash hears the voice of a crying Pokemon.
He came out of the house and saw Team Rocket try to catch all the Pokemon. Ash, with the help of Kadabra, easily blasted off once again Team Rocket and saved the Pokemon.
Bulbasaur also helps in blasting off Team Rocket, Bulbasaur is happy to see a good and kind-hearted trainer, he wants to go with Ash. Then Ash takes the Bulbasaur and they all go into the house to finish their lunch. Melanie told him to take care of Bulbasaur.
They again continued the journey towards Vermilion City. But in the middle of their way, Ash, Misty, Brock and Pikachu come across a Charmander who is sitting on a rock.
Ash saw he was ill and harmed, he said to come to Charmander but he refused by saying "His trainer is coming in some second".
They all go to the Pokemon Centre by leaving the Charmander. At the Centre, a hotshot trainer named Damien is bragging about how he left his Charmander behind, promising to come back for it when he means to abandon it for being weak in his eyes.
After hearing this, Ash's anger is growing, he hits a hard punch on Damien's face, before he heads back out to get the poor Pokemon.
Ash notices Charmander saves himself from both a rainstorm and a group of Pidgeotto, Pikachu scares the Pidgeotto by giving them a Powerful Thunder Shock.
Ash saves the Charmander's life by rubbing his body, and giving his jacket to the Charmander to make him warm. Charmander is a pure solo witness of how much Ash loves Pokemon.
After a battle with Team Rocket, where Damien witnesses Charmander defeating them, he tries to get Charmander to come back to him, but the Pokemon's loyalty now belongs to Ash. Charmander chooses Ash to go. All Pokemon do victory dance with Ash.
Ash, Misty, Brock and Pikachu become the victims of pranks played by a gang of rogue Squirtle known as the Squirtle Squad. They end up falling down a hole, and are even eventually captured by them.
Ash does not understand why they are doing so, he finds they are abandoned by a trainer, and Meowth sharply uses them in work with Team Rocket.
When Squirtle Squad is found Team Rocket is a bad person and they use it, he turns against him, with the help of Ash and Pikachu, they manage to save the town from fire, which was created by Team Rocket.
Squirtle Squad joins Officer Jenny. The leader Squirtle joins Ash after seeing how great and kind-hearted he is, all Pokemon do victory dance with Ash.
Now Ash's Pokemon list is the Pikachu, Butterfree, Pidgeot, Kadabra, Bulbasaur, Squirtle and Charmander.
(Author's Note, I have introduced Ash Ketchum to some adventures here, because he is also important to the story. As you have already read in the previous chapter. Why Ash is important.)

TEAM ROCKET NEW ISLAND HQ
A man was opening the computer screen. This man was a brilliant scientist, his name was Fuji. Since he had obtained the Mew DNA, by the hard work and searching Team Rocket. He was busy with some secret work.
On the other side of the screen a man appeared whose name was Giovanni, the leader of Team Rocket, he was the most wanted criminal in the Kanto Region.
"What happens to our clone Pokemon project?" Giovanni asked the scientist. "Sir, we failed in cloning Pokemon, but Project Mewtwo is still working. It was only our last hope, now he is in sleep," Fuji explains the situation to the leader of Team Rocket.
"It's good news to hear, continue your work, and give me every detail of your work." Giovanni said, and the screen disappeared.

Azlan, Freya and Elysia finally reached the Vermilion City, as the reached the Pokemon Centre for the search of Different Stone, especially Ice Stone, which they had still didn't found.
"So, here is also not the Ice Stone," Azlan nodded after getting his reply.
"I am sorry, but this is the true, there is only Electric Stone has demands," Nurse Joy replied.
Suddenly, a boy came there while running, he is held a injured Raticate in his arm, "Please help me, it's emergency," He shouted.
"Oh no not another one," Nurse Joy said, she entered the command in the computers, "Chansey bring a stretcher immediately".
