Hello! Wow, it's been a while since I've uploaded something. Sorry about that :) well here is the beginning of a new journey I wish to embark with you all on! Bringing two of my favourite shows together. No idea how long it'll take to complete, but I wanna finish it by next Christmas. Any notes in reviews are encouraged.

A note or two to start, this is NOT canon to either show at all. So that means this Doctor is of my own imagination, with some previous adventures being mentioned and some made up as well.

Secondly, I do have the entire story planned i out, but considering my mind is prone to change now and then, who knows what will happen!

Thirdly, you may have noticed 'romance' in the tags...yes, but we'll cross that bridge when we get to it!

Now, with all that being said, please enjoy the prologue!

(PSA! These chapters may get some rewrites from time to time as I flesh stuff out, so on a re-read you may find something new or something has been taken out)

Prologue - December 24, 2006

The time was 2AM, morning of Christmas Eve, and all through 1216 Franklin Avenue, also know by the residents of Royal Woods as The Loud House, and all through the home, the only sounds heard were the snores of the two parents, Lynn Sr and Rita Loud, and of their children; Lori, Leni, Luna, Luan, Lynn Loud Jr and the youngest of the bunch, Lincoln Loud. The latter, sleeping in his older sibling's room, Lynn Jr. This was only while his parents sorted out his own room at the end of the hall, converted from a linen closet, as they'd decorated it for the arrival of a girl before finding out their son was...well, a boy, in the back of the president's limo. He was sleeping soundly in his crib, until he slowly began to stir at a faint wheezing sound heard coming from the sky above. He was the only one whose ears were sensitive enough, only being a year and a couple months old, to hear the distressed engine sound, as it got louder and louder, hurtling towards their home. However, the rest of the family did eventually hear it, when a catastrophic sound came from the back yard, like something had crashed.

"Huh…wha..?" A tired Lynn Sr mumbled as he was forced out of his slumber, a bright burning light shining through the curtains.

"Lori! Lori! Wake up!" Leni, her voice wobbling as she shook her, somehow still asleep, older sister in the bed next to her.

"Leni…go aw…what's that noice?" The eldest sibling asked, rubbing her eyes as she sat up and looked at the window.

The sound in the back garden now resembled a low groaning, like a very poorly engine indeed, like a future child of the family would eventually say.

Doors on the landing now opened, and very tired children walked out, also rubbing their eyes. Lynn, carrying a crying Lincoln, who had fully awoken at the loud crash.

"So we all heard that, dudes?" Luna asked, next to her sibling Luan.

"Yeah, that was really loud" replied Luan, who was way too tired to even come up with a pun right now.

"Kids? Are you all okay? What was that noise" Rita called up, thinking something had happened upstairs, as she run up the stairs, terrified that the kids were hurt. She checked on her children and collected them together in a hug.

"We don't know, mom. We all heard it too" Lynn says, handing over the crying boy to her mother.

"Rita! Get down here!" Lynn Sr called from the kitchen, who had went and checked where the sound had come from.

"Lynn? What is it?" The mother called down, heading towards the stairs but turned to the kids first, "kids, stay there" she says, handing Lincoln carefully to her eldest daughter. Lori held the white haired boy close and rubbed his back gently.

Obviously, they didn't listen and followed their mom down closely, heading to the kitchen and out onto the stairs, a gasp escaping all of them.

What greeted them was something out of a movie, a big blue box that had 'Police Public Call Box' along the top of the doors, and was a quarter buried in the ground at an angle. The window seemed to have been blown out and were billowing out smoke, the light on top was flickering blue and the noise had gone from a low groan to a sound they couldn't even describe.

"Kids, Rita, stay here" Lynn Sr says, Looking at them and gave them all a big hug, before heading down the steps, slowly making his way towards the blue box.

As he got close, the doors swung open outwards, more smoke poured out, and a hand gripped the step from the inside and pulled themselves out, rolling onto the grass with a pained groan, holding their stomach

"I made it…I made it back to you" the young man on the ground says, staring up at the sky, somewhat in relief.

His clothes were torn and covered in burn marks, blood dripped down his face and his arm was seemingly broken, laying it on his stomach. He looked to be around his early thirties?

The male looked over slowly and a small smile graced his face, "Lynn! Oh, thank…ugh" he gripped his arm as he made it too his feet, stumbling towards the man. "You are a sight for sore…everything. Literally, everything hurts, I had to climb from the library and you know how far that room is" he chuckled.

Lynn Sr, however, took a step back and held out a hand to stop him advancing, "woah, don't get any closer! How do you know my name, who are you?" Lynn Sr asked, making the mystery young adult step back in surprise.

"Lynn…it's me…oh, is this payback for not listening to you guys" he sighed, "yeah, it was foolish and as you can see…" looking back at the box and then back at the father "it ended…badly but…" The young adults face suddenly dropped as he looked behind the man at the family on the stairs, only 6 kids were there…and they were young, younger than he had known them, and she...he let out a shaky breath and took a step back with a pained gasp "no…oh…no…I'm…I landed too early" he says, voice breaking. His eyes closed and he bent down, leaning his hand on his knees "this means you've always know" he whispered "why you didn't want me to go...I won't make it back to you now"

"What? What are you talking about?" Lynn Sr asked, the young adult not making any sense.

The man sniffed and stood back up, "I'm sorry, so sorry…" he says, face beginning to glow a golden and wisps began to spring from it. The man shook his head and took a breath, the glow disappearing slowly.

"I'm gonna go…sorry about the garden" he says, in a pained voice "I'm so sorry…" he says again, looking up as snow began to fall around them. He closed his and let out a sad chuckle, like something was a funny coincidence, before turning around and heading back to the box "Merry Christmas, Louds", but there was more to that sorry than he would ever let on.

"Wait, you can't just…" Lynn begins, but the man had already stepped and slipped back into the box, the doors slammed shut behind him, wind picking up and a painful wheezing sound began, the lamp on top beginning to flash and flicker like it was broken, as the box slowly began to disappear until all that was left was a square hole in the ground.

The whole family was speechless, not sure if that were just dreaming or that actually happened.

Lynn and Rita ushered their kids back into the house, and up to their rooms. Hoping silently that the kids just thought that this was just a dream or they'd just forget as they were so tired.

One by one, the kids fell asleep, until it was only Lincoln still awake in his mothers arms down in the living room. Both parents silently looking at the other, would they get an answer as to what had transpired out in their back garden tonight or would it just be a mystery?

1.7 billion light years across the universe however, the same police box, 15 years younger than the one that had just crashed, was drifting through space, and inside? Well, this adventure was just about to begin.

DING DING DING! As someone has now pointed it out. I shall confirm that, YES, this is 100% the ORIGINAL start to Moffat's series 5 if David Tennant had stuck around for one more season! I always loved this idea and wanted to put it to paper (fan fiction?)