Two Chansey brought out a stretcher at once and had the Raticate placed on it, then rushed it to the operating room at once.
"What happened?" Azlan asked.
"This is the fifteenth Pokemon this month," sighed Nurse Joy, "And they are all from the Vermilion Gym".
"So this Gym Leader didn't show mercy to the trainers," Azlan nodded, then together with Elysia and Freya he reached the Vermilion Gym. This Gym shape was really weird. Up from one side, then down from the other side; it looked like a warehouse, with yellow lightning bolts all over it.
Azlan opened the gym doors. "I'm here for a gym battle".
"Ah, more victims for the Pokemon Center." said a female voice. Two figures revealed themselves; it was a man and woman, looking like army soldiers, with street punk makeup.
"Follow us," man and woman both said together. The man and woman led the group to what looked like a boxing ring.
"This is where you will battle our gym leader," the woman explained.
"Lt. Surge sir," man shouted, "A trainer wishes to battle you sir."
"Another one huh?" Male voice came out, followed by his figure. He was a big muscular man, with spiky hair and looked like a real army soldier. He had a Raichu beside him. "Who's my opponent?"
"I am," Azlan replied.
Lt. Surge took a good look at Azlan, Elysia and Freya and smirked. "So I'm battling a bunch of babies," he said.
"Who the heck are you calling babies?" Azlan shouted back.
"Simple you three, from your face showed you all are teenagers," Lt. Surge replied, pointing to them, "Three little kids with their Pokemon and one of them has an unevolved Pikachu. I evolved my Pikachu into Raichu here as soon as I caught it."
Azlan went wide-eyed from hearing that. He can't reply back, because from his face, the three still look like a kid.
"We'll see who the baby is after this match," Azlan countered.
"You're on kid," Lt. Surge replied, as he accepted the challenge and both of them went towards the arena.
Lt. Surge and Azlan got ready to fight in the arena, "This gym battle is between Lt. Surge the gym leader, and Azlan Starwind the challenger," The man announced. "This is a one by one battle and whoever defeats the opponent's Pokemon first wins. Let the match begin."
"Leafeon, I choose you!" Azlan shouted, and then the Leafeon from his side ran in the arena.
Lt. Surge Raichu was ready to battle. "Raichu, front and center," he commanded. Lt. Surge's Raichu sparked its cheeks ready to battle. "Let's get this battle over with," Lt. Surge command, "Raichu Thunderbolt." Raichu shot a bolt of electricity at Pikachu.
It hits the Leafeon, but it doesn't show any effects, as he wants.
"Leafeon, tail whip," Azlan commanded, and after getting the shock, the Leafeon hit back at Raichu. Raichu collided with the corner of Arena.
Lt. Surge gritted his teeth after seeing how the Raichu's electricity hasn't done any effects on the Leafeon.
"Leafeon, use Leaf Blade, and show them who is the kid," Azlan commanded, the Leafeon was going to continuously fire the leaf attack.
"Raichu dodge it," Lt. Surge commands his Raichu, but Raichu speed is not better or he is attacked by the Leaf Blade.
"Leafeon, end this battle by Bullet Seed," Azlan commanded, and Leafeon started firing the seed from his mouth with the bullet speed, Raichu collapsed in the ground by swirling eyes.
"Raichu is unable to battle, which means victory goes to Azlan Starwind and his Leafeon," the Referee declared.
"Now tell who is kid," Azlan taunted him, before taking Leafeon in his arms and giving a kiss on his forehead.
Lt. Surge does not believe he is lost, or he is easily beaten by the kid. "Wow, you are really wonderful, and your Leafeon is really strong," He take out Thunder Badge from his pocket
"This is Thunder Badge, proof of your victory in Vermilion City Gym, in six months you are the first boy who beat my Raichu fair and square."
Azlan takes the Badge, and advises him, "I want to say only one thing, not get overconfident or not say any challenge to the kid, because the result comes only after the battle ends." Elysia and Freya nodded from the sides, and clapped their hands.
"Of course, I'm never going to do that now, after battling you," Lt. Surge nodded. Azlan, Freya and Elysia left the Vermillion City Gym.
"What is the next destination," Azlan asked.
"The next destination is the Saffron City Gym," Elysia answered.
"Ok, then let's go," Azlan nodded, and they now moved towards the next destination, Saffron City.
But just they walk little bit and left the city, rain was started. "Quickly set up the tent," Azlan shouted, as he and the girls started setting the tent.
After some hours the rain stopped, "Let's go see outside, where we are," Azlan said, and he came out. He noticed an old man was giving flowers to someone.
Then they realized they had settled their tents in a graveyard. But it's all over. "What are you doing, mister," He asked the old man.
"Just visiting an old friend, he was a good Pokemon, and had a long life, but his time came eventually," The old man replied.
Azlan consoled him, then the old man thanked him, invited them to his house.
The old man explained that in order to respect the Pokemon build a building known as Pokemon Tower, he showed them a big building in the middle of the town.
"So that building is a cemetary?" Freya question. Old man nodded.
"So, why didn't you put your Dodou's grave there," Elysia asked.
"Because the ghosts appeared inside the tower, from that time the People of this town didn't trust any people, and started living in fear," The old man explained.
"We have never seen the ghosts, why not experience it here," Azlan asked.
"Okay," Freya and Elysia agreed. The old man warned them, but Azlan didn't take his advice.
Soon they entered the Pokemon cemetery. There they found the graves of many Pokemon, and found a picture, which shows the battle between the Kadabra and Haunter.
But they inside were not the ghosts, but they are the Ghost Type Pokemon. And they just like to enjoy, but their fun created the fears between the normal public.
But the Haunter found that Freya is more funniest than him, so he decided to travel the journey with Freya.
He then brings them inside a secret room, from where he takes out a book, and gives them. This was the most interesting thing, because in this book. It was the story about the battle between the Ghost Pokemon and Psychic Users, this also explained why there is a picture of fighting between the Haunter and Kadabra.
"Elysia, explained what is written on it," Azlan said, as they adjusted themselves in the
Elysia nodded and started reading the story. "It was a story after the defeat of Evil Psychic Users, when the world became peaceful. But it is not always peaceful. Once again, a person named Akira Tobi, who claimed himself the descendants of Shira Tobi, with his evil intentions rises again."
"The person starts gathering evil Psychic users, but before he can fully establish his territory. A group of Ghost Pokemon attack on the evil Psychic users and their Pokemon. Psychic Pokemon are powerless against the Ghost type, and the Psychic users became fearful of the Ghost Pokemon."
"Akira Tobi is killed by his haunted dream, which Haunter gives him. The people again relieved, after the defeat of Psychic users. And it shows, one Ketchum Descendant gives the Ghost Pokemon duty to keep eye on the Saffron City, if any descendants of evil Psychic users rise again, then they defeat him."
"But just like his ancestor Shira Tobi, before Akira Tobi died, he also gave the warning. 'You have once again defeated us, but we can rise again stronger than the Ghost powers, and claim victory over the world.' This is also a reason why the Psychic Users are afraid of the Ghost type."
"Interesting, the Psychic Users are becoming interesting," Azlan comments. After solving the ghost problem of the town, the townsfolk thanked them, and since the rain had stopped, they again continued their journey to Saffron City.
After some more adventures and travels, Azlan, Elysia and Freya finally reach Saffron City. This is the same place from where the first evil Psychic users were born.
And this is the same place where the evil Shira Tobi came into the world, and made his own army of evil Psychic users, and here is the place where the Shira Tobi died.
Azlan after some traveling is ready to enter the Saffron City Gym and win one more badge. But before they could enter, they noticed a person was warning everyone, who ever comes to challenge them.
"If you have any ghost type Pokemon, then enter it there, or else, the Leader of this Gym makes you a toy." And the trainer ran away from there.
He was going to also give the warning to Azlan, but seeing the Haunter with them, he kept quiet, while Azlan, Elysia and Freya went inside.
"So, here comes more toys to play with us," A little girl laughed. Azlan bravely stepped forward. "Hello Sabrina, I'm Azlan Starwind, I come here to battle you to earn the Marsh Badge," Azlan noticed as the man was warning others, there are two Sabrina.
One was a little girl in white, holding a Pokeball, she was heartless, and the other was a woman with long dark green hair, wearing a long red shirt, the depressed girl. "I am warning you to be careful, because I am not going to show you any mercy. Moreover, you are so cute, that I will keep you forever with me," The little girl started laughing loudly.
"Once more girls fall for his charms," Freya commented from the sidelines.
Sabrina felt some unknown power which came from the Azlan, and seeing his Lucario. 'He has Lucario, he must be an Aura User. Although the people here hate the Aura Users, he was so cute. Then it decided, he will become mine after I defeat him.'
"I accept the challenge, but there is a bet, if you lose you will have to play with me, with my two new dolls." The little girl spoke up and giggled. She begins her magic and changes Elysia and Freya into a doll.
But to her shock, her powers are not working. "So, your plan is to play with us, after turning us into a doll," Azlan asked as he looked towards her.
"No, I am not going to change you into a doll, but this time, I will make you my husband, and we will play together." Sabrina explained with her giggling, she noticed the Haunter Pokemon near Elysia and Freya and thought because of this her magic is not working.
The big woman spoke up, "This will be a one vs one Pokemon battle. Let play time begin." She floated to the top side of the stadium. Azlan became interested after seeing this, he stepped onto the bottom side of the stadium.
"Come on out Abra," Sabrina commanded. A brown fox-like creature came out of the Pokeball, but it looked like it was asleep.
Azlan looked puzzled by the information from his Pokedex: "Abra, the Psi Pokemon. He sleeps for 18 hours a day. Even when awake, it teleports itself while remaining seated."
Before Azlan commands his Pokemon to go on the stage, Abra starts to glow. "Interesting," Sabrina said. They watched as Abra evolved and changed into a bigger fox, with a spoon. Azlan looked it up: Kadabra, the Psi Pokemon. The evolved form of Abra. It stares at its silver spoon to focus its mind. It emits more alpha waves while doing so.
"Okay Lucario, take the stage," Azlan commanded, and Lucario jumped in the middle of the arena.
"Let's begin the battle with the enemies," Sabrina said, as she smiled with delight.
"Ok, then let's be ready to face the power of Aura, the love, which makes everything feel better. And defeat anything." Azlan said.
"Yes, I also want love from you," The small girl giggled again. "So, show me your love. Kadabra Psybeam." Kadabra fired a Psybeam from his crossed spoons.
"Dodge with Agility!" Azlan ordered. The Aura Pokemon vanished in a blur of movement and the Psybeam missed its mark.
"Kadabra, use Psychic," Sabrina commanded and Kadabra's eyes started glowing.
"Lucario save yourself in Aura Shield," Sabrina didn't not understand what he said and she never knew about this move, she saw Lucario form a blue barrier around himself which is unaffected by Psychic.
"End by Aura Sphere," Azlan commanded, Lucario started forming the blue sphere and hit toward Kadabra.
"Kadabra counter by Psyshock," Sabrina shouted and Kadabra started to form a small purple orb between his paws and fired a wave of dark purple circles at the blue orb.
The two attacks met in midair, both were strong but Aura sphere pushed the Psyshock, and hit the Kadabra and exploded on impact. When the smoke cleared, Kadabra was forcing himself to stand on his leg, but he was unable to.
"Kadabra!" It said he slumped back with swirls in his eyes. "My Kadabra is unable to battle, your Lucario is the winner!" Sabrina announced "It means Azlan Starwind is the victor, now you take this Marsh Badge, or get out from there," she shouted.
"What about all other peoples, what about your mom?" Azlan asked, from the man from outside, he knew that she had also made her mom into a doll and every trainer, who went to battle her.
"It's none of your business," She shouted.
"It's also my business, make them normal," Azlan ordered, Sabrina attacked him on by her Psychic power but Lucario made an Aura barrier, which easily deflected it.
Azlan asked, "What's your problem? Why do you behave so heartlessly, please tell me, I want to help you."
"Because no one loves me, my mom always became angry with me, stopped me from playing. When my dad noticed, I had power, he also stopped me from using the powers and met with the others. This cause, I became so much alone, always I became the sad, to end my sadness I do this," She explain and start crying.
Azlan wasn't able to see her crying, he took her in his arms, he wiped her tears with his own finger, "Don't feel lonely, drop your anger, many people are loving you. Your mom is angry with you because you have done something wrong, but she loves you. Your dad also loves you, no matter how much he showed his anger on you. Many of your relatives became worried for you, I also love you, you are so sweet and cute."
She stopped crying and said, "Really many people love me, my mom loves me, my dad loves me, and you love me."
Azlan nodded, "Ya, they all love you."
She again asked, "You love me." Azlan nodded, then she grabbed him and said, "I LOVE YOU TO" and started kissing him.
He broke the kiss, "What are you doing?"
"You tell me, you love me, then I want to feel my love." She replied.
Azlan said, "I mean, I love you like a friend, don't take it in another way."
After hearing this she again started crying, "I know no one loves me, you lied to me."
"I am sorry, please don't cry, please, I am not lying to you," He tried to calm her, but she did not stop crying. Azlan saw the situation getting worse, he took her in his arms and gave a deep kiss, 'Since I already have so many girls, one more is not a problem' he thought. "Now you believe, I am not lying to you."
"Thank you honey, please one more time say to me, I love you."
Azlan nodded and said "I love you".
"Once again" "I love you" "Once again."
"What the hell are you doing?" Azlan shouted after many times saying I love you, then he noticed she was ready to burst in tears. This was the first time he has meets with the some girls, where he needs to take care of her
"I am sorry, I love you, love you, love you, I love you 5000 thousand times, please don't start crying".
"Ok, I will not cry, but you need to prove it to me, you really love me," Sabrina said in thinking her evil thoughts.
"Prove it to you, how?" Azlan asked.
She takes him again in her arms, and gives a peck. "Marry me, and I will travel with you?" She asked.
"To marry you, it's okay. But for traveling with me, you are a Gym Leader, after you, who takes care of the Gym?"
"I will come with you, my mom and dad take care of the Gym," She replied.
"But what is your duty as Gym Leader?"
"I will come with you." She said again.
"No, you have more work."
"I know why you do not want me to come with you, because you do not love me or you try to escape," She started again crying.
"I am sorry, please do not cry again, I will take you with me," He said while wiping her tears.
"Really? I will come with you?"
"Yes, you can come with me, but never start crying again," He said, she nodded.
Azlan, Sabrina Elysia and Freya become ready for his journey towards the next Gym, to Celadon City Gym.
Sabrina makes her mom normal. Azlan finds the man who warned others outside, he was Sabrina's dad. She also explains to her mom and dad, and tells them she is going with Azlan on his journey.
"Sabrina, you really want to come with us?" Freya asked.
"Yes, I want to travel with Azlan, because I love him very much."
'Wow, it's really amazing for me to travel with my love,' Sabrina thought. "Azlan, so when will we complete our wedding?" She asked.
"How about tonight, but did you know that's what happened in the wedding?" Azlan asked.
Sabrina became shy, she pointed her fingers towards his middle leg, "Your thing entered inside," She then pointed to the middle of her legs, "My thing."
Azlan looked at her shy reaction, he took her in his arms, and started kissing her. She cooperated with him, and they both had tongue fights.
"So, you are able to take my thing inside you, because it was so big," Azlan asked.
"I do anything for my honey," she replied and gave him a peck on his lips.
